Lady_Sango
okay...i love this movie its so awesome! anyone who hasn't seen it, i strongly reccomend it. my favorite scene is probably when they have that big discussion about the smurfs. lmao the ending song though is the best (mad world). i have it as an mp3, its great. don't you just want to kill that lady (the one who thinks that the world is divided into love and fear. and that there is no inbetween.) sorry, i forgot her name, so you'll have to identify her by that.^ anywho, if u've seen it u can comment, if u haven't, then u must rent it! ja ne
Rhym
The dad is the best. The scene where Donny and his parents are meeting with the principle and that one lady, where she says "He told me to forcibly that book into my anus!" and the dad just bursts out laughing. Great movie. Truly brilliant.

PiroMunkie
yeh, donnie darko rocks my world.
Please do not make pointless, one-sentence posts. You know, given the movie, I would think the conversation here would be a bit deeper than just, "omG, this movie iz SOOO kewl! ^_^;" but oh well. There has been a topic about this before, but it is a good movie. I remember being in a chat with people like James, Tony(Semjaza), and some other people talking about the different aspects of the movie. I think we were originally talking about different horror movies (though Donnie Darko is not really horror), but that is beside the point. It is the kind of movie where every time you watch it, a new revelation comes upon you and something else about the movie makes that much more sense. Even after watching it numerous times, there are still parts I do not completely understand. I get the idea, but it is just hard to comprehend. It is definitely worth checking out if one has not already, though.
Lady_Sango
sorry about my "pointless, one-sentence" post. when his english teacher told him about "cellar door"....the actual word was celador. they just used cellar door to help the plot, and so that certain things would tie in together. I am rather skeptical about that really. One reason being I just looked up "celador" at Dictionary.com, and it is not even a word. Secondly, when Donnie's English teacher was telling him about it, she said "... of all the possible combinations ..." Combinations means more than one word together, whereas what you said is just one word.
Lady_Sango
the reason why his english teacher said "combinations" was because cellar door is 2 words, unlike the actual word which is only one (celador). they had to make this work in the movie so that it would all work out and tie in together. (dejavu?) as for it not being on dictionary.com........i do not have an excuse or reason for it not being on that site.
