Ezekiel
Animus ?Innocence is like a dove; white and pure yet so easily broken.? These were the words spoken by the high Priest Esmund to his dutiful pupils. They were few now the select disciples that had managed to overcome the horrific trails of life in Medieval Britain. All had excelled in their own fields, fighting their way through both the physical and mental torture inflicted upon them everyday. Covered by the name of ?Tests? these sadistic challenges were no more than a means of elimination, a sick idea formed by the leaders of the Church based on the theory of, ?Only the strong will survive.? These victims, only children at the time, were being prepared for a great occurrence. Their generation was the unlucky one. These were the warriors, the ones to save the lives of many from the approaching Darkness?. the children of God and the protectors of Heaven. Now many years have passed since the chosen had begun their training and the time of the predicted war is swiftly approaching. Creatures of Heaven, Hell and Earth are starting to build up their forces for what could be an apocalypse. The only hope for human kind now is 6 teenagers; each blessed with their own powers and will to fight. As Dragons, Elves, Demons and Angels prepare, the young hero?s train until they bleed. To survive you must fight, to fight you must train and in battle you may well die?all for a cause that you may not believe in, are you still willing to risk it all? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blair woke up suddenly from another haunting nightmare, the same one kept coming back to her and she was loosing needed sleep over it. She sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes, tiredness was still weighing her mind down but she knew she wouldn?t be able to go back to sleep now, the words were still ringing in her ears, God, save my daughter She shook her head and reached for the matches on her bedside table. She managed to find them and lit one, casting shadows upon the rest of the room. Blair lit all the candles and climbed out of bed, making sure she didn?t step on the creaking floorboards, the Priests needed all the sleep they could get. The birds had just started to sing and Blair opened the curtains to welcome a new dawn, but what she saw was not welcoming. Dark clouds littered the sky and blocked out what little light could be shining through, Blair frowned, "The new age is coming..." she pulled the curtains shut, a dark foreboding sky was not what she wanted to see. Not yet.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay! Engel
Pious never slept, he couldn't. His dull grey eyes flashed green, and he transformed into a human. It was time to investigate a cathedral at the end of the town limits. His satanic monsters had been killing off all of the bishops and bringing Pious their bodies. He needed to contact his Misstress, so he walked to the giantic bone pillar, and his eyes flashed green once again. "Xel'lotah! Bankorok! Santak! Paragon! Paragon! Paragon! Paragon!" And his Magick pool was placed upon a pond of blood, seeping into crevases of the earth, corroding, killing. A reddish eyelid opened in the green magick pool, revealing a huge iris with the entire cosmos in the pupil. It fell like sand through an hourglass, only to reveal another eyes behind it. It spoke, the great voice only in his head. Xel 1: What is it Pious? Xel 2: (in a sinster whisper) Yes, Pious. What? Pious: I bring great news, m'lady. The Pillar of Flesh is being constructed as you wished. Its being built in place of the cathedral at the edge of town. Xel 1: Good Pious. I will root myself in this world and bring the fell creatures of night awake under my command. Look at the sky. My Darkness comes.. And it was true, dark clouds covered the tops of trees and other places. It had begun. Pious changed into his 2nd demon form, the Guardian. His rotten wings spread, giving flight.
Anne
Carman awoke with a little girl's, about the age of five, hand wrapped in her golden hair. She smiled at the child and carefully removed the hand from her hand. "Morning, Morning Carmen." A boy jumped onto of her. "Good morning Arthur." She laughed and hugged him. Pushing the blanket off her she got up. Her dressed lay on a chair, she walked over to the chair and threw it on. Two more children ran up and hugged her. Making her way towards the kitchen Carmen avoided the playful antics of the smaller children while the older quickly followed behind. Looking at the large table it and its twenty-one empty chairs. She gave a sigh. Inside her orphanage she had twenty children range from the ages one to sixteen and each day a new child was added. She felt bad for the children not having a home so she tried her best to raise them herself. "Carmen comes look outside. The sky looks funny." A small little girl named Emmie pulled on the hem of her skirt. Carmen followed Emmie outside and gasped. "God please protect us all." She said barely above a whisper. Calling out in a loud voice, "Children come in the house now." The six or seven children that were already outside doing their chores dropped what they were doing and ran inside. "Elizabeth, Henry!" She called two of the oldest children. "Keep everyone inside and don't answer the door for anyone. I have to go to the church." Grabbing a brown wool cloak of a peg she put it around herself. Running at her top speed she made her way to the church.

