Anime Funny anime moments

[color=darkviolet]What moments from anime or manga strike you as funny and why?

[b]Warning some spoilers.[/b]

SailorMoon always seems to have some really funny moments. Of course most of them are with either Usagi or Minako mistranslating or misquoting something.

Like the episode in SailorMoonR where Naru was telling Usagi that she and Umino had been making promise rings. Usagi thought she said Pro wrestling then got this picture in her head of Naru and Umino wrestling adn said Kinky.

And then the one in Stars where Usagi asks Minako what Yaten is doing and Minako replies "Voice training." For some reason Usagi thought she said Breast cleaning. Minako hits her in teh head and says: Why would someone be cleaning his breasts?

A good one without the senshi is the time Zoisite was [spoiler]chasing after this cat that had the seventh rainbow crystal and ended up following him and Luna through the sewer. He gets to this one place where it's dark and feels the walls and remarks that they're warm. then he realizes that the wall is moving and is crawling with rats. The rats then chase him through the sewer. The facial expressions that the animators gave him were pretty funny. Na dhe gets all Indiana Jones and says: Why did it have to be Rats?[/spoiler]

The only other funny scene I can think of is the second episode of Rayearth where Prisea is trying to figure out what to do with the three girls and she asks if she should pull on their funny cheeks to see how far she can make them stretch or maybe it would be better if I boiled you in a big pot! The scens have her pulling on Umi's cheeks then sticking all three of them in a caldron while she dances around like an indian (very un PC)

In Cowboy Bebop in one episode when I saw Ein wearing a wig it just made me laugh! :laugh:

Ya, Cowboy Bebop has some funny moments, mostly with Ed though. Like when Ed played Chessmaster Hex at a game of chess for like a whole week straight. Another funny anime moment is all of FLCL. That whole show is one big joke. Theres one episode where the father sends their robot to go get him some "adult" magazines. He ends up sending the robot back because they weren't the ones with the Anna Nicole centerfold. I thought that was pretty funny. Well, that's all I can think of for now.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue][B][SIZE=1]Get Backers give me some laughs everytime Ban and Ginji turn into kawaii chibis. There are a lot of funny moments from Ranma too [SPOILER]like when Happossai and tried to stop his underwear obsession, succeeded and failed[/SPOILER]. Then again...Ranma is a comedic anime so we can expect a lot of funny moments from it. Most funny moments I get from fanfics though... ^_^x[/SIZE][/B][/COLOR]

[color=teal]Oh! I've got a funny one from Yu Yu Hakusho, its an old episode too. I thought it was funny when Kurama and Kuwabara were trying to explain to Hiei how to play rock, paper, scissors.

Another one is a newer episode not shown on TV yet.
[spoiler]Botan, Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama are in the house of four dimensions and they make it to a room were they each have to take a seperate staircase. Botan introduces the Megiru Seals and says that they should write their names on them and put them on each other so they know if someone is hurt or not. They get to Hiei and he says he doesn't need one, Kurama plops a seal on his chest and says "Could it be that Hiei has forgotten that his soul was the first to be lost? Hiei doesn't argue but grunts and gives a dirty look to Kurama[/spoiler][/color]

[Dark Necrofear]

In Yu-Gi-Oh, when they were looking for Joey who was dueling agaisnt Bones, that skeleton that fell on Ryou! His face was priceless! Oh and when that fake boulder ran over him! I was laughing so much that my sides hurt!

Also, in the first volume of Naruto"manga), when he uses his sexy no jutsu(is it spelled like that?) in front of Iruka and gives him a nosebleed. TO FUNNY! :laugh:

[Strayed Soul]

Trigun Episode 1-When Vash steals Meryal's doughnuts and starts eating them.

Trigun Episode 2- When Vash gets drunk and starts jumping around.

Trigun Episode 3- When vash is chewing bubble gum and listening to music and dancing

Trigun Episode 3- When vash walks into the bar and gets smacked and says "Hey im sorry I wont do it again here take my gun I wont tryi anything

Trigun Episode 3- When vash crawls like a worm to the mayors daughter trying to look up her skirt.

Trigun- When vash trys to watch that girl take a shower (cant remember the episode)

Cowboy Bebop- When they eat the mushrooms and get high LOL I laughed for 5 minutes.

