RPG Wolf's rain, the search for paradise.

[SIZE=1][CENTER]The white haze still hung above the cityscape. Men bustled with their wives and children seeking their homes with hope of escaping the frigid morning. Few cars sped down the poorly paved streets and no sparrow song could be heard. All of which seemed remedial details of the average human society Monday morning except to her. A woman appearing to be in her early twenty?s sat in a street corner café. The café itself really resembled a bar more than anything else, dust collected on the roughly hewn wood frame, there was but one person working, a tall woman with her raven hair tied back in a greasy bun, her name was Carla ,or at least that?s how her nametag read . Her eyes made their rounds suspiciously dictating the moves of each costumer as they came and went eventually her stare came to match up with the woman sitting silently by the window. The woman returned the vile glare with her own, though her piercing orange eyes where enough to make even the slime from the streets turn away in respectful fear. Her name was Lira and to her these simple details proved that the worlds chaotic end was inevitable, that the human race was collapsing in on itself as the nobles clashed outside the city?s dome for whatever pathetic material reasons they did. Her disguise was practical, her clothes of any middle class citizen here in Freeze city, her hair was a mess of dirty blonde that ended about her shoulders and would occasionally skew her vision. That was perhaps the only part of this guise she despised. Human hair sickened her for whatever reason, one of her few pet peeves. It served no purpose?simply dangled there useless. After a moment of eyeing the café?s owner she turned her gaze else where, outside those steamed up windows to the humans that suffered in the cold. Lira rested an elbow against the windowsill and slipped off lost in thought. *Perhaps if you?d developed some kind of coat instead of those hideous head mops you wouldn?t all be so cold now would you?* She thought to herself only half aware of the argument between a penniless man and Carla, he had apparently eaten and made to skip the bill but couldn?t escape her suspicious glances.[/SIZE][/CENTER]

If you'd like to begin a new adventure, make sure that you've got a full, thought-out background story and a few standards that you want others to meet. If members are interested, they'll sign-up. Only after you've got the response that you're looking for do you move it to the [b]Adventure Arena[/b].

You might want to check out OB's rules if you haven't already. Also read over the stickies at the top of both this forum and in the Recruitment Forum. All of this will help you get a better grasp of what we expect and it'll help keep you out of trouble. ^_~ Welcome to the boards.
