These were the words spoken by the high Priest Esmund to his dutiful pupils.
They were few now the select disciples that had managed to overcome the horrific trails of life in Medieval Britain.

All had excelled in their own fields, fighting their way through both the physical and mental torture inflicted upon them everyday. Covered by the name of ?Tests? these sadistic challenges were no more than a means of elimination, a sick idea formed by the leaders of the Church based on the theory of, ?Only the strong will survive.?

These victims, only children at the time, were being prepared for a great occurrence. Their generation was the unlucky one. These were the warriors, the ones to save the lives of many from the approaching Darkness?. the children of God and the protectors of Heaven.

Now many years have passed since the chosen had begun their training and the time of the predicted war is swiftly approaching. Creatures of Heaven, Hell and Earth are starting to build up their forces for what could be an apocalypse.
The only hope for human kind now is 6 teenagers; each blessed with their own powers and will to fight.

As Dragons, Elves, Demons and Angels prepare, the young hero?s train until they bleed.
To survive you must fight, to fight you must train and in battle you may well die?all for a cause that you may not believe in, are you still willing to risk it all?

[B]Scelestum:[/B] I will allow up to three to be Scelestum Warriors. These are the ones who stray from the path, ones who would rather have lived a normal life than to be deemed the name of, ?Child of God?. They excel at black magic but aren?t good at strong white magic spells, like healing.

[B]Columba:[/B] These are the real children of God. The pure ones who will be the true saviours of Earth and human kind, ones who are dedicated to God and always will be. They use white magic and aren?t too good with the old black magic.

[B]Personality:[/B] Confident and kind, Blair is thought of as a role model amongst younger children. She helps the Priests take care of the Church and is always willing to use her magic if need be. She is a fierce warrior and even though she enjoys her life, she is willing to die for her friends.

[B]Bio:[/B] Blair was born as an illegitimate child to a Scott and an English woman during a war between two tribes. Her parents did not want a child and Blair was left at the Church doors to be raised by Priests.
She was found with a simple note that read,
?Blair, child of sin, banish the Devil from within her.?
The Priests took this seriously and went about making sure that she would be the purest of children. Her second name was given to her by the Priest that took the role of father, James Conroy, he raised her until she was 10 and they lived as a happy one parent family.

On the 3rd of January that year, 1 day before Blair?s birthday, demons attacked the Church.
They came in massive numbers, breaking down the Spiritual Shields created by Mages and the prayers of the village people brought no assistance.
Blair witnessed it all from her hiding spot in the rafters of Priest Conroy?s room, his murder by a Demon and his final cries of,
?God, save my daughter.?
Those words still haunt her to this day and they alone are what caused her to shun God and religion from her life.
She refuses to believe that a Creator of any kind could let the mass murder of the very people who dedicated their lives to him go unpunished.

Even though she now acts like the perfect Catholic, she hides the fact that God no longer exists in her mind for fear of losing the love she has gained from the people in the Church.

You know the drill. That, but more medieval garb. He tends to wear black, blue, and purple when he can get it. His taste in clothes is simple, yet beautiful.

Personality: Marius is, for lack of a better term, a cocky bastard. He knows he looks good, knows he fights well, knows he's brilliant, and knows that no one in their right mind can resist him. He flaunts his skills and beauty, and has made more than a few enemies. He's not narcissistic, he just feels superior. He has an ego the size of modern-day Navada. His wit is razor sharp, and he always wins battles of words. He is loyal to those he deems worthy of his trust and loyalty.

Despite this outer shell of arrogance and ego, inside Marius's life is lacking. His past has left him bitter and scarred, but he covers the truth of his life completely with his cocky outer self. He occasionally goes into periods of gloomy introspection, and lashes out at those who disturb him.

Weapon: Marius wields a rapier-longsword hybrid. It's thinner and faster than more longswords, but more sturdy than the majority of rapiers. It balances the strengths of both weapons.

Occupation: Marius acts as a sword-fighting instructor to the younger children.

Bio: Marius does not come from England. His family originated in Italy, with some English and French married in. Marius gained his first name from his grandfather, a Frenchman, but the majority of his blood is Italian (thus his name Dante). However, no one really knows why he or his family came to England.

