Life has taken a tole into a new horizon, Global Warming has reached its limit, and now in the Third World countries it rains as much as it used to do in Scotland (heh, joke, i stay there, i should know) Scotland gets Heat Waves of over 100 Fahrenheit, while America and most other countries e.g Canada, Spain, and even Iceland (which is really warm usually) has been grtting floods of rain evey day.

So the world is changing, and the Dawn of a new Era is about to show itself, the age of Virtual Reality, where they can trap every part of your mind and body into a virtual enviroment. The whole idea worked perfectly, they tried it with Rats and soon onto Primeapes. But a group of internet hackers have came loose from America and are ready to send there Trojans into the system. Problem is, no-one know of this and they won't know until its too late.

The whole Virtual Reality hasn't fully set into the minds of people, seeing as they have barely finished the test on Primeapes. The scientists are looking for a group of young people to test it, (14-16). The virtual reality software created the whole of Earth into a program. You could do whatever you wanted, and seeing as all your nerves were attatched to the program then you would never need to come out hungry.

The hackers are still to worry about though, so when the four friends go into the system they don't know whats in there. Waiting...............

OOC: OK Everyone this is where it starts, the friends are the main part of the story, SephirothX said it was kinda like The Matrix, and it is kinda, but this was all a dream so it don't matter. The friends are hanging about a club/bar, Shaun's band have just finished a gig, and they are planning to head off to Shaun's house. They stroy will progress from there. Namely a letter gets posted through Shaun's door, about Virtual Reality, am not telling you anymore. Here we go...................

Shaun's band was finishing a gig at a local entertainment center. Steven raised his microphone to his mouth and started,

The crowd cheered as Shaun finished his last chord and Steven's last word leaked out. Grabbing their stuff and getting ready to go, the band was stopped by the man that hired them. He handed some money to Shaun and he divided it into equal parts besides Shaun, who always got extra. As they approached the door, Steven said outloud,

"Lets go to Shaun's house and watch a movie or something. His mom always has good food." And then he headed out the door, his mike in his gig bag. They arrived at the house and Shaun opened the door. They headed inside and started to settle down.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Shadow continued to seaf the net for more information on the virtual reality project until he got some message from another hacker friend. Shadow opened up the new window and read the details:

"So far I couldn't find anythingsuspicious about it Shadow. I'll ask Rose and Gaulntlt if they got anything yet. ~Peach76"

"Nothing....I'm still not so secure on the idea. I'll post a new messga eon a private code and see if anyone can help out" Shadow said as he punched his message and loged off the net.

Jim rolled his chair away form his cmputer desk and loked at theclock sitting on his window, it was about 7pm when he logged off, he was on thenet for about 5 hours...a new record for him in the afternoon. He got up and went to his kitchen to get something to much on, he opened his fridge to find nothing was in their but: Milk, Eggs, Meat, Butter, and some BBQ Sause.

"Time to get some food" Jim said as he put on his jacket, grabbed his ouse keys and waks down the apartment building steps to head outside.

"Yeh is that all you use me for, my mon's cooking" he laughed, as they walked into Shaun's house. "What film are ya's wantin on, pick out if them over there while i get mom to make pizza or something"

Shaun went through the hall into the kitchen "Heya how was the gig then" his mom asked. "Ah the usual, i think we've got a bigger one next week" replied Shaun.

"So am expecting you and your friends want pizza" she said, Shaun laughed, "How did you guess ?"

"Its the same every week"

"Ok just normal no toppings on it, ah can't be bothered askin them what they want, so normal margherita (sp?!?)"

"Using complicated words now" his Mom laughed

"Ok Thanks, how long will it be"

"Well considering its, half-an-hour or your money back then less than that"

Shaun laughed as he walked back into the living room where they were still arguing about what film to watch.

[I]Kiyo, and the rest of the gang headed toward the living room.Everyone was still arguing over the movie, and Kiyo was getting upset.[/I].

"HEY! SHUT UP!!!!!" Kiyo yelled over all of them. Everyone went silent and Kiyo smiled. "Thank you! Now, that I have your attention, how about we watch 'House on Haunted Hill'?"

