1) Don't attach pictures that have nothing to do with your posts.

2) If you plan on staying around on OB, I suggest you work on your typing skills. Using proper grammar and English is one of the basic rules around here, which I suggest you take a look at.

3) As for your question, cine-manga is basically, just as you said, a movie book. They pretty much take screenshots from the show and add captions and speak bubbles of actual dialouge from the show. Not much different from any of the other movie graphic novels that have come out in the past, just with anime instead.

Also, both Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away both have their own series of graphic novels currently available from Viz Communications.

Tyson, wanna be a boot licker?

Anyways, CineManga is a movie manga. Which is pretty horrible. Since some nutjob from TokyoPop decided to sell The Simple Life CineManga. -_-;;;;

While you go TokyoPop-bashing, this is another reason why CInemanga is very bad.

Watcha the videos, not the manga version, please.

CineManga is just another way America is trying to wiggle into the manga market. The idea seems cool, but when I saw these at the bookstore, I was rather disturbed when I saw not only Inuyasha in this format (it's not bad, but the manga is better, and cheaper), but Lizzie McGuire, Jackie Chan Adventures, and SpongeBob. Um...Tokyopop, isn't manga supposed to be drawn? o_O
*Is still disturbed by seeing Lizzie McGuire with Tokyopop's label on it*

I noticed that earlier today when i went to buy some manga. Whats up with that?

Anyway, just as Lady Katana already stated, CineManga is basically manga, but with screenshots. There are several bad things about them.
1, the fact that manga is cheaper.
2, the fact that you could just go rent the movie and watch it and get even better results than a book with screeenshots.
3, pictures with subtitles doesnt exactly amuse anyone.

on the upside,
1, i guess if you dont have a dvd player, you can catch what the movie is like.
2, theyre great for trying to draw the characters, scenes,etc etc

Cinemagna is really stupid I was looking at Tokyopop yesterday and I saw that they had a That's So Raven magna. It's not even concidered a real magna. Why even bother? :flaming:
