AkaneGirl89
Hey! i'm new here! :D :) I was born in Tacoma, Washington. I moved to Texas when I was 3 and have been living here since. I'm currently a 15 yr. old sophmore student. I'm on the swim team and swim the 50 freestyle or any sprinting ones available. I'm going to be looking for a job at Starbucks when it opens up over here. I'm a very sporty girl, I've been in track and basketball. I did the 400m sprint in track and was pointguard in basketball. I love rollerblading and drawing. I also like to cook, write poems, read, and play video games. My birthday is on Jan.4. I am unforunatley the middle child. :( I want to become a veterinarian, police officer, or a pshychiatrist. I wanna try to get into UT(University of Texas in Austin).
ZakuSage
Well I've neglected posting here for a bit, but I might as well now. I'm a 15 year old entering High School this September. If you're a little confused, no I didn't fail anything. High School starts in grade 10 here because our school board is insane. I live in Darmouth, Nova Scotia and currently have no job. I'm hoping to get some volenteer experience soon to fill up my resume, and soon enough a part time job. Right now I'm low on cash as my only sources of income are my parents and babysitting, and unfortionitly I spend money too quickly. I'd love to get a part time job at Electronics Boutique, Future Shop (same thing as Best Buy), or at Canadian Tire. My plan for the future is to get job in law or politics. I've thought for a while about being a video game designer, but I'd rather keep my hobbies and job seperate.

Imp
Hmmmm... I'm from San Jose, California, (in the bay area), and I'm 16 and about to enter my Junior year in high school... I don't study a lot like some students do though I get really good grades... Oh, what I do... I'm hoping to be a singer or animator/artist or even astronomer or something... Mostly, I dream, think about how our minds work, hope and pray that I have psychic powers someday, draw, work on my website, draw on the computer, sing, play music, put spells on people... *slaps herself on the head* Oops, shouldn't have said that... Oh, job? I had a job at some amusement park called Great America--I worked at a restaurant there, but I was just washing dishes and stuff. I hated it, so I quit a few weeks ago... ^_^ I'm trying to find a new job, but I'm not that social and I feel sick if I stand up for too long... I don't care where I go to college, even if I have to go out of the state, or even country! I'm looking for a college with art classes as well as science classes, especially psychology and astronomy... I don't like sports at all, but I do like to dance... I want to do something creative with my life... and all the other things I listed above... Yeah, I know I'm weird... Oh, and I lived in California all my life except when I was three to when I was five, when I lived in Singapore... I liked living there! (well, it's not as nice as living on another planet, but anywhere out of this country seems good to me right now...) Whoa, I said too much, so I'll stop there... Eli
*Grabs cowgirl hat* Howdy dowdy do, I'm come from Cattle Land, cowpoke. Yeeehah! (TX :p ) Oh yeah, fun fun here. *Moves to California*(...I wish...) I'm planning on moving on out to LA sometime around next year, and I plan to go to college somewhere in the state, and major in literature and biology. (Don't ask.) My family is fricken huge, man. (Or it may just be me.) We go from Cali all the way to Germany, scattered in many various areas. XD Though I have at least part of my family tree, and I can tell that so far I have 21 cousins, most of them newborns. v_v;;; Born in Texas, I moved to Pennsylvania, California, and right back to Texas again. I've been playing piano since I was three, so I'm kind of hooked to it- that and drawing, which I've been doing for about a year now. I enjoy basically any kind of music but country, though I'm a big fan of all the rock and classical music. I like to be the shcool clown, and do embarrassing things that people would rarely do on a daily occasion. My favorite food is Pocky and Yan Yan, yummy! *Rubs tummy* Hey, "yummy" and "tummy" rhyme. [Random person- "So does 'dummy.' "] Hey, who said that?!...ANYwho... Private shcool sucks, I promise. I think I'll beg my dad to go to public school...maybe...I try to stay on all A's, though the occasional B and C slips out a couple of times. I'm really fond of Spanish class, though my fill of it is over. There are no more classes for me to take, so I gotta take French. Meh, what can ya do? I'm also going to take Drama and Dance too. W00t! Ever since third grade, I had my head set on being an astronaut for NASA. Though something hit me last year, and I've now decided to become either a rock star (which is most likely not going to happen), fashion/house designer, scientist, or a writer. Yeah, I think that's it. :D I just quit my job yesterday, it's time to take a break and party hard before school starts back up again. I'm definately going to work in this rock climbing area- more pay + less labor= oh yeah! Am I done? I think that's it. Yes? No? Screw it, I'm done. oshi