The Dante family was rich back in Italy, making its wealth from inheritance from long since faded royal blood as well as providing many skilled blacksmiths and merchants. One day, though, the Dante family dissappeared from their homes across Italy. A few baring the legendary name arrived in England not 20 years ago. Marius was born in England by these remnants of the Dante clan.

Marius never knew the wealth of his predecessors, or just a small fraction of it. He never knew the peace, the comfort, and the ease of their lives. The family he had was torn up from their regal roots and cast into a lower-class life. His father was a merchant of slightly above average standing, pulling enough money to feed the family and provide a few extras, but not much.

Though Marius never knew ease and comfort and riches, he knew something far more lasting. Due to his foreign blood and, more importantly, his strange silver hair, he was ridiculed and looked down upon by the people of his village. He was at first simply sad and angry at the ridiculers, but eventually degressed into bitterness and pessimism. His outlook grew worse when he learned of the Dante family's former standing. This proved to him that there could be no loving God in the world.

Marius eventually learned to mask his pain with arrogance and pride. He took pride in what he had, and made himself feel better about himself in every way possible. He never lets anyone talk down to him, always tearing apart their self-esteem instead with his wit and brilliance.

Marius was made more proud by being selected to become a Child of God, but fights against the belief of God. He fights against the darkness not to save the world or serve what he percieves as a cruel God, but to potentially find out the history of his family and the truth behind the destruction of the Dante.

Personality: Brittany doesn't try to be cold and silent, it was just the way she was raised. She tries her hardest to make friends with others, but her hard, sorrow filled eyes makes people turn from her. She has a kind heart that can be hurt easily. She does have a dark side that resides within her.

Weapon: She carries a sword across her back and one on her right hip. Oh her left thigh she has a pack with at least ten daggers all with a blue jay feather on the end of the hilt.

Bio: Brittany's parents were always protective, a little to protective. They belived strongly in God and lived for him, hoping their daughter would be the same. One night see couldn't take it anymore, her parents had yelled at her for coming home late. She ran far away, into a dark, deep forest. There something strange happened. Brittany fell asleep from running such a long distance. In her sleep a strange person appeared before her. It talked to her and fead her lies. Brittany never relized this. Becomeing draw to this strange person she allowed it to enter her body and shared her inermost dreams and hatred to it. She then learned that this person was evil. She tried to seal him, but couldn't. Learning to harmeize with him they became strong. She returned home and was beat by her mother for her actions. The evil came out and before Brittany could stop him he had killed her mother and brother who had been watching. Fearing what else she could do she ran again. Her father went after her. Climbing a tree to escape his comferting words she sat on a branch. A nest was there filled with speckled sky blue eggs. As she stared in wonder one of the eggs hatched. Startled Brittany cried, a small chrip made her come to her senses. As she looked down a small ugly, blue bird sat on her leg. Smiling for the frist time in years, she yoke the bird down the tree with her. She was welcomed by her fathers warm grasp. She gazed up at him eys sparkling and told him she had no place for gods now. They ment nothing to her. Her asked her why she said such a think and then noticed that her one of her green eyes had turned blue. He cried, saying he had lost his daughter to evil. The bird chirped on her shoulder as she walked back to their house, her father still wanted her to stay with him no matter what. Brittany named the Blue Jay ,which was now beautiful and had a deep blue coat unlike the other Blue Jays, Braya.

Personality: Very quite and stay to herself. Carmen loves all but she is very shy. She adores children and will do anything to protect them. Her faith in God is very strong. Is very wise and will always help when someone has a problem. She is a very good listener and will be happy to her anyone problem or complaint. Pure of heart and will not judge others on what they have done but what is inside them.

Weapon: Sword; thee hilt is mage out of gold and at top of it is a crucifix. Her blade is made out of iron with another crucifix carved into the blade.

Bio: She was found wandering around lost and frightened at the age of five. She had made her way to England and was taken in by a rich couple. She didn't have a name and could remember anything about herself, only that she was five. The couple gave her the name Carmen.


