They're adapted. If they stuck with just the comics instead of worrying about making a comprehendable movie, I think they'd have a problem making decent, succinct films heh. Same reason why they skipped over Gwen Stacy, I imagine... although I wish they hadn't. Anyway, here's Bale in the Batsuit for the new Batman film: http://img70.exs.cx/img70/7304/bale.jpg

Or well thats what I like to think anyway.... They simply put Mary Jane in the position of Gwen Stacy. Notice when Green Goblin drops her.... wow, doesn't that just sound so familiar. Except Spider-man saves her, unlike with Gwen Stacy.... Although the whole Gwen Stacy thing makes me sad to see and read, so I don't think it would have been really good to put in the movie, since obviously, from the way they made the second movie, that they don't take it that serious. Oh yeah, and here's the background on the Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, whatnot that I had typed up in the Spider-Man 2 thread: Norman Osborn played the first Green Goblin and Harry Osborn plays the second Green Goblin... there was actually 2 more Green Goblins (Dr. Barton Hamilton and Phil Urich). The Hobgoblin is actually a totally different story line as far as character is concerned. There have been 4 Hobgoblins in the history of Spider-Man. Roderick Kingsley was the first, followed by Arnold Donovan, Ned Leeds, Jason Macendale. Macendale was probably the more famous of the four battling it out with Spider-Man and Green Goblin II (Harry Osborn). Then you have Demogoblin which is the demon form of Hobgoblin IV essentially. Anyway, Batman looks like he gained 100 pounds for this role... I just shouldn't think about evil DC Characters... never a fan of any of them really.... Guest lavalamp
Has anyone actually seen Catwoman yet? Did it live up to your [not so high] expectations? Did it pleasantly surprise you? I'm curious.