I'm in Wisconsin 'o the oo ess ah. Here, cows do not run rampant (but pretty close, you know, like usual), "diversity" is a thing unknown despite the recent increase in just that--most people won't acknowledge that it's happening, of course--and it has RAINED almost all of this summer. I freak out when there are bad storms, so this has not been the best season for me, personally. However, there are days when I go outside and think, "Yes, this is why we endure 9 months of freezing cold and 3 more of incessant dampness. Because this is beautiful." Despite my cynicism for this state, I have no intentions of leaving here. I'm planning on just changing it slowly to suit my needs, without anyone else noticing. I think it's working so far. I'll be going to NY in about a week for a wedding. Rochester, though, so we won't be getting near any of that nasty stuff :). (most certainly kidding, NYkers.) And if we contort our travel route nicely enough, we'll be going to the mysterious land mass hovering o'er the head of the U.S. known as "Canadia." Just for the Medieval Times show, however. We're not interested in anything else you have to offer. :p Canada holds for me the terrifying memory of almost being backed over by a truck while camping in a tent in my aunt's backyard--by my uncle. That place is craaaaaaaazy. I spend my time sitting on tiny, human-like creatures. I mean, babysitting children. I forget sometimes that that's what they are. lonewolf228
Well,I'm going into highschool and hopefully be a game designer(And no, I dont mean making mainstream games such as "enter the matrix" I making this RPG Witch is like final fantasy exectp for that you actually get a choice on what to do and say, and actually chage the ending, well thats not much like final fantasy they ,mostly just make the ending longer, and I'm trying to stray away from a game like this: a series of missions linked by the occesional cutscene to develop a cliche story,) The problem is that I have a good imagination but I can barery program {And I mean barely} Much less design a char. DBZgirl88
Well, let's see here. I was born in Saudi Arabia, but my roots are palestinian. I've never been to Palestine though *sniff. When I was six years old my family came to London, Ontario, Canada. We still live there. I just finished highschool and I'm off to University in the fall. I'm pretty excited about it too, but still nervous. I'm going to study science, but I might take a second degree in music. Speaking of music, I've been playing violin since grade seven, but I don't take private lessons. In grade seven and eight it was just part of my school's curriculum, and in highschool it was an optional course you can take for half of your lunch. I really enjoy playing violin and I hope I can take private lessons later on to improve my skills.
Inuyasha311
Lets see I live in Florence SC, around here there is not to much to do. The best thing is to get some friends and start to hang. Around spring break is the best time to head to the beach. Everyone goes to the Blvd. during this break you can look at really nice cars. Thats why I like to go. As for me I like to read get on the computer play pool, work, and take a swim in the pool. I hope I will be moving to Uath soon I guess. I never really have been out of state before, except that time I lived in Va for about 6 months and that wasn't to bad. They had alot more places with pool tables then down here. Anyway, for any of you who want to know, Jersey isn't exactly the most exciting place. If you want excitement, don't come here. Jersey is pretty wierd at times though. I guess that's a plus, and so is the fact that there aren't big cities all over the place. Cities suck in my opinion. (no offense to anyone who does like them or lives in one) Anyway, this is my first post ever on the boards, so sorry if it's kinda jumbled-up and poorly written. i don't have much experience in typing these things. ^^;

Balmon
If THAT'S the state of thing in New Jersey... America's got a lotta' work to do. What kind of inane law is that? By the way, welcome everybody who's been posting in the past little while. I AM reading this daily, by the way, and it's amazing to find such a varied group in the OB. terra
I was born in New Jersey and have lived there for about 17 years of my life and I've never heard of that law. Maybe it's some popularist, really quick version of the law that has a more reasonable explanation behind it. Either that, or it doesn't exist. Just had to get that in ... Jersey is a unique place. Well, in my opinion, anyway ... Everybody who lives there knows it has pretty much the worst reputation in the United States, yet we all defend it like crazy. At least I do. Gavin
Well being OB's resident Irishman it would be more than slightly odd if I wasn't actually Irish, but I am Irish so let's move on swiftly... I was born in the South Tipperary region of the Republic of Ireland and I've lived there all my life, I lived in the town up until the age of seven when my family moved out into the country to the house my father lived in as a child. I've lived here for the last ten years for better and worse and really have no regrets because of the serene peacefulness of the area as well as the sheer scenic beauty of the countryside. I can say safely that I wouldn't live in the noisy town for all the tea in China. I'm 17 and still a student but due to a pretty severe accident in November of last year I was forced to leave my previous high school. I'll be restarting the senior cycle this coming September in the High School in town, from there I hope to get my Leaving Certificate to go on to college. I'm currently working in a very large hardware store as a shop assistant, it's good work and I'm making a very decent wage.

