DetectiveMikeRS
This is my second song, which also got published. Again I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks of it. As before it cannot be copy and pasted without my written permission. One Summer Evening (Written January 7, 2004 by Mike R. Smale (C) 2004) Verse: The sun’s going down behind the trees, the air is lightened by a warm breeze. (One summer evening) Verse: Children’s laughter in a neighboring yard, a little reminder that life’s not really hard. (One summer evening) Chorus: It was one summer evening, when I found you in my heart. It was one summer evening, when I knew we couldn’t part. It was one summer evening, when I realized, that I love you. Verse: The night’s coming on and the world’s falling asleep, (One summer evening) Verse: But my heart’s wide-awake, for my feelings are just too deep. (One summer evening) Bridge: How I wish that I could tell you, everything I feel right now, But every time I get the chance, I just don’t know how. Chorus: It was one summer evening, when I found you in my heart. It was one summer evening, when I knew we couldn’t part. It was one summer evening, when I realized, that I love you.
