Anime Anime Characters most in need of Queer Eye intervention

I got this idea thanks to a story I'm writing and my 2001 Gundam Wing calandar. But I'd like other opinions as well, who do you think would benefit from a fab5 intervetion?

First and foremost is InuYasha. All he wears is that red thing. His nails need a manicure, his hair probablt has split ends, and he has no shoes. And that's only his clothing problems. He eats too much ramen (his sodium has to be really high by now) and he doesn't really know how to treat Kagome.

Thom would probably make him cut his hair then get his nails done. Ted would teach him how to make some strange food and teach him how to appriciate fine wine. I fear the wine thing would end up like and episode from FY though. Carson would drag the poor hanyou through the streets kicking and screaming to buy new couture. I'd definately tune in if that ever happened.

Second choice is the five pilots from Gundam Wing. Can you blame me? Hiiro with his spandex pants and velcro shoes! Duo and that pair of pants that enhance his hips. Trowa's entire outfit plus his hair! Quatre and that vest and pleated front pants. Wufei well we'll just take a detor there. And of course the rest of the deal.

I think this set up would be ideal though because there are five pilots and five of them.

Finally, Tsukino Usagi from SailorMoon. Bravo's starting up a show where the fab5 makes over women, let's start with her. She's a fashion victim if I've ever seen one. And her hair, she must need a bottle of shampoo to wash it just once. And don't get me started on how her cooking looks.

Besides, after they got done with Usagi, they could move on to Minako.


Well, there are a few of my well thought out choices along with what they'd end up doing to InuYasha. Does anyone else have any ideas?[/color]

I would wholeheartedly agree with you, were the Gundam pilots not quite so familiar with killing. As one Queer Eye fan from a nationful, the tragic possibility of having to read a book or form strong, loving bonds with family because the hosts of this decade's attempt to ingratiate one minority with the WASPy whole were murdered in some sort of indigo-induced irascibility on the part of an adorably imaginary ex-terrorist is all too horrific. (Indeed, it is rumoured that the CIA found evidence of such a plot as recorded in a microfiche lining Saddam Hussein's garters.)

That said, I think there might be minutely less bloodshed if they just went after one of them, say, Quatre. Why Quatre? Certainly not because he's the worst off; he has very tastefully avoided the womens' bike shorts, lethal hairdo, MC Hammer-esque pants and white pyjamas of his comerades in favour of a slightly feminine yet inoccuous pink-and-purple ensemble, much to his credit, and is otherwise well mannered and presumably neat. No, it's probably because he'd be the least likely to pull out a pistol to express his displeasure with a certain fumbling innuendo from his hosts. Simply ask him a philosophical question or have him [spoiler]attempt to kill Trowa while in an unbalanced mental state after the death of his father[/spoiler], and you can (pre)occupy him for countless half-hour installments with his own assorted (and mostly organic) guilt, anguish and angst, making him the perfect victi- er, candidate for the latest Queer Eye!

If they hadn't had 'Queer Eye for the Gay Guy' already, I would have argued that most of the Gundam Wing cast was inelligible for the show.

My top three choices are all villains of varying prominence and cruelty from the shounen anime Hunter x Hunter. In my opinion, Yoshihiro Togashi got just a bit [i]too[/i] creative when he designed their clothing.

[b]Hisoka:[/b] This man is a fashion disaster. He also has a disturbing habit of licking his lips whenever he spies certain prepubescent boys, but I don't think that could be remedied by a mere makeover. There are three or four sequences during the 62-episode series in which Hisoka shows up wearing either a snazzy business suit or nothing whatsoever; the rest of the time, he dons a peculiar pale blue outfit that's so bizarre-looking, it simply defies description. Even bloodthirsty pedophiles deserve better. He also needs to stop spiking his hair--it looks about ten thousand times better when it's down (gotta love those shower scenes). The face paint is a bit excessive, but I could live with that if he fixed everything else.

[b]Illumi Zoaldyeck:[/b] Compared to Hisoka, Illumi isn't all that bad (even though his disguises are terrifyingly hideous). His clothing may be similar to Hisoka's, but overall it's marginally more attractive. The eyeliner, however, needs to go--nothing else can explain why his eyes look so different from those of his brother and father. It gives him a rather raccoonish expression, and while Hisoka probably doesn't care about such things, I doubt Illumi would mind giving people one less reason to suspect that he's secretly a woman. He could also do with some serious lessons in etiquette.

[b]Kuroro Lucifer:[/b] I approve of Kuroro's outfit as well as his personality. The pimp coat probably wouldn't work on anybody else, but it suits him nicely. Yet, like Hisoka, he should learn to lighten up on the gel--he's too attractive for any hairstyle of his to be truly repulsive, but the slicked-back look is getting a little old.

[color=darkviolet]Oh man, you want to talk badly dressed villains? Tomo one of the Seiyruu Seven from Fushgigi Yugi is your guy.

First of all that make up. He looks like a clown on acid. I think we can lose that. The feathers too. Maybe after he got those he could get some real hair. I don't remember much about his clothing, but if his make up was any indication I think Carson would have to bring some smelling salts with him to look at his wardrobe.

Of course I'd recommend that the Queer Eye crew not approach him with out some talismen or what have you. But I'm sure that the whole endever would turn out for the best.[/color]

Pet peeve:

Itachi (Naruto), I have virtually no complaint about him except for the fact that he paints his nail purple (I am hoping that it's a shinobi thing and it's laced with posion) this REALLY annoys me for some reason and totally ruined his image for me. I don't know why it should bother me that much but I sincerely wished that he gets rid of the purple nails (toenails too!).

Gendo Ikari: There is no redeeming feature with this guy, he needs a personality makeover, a fashion make over, electro therapy and FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BUY A NEW GLASS THAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE TIPPED BACK TO THE BRIDGE OF HIS NOSE EVERY 5 MINUTE!!!!

ahem, anyways, he is REALLY screwed up (Rei Ayanami anyone?) and I hate his gut more that i hate Barney...

Ranma:

eh, the whole macho chauvinistic pig thing is so out atm, he needs to seriously see a doctor about head trauma and he needs to learn tact almost as badly as Inu Yasha, I also suspect that he is gay because:
a - he runs away from gorgeous nekked ladies
b - he brags WAY too much about his manliness
c - he takes so many oppertunities to dress as girls
d - he likes to eat ice cream as a girl ~.~

well maybe not the last one but the other three are debatable points!

She's always wearing those goddess awful dresses that look like they're from the eighties, or some horrid suit. Or even a rendition of some tacky 18th century outfit. Oh man, that was scary.

I think the entire cast of Gundam Wing should be Chloroformed, have their weapons removed (this includes you Ms. Peacecraft) and be made to submit to an entire Queer Eye make over.

After that the fab five can get down to business with the cast from SailorMoon and so on.

They can start with Mamoru and just burn that stupid green jacket of his. I think he only wore one decent outfit the entire five seasons. and that was the third season when in the episode where he told the inner senshi about the outer senshi.

And no, Mamoru doesn't get any credit for being Tuxedo Kamen, because for most of the first season he had no clue who he was and the second season he was the Tsukage no knight. Infact for that he should be labotomized.[/color]