Richard Doherty
I was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada on September 13 1989. I have been living there, in the same house my entire life. My ethnic roots though are messed up. My mother is from Britain, so I'm part English. My father is from Montreal, Quebec. His mother is Pollock and her father was Russian. My father's father is Irish. I told you it was messed. Anyways, I'm a grade 10 highschool student (starting in September) whose studying to become an icthyologist. A person who studies fish. (I plan on becoming a shark expert). I'm into violent sports like football, and martial arts with a tendency to get carried away when playing with fire and explosives. (My freind got a hold of a railroad explosive and I nearly took out my eye). Perhaps this post will give you some insight into the insanity that is my life. Phil
I think They're called blue laws, most times the cops don't enforce them, but I guess New Jersey is an exception. New York and Texas have some really good laws. My favoirte NEw York law is that if someone breaks into your house and they break something you can shoot them. Texas has two that probably originate from when they were all wild and western. For example they have this one law on the books that says that if you're caught on the street with a pair of wire cutters you can be arrested for cattle rustling. The other one is that if you suspect that someone is cheating at cards you can shoot them. My husband and I liked that one because of this roommate we had. Lincoln wanted to try and get rid of him by asking the guy to play bull **** then saying he was cheating and shoot him. If the cops tried to arrest my husband he could just say that it's on the Texas law books. I forgot what state it was, but there's a law there that says you can't tie your alligator up to a lightpost when you go shopping. One of my friends wanted to try that one out by tying a stuffed alligator to a lampost. I guess another thing you could say I do is see if I'd be any good in Jeopardy by picking up misclanious pieces of useless information.
SilverCyclone
Im a 15 year old male kick boxer from Huntington Beach, California. Regardless of the kickboxing part, I am EXTREMELY clumsy. Vash IDK
Where to start. To tell you the truth, I'm really not interesting. I'm from California, and believe me, it's no summer beach :) Most of the days here are cold and grey with a chance of a little sunshine. But thank goodness for me, I love this kind of weather. I'm an early graduate, not cause I'm smart or anything, only because the chance was there where I could get out, and me being a school hater, I jumped at that and hightailed it out of there. Umm, let's see, I really have no life other than art and hanging out with friends. I've always been interested in Anime, but I've never had the resources to get my hands on some. Now that I do, I'm sucking up three different Animes a month. I've finished Trigun and Dot Hack, and I'm going onto Rahzephon. Can't Wait!!! I'm not really an artist. It kind of started as a hobby, and then I started learning more and more about it from friends. Alright, my hobbies consist of doing nothing, playing video games, (No gore. Worst game I own is Zelda. Oooh, fRigHTenInG....) spending time with friends, and getting obsessed over the littlest things. I enjoy Movies that have great character development, and close companions that never quit supporting the ones they care about most. Kind of the way I like to describe myself. While I am not the easiest person to be around at first, I tend to grow on people. My humor is anything less than normal. So fear... fear VERY much... lol, well that's all I care to reveal about myself. If you got to this point in my post, I'm truly amazed that you're not bored yet. :)
Balmon
Why would you say ALLLL of that - and then qualify it all by saying that no one would be interested. OF COURSE WE'RE INTERESTED.
