You don't have to write freakishly long posts. As long as your one, two or three line replies actually say something of importance, there shouldn't be an issue. You're always welcome to appeal a moderator's decision via PM--I won't speak for other members of the staff, but if I judge something incorrectly I have no problems with admitting (publicly or privately) that I'm wrong. Speaking your mind probably won't make anybody angry; being overly negative about it very well might.

Grammer and spelling is important. If everyone went around posting in l337 then the site would be really messy. No one would be able to understand each other, and it would be really hard trying to read post. It's dead clear that the only reason for good grammer and spelling is so that people can read post. No one said your post had to be perfect, no one said you had to have every word right. Seriously, there's a large chance that you can find mistakes in most of my post, but atleast it's readable.

While speaking your mind politely won't get you banned, foul language will. Keep an eye on that, please.

Other than that, I have nothing to add to what Dagger and vicky have already expressed. This is a community for people who wish to have intelligent conversations online...as paradoxical as that may sound. Long posts are not required, but they tend to occur anyway.