"Yeah! Awesome Movie!" Naino exclaimed as her face brightened at the name of the movie.

"Eh? What's that?" Steven asked.

"You've never seen House on Hauted Hill??? Well, then... That settles it! Everybody sit down, and I'll put it in!" Kiyo said.

[I]Kiyo reaced into her bright blue backpack (which she always carries around), and pulled out the movie. She put it in and sat down on the couch with everyone else. She took a pillow from Steven and got comfy.[/I]

"Hey!Mine!" Steven said as he fought Kiyo for the pillow.

[I] He finally gave in and gave it to her. Kiyo stuck her tongue out and laughed. Steven punched Kiyo in the leg lightly.[/I]

"Alright everybody! Mom's making pizza!" Shaun yelled from the kitchen as he was walking toward the living room.

"SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" was the only responce he got from his friends.

[I] He laughed quietly and started walking toward them. He walked past the front door and saw someone run by the window.[/I]

"W-what the f..???"

[I]Shaun ran to the door and opened it to see who was outside. But no one was there! He shook his head thinking he was seeing things. He walked back in he house and locked the door. As soon as he turned around there was a letter lying in front of his feet. He picked up the letter and opened it...[/I]

"Shaun?? Are you coming? Hurry up! This is a good movie!" yelled Naino from the living room.

"Yeah... I'll be there in a minute.... " Shaun said quietly as he read the letter.

Julia gave Steven a concerned look, so Steven got up to go check on him.

"Hey man, you ok? Steven asked as he saw Shaun's face.

"Read this..." Shaun handed the letter to Steven.

Steven stared at Shaun with a confused look, then read the letter.

We are scientist from the national cooporation of D.N.E (Dawn of the New Era), and we need your help......[/B][/I]

" Whats that?"said Naino pointing at the paper.

You can see a look of confusion come across her face as she reads.

"Soooo.....who are these people?"Naino asked.

She looked aroound the room for someone to reply but all she saw were confused faces. She gave the paper back to Shaun.

"I'll just be over here on the couch, okay guys?" And with that Naino jumped on the couch and started watching the movie again. You could tell she was a little nervous by the way she was playing with her fingers.

"Well its not really given us a real description of what there wantin us to do, but we could go down there tomorrow or somethin, see what there wantin"

They all murmered in agreement as there attention drew back to the film

Shaun's mom walked into the room about 20minutes later carrying the pizza,

"Its gettin late am goin up to bed, oh yeh you can all stay here if you want tonight, i want sleep though so not much noise"

This was what happened most nights after a gig, "Ok See ya later mom"

Shaun ran up the stairs to get about 15 pillows and 5 covers.

"That'll do, we've got the sofa bed where two can sleep, we've got the two other couches, so who wants me to get anothe cover so they can sleep on the floor"

They all looked at Steven, "Oh well its always me" Steven said in argument

"I'm gettin one bit of the sofa bed" Shaun shouted

"Keep It Down" he heard his mom shout, they all laughed

Naino took a blanket and jumped on the couch. She popped her head under the blanket and started acting like a ghost.

"Woooooooo. Whahahahah!"Naino tried to sound like a ghost as much as possible, but ended up sounding alot like Dracula.

She fell back on the couch and pulled the covers down.

"I remember what D.N.E. is now" she said as everyone turned to look."They've been working on this project for about 8 yrs now. I've heard that they've made some sort of virtual reality, but why they'd want us is something I can't figure out."

Naino stared at the ceiling and then rolled over.

"Goodnight everyone!"

[I]Everyone stared at Naino for the longest time, waiting for her to explain it. But they soon heard Naino's heaving breathing, and knew that she was asleep.[/I]

"What do you think it's about?" Shaun asked while he stared at the ceiling.

"I don't know...maybe Naino will tell us more tomorrow..." Julia said as she rolled over to face Shaun.

"Hmmm... Oh well! Let's get some sleep and think about this in the morning with a clear head.. Night!" Steven said as he shifted under the covers and fell asleep almost instantly.

