In LA, street racing is very popular, but still underground. Kinda like Skateboarding, but back on the subject. People race every night, but every year there?s a competition in the heart of LA, called the street wars. It got it?s name when, in 1999, a gang war broke out, and got everyone busted that year. Since then, the street wars have been in various places.

Then, in 2001, a new group came into the street wars, lead by Nate Martin, called Da Southside Villains (DSV). For the next 3 years, DSV has won every heat, every tournament, even all the Street Wars. It might be because Nate drives a Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Rally Car, or it may be because of his skills, but he?s won every street wars.

But so far, in 2005 The Escudo hasn?t been driving right. He?s gotten into dept that the gang can?t even pay. So, this year, DSV needs to win the street wars. But, they can?t get the car dialed in. All the other gangs have noticed this. And their planning something to shut DSV down permanently. Is yall ready? I?ll start the rpg, then you all can post in whatever order, just as long as you don?t double post.

I sat in the Escudo after opening the driver door. HE placed a hand on the wheel, worried. The gang was getting mad at me, pretty quick. I was wasting their money, trying to get the Escudo going. But Street Wars is coming, and I need to get it fixed. He slid a cd into the cd player ,and turned the engine on. There was a roar from the engine, then it quieted to a purr. The music started, first with static and church bells, then a guitar, then a steel guitar coming in. The bass shook the car, and made Tré open a door to see what it was.

Tré: What are you listenin to?

Nate: *mouthing* I can?t hear you.

Tré nodded. Nate started moving his head to Dream Theatre?s ?6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence?, Glass Prison. He was still worried. Words came, and he started mouthing them.

Laura drove into the garage with her Ferarri after taking it out for a spin. She turned her sound system that was playing Static X off, and finally noticed her brother sitting in his car with his music turned way up.

"Oh man! Ever since his Escudo been out of whack, he's been down in the dumps. I better go talk to him," she aloud to herself.

Laura walked over to the driver's side of her brother's car, and she leaned a bit on the car door.

"Hey! Hey!"

Nate turned off his music finally, "What?"

"You do know, my brother, that moping around won't solve anything." she said with a now calm voice.

"Everyone in the gang is mad at me. I wasted money on this Escudo and and it's still not fixed."

"Well, if we are going to win the Street Wars this year, we have to get it fixed. So, we better get on it."

Coming towards the garage, Shelly saw Laura's Ferrari drive in first. She then knew that Nate would be present as well. Shelly drove her Evolution in and once the Escudo was seen, she was sure enough that Nate was there. As she drove in, her music thundered all around the garage, making the others look her way.

Stepping out of the car, Shelly brought out a large roll of cash and threw it towards Nate. Everyone was confused yet anxious to know how she had recieved such a large amount of money. Shelly came around and sat at the head of her car.

"Da.mn, nice roll, Shells, how much?"

"1 G."

"More money means more parts. More parts means more wins in the Street Wars."

With a smile on her face, Shelly watched Nate look at the roll of cash. Laura was impressed as well. Shelly then stood up and walked towards Tré, who was working on another car. Nate and Laura conversated about the money.

GODSMACK blares in the dead of streets as Trix slowly rolls up towards a house full of cars she knew too well. Cars that had one every Street War so far. Cars she held a slight distaste for. Trix never liked cars. They were to fragile, and Nate's car really held up to Trix's belief.

She rolled down her window and pulled up her sunglasses, lightly setting them atop of her head. Strands of red hair framed her playful face. She narrowed her eyes and leaned halfway out of her window, chewing on her thumbnail.

"What is she doing here?" Shelly dug a fist into her hip.

"Who?'' Nate looked up from the wad of cash in his hand.

His eyes met with Trix and he sighed. Laura leaned against the sickly car, arms folded lightly under her breasts.

"Go see what she wants, Nate," Laura motioned with a hint of annoyance.

"She wants you, Nate. Go to her," Shelly teased.

"Whatever," Nate shrugged, hesitantly getting out of his car.

He thrust the cash into his pocket and trudged down the driveway. Trix in her Lightning then took out a stick of gum and munched on it as Nate grew closer. Finally, he reached the truck and placed his hands above Trix's head along the door.

"What do you want, Trixy?"

"Not you, in any means necessary," Trix kissed at the two girls standing by the Escudo.

"Then one of them?" sarcasm filled Nate's face.

"Hell no, I really do want to talk to you. Meet me tonight," a neon green bubble squeezed past her lips.

Nate reached in and popped it, "When, where, and why?"

"Six thirty, El Casa de Gato, and you'll find out why when you get there," Trix smiled and blew a kiss at Nate.

