(Tsukasa)
I like the show and i like .hack//sign too. I wish i could play the games but I haven't yet. I like Shugo cause I don't know i always feel connect to the lead guy of anime shows certain ones though. This cool of you for making this thread. Seibzeihn
The show's pretty good, not the best I've ever seen but definitely up there. I've played three of the four games, and they're OK too....things can just get repetitive after a while, but the story's good. I wish it would have just been one or two games though, as each one only lasts about fifteen hours (which is short for me -- I'm used to playing like 45-hour-long Final Fantasy RPs). Four games is a bit much, especially if you buy them all at full price :nope: I look forward to watching more of the show, though :D
The Bellboy
I have to say, even though it was kind of my first real experience with Tenchi Muyo!, that Tenchi Muyo! In Love was really good. It had that sort of Back to the Future appeal to it, and besides, I almost shed a tear at the end when Achika goes on her whole Shpiel about though her life may be short, she would spend it to the fullest with Nobuyuki. That's depressing! Then of course, there was Daughter of Darkness. Which, err...wasn't as touching, and incestuous Mayuka kind of disturbed me. "Daddy! You're turning red!" "What do you like better, Daddy? Noodles, or me!" "You can bathe with Grandpa' later" "Yay!" o_o; Of course, there was the point where Tenchi slapped the taste out of Ryoko's mouth which left me all like: "wtf" I dunno', I haven't seen too many anime movies, but both of those are better than any Dragonball Z movies I've seen. Except for the "History of Trunks" movie, I can't remember the Japanese name. You just can't get enough of Mirai Trunks!
Box Hoy
I first found out about Legend of Twilight in this months Newtype. I like how their illustrating it. Really looks good. I love how illustrator Yoko Kikuchi made all the characters chibi. Shugo sounds cool but I hear that he is sort of a redneck. He gets sweaty when his sister Rena is in a revealing outfit. LOL. I can't wait to see it but I got to wait. When the hell is it on, on Cartoon Network.
Amity
I love this show!! It's better than the other .Hack//sign, the whole thing with the bracelet and just the character and stuff. Winning the two legendary hackers in a contest is awsome. I can't find the words I want to say, but this show is way cool. And It's also funny. I hope this isn't going to be like the other .hack where it wasn't that long shown on Cartoon Network. I think this show is very well done- nice graphics/ designs and I hope it's something to see more of!
KKC
.hack//legend of the twilight comes on every Friday night (Sunday morning) at 1:00 (or 1:30) A.M. Easter Time. Legend of the Twilight only has 13 episodes, so it shouldn't take six months and two weeks to air all the episodes (that was .hack//sign). I'v seen a couple of episodes from Legend of Twilight, but I havn't seen it enough to have a favorite character. I think it will be either Balmung or the wolf girl (cant remember her name).
Clause
I think my favorite character is Mileyu just because she's funny. Like when she first saw the bracelet, while Shugo and Rena were talking, Mileyu was just saying stuff like "Wow, so beautiful, I want it I want it I want it!!" Zephyr
So far the show is quite interesting. It is great to see some humor in the .Hack series, as opposed to the complete seriousness to SIGN, and the occasional joke in the games. Most of the episodes are interesting because of the changes made from the manga. The only exception so far is the episode explaining how Hotaru got the grunty (since it was a complete rip-off from an episode of SIGN). Out of the characters in the show, my two favorites are Mirielle and Ouka. Mirielle is a favorite because Sandy Fox does such a good job of breathing a unique life into her, and providing her with some interesting behaviors. Ouka is just fun to watch whenever there is a monster to beat up, or when she is toying with Shugo's emotions.
jim, hawkins
I like this anime its real good but not that original. The artwork could be better but all in all it's ok. my favorite character in .hack//dusk would have to be the character that can transform into a wolf even though I'm beginning to suspect she's an ingame creature kind of like Mia from the PS2 games. What do you all think do you agree?