Flo
Brittany awoke suddenly her face weat. She rasied her hand and felt her smooth, wet skin. She tasted a salty mosture as she licked her lips. A brid chirped and she turned her head towards the sound. A small blue jay sat on her side table tilting its head at her. " Good morning, Braya." She said softly smiling. Something doesn't feel right. a male voice said inside her head. Braya gave a worried chirp and flew to the window jumping up and down. What do you mean Ranpu?( Ranpu is the evil within her. Even though he's evil he cares for her.) Go to the bird, I think she understands more than I do. God's animals can sence when somethings wrong. Brittany stood up and walked over to Braya moving her green hair out of the way of her blue eye to allow Ranpu to see what Braya wanted them to see. Dark evil looking clouds blocked the rising sun. Not even a ray shone through the thick black clouds. That evil doesn't comfert me. I fear it. Nodding Brittany moved her hair back infront of her blue eye. Turning and grapping her clothes she quickly changed and filled her side leg pack and grapped ten daggers. Placing her sword in her sheath on her right hip. She placed her last sword, the one she rarely used because in was the one she had killed her mother and brother with, on her back. Turning towards the door with Braya on her head she raced towards the door. " Going somewhere." A voice asked from behind her. " Dad! I was, I mean, everything." Brittany stumbled over the correct way to tell her father what she was meaning. " I know go do what you have to do. The darkness brings fear to me. Be careful though." " I will." Brittany walked out into the shadowed area. She turned and looked at the house frowing she turned back around and ran toward the church seeking answers, Braya flying beside her.
inti
Juliette was sitting in the library, toying with the Talon of St. Michael while reading her favourite story. Moses was about to part the waters of the Red Sea and lead his people to freedom. "What've you got there?" someone startled her out of the trance she was in. "Samuel, what have I told you about sneaking up on me like that?!" she shrieked. The boy, even though he was three years older, shied away, taken aback at Juliette's sudden outburst. Usually she would just quietly tell him off and move into another corner with her book, but something must have been on her mind. "I'm sorry about that. I don't know what came over me. What was it you wanted?" she asked calmly. "What's that knife you've got there?" he asked. "The Talon of St. Michael." she said. At Samuel's shocked expression, she laughed quietly. "It's not really an item related to the Saint himself, I just named it that. Remember the fable about angels with talons?" Samuel nodded, "So you used a fairytale to name your fancy dagger?" "Yep." Juliette shivered. "What's wrong?" Samuel asked. She shrugged at him, "All of a sudden everything felt so dark and cold." "Well dawn's just breaking, and there's no doubt that you've been in here all night reading your favorite Bible passage again! Let's get outside into the sun and warm up." he suggested. Juliette nodded. A few minutes later, the two burst out of the Church doors to an inviting... "Darkness..." "What?" Samuel asked, a little confused at what Juliette had said. Then he looked up at the sky, and then at their surroundings. "It's the darkness that I felt down in the library. That's why I felt so cold and alone." she told her friend. "I feel it too, let's get back inside." he said, now shivering. Juliette stayed for a minute, then said "Let's." Samuel turned to go in, but Juliette stood firm, holding herself tightly. She looked worried, and scared, like something bad had just happened to her. "Come on Juliette, let's go. I don't like it out here. Let's go tell the Father and Head Priestess about this morning dark." They turned and went back inside, but not before Juliette saw a flash of grey dart across her vision. OOC: The "flash of grey" will reveal itself to Juliette, and it's nothing big. Just a pet companion for the young girl :p
Ezekiel