She revved her engine and shifted. Nate backed away, watching Trix take off. The sunlight shifted the hypnotic colors of the Ford from blue to green, green to purple, and purple to blue. It was if the truck were flowing.

The night sky was decorated with a silver full moon , and the winds whispered through the empty streets of L.A . A silver Porsche purred , as it stopped in front of a very large and prestigious skyscraper . Then the engine stopped running , and a tall man in a very well made , and expensive suit got out of the car . He walked to the other side of the car , and opened the door , a beautiful girl in a black dress got out , her golden hair glistened in the moon light , her yellow eyes shimmered like burning comets . She smiled as he took her hand , and shut the door . Then as they walked the large glass doors of the building entrance opened , and they went through .
There was a man that sat behind the marble desk , The tall one signaled him with his hand
" Keys please " He said .
The man was the usher , so he took the keys from a small silver deposit box , and gave them to the other one .
" Any messages ? " The tall one asked , as he walked towards the elevator .
" Yes sir there is one , but it is rather strange " The man said .
" Well , what is it " The other said .
" I think it's better that you read it , I wrote it down , but the caller didn't say who he was " The man said , as he gave the other one a piece of paper .
" Thanks anyway " the tall one said , as he turned around with the woman holding his arm . He read the piece of paper quickly , then he placed it in his pocket . He then got in the elevator , and went to the 40th floor . The doors slid open , and they walked out of the elevator , the tall one then whispered something in the girl's ear , and she giggled in the most beautiful way . He opened the door to his pent house , after she entered he walked in , and shut the door .

It was early in the morning time . The sun broke through the shaded glass of the expensive apartment in the form inclined rays .Only the sound of splashing water was heard in the quiet apartment , a while later , the water stopped , and a muscular figure wrapped from waist down with a towel came walking out brushing his wet hair with his hands .
He looked to his side , and saw the beautiful golden haired woman lying peacefully . Silk sheets wrapped around her lithe figure , she was softly awakening , like a blooming flower .
" Where are you going ? " She softly asked while gently rubbing her eyes .
" Sorry Countess , I have to run now , as much as I would like to , I can't spend the entire day with marvels of breath taking beauty like you , because that may drive my poor mind to absolute insanity , for It hurts ones eyes to stair at the sun for too long " He said with a slight grin .
" But ... " She tried to speak with a smile on her face .
" Shh " He whispered , as he placed his finger on her lips .
" I'll be right back " He whispered , with a smile .

Her cheeks blushed , and she bit on her lower lip . He then carelessly walked to another room , which seemed to be a closet . After a while he came out wearing a deep blue T-shirt , with a black vest over it , and black baggy trousers , with blue and white sneekers .
He went back to the other room , and went to a small oak desk , there was a pair , of leather gloves , a bandana , and a watch .
He put the gloves in his belt , wore the watch , and put the bandana in his pocket . He also remembered the note he left it in the suit he wore the night before , so he picked it up from a chair , and pulled the note out , placing in the pocket of his trousers .

The girl had taken a quick shower , and was back in her dress now , she smiled at him again , and he walked her down to the building entrance . When they reached the street , he had already called a limousine for her , and it was parked in the street , while the driver waited for her near the building entrance .
" What is it that you wanted to say ? " He asked .
" I will be leaving tonight " She said .
" Back to Germany ? " He asked .
" Yes , I'm afraid that this is farewell I will not be able to come back here anymore " She said .
He frowned ,as his slender finger grazed her face , the news disturbed him , but that's life he thought to himself .
" Who knows maybe we'll meet again someday " He said .
He shut the door , and took one final look at her , she smiled , and so did he . Then the Limousine moved away . He clenched his fists in a bit of anger , but then he loosened them , after all he had his obligations to The Black Wind , and that would have gotten in the way sooner or later . He then remembered the note , so he pulled it out of his pocket . It read :
"They are great in numbers , but their strength lies in one , the wounds of the beast are healing , be catious"