[I]Kiyo sat there still propped up watching the movie and everyone else.She didn't know what the letter was about exactly but for some reason, it seemed familiar. Kiyo glanced at Julia...asleep...Steven...asleep...Naino..asleep...Shaun...[/I]

"Hey Shaun?You awake?"Kiyo said as she stared at Shaun's back. He rolled over.

"Yeah....Kiyo?Why do I feel like I know what that letter is about?" Shaun asked with a confused look.

"I...I don't know....I feel the same way...." Kiyo said at almost a whisper.

Shaun reached over and touched Kiyo's leg.His hands were so warm and caring at that moment, Kiyo wished she could always feel Shaun's touch.

"It's ok. We'll find out something tomorrow! I promice!" Shaun smiled, "Now, I command you to go to sleep!!!!!!!" Shaun yelled.

"SSSSSSHHHHHHHAAAAAAAUUUUUUUNNNNNNN!!!!!!!" his mother yelled.

"Oops! Forgot! Sorry mom!" Shaun said as he rubbed the back of his head.

Kiyo laughed and slid under the covers as Shaun came up to tackle her. He sat on top of her and laughed. "Ha! Pinned ya!" Shaun said while laughing with Kiyo.

Shaun got up and went back to his spot and covered up. "Night sis!" Shaun said.

"Night!" Kiyo whispered as she snuggled in the covers and turned the T.V. off.

[I]Kiyo has always liked Shaun, mainly as a brother, but still a little bit more than a friend. She envied Julia whenever they hugged or kissed in front of her. She usually just walked away pretending to go get something. She tries not to show it, but sometimes it's to hard... And she gives into flirtiing. But never in front of Julia, she couldn't do that to her best friend.

Kiyo laid there for a little while before dozing off into a peaceful dream about the movie....Her dream suddenley took a turn. She was in some kind of lab, with containers. She walked up to a container... SHAUN!! No! What is this??? She ran to all the other containers to find Naino, Julia, and Steven! She ran to a corner crying and covering her face. What is this place? What's going on????[/I]

"Kiyo!! Kiyo! Wake up!!!!!" Shaun screamed as he shook Kiyo who was screaming.

"What's going on?? Julia said as she rolled over.

Kiyo woke up with tears fllowing down her cheeks and Shaun standing up over her.

"Kiyo? Are you ok???" Shaun said with concern in his voice.

[I]Kiyo looked at Shaun and burried her face into his chest. Shaun wrapped his arms around her and held her close.[/I]

"It's ok Kiyo! It's ok! It was just a dream..." Shaun whispered as he rocked back and forth with Kiyo in his arms.

[I]Kiyo fell asleep in Shaun's arms and he laid her down and slept next to her to make sure she would be ok. Naino, leaned over to she if everyone was asleep.[/I]

"Yep.. Thought so.. Oh well..." Thought Naino as she looked around at everyone.SHe rolled vack over and dozed off...[/COLOR]

Dr. Kitty Phillips said a name plate in front of a desk. Degress covered the wall of her office, it was kept neat and tidy. A older women in her late thirties sitting behind the desk thumbinmg through some papers. A clock ticked in the background showing that the time ws after 1 am. Leaning her head back behind the chair and letting her blond hair come over the baack of the chair. Picking her head back up she cracked her neck and shoulders. She looked back at the files that are in front of her.

Picking up different pictures of teenage kids. "I do hope they come." Her voice echoed in the quiet room. A smile came across her face. She was finally going to see if her life work will work with humans. "It will work I know it will."

She and the other scientist Ms. Ashcroft had picked the best canidates for it work. Kitty picked up the photos of the five kids they picked and fingered each one of them. She had sent them a note earlier the day before. Grabbing her mug she looked and found it to be empty.

Pushing her chair out from other her desk she got up and headed out of her office. Making her way down a corrider she headed into the break room and to the coffee pot. To her dismay their wasn't any coffee in the pot. She sighed and took out he filter and put three scoops of coffee grinds into it. Taking a seat she waited for it to brew. After it was done brewing she filled her cup and put four sugars and a creamer in. Kitty made her way back to her office and sat back down to her work.

"Do you think they'll actually come?" Ashcroft asked with worry as she walked in.