She's not an ingame character like Mia and Macha. The Anime is very nice. I love the Animation and how everyone was drawn; its just so wonderful. ^_^ I also like how .hack//Legend of the Twilight(also known as .hack//UDEDEN) brings a sort of, comic relief from the seriousness that was .hack//SIGN. The series is short but, atleast it wont take forever in showing. For anyone who likes the show, I'd suggest the Manga, if you haven't read it already(I actually haven't, but, I haven't found a place where I can buy it from yet...>.>), which is .hack//DUSK. DUSK was the basis for the TV series of .hack//Legend of the Twilight (.hack//UDEDEN). It has to be quite obvious by looking at my username, avatar and signature who my favorite character is. My reason, though, is that I like Ouka because she's a very cool character. She's a great fighter and is always having fun. She's fearless and very intelligent as well.
(Tsukasa)
Yah twilight is great but I wish it wasn't so short. I like long anime shows so that way I will have alot of satisfaction finding how it ends. Bye for know.

Now I have only seen a couple of the episodes but I did read the .hack//Legend of the Twilight manga which is what the .hack//Legend of the Twilight anime is based on. That leads me to my next question. Has anyone read the manga here? I'm wondering because the shows events are directly from it. This is how I know Ouka is a real person. Over all, I'm happy that they made the manga an anime too. I have known this was coming for a long time now. I'm on like, page 46 or something. It's really good. ^_^ I wish I could have bought the first volume, but, the second volume was the only one that the store had at the time. I'm not lost or anything. I was very happy because the second volume started out with the last episode that they had shown on TV. The Manga is very cool. The illustrations and stuff are very well done. I'm definitely going to be looking around to see if I can find the first volume and I'll be awaiting the third volume's release.
natetron46
I have also been reading the second manga, I read some of the first, I actually prefer the second, seeing as how it leaves off where the show ended. Does anyone know the release date for the third volume? Im very anxious, but I have yet to see an actual date.
Zephyr
The third volume is set to be released on the 9th of November. That is what the TokyoPop website says.
Petie
The Tokyopop website hasn't been rite in the release date for a while. I just found out recently from a store that sells them in NYC that the third volume has been "postponed indefinitely." It's still being worked on in Japan so it will be a while until it's published here.
natetron46
What the hell is going on? I was waiting for this one, now i need to wait even longer..... uhhhh. Why is it being postponed? Is it just not ready yet, or were there problems, or did they just want to build suspense?
Petie
It's just not ready yet. If I remember correctly, they haven't finished volume 3 in Japan so it isn't even here to be translated first. We'll have to wait until it's finished in Japan, then translated here before we see it.
Petie
I have an update on volume 3 of the .hack manga! I just found out yesterday that it is definitely being released in August (when it was originally supposed to be released). They kept changing things on the website so I got confused but I know this for a fact now because it is on order at a comic book store called Midtown Comics in NYC.
shibatku
I just go to Walden Books. If anyone's ever heard of that! Barnes and Noble work too. The manga is pretty good. Did you know that it has a series now. It was on Cartoon Network a day or 2 ago. It's pretty cool.
DDG
Yes, .hack//Legend of the Twilight has been showing on Cartoon Network every Friday night for the past few weeks now so, yes, I knew, heh. I found this kind of odd...after I had watched this past Friday's episode of .hack//Legend of the Twilight, I discovered that its plot line and the Manga's plot line were different. I found it really odd because with the different plot lines it made me realize that people that were shown in Volume 2 of the Manga like
Wiseman and Zefie
were either not going to be shown in the show or weren't going to be shown until a later time. Seems kind of strange to me, but, I guess that they probably did it just to make the show a bit different from the Manga so people who have read the Manga and are now watching the show don't think its the exactly the same story because its not. They both started out the same, but now the Manga and the show's storylines have kind of, split off from each other, giving both stories different plot lines/storylines.

The reason I ask is, the comic shop I go to has not recieved an order form for it, and their forms include items set for a September/October release date. TokyoPop's site still lists a November release.
Petie
I'm just going on what I've been told. I have never trusted the Tokyopop website for it's release date on this manga. It keeps changing and they don't update it. I'm not sure why your comic shop won't be getting it next month but I've been told that mine will. I could be wrong though. It might have changed again and I wasn't informed.
