Box Hoy
I'm not quite understanding the public groups thing. It's been here since I joined and yet there hasn't been an open group membership thing. 1: What is a public group? 2: How do you join one? 3: What do they do? Thanks. DeadSeraphim
1. A group of people, much like cliques 2. You don't 3. Nothing As far as I know, Public Groups are just a standard thing in vBulletin version 3 that has yet to be turned off/coded out at OB. I'm pretty sure there is no intention to use it.

Semjaza
He's right. I just wanted to chime in and confirm that these groups are just built into vB3 by default. They're on the boards I made as well and despite the fact that I don't use them, the box still appears in people's profiles. To be honest, from all I've been able to read about them, they seem to be pretty useless. With the options a general member is given, they're really little more than "official" clubs. An Admin can give specific options to various usergroups, but that's about it.