Dr. Laine Ashcroft was in her mid 20's and was known as a child prodidgy. She got a cup of coffee and sat down.

"I hope I didn't run all the way over there for nothing,"she exclaimed"do you really think this will....never mind."

Ashcroft looked around the room and then at Dr. Phillips. She took another sip, put the cup down and got up.

"I sure hope this works," and with that she walked out the door.

[Naino]

Naino woke up and found herself to be the only one awake. She yawned, got up, and scratched her head. Naino slowly walked past the sleeping heads towards the window, where she stared out into the backyard,....thinking.

"........hmm..."

Shaun's eyes opened to see Naino looking out of the window.

"Hey there, whats up" Shaun asked quietly, "Ah nuthin just thinking"

"Ok" Shaun turned his head to the side to see Kiyo lying there, [I]What the hell happened last night, it mustv'e been one freaky dream thats all i can say[/I]

Shaun turned his head back to Naino, then he jamp up out of the bed, "Am gonna get changed, i'll be five mins"

Shaun made his way to Julia, hopping over the Steven, Julia's eyes fluttered open to see Shaun walk over to her.

"Heya you ok" Julia asked, "Yeh, i was coming over to see if you were"

"Yeh i am, don't worry bout me"

"Ok then, am goin to get changed just now, i'll be five mins" Shaun said

"Can ah come up with me" Julia asked, she gave him a wink as he ran upstairs

"Whatever" was Shaun's reply

OOC: Ok everyone here, we need to start making our way over to the DNE Centre, but we get another letter so don't leave just yet, lol

Julia put on a royal blue tank top, and a pair of black flare jeans. After they had both finished changing, Shaun and Julia headed downstairs. Shaun went into the kitchen and grabbed a couple of pop tarts and put them in the toaster.[/color][/size][/font][/i]

Shaun took the letter which was lying in Naino's hand, opening it with the edge of his nail. The letter which wasn't very long said :-

Dear Mr. Glacier & Co. (lol)

We have recieved information that you may want to help us in our project of which we have been planning for 8 years currently. This letter will include the times you will have to come to our offices, and the address of our office.
Thank You for the support and here is your timetable, by doing this we will pay you each £200 per visit

Monday: 12:30 - 5:30
Wednesday: 13:00 - 15:30
Friday: 17:15 - 21:25

"Erm ok, this letter is random" siad Shaun

"Whats it say ?" asked Julia

Shaun recited out the letter to everybody that was up, which consisted of Shaun, Julia and Naino.

Shaun said "Today's Saturday so we can all decide if everybody's going, cause its Monday the first time"

"Yeh, ok now we have to wait on everyone waking up" Julia said

"Or do we ?" Shaun's face lit up as he said this. A huge grin cam onto all there faces and Shaun ran and flew whacking into Steven, who woke up just as he hit him.

[I]Kiyo heard Steven yelling at Shaun for hitting him, and she quickly jumped up knowing what was probably about to happen. Naino landed on Kiyo's palet with a thud.[/I]

"Danget! How do you move so fast???" Naino asked raising up while holding the back of her head.

"Dunno, just insticnt I guess." Kiyo replied in a sleepy voice.

[I]Kiyo headed up stairs to change. She put on a wife beater and black tie and some flared blue jeans the almost completely covered her tennis shoes. She plodded back down the stairs and went to the kitchen only to find no more poptarts.[/I]

"OK! NOW SOMEBODY'S GONNA DIE!!!" Kiyo yelled from the kitchen.

[I]She ran and tackled Shaun to the floor holding his arms back and sitting on top of him.[/I]

"O.k.! Who ate my poptart???" Kiyo said.

"Oppz!That was yours???" Shaun asked in a mocking vioce."Don't worry! We have another box hidden in the cabinets!" Shaun said as he laughed.

[I]Kiyo got up and dragged Shaun to the kitchen by the ear. She let go, and he went to the cabinet and pulled out a box.She took a poptart and threw it in the toaster.Shaun stood beside her.[/I]
"Hey...about last night... Are you ok now?" Shaun asked with concern on his face.

