[size=1]I've enjoyed a lot of my time here. Speaking of gory images...I remember yisan [who I kinda pissed off >_>] who posted uum... Lewd images in the Lounge. What a moron. And then I remember Phoenixflames too... which was enjoyable, I must admit.

It is kinda had to believe how much...memorable stuff has happened here, since OB began. It is amazing, actually. Some parts of this community are really close knit, you can tell. I just wish I was more involved here.

And I want something interesting to happen...memories to tell my grandchildren :p[/size]

Oh, members like Sara, and Nerdsey, and Shy, and Baron Samedi, and clowmet, and Nu'dao, and Kittylyn ("Calumon_luver" anyone?)! I loved the Digimon forum so much. It was great. Absolutely great. Just fantastic. Yeah. Definately.


Also wanted to mention:
-Mnemolth. To me, I can't say he was bad, wasn't a saint, either. But he was cool. I felt special when I was the only legitimate vote he gave during the OtakuAwards before last.
-The Charles Vs. Heavens Cloud rap battles. Heh.
-Charles and his colorful usernames. ultra uber cool.
-The Vampire: Ed and THE CRACKER CLUB. BUWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Some things that happened to me:
-Well, I met a lot of people and had a lot of fun, but specifically, Kevin (Rick Hunter), and JCBaggee (Chris: *plugs shamelessly* Oooh! LOOK AT MY SIGGY AND CLICK!). Why? Because those lead to otherboard times, for me.
I guess, in a sense, that OB is like a train or subway station. It is a crossroads of sorts. You meet new people which starts new friendships. You get to other boards you enjoy. So even if you don't like it, you can't deny that it hasn't lead to new opportunities. *sighs*[/color]

Another thing Warlock's post made me remember were the Reploid rpgs he Flash started. I jumped on the bandwagon a little late in that regard, but still had a lot of fun.

Another great spam fest was the My Picture forum...that gave rise to quite a few problems I believe.

Though, reading ReFlux's posts, I remember the one great negative about moderating the Battle Area. Reading through rap battles is very, very tedious.[/font][/color]

My favourite times have to be:

-My debut as "Dan Lucking" on OB version 2, where I insulted everyone, thimoc said I was cool, thus I took it all back and hung around for a while. I always kind of had a soft spot for thimoc after that, despite his status as a notorious spammer..

(Unfortunately that "while" was only really 2 weeks or so, until I eventually came back later in the year, when OB was well into version 3.)

-Coming back as "Deus_Ex_Machina", and the various spelling mistakes that came when others tried to write my name (my favourite is "Deuche"). Also Heaven's Cloud thinking that it said "Deu Sex Machine" :p

-Radically changing my character completely in August 2002, when I returned to OB from the university holidays, having become a Christian. I remember James saying I seemed kind of holy and I thought "what.. how on Earth has that happened?"

-The aforementioned 300ft potato incident, followed by screen names, otakucard, and various other merchandising

-Random Crazy chats with Solo, Duo Maxwell, Rain, and Red

-Being [i]the[/i] first otakuite to actually put a comment feature in my blog :p (blog, as in those things we all used before the days of myotaku) . Though I don't think many people know that.

-Completely missing the kuja banning scandal despite it going on beneath my very nose; eventually figuring out what went on by peicing bits together.

-(Not technically an OB memory) Back on Nerdsy's boards, back in the day, telling people that I'd just become a Christian and two people called "Cera" and "Ginnylyn" praising God for that. Various encounters with those two people in many different forms since that point.

-Various deep and not-so-deep conversations with the one and only Solo Tremaine

This one? If so, that was also in my Precious Moments post. I was too mean to that kid (it was actually worse, I edited it and toned it down). I took a lot of frustrations out on him, but I think it's safe to say that he'd never be a positive aspect of this site anyway. Who knows though.

How could I not remember you guys, lol. When I first came here, most of my time was spent at the Digimon forum. I absolutely loved Devidramon's rants. I even saved the rant that he made when he was explaining the difference between Pokemon and Digimon, that was my favorite one. Wasn't there a member that tried to create a real digital world?