There are a lot of good ones, but my personal favourite was in Dragonball Z, when Buruma started to flirt with Mirai Trunks. Trunks just gets this O_O; look on his face.

For me, this just some of the funny moments I watched .

Getbackers- When Ginji run away from Akabane that Akabane is still behind him. After he ran, he thought that he had left Akabane behind that he started saying "Akabane-chan?! Akabane-chan?!" And then Akabane said "Hai!" Ginji's face is just like :eek:

Naruto- It's always when Naruto uses his "Sexy no Jutsu" in Iruka, his second trainer (I forgot the name) and esp. Jiraiya that made Jiraiya called himself as "super pervert" (hehehehe :D :laugh: :D :laugh: )

Ruruoni Kenshin- It's always when Kenshin gets a "smackdown" from his friends like Kaoru and Sanosuke. (hehehehe :D :D :D )

[Venge]

In the episode of Dragonball GT (Heart of The Prince), Bulma explains to Vegeta about how the Blutz Wave Generator was going to be operated on, it showed a shot of Bulma on Planet Tuffle while under Bebis control. I quote what Vegeta said, "Whoa, I don't want to be reminded of that face!", I laughed at it and fell of my bed while watching it. And then when Bulma said to Vegeta, "If your a prince then that makes me a princess, hmm?", and Vegeta blushed, I almost lost my breath!

In the episode after that one (cant remember its name), Goku said he was going to take out Ice Shenron in 10 seconds, but he wound up and slipped on the ice and banged his head. I had tears by then!

[color=darkviolet]The one episode of DBZ I watched was really funny. It was the one where Piccolo was learning to drive. I saw it way back in 2000 and all I could think about for days after wards was, my driving instructor should be glad I don't drive like he does.

InuYasha has had a few funny moments for me.

Of course there's the episode where he walked into Kagome's bathroom Nekid! :eek: (Lucky Kagome eh?)

Then there was the episode where he trashed Kagome's alarm clock and he thought she was mad at him for that so he decided to appologize.

And of course the episode with the Hell Painter. I thought that one was funny because he laid down in the pile of blood and ink goes [spoiler] **i* this stuff smells like blood and ink then his eyes get all funny looking[/spoiler]

Another SailorMoon Episode that I thought was funny was when the inners were pretending to [spoiler]get into a fight with SailorMoon so that Kunzite would let her into the Dark Kingdom. Mars kicks moon in the butt and Moon begins to cry that Rei's being mean to her again. Rei says that she has to do that so it looks believable. And Moon replies, But the butt you kicked out of meaness really hurts.[/spoiler] It was also funny when Mercury pulls out a book and asks her for the square root of 2.

Then of course there's Slayers Try when Someone makes Filia angry and she turns from a human into a dragon. After she does that she says "How emberassing, I can't believe I got naked infront of all those people!"

Those were some good times.[/color]

Another one of my favorites is from Fushigi Yugi and it involves Tasuki and Tamahome.

The Suzaku people had finally gotten [spoiler]Tamahome back from Nakago and them. So he was finally not evil anymore. However Tasuki still remembered when Tamahome was evil and had beaten him up pretty bad.[/spoiler] So the next time Tasuki had to use his fan/ or decided to use his fan he aimed it at Tamahome and scorched him. :laugh:

[Box Hoy]

Boy lets see.

Probably in the episode of Inuyasha, where Miroku goes to save all the old men from the really pretty princess who was possessed by a demon. Sango shows up and the two fight the demon.
At the end you think Miroku and Sango are going to hook up and Sango is acting like nothing is happening.
Nothing really does happen when Miroku feels her butt. He walks along the road with the hand mark from getting slapped.
What can I say. Men just can't help themselves.

In Inuyasha the episode with the evil water god when Miroku and Sango find the real water god shrunken Miroku says a little small but I'll give it a try Sango says give what a try!Miroku says oh nothing.

Theres a funny episode of Maison Ikkoku where, by the end, most of the characters are stuck down a well and you never see them get out.

I enjoy pretty much all of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, but there are a few moments in particular I found hilarious. Sorry, but two out of the three I'm gonna list are perverted.