Carmen thanks God that she has and is very faithful to him. When she turn ten her adopted family placed her in the care of the church. She became a disciple to a priest. A hugs surprise came a to her when she was chosen to be a Child of God. She felt highly honored and told herself she would do a good job.

She opened an orphanage up to give the homeless children a home. Wanting to help children like she was and give them joy in their life like she had.

Apperance: Pious is a rather gross guy. He has two bodies and one backside, and no heads. His skin is a dark green at the arms and legs, but brighter at the back and bodies. Another impossible thing, he has no organs. A gape in his left body shows a hole in his tough skin, showing nothing but bone.

Now, after extensive traning, he can turn into a human form, and another form.

Human: His skin is dark brown, his face has the pocketmarks of battle such as scars and burns. He wears silver centurion armor without the strange head dusting thing on the top. He stands 5'11 and 138 lbs.

2nd Demonform: His arms become wings of torn flesh, and hard as steel. His neck pops a head of nothing but rotten skull and wreched flesh. His body is easily punctured, so he folds his long wings around him. And his eyes glow green when he is angry or casting a spell.

Personality: He is the kind of guy thats like, "O, gods, grant me power and I will serve you eternally. (then whispers:Suckers, I'm going to ditch these losers." So, he's a cold sadiastic bastard. His master's intensions differ from his....

Weapon: When in 2nd demonform, a sythe shoots out from his back and becomes his tail. When in human form, he has a gladius, or roman sword. In his true form, his magick and minions kill the enemy.

Magick: He can summon Zombies that come in 3 fruty flavors:[/COLOR]

Bio: Pious was once a Centurion in the Cezar's army, until he was beckoned by a low woman's voice in the desert wind, [i] "come to us... Personality: Although she still has to learn to judge people according to what her heart tells her, and not by their past mistakes and deeds, Juliette is a most trusting and forgiving person. She believes in all that is true and good, and would gladly sacrifice herself for the greater good, if the occasion arose. She believes that God's children, the silent, wise, and true ones, may some day become Saints and Angels, helping to show the path humanity must take to reach heaven.
She is quite outspoken, but if she needs to, can be quite loud.

She knew the part about the wings was true, but they would be more dove-like, but clawed feet? Juliette took this story as a joke, as it was, but used it as a name for her fancy dagger.

Occupation: Priest's Deciple

Bio: Juliette is a young priestess of the Church. She was sent off by her parents (also heavy believers in God), who didn't want her to live a life of suffering and constant worry, like most peasants.
How wrong they were.
Nothing but pain, suffering and torment have ever entered Juliette's life, so she clings to her belief in God, and that he will one day grant her peace, if only for a short time.
As a young girl, Juliette was quite loud, and sleazy, drunk peasant men from around the streets would ask her innappropriate questions. When she ignored them, they followed her, and made themselves noticed.
The Priests and Priestesses of the Church healed Juliette's wounds and physical scars from these evil-doing men, but Juliette was depressed and frightened because of the mental hurts they had inflicted on her.
When she was 11, the night before her birthday, a Priest came up to her, and muttered a few words in Latin. She didn't understand the last three, and so went to find out what they meant in English.
This search for the missing words drove her on, and she listened intently to all of her lessons, and more so to the Priestess that taught Latin at the time.
Soon, on the day before her 13th birthday, she found the three words she hadn't understood.
She took out a slip of parchment, which she had written the phrase down on, one year earlier, and finished it off.

At first, she didn't quite understand. She had known the latin terms for "torture", "must" and "end". So why was this phrase so important? What did it mean?
She thought hard, trying to think of any torture or pains that she had [i]ever[/i] been through, and there were none she could think of.
The only thing she remembered before that Priest said that latin to her was being sent here to become a Child of God.
The Priest who had told her those few words had cleansed her mind, renewing her trust and belief in God, making sure she stayed firm to her religion, and to make her forget the pain she had been through. This same Priest dropped his dagger that night as he left the library, and later gave Juliette her grandfather's sword.



OOC: I'm just going to clear something up. I am actually a guy (do I roleplay girls that well that I seem like one?), and recently have been RPing female characters for a change of pace.
