RPG Megaman Net Warrior: Uplink

The world, once again, has been saved by the duo of Lan Hikari and his navi,
Megaman.EXE... Peace at last? Let us hope so...

For some time, the world was experiencing a sort of blind peace... But the officials, not to mention a select few antagonists believed otherwise. They saw the truth. WWW?
Gospel? No. A nameless organization who had began to conquer smaller portions of the net, in the attempt to keep eyes off them. Unfortunately, their plans came to an abrupt halt when a heroic red navi cut down their plans.

But was it over? Not by a long shot. Do villains ever give up? Instead of ceasing their
plans, they began to think bigger. What were they to do? If Protoman could destroy entire populations of theirs once, surely he could do it again. So, instead of merely rebuilding, they invented a special sort of program. One that harnesses the data of previously defeated Navis, and uses said power to enhance the capabilities of their own Navis. An army of Fortes. If Protoman would attack again, they would be ready...

"Sir... Scouts across the net have informed us that Protoman is sweeping back this way. Every virus that we send to stop him he destroys... What can we do?"

A flash of red sliced through the darkness on a screen. Several viruses were destroyed at every swing of the blade.

"Release our first experiment."

"But sir-"

"Do it."

"... Yes sir..."

Suddenly, Protoman stopped moving and just stood there in an apparent horror. A red wave travelled through the air and sliced through him.

"Protoman deleted."

The shadowy figure rose from his seat and began to walk away.

"See to it that we get a copy of Protoman's data in order to enhance our first experiment further."

The sound of a door sliding aside occured, and the man disappeared into the light.

Okay, class dismissed! Don't forget to do your homework over the summer!"

Lan walked out of the school with his hands cupped behind his head. The summer didn't seem as exciting as it did before. He knew what would happen. Unknown terror would come to try and take over the world. Hopefully something could brighten up his day...

"Lan... We've got a new e-mail from Chaud. Open it?"

"Sure. Always good to get mail."

A video message began on the screen of Lan's PET. Chaud appeared, and he looked
distressed.

"Lan... Hopefully you get this message before you decide to go exploring the net...
Protoman and I went exploring deeper into the net to investigate the strange happenings.
When we got through to close to the Undernet, I found a virus navi... It took the image of a dark version of Protoman."

A picture of the evil Protoman appeared, then disappeared into static on the screen.

The message ended with that.

"Megaman, let's hit the net! We'll collect the remnants of Protoman's data for rebooting."


"Where's the rest of his data?"

Megaman searched the area, finding only shattered pieces of data... Not enough, however.

"They'll have to reconstruct the rest of his body... That's alright though. Mr. Perfect
should have no trouble."

Megaman collected the pieces and logged out.

"The blue navi collected the rest of the data."

A grim smile spread across the shadowy face of the apparent leader.

"I see... Well... Our plan is falling together. How are the upgrades coming?"

"25% complete."

"After installing the Get Ability program we extracted from Forte's data, it will be able to progress automatically... Possibly passed his limit."

The smile broadened on the man's face.

"Perfect."

[COLOR=SeaGreen] Leon walked through the now empty school building at the edge of ACDC town. He was looking for some chips that people may of left behind, but to no avail. He walked out of the school and a message came from Chaud to him. Leon said to Zero,

"I wonder what Chaud is doing, he's usually virus busting. Well, lets open the mail." And the little envolope opened and then dissapeared, not showing the message. In a rather happy voice, Leon grinned at Zero and said,

"The postman wasn't all that nice, lets hunt him down." And returned to a school computer. He jacked in, but over 50 viruses were crowded at the entrance. In a dissapointed voice, Leon said to Zero,

"C'mon, jack out. We need some help. Let's Mail our friends to see if they can help."

"Alright, but can I get that BIG one right over there?" Zero said, pointing to a FireSwordy. With a chuckle, Leon said,

"Go get it, Zero." And then, Zero headed off to destroy the sword wielding virus. (As Zero) Zero walked across the heavy metal like floor of the School Net. The Swordy was swinging at Zero even before he tried to engage it. With a grunt, Zero pulled out his Z-Saber and went into battle. He dashed up to FireSwordy and took a swing at it's armored head, then got a message from Leon.

"Zero, need any chips?"

"Sure."

"Sending Data!" And His chips went to Zero's recently inactive Z-Buster. A giant Cannon appeared and blasted the Swordy in half. It faded and then Zero grabbed the chip it left behind. A longSword. He jacked out and then Leon mailed to all of the people knew besides Lan, because he was out of town. He told them to meet at the school.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

OOC: So, you all of you meet at the school so we can jack in and get the dissaperaring mail.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Imi's PET bleeped as she walked down the path from school to get back home. She looked down and was surprised to see it was Leon who was mailing her.

"I wonder what he wants?" Archer spoke up in a croaky voice, he had obviously been disturbed by the annoying bleep.
"Well, I won?t know until I open it...." Imi opened the mail and read the message,
"We've got a problem, come to the school and jack in, Leon."

Imi sighed and whirled on her heel, heading back towards the school where she had just come from.
'I wonder if Chaud will be there?"' she smiled as she thought and quickened her pace. Archer rolled his eyes, he knew what she was thinking,
"Stop obsessing, Imi, you're turning into one of those anime fangirls...."
Imi pulled tongues and gave a little peace sign as she walked into the computer room.

"Hey Leon!" she called to her friend who was right at the other end of the room, he smiled back and waved to her,
"Hopefully the other will be getting here soon." he said in a concerned voice.
Imi looked at him, "Well, what's the problem[/COLOR]

It had only been a year since her brother had died from her own lack of action, but it seemed more like seven. Swimming was the only way she could forget about the mistake she had made, forget that little Chomei was dead, and forget about her search for the navi they call the "Blue Wonder." It was her own special form of an escapism. The chlorine filled water was an antidote to her pain. She reached the other end of the pool, and kicked off again. But she was soon brought back to reality by a steady beeping. She stopped and climbed to the ladder of the pool. Grabbing her towel and drying off, Kioko walked over to the source of the beeping, the PET that her father had made for her. Even if her PET was in another building, she would still be able to hear that beeping because of the special cybernetic connection she had with it. She picked it up and pressed a button.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"What is it, Captain?"[i] She asked.[/i][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1][i]The face of a red-haired, female navi appeared on the screen of the PET. Kioko had designed it after her old navi and her brother's navi, were both destroyed. Kioko doesn't know why she named it Captain. It might have been because the skull on her armor gave her a piratey look, but it was probably just because she liked the sound of the name.[/i][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"You have mail from Leon. He said he wants you to meet him at the school. He has something urgent to tell you. Do you want me send a reply saying that you're busy?"[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]Kioko shook her head.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"No, that's alright, Captain. Tell him I'll be right there."[i] She answered.[/i][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"Sure thing, Kioko."[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]Captain's face disappeared from the screen, and Kioko went to the locker room to change.[/color][/size][/font][/i]

[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]After she had finished changing, Kioko put her small backpack over her shoulder and rode off on her bicycle.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"I don't know what's up, but Leon had better have a good reason for making me come to school during the summer."[/color][/size][/font]

[left][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]After she had finished making sure her bike was locked up tight, Kioko walked into the school's computer room where Leon had said to meet him. Besides Leon, there was a girl from school that Kioko had a few classes with but never talked to her. Kioko walked up to the girl and shook her hand.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/left]
[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"Hi. I'm Kioko Takahashi."[i] She said.[/i][/color][/size][/font][/left]