1. From the episode "The Goddess Visits Japan: The Hot Springs Chapter" or however that really translates, where the whole gang (along with Tessa) go to some hot springs and Kurz Weber + guys try to spy on the girls while they're naked. But Sousuke being what he is, well, sets up traps everywhere (that's not really a spoiler if you know what Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu is). Anyway, my fav moment is at the end, when [spoiler]Shinji Kazama finally jumps over the fence only to face-plant on Sousuke's you-know-what. The hot spring changed from a women's to a men's at just the wrong time.[/spoiler].

2. Another funny moment is just about 3 seconds long, and is from the previous episode. Mardukas is yelling at Sousuke, telling him not to do anything perverted to the Captain (Tessa) while she's staying over, and as he says it the screen flashes to a hypothetical situation, where [spoiler]Tessa is showering, a giant Bonta-kun (Sousuke in a costume, inferred from watching the preceding episodes) pulls away the curtain and lunges at her, with a banana in his hand. The camera zooms in on the banana as Tessa yells and the scene abruptly ends.[/spoiler] I suppose it wasn't necessarily too original, but the way it was done was hilarious and really got the point across.

3. The third is from one of the "unaired" episodes or whatever. It's the one where Sousuke, Kyoko and Kaname have to sell lunch to the students for a month and the crazy gym teacher keeps trying to [spoiler]sabotage everything[/spoiler]. The best part is of course the ending, where [spoiler]he first stabs himself in the face with needles while trying to swat a fly on his face, and then gets to poking holes in all the bread and rolls like a moron while the principal is standing right behind him. Oops.[/spoiler]

Really that whole show was great. Probably the funniest anime I've seen. Puts Love Hina to shame completely.

[color=indigo][size=1][font=comic sans ms]My favorite episode of Outlaw Star is "BEast Girl, Ready to Pounce"; it's the funniest thing I've seen outside of Tenchi Muyo!.

[spoiler]After Aisha Clanclan makes the bold statement that Gene's gun will never kill "an immortal Ctarl Ctarl", Gene shoots her. She gets one of the funniest anime expressions I've ever seen as his Caster Shell electrocutes her, leaving her twitching on the floor.

Gene's response. "Hey, I huess you [i]are[/i] an immortal Ctarl Ctarl, after all. Good for you! ^__^[/spoiler]

There are many scenes I love in the (original) Shaman King, as well. [spoiler]In particular, when Tokagero possesses Ryu's body and has Manta as a hostage, he warns Yoh and Amidamru that if they approach him, he'll slaw Manta. Anna's response: "So?"[/spoiler]

And, of course, Tenchi Muyo!. [spoiler]When Mr. Masaki tries to peek in on the girls' spa, Ryoko pops right up. "Hi!" Masaki falls off the wall, much to Ryoko's puzzlement.[/spoiler][/color][/size][/font]

There was this one time on Dragonball GT whre trunks and goku and pan are on this on planet searching for a dragon ball and theres this giant cat thing and little goku pulls off one of its whiskers and is running away with it and the cat is chasing him. lol. for some reason that was too funny

The episode in Inuyasha where we first meet Miroku, he sees Kagome in the hot springs with the large shard of the Shikon jewel around her neck (BTW, Kagome's not wearing anything) And Miroku says: "Wow they're huge-- er, I mean it's huge!" He's head was obviously in the gutter (As usual)

:D Yes, that was funny when Miroku had said that about Kagome.
Anyhow, another halarious scene in Inuyasha was when Kagome and Miroku were yelling at Inuyasha to be more gentle. Then when you couldn't see them arguing anymore and you just could hear them. Miroku said"Yes be more gentle like this!!"

It was so funny you could hear Kagome's scream and Inuyasha yell"I told you not to touch her!!!" :laugh:

[color=darkviolet]Farewell to my Youth (or sometthing to that effect) which was on tonight was pretty funny.

[spoiler]I especially liked the end where they were trying to get back at Myoga for not telling them that Shoku was the one possesing them. They tried to make him get married and Myoga ended up escaping on a cat.[/spoiler]

Another funny part of that episode was when InuYasha was possesed [spoiler] and he ended up going after Shippo and calling him a naughty boy[/spoiler]

I just found the entire episiode entertaining. Maybe it's because I'm easily amused[/color]