Blair walked down the corridor of the Church, trying to find someone else to share her worries with. She heard voices and when she rounded a corner she was greeted by two of her friends, Juliette and Samuel. Juliette smiled when she saw Blair and Samuel waved, just then Blair saw a flash and Juliette sighed, "I'll see you at breakfast, Blair, I'm sure there will be a discussion about...." she motioned towards the window; obviously she was talking about the strange state of the sky. The younger girl then left, she seemed to be following a shadow. Blair shrugged and walked towards the library, she had a worried look on her face and she had forgotten all about Samuel. "Wait up!" he called and he started to run after her. Blair whirled on her heel, one of her long fingers pressed to her pink lips. "You'll wake Father Esmund if you aren?t careful." she hissed, Samuel blushed, the second girl to tell him off in the span of 10 minutes. The red head flicked her hair and she continues on her way to the Library with Samuel following obediently behind. When they passed one of the side entrances the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard. Samuel looked up and Blair shifted her green eyes in the direction of the sound. A girl, one year younger than the both of them, was running up the path, a little Blue Jay flying beside her. "Ah, Brittany," Blair started as she started to walk slowly towards the girl, "So, you feel it too?" The girl stopped and rested her hands on her knees, panting from her long run. Blair brushed back some her from her eyes and led the new arrival in, Samuel took Braya. The two girls walked, talking about what could be happening to their world when the Church bell rang. That was the sign for a meeting; the Children of God were being called together. OOC All the 6 kids need to get to the Church and into the library for a meeting in their next post, it will basically be a discussion about what is happening, so feel free to have your character voice their opinions based on their beliefs.
inti
OOC: I couldn't wait for someone else, my turn again! :babble: IC: Silently the darkness comes, Sneaking through the lands. Be careful child, for this power Is held in the wrong hands. A poem long lost whispered its way into Juliette's head, making her wonder where she could have heard such a dark, warning verse, and what sort of a significance it had at all. The young girl walked swiftly through the corridors of the Church, wondering what to do, what Blair or Samuel would do. Or were doing. The library... a gust of wind twisted around from the next corner and rushed past Juliette's ears. "Maybe I should check the library. One of the books might shed some light on that unnatural grey cloud that's out there." she said to herself. The young girl turned back to find her way to the library, and as she turned, she saw the little flash of grey she'd seen outside. "Hello?" she turned back, "Is there anyone there?" Juliette shrugged and moved on. When she reached the front of the Church, where Blair and Samuel had been earlier, she saw another flash. "Samuel, is that you? Stop it...please?" Don't be afraid Juliette, it's me. the wind whispered past. "Who are you? What is it you're here for?" Juliette began to worry. I'm here to help you. Look up in the corner of the ceiling. Juliette looked up and, sure enough, found where the voive had come from. Up in the corner, where the ceiling and walls met, there was a small grey owl, no bigger than Juliette's fist. Let's go to the library. Once this strange darkness has been sorted out, I'll tell you who I am, and why I am here, and what that strange verse you heard was about. the little grey owl fluttered down the corridor and seemed to vanish into the ever-growing shadow. Juliette stood there for a moment. Well, don't just stand there, hurry up! Juliette snapped out of it and ran down the corridor towards the library.
Anne
Carmen headed for the church but in her hurry she forgot her sword. "JUst great!" She headed back towards the orphanage. As she come to the front door of the place it opened and a head peeked out. "I thought I told you to keep this door closed at all times." She said between gasps of breath. "But you forgot this Carmen." A small hand held out her sword. "see we knew you would come back." "Thank but this time don't open it okay." She leaned down and kissed the child on the forehead. With that she was making her way to the church again. See the church Steeple just ahead of her she began to come to a jog. She reaches the doors and went into a walk. She opened the door and walked down towards the alter. She went on one knee and prayed for a second. Standing up she headed for the library. He saw Blair, Juliette and Sammuel there. She took a seat and slowly caught her breath.