[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#4169e1]"So, Leon. What was that urgent thing you were talking about?"[i] She asked.[/i][/color][/size][/font][/left]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Maura sat in the front of the classroom near the door, her light brown hair was speard put on the dest top. Shighing and taking a glance at the clock to see how much longer detection was going to be.[I] Twenty minutes crap! I hate the last of school detection.[/I] Her PET beeped and Maura looked to see where the teacher was. Luckly for her the teacher was across the room yelling at a pair of girls for passing notes during detection. Grapping the PET and stopping the beeping before the old, balding, male teacher noticed. Text appeared across the screen saying: You have mail!! Maura pushed a button and her navi green hair and two colored eyes appeared. Maura said softly," Hey Mizu who's the mail from? And be quite about it!"
" It's from Leon he said to meet at the school computer room."
" Well I'm already in the school, just need to get out of this room."
" Don't do anything that could get you in trouble."
" I won't. Or at least I'll try not to."
" Maura!"
Turning the PET off Maura saw that the teacher was now reading the note out loud. Seeing this as her chance she got up and slug her pack over her shoulder and walked to the door. Opening it slowly eyes on the teacher at all times. Maura toke a deep breath as she stood outside the room. Turning the PET back on she smiled and gave Mizu an ok sign. Running down to the computer room. She saw Leon and some other people already there.
" You now your lucky I was still in the building Leon. Or I may of not even come."
" Where where you in the building anyway?" Leon asked.
" Detection. I still had at least twenty minutes left but oh well." She said shrugging.[/COLOR]

[B][I][COLOR=Teal]Kit was sitting in a classroom scribbling something on a piece of a paper. Her glasses were slipping off her her nose as she yawned.

"This is the most boring Art Club ever," Kit thought to herself. Her PET suddnly started beeping. Kit raised an eyebrow and looked over at it as Kattaco appeared on the screen. She looked a little annoyed. The anooying beeping most have been getting to her.

"It's Leon," Kattaco said as her tail twitched, "I wonder what he could want." Kit shook her head and grabbed her PET and looked at her new mail. A look of slight disappointment crossed her face.

"We have to meet him in the Computer Room," Kit said as she quietly stood up. Kattaco nodded as Kit grabbed her back pack and started sneaking out of the classroom.

After a few mintues of running down the empty hall, Kit reached the Computer Room. She opened the door to discover Leon, Maura, Imi, and Kioko in there already.

"Oh darn," Kit thought as she started walking in, "No Lan! Oh well, I think I can survive." Everyone looked at Kit as she leaned up against a nearby table.[/COLOR][/I][/B]

As everyone walked through the door, Chaud stepped in. Leon walked over and said, "Hey, how's it going, bro?" Chaud gave him the serious face and then grinned.

"Fine, but I wish Protoman was here. Did you get my mail?" Chaud said as he sat next to Leon. The girls looked at Leon and Chaud in awe. They ignored it, but it was strange. Chaud was usually arrogant and the "I can kick you butt into the ground before you get a chip out" kinda guy.

"No, it dissapeared into the net. I called you all here because, even though Zero and I can kick almost any virus' butts we meet, there is over.... 100 crowded at the doorway. Oh, and Chaud is my brother. I forgot to tell you? Our mother set us me up for adpotion because she couldn't handle another child. Chaud, you can use my first Navi, Blaze Heatnix." And then Leon took a small chip out and put it in Chaud's PET. Blaze Heatnix appeared, then, Chaud said,

"Well, Reis isn't here, but we should start anyway." Then he jacked into the computer. Leon followed suit and said to the girls

"You coming or what?"[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=SlateGray]Imi looked at Chaud as he came in and just stared, he waved to her and she nodded back slowly,
Chaud came over just before he jacked in, "So, how?s your dad?" he asked.
Imi shook her head, "Oh, he's fine, how ar---"
"Are you coming or what?" Leon interrupted her. She put her hands on her hips and pouted, Chaud shrugged and jacked in.

Kioko looked from Imi to Chaud and shook her head as she smiled, she jacked in, then Maura, then Kit and finally Imi.