[I]Kiyo stood still for a minute and looked at Shaun with tears in her eyes. She shook her head and tried to hide the quiver(sp?) in her voice.[/I]

"Y...Yeah. I'm fine."

[I] Kiyo pulled her poptart out of the oven and sat down in front of the window to eat it. Everyone looked at Shaun and he nodded his head. They hadn't told Kiyo about the letter yet.[/I]
"Hey Kiyo, you remember that letter?" Kiyo nodded."Well we got another one." Julia said.

[I]Kiyo turned around quickly with half of her poptart sticking out of her mouth. Her face went pale. She took the poptart out. [/I]

"So....w..what'd it say?" She asked with a mouth full.

"We're going to go see them. Thet're gonna pay us money for it! We can save up enough to get some good gigs for the band!' Shaun said.

"Yeah! We can even buy new microphones and stuff!!!" Steven said excitedly.

[I]Kiyo smiled hidiing her nervousness and turned around and looked at the window.[/I]

"Ummm.... Kiyo??? What was in your dream that freaked you out so bad?" Naino asked out of the blue.

[I]Kiyo froze and started cring. Julia walked up to her and put her arm around her.[/I]

"It's ok! You don't have to tell us! Don't worry about it! It wasn't real!" Julia said as she glared at Naino for bringing up the subject.

[I]Kiyo knew it was a dream...But it felt so real....There was no way she would be able to forget about it.[/I]

"I'm so sorry Kiyo,"Naino said," I....I..didn't know."

Naino's eyes became watery, she looked down. She didn't know she would hurt Kiyo. She took a breath and looked up at Shaun.

Kiyo walked back into the room as Naino and Julia left, all she saw was the sight of a roaring Steven pummeling his way into Shaun's side with a rugby tackle. "Ha got ya, that'll teach you for waking me up on a Saturday, you know i don't get up till like 1"

He laughed, so did Shaun and Kiyo. Steven shouted as he ran upstairs "Am gonna get changed, see ya in a bit"

"Ok" Shaun and Kiyo replied.

"Oh yeh, we've to get Naino and Julia at the pool today, you comin"

They both heard a crash then bang and Steven shouting "AAAAHHHH, sorry, ah fell, heh heh heh, yeh no problem"

Shaun and Kiyo dived onto the couch's and put the TV on, hile they waited for Steven. "Am thoroughly bored already, heh heh heh, what you wanna do till we meet them" Kiyo asked

"Oh erm dunno, go down the skate park, or something, i'll show off, as usual" Shaun replied, he burst out laughing at the look of Kiyo's face.

Steven tumbled downstairs "Erm was that vase important" he laughed

"Nah but we're gettin Naino and Julia at the pool later"

Shaun asked "So you wanna go down the skate park for a while, its still early so no-one will be there yet"

They all agreed and started heading off, as soon as Kiyo got changed

Kiyo,Shaun, and Steven headed for the skate park. When they got there it was around 9 AM and it was completely silent. Shaun grinned and on his skate board ran towards a quick jump and landed perfectly. Kiyo gave a big thumbs up and headed off to a rail on her roller blades. Steven sat there for a minute then headed off with Shaun on his skate board.

"Hey guys?" Kiyo asked as she landed from the rail, "What do you think this is all about???"

Steven landed and skated to Kiyo. "I'm not exactly sure but we'll find out soon!" He smiled and looked at Kiyo with assurance.

Shaun stopped skating and looked at Kiyo and Steven. "Hey Kiyo?"

"Yeah?" "Ummm...I know I shouldn't really do this..But what was your dream about?"Shaun asked nervously.

Steven glared at Shaun and looked back at Kiyo.Her face was so pale, and she looked as if she was going to break down and cry. Kiyo wiped the tears from her eyes and sat down.

"I....I was in a lab....I think... and there were these contianers...or capsules or something...and I looked in them....and ..and..." Kiyo lowered her head so her hair would cover her eyes. "Everyone was in them....Steven...Naino...Julia...Me...You...." Kiyo burst into tears. "It was so scary Shaun! It felt so real!"