Archer appeared on the screen in front of Imi and gave her a reassuring thumbs up,
"We'll beat these quick and easy, right, Zero?"
Zero nodded and Leon grinned, "Well then, Zero, let's show these girls what we can do, Chip in! Z-buster...power up!" (Is that right?)
Zero's arm glowed and a cannon appeared on his arm, Imi smirked and took out a chip,
"Okay then, Archer, it?s your turn! Chip in, Energy Arrow, Power up!"
Archer smirked and a bow appeared in his hand. He set it up and pulled back on the string, as it was taught an energy arrow appeared,
"See ya later." he smirked as he shot the arrow at the viruses, about 4 were taken out at once but they kept on coming,
"C'mon girls, let's show them who's best!" Imi cheered, punching the air. The other girls all cheered with her and pulled out their chips. Chaud looked at Leon and rolled his eyes, Leon nodded and replied,
"Women."[/COLOR]

[B]OOC OMG! Chaud! *faints*[/B]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Maura pulled the cord on her PET and jack in to the computer. She pulled out a chip and held it up.
" Mizu you want Water Blaster?"
" Ya that's fine! Mizu said as she slashed through a virus with her weapon, Blade of Dispair.
" Okay then! Water Blaster..... Power Up!' Mizu's other arm glew with a deep blue hue. She but her blade on her back and amied at a group of fire type viruses and fired a blast of water at a the group destroing five of them. She filpped back and kicked another virus destroing it too. Maura kept her eyes on the viruses though she did glance up and give the guys and thumbs up, " Who are trying to show off to?" Turning back to the screen, she watched Mizu blast a few more virues with ice or snow and thick jets of water. [/COLOR]

With a grin, Leon said to Zero, "Lets show them our REAL power! Renojuzekn!" And then, Zero stopped and pulled his Z-Saber out and dashed though ten enemies and then ten more, then ten more. Pulling to a stop, Leon had Zero explain.

"Remember, I come from Megaman X6. I'm equipped with Renojuzekn, or Dash Slash. Let's have a contest. Whoever destroys more viruses gets half of all dropped chips. I've gotten thirty, how many do you have? Oh, and none from before my Renojuzekn count. I'm not counting mine from before it, so, If I loose, then I don't care." And then he dashed away, to kill three swordys.

"Zero, need a chip?"

"Can I have the new one, LongSword?"

"Yep, Transmitting Chip!" Then, A giant blade appeared in Zero's Z-Buster, which turned into a hand. Grasping it, He cut down the three Swordys. He had killed 33 viruses.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

OOC: There is going to be a LOT of chips, around 20-30. I have 33 destroyed. Feel free to make any special attacks up, like when Zero is at full health he can use Renojuzekn. I'll post the standings after everyone tells me how many they destroyed.

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]"Alright then! It is on!" Imi shouted, pulling out three more chips from her hip-bag.
"Okay then Archer, let's show them....." she got a deep purple chip and pushed it into her PET,
"Special Attack, Gaichuu Kujyo! Fire at will, Archer."

Imi's Navi smirked sinisterly as his bow glowed; it morphed into a massive crossbow and seemed to merge with his forearm. Archer flicked his hair and looked at the virus',
"Burn...." he fired rapid shots of energy beams one after the other from his bow, the virus' squealed as they were deleted and they had stopped multiplying by now.
"Come on, Archer!" Imi cheered again, her Navi was doing serious damage with his long range attack, the virus' never even had a chance to get near him.
He was getting tired though, you would too if you had a massive weapon attached to your arm. Imi frowned and pulled out the battle chip,
"Okay, Archer, you've done a lot of damage. Good job."
her Navi smiled and watched the others fight,
"That's 30 I just destroyed, including the 4 from before....."
Zero looked at Archer and smiled, "Giving you a grand total of 34, congratulations."

Imi smiled happily, "Prodigious!"[/COLOR]

[Cysword6]

Mizu was fighting away 8 viruses at a time but was quickly getting overtaken. Out of nowhere a white light slashed through all of them.

"Hey guys need any help?," a voice asked out of nowhere. "Reis, I was wondering when you would get here," Chaud said. "Yeah great to see you too," he answered sarcastically.

"Ok Eclipse are you ready to do this?" he asked looking at the others. "I've been ready since we got the email, let's just get rid of these guys already I want to go back to sleep," he replied pulling out his sword.

"Ok transmitting chip........Lunar Slash," he yelled, as the sword Eclipse was holding transformed into a bright black one with lunar carvings. He shot a crescent into the sky as it began to rip through the viruses. He succesfully chopped through 5 of them sending their data flying.

"Whoa I feel so much power," Eclipse said as his armor began to glow, "Blade Tornado" he yelled slicing through another 10.

OOC: wow can't believe the fight already started and Blade Tornado is a special attack.

[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]Kioko and Captain were falling behind in their virus killing. If the viruses they had already killed counted, then they wouldn't have a problem catching up. But since that wasn't the case, they were going to have to push it. Three viruses jumped in front of Captain. She took them all out with her Seeking Electromagnetic Shots. Kioko smiled. She could see the whole battle through Captain's eyes because of her cybernetic implants.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]"Get ready, Captain. Here's some more chips!"[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]Captain took the Hammer chips and used them on five viruses that were coming after her. Four were easily destroyed, but the fifth one dodged it and shot something at Captain. In the real world, Kioko winced.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]"No...it couldn't be...Could this be the same thing that happened to Chomei?"[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]Before the virus could do any more harm, Captain deleted it with a Brnzfist chip. She lay down on the battlefield to catch her breath, but she didn't get very much time. Soon, twenty viruses surrounded her. She struggled to get up.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[color=royalblue][font=Book Antiqua][size=2]"Kioko, what should I do?" [i]She asked.[/i][/size][/font][/color]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]"Well I didn't want to use it this early, but you'd better use the Magnetic Pole attack."[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]Captain nodded.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]"Right!"[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]She then hit her palms against the ground and a tall metal pole came out in front of her. It started sparkling like lightning and all twenty viruses were pulled in and destroyed. That wasn't the end however, there were still plenty of enemies left. Kioko knew that they had to end this soon or else she might get hurt herself. However, she couldn't let the other's know what happened or they might not let her fight anymore.[/color][/size][/font][/i]

Leon saw Kioko wince at the same time her Navi was hurt. His mind snapped it together, the same thing that happened to her brother might happen to her. He contacted Zero and said,

"Zero, I want you to forfit your chips and go to X6 mode. Just trust me. I know we need triple of each chips to get you back to EXE mode, but you can use all of the attacks you use from X6." And with that, Zer nodded and began to glow a purple color. His buster went online, and all of his latent abilities. He smiled. He was in his element.

"What should I do, Leon?"

"You need to help Captain, so do a Guard Shell around her. I'll give you more instructions later." And then Zero dashed over to Captain and yelled,

"GUARDIAN SHELL!" And a ball of purple light formed around Captain. He go ready to use his attack Hydroza, and jumped on to the celiing and stayed there. With every swing of his blad, Ice struck his enemies, and he killed 5 more before falling off.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

"A contest is it okay then! Water Cannon...Power Down!" Mizu pulled her sword off her back and lunged at some viruses and slashed five of them. Maura put the one chip back and pulled out two others.
" Get ready Mizu! Zetsumei Sword and Marine's Gift combo!" The Blade of Dispair faded and a long broad sword appeared in Mizu's right hand and a curved sword with water swirling around the blade appeared in her left. Smiling she ran at a large group of viruses and destroyed them all(15).
" FROZEN WAVE!!" Mizu shouted sending a giant wave of ice at another group of viruses(10) and smiled, flipping back her hair.
" Great going Mizu!"[/COLOR]

"Alright, All of the little viruses were destroyed! Wait....." And then, a strange Navi dug through the net floor, and jumped in front of the mail! It was covered in drills, and was granite in color. What you could see of its body was blocky, like legos or bricks. He didn't say anything, but dashed forward with his drills on at amazing speed. Zero jumped to the side and then yelled,

"Meteor Rain!" And then, giant balls of hail, about the size of a computer moniter homed after the Navi at a lightning speed. They smashed into his back and made his drills stop, but didn't look like it did any lasting damage. Zero and Captain nodded to each other and rushed GroundMan.[/COLOR]

[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]"Where do you think it is?" She asked Zero.[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=royalblue]Then she noticed the look on his face. She turned around, the virus was right behind her. Zero shot at it while she was still charging and it tunneled underground again.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