Steven picked up his skateboard and walked over to Kiyo. "It's ok! Everything will be ok! Don't worry about it! Hey I know! Let's go meet Julia and Naino at the pool! You'll completely forget about it! Promice!" Steven smiled trying to help Kiyo.

Kiyo laughed, "I must look like a complete idiot!" "No!!! Kiyo we've known you since we were 10! We know how funny you are and how crazy you are!" said Steven joking around.

"And.. We know when you're telling us something seriously. And we know when we should listen!" said Shaun as he walked over to Kiyo. "C'mon! Let's go swimming! I call dibs on the diving board!" yelled Shaun as he put one of Kiyo's arms around his shoulders and Steven put the other one around his.

Then they both pulled Kiyo all the way to the pull on her roller blades falling almost every two seconds!When they finally got to the pool all of them had tears in theie eyes from laughing so hard.

[COLOR=SeaGreen]Once Kiyo was able to walk again, Steven kickfliped onto his Birdhouse Skateboard and 50-50 grinded the silver rail. He leaped off that rail, Tailgrabbed to the next one, do a very dangerous Rail Manual in which he swerved back and forth in the Manual style on the Rail. His hands behind his head, he let the warm air flow over him. Shaun looked dumbfounded as he watched Steven pull this off with ease. Kiyo grinned and hopped on the rail with her Roller blades. Steven, seeing Shaun's face, jumped of the rail, and said while backwards Manualing so he was facing Shaun and Kiyo,

"Think that was good? I'm gunna do two Kickflip McTwists to pawn whatever you can do." And with a grin, hopped back on the rail, heading over to an empty pool right next to Julia and Naino's usual spot. He rolled back and forth to get some speed going, finally launching off the right edge and doing not two, but THREE Kickflip Mctwists. Leaping off his board in mid air, he then shoved it back under and did a Japan Air to finish it off.

"I wonder where Julia and Naino are..."

OOC:That was what the group did while heading to the pool just to give some more detail to it.[/COLOR]

[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=blue]Inside the girl's locker room, Julia and Naino were showering before they went swimming. Julia had met Naino as she was heading into the pool and they both decided to talk about the strange letters.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=blue]"So what do you think about all of this, Naino? Are you excited about it or what?"[i] Julia asked.[/i][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=blue]"Well, actually. I kind of have a bad feeling about this...do you know what I mean?"[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=blue]Julia nodded her head.[/color][/size][/font][/i]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=blue]"Yeah, I kind of have a bad feeling about it as well. Why would they pay us so much money? Is it dangerous or something?"[/color][/size][/font]
[i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=blue]Then, Naino and Julia both heard Steven's muffled voice asking where they were. Then they heard Kiyo answer him.[/color][/size][/font][/i]

"There hear" Kiyo shouted "Am gonna get changed"

Shaun and Steven looked each other, both with a grin on there face, "You thinking what am thinking mate"

"Hell yeh, does it involve two huge splashes"

"Yep"

They raced into the locker rooms and got changed, they peeked out to see if they girls were in the pool yet, "Nope not yet", they seen the girls locker room door open, "Right there they are, wait a sec till they get in the water"

"3.....
2.....
1.....

And Go"

They both jamp out of the locker room and aimed right next to the girls and bomber, the water went flying all around them

The girls faces were sour, and they got out of the pool by the side then put there legs in

"How do you like getting wet then" Julia asked

And with that all of the girls kicked water at Shaun and Steven


OOC: Just trying to move the story along, don't stay at the pool too long though

After awhile in the pool everyone got out and went to change back into there clothes. They all met up outside of the pool and talked.

"So I'll see you guys tonight then," Naino asked referring to the club to which they were suppose to play and discuss the current situation.

Everyone nodded there head to Naino and waved goodbye to each other. Naino ran home, changed her clothes and put on some makeup. She danced in front of the mirror to see her outfit. She must've changed into a million different outfits until she finally found the perfect one.

"Whew, there, what do you think Suzy," Naino aked her cat, the cat meowed," I thought so too."

Naino ran threw the hall and told her mom she was ready to go. She ran outside and got in the car. Her mom got in and they drove to the club.