He then tore the piece of paper , and threw it away , he knew that the letter was about the DSV , he had heard of their recent problems , and gave no importance , but he decided to see what they were doing , just to be on the safe side . The sun got in his eyes , so he took out his shades which he had kept in a pocket in his vest , and wore them .
He got into his Porsche , turned on the music , revved up it's powerful engine , and then he took off like a blazing bullet .
Racing through by the other cars , at a great speed , this was one of the things he truly enjoyed . The sun gleamed against the polished exterior of his car , and as he changed gears he felt that rythm of the engine , and the hardrock music were like blood pumping through his viens .
After some time he reached the DSV place , strangely there was Trix from the White Lightning , what buisness did she have there he thought to himself , but soon he remebered that she was somewhat of a friend to the DSVs .
A grin was on his face , weakness was clear on the faces of the DSV members , their time was up he thought to himself .
He then revved up , and moved through that street with great speed , whether they saw him or not he did not care . Then his mobile phone rang , so he picked up .
" Hello " He said .
" Hello there Asim " The caller replied .
" Did you get my message ? " The caller asked .
" Yes , when are you going to stop the riddles ? , man ! you watch too much TV " Asim said .
" Does this mean you did not understand it ? " The caller asked in sarcasm .
" No , don't worry about that I did , but what if the DSVs are getting their ace car fixed , what's that got to do with me ? " Asim replied .
" That ace car is what gets them going , without it they cannot win " The caller said .
" And ... ? " Asim said .
" Listen I don't care if they drive rockets , I am going to beat them , and that's all you need to know , so stop ruining my morning " Asim exclaimed .
" Good that's the kind of attitude you need to win " The caller said .
" Ok , now where are the new headquarters located ? , I go away for a few months , and they move the entire place , without even telling me " Asim asked .
" We had to move , because there were some problems in the old place , anyway it's near you , I'll download it on your GPS , check it out " The caller said .
" Ok thanks " Asim said .
" No problem " The other replied .
And now Asim shut the phone , and was on his way to the new headquarters of the Black Wind . Who would he run into on the way , he did not know , and did not care .

OOC: C'mon guys, get this party started.

IC:

Trix pulled up to a stop light and drug her slender fingers around the black leather steering wheel. Her right hand lay on the crystal clear knob of the shift, swaying to the hard beats of MuDvAyNe. Above the music came a familiar roar and she glances in her rearview to see the silver Porche.

" 'Ello," Trix smirked and picked up her cell phone, "When did you get back?"

" Last night. What were you doing at their HQ?" Asim tapped his gloved fingers on his dash.

Trix turned around and pulled down her sunglasses, winking at Asim. He shook his head.

"You aren't going to tell me, are you?"

"Of course not," Trix turned around and shouldered her phone as the light turned green.

"You aren't trying to race me, are you? That wouldn't be a wise decision.''

"Hell no, I'm not stupid, Asim."

"Good girl."

"However," Trix slapped the flip phone down and tossed it into the passenger seat.

Her foot steadily pressed into the gas. The left foot quickly performed a delicate kick as her right hand gripped the shifter. Gears smoothly fell into place as Trix flowed in and out of traffic. She glanced into her mirro to see Asim stuck at the light she just passed.

"I hate people who ride my ass."

OOC: 1) I hear ya, sister.

2) Italics is thinking.

IC: I was looking at the money when I got an idea. I put the money back in my pocket and walked to the Escudo, turning the music back on. A friend had left the jack out, so I lifted the front end, emergency brakes holding the back wheels as steady as a surgeon?s hands. I worked all through the night, going through 6 rock cds. At 5 I finally finished, un-jacking the car. I washed my hands and sat down in the Escudo, smiling.

Me: I think I have this down?

I started the engine, and pulled out of the garage and into the street, car shaking to Linkin Park?s ?PPR: KUT? on the Reanimation cd. The gas pedal went down with ease and I shot to the interstate.

Me: Time for some engine testing, then I?m off to Trix?s place.

I could barely hear myself as the car shook to a bass blast.

A grin on his face , as he watched Trix dissappear behind the cars . He was a bit annoyed , but also enjoyed the challange . He wanted to follow , but decided that he should save his energy for a real race .

After that he followed the map on his GPS to reach the Black Wind's new headquarters . The place was a large complex of warehouses , it had a lot of workshops to tune up cars , chop up cars , and even make cars .
Asim stopped in front of one of the warhouses , the door was closed of course , so he honked a few times in a certain tune , which the gang remembered him by .
After a few seconds the large door opened , and he drove in .

After parking the Porsche he got out , and he was greeted by the other gang members .
" Back at last , The Street Wars are for us to win this year " One of them said
" Other cars should watch out for the sand storm , 'cause the Crazy Stallion is back people " another exclaimed , and the others cheered for him again .
" Yeah yeah , ok now you lazy bums , get back to work , you don't want to have your knee caps busted now would you ? " He said , the gang was used to his attitude , they respected him , and considered him to be somewhat of a leader .
" Hey Stallion , they wanted a word with you , check out your new place , just walk straight forward through that corridor then take a right , you've got a computer terminal there " One of the gang members said .
" Thanks for the info " He said as he walked in the direction the man told him to go .

He came upon a large black door . He opened it , and found a faintly lighted room ,
with an oak desk that had a laptop on it , and two cabinets , one with a lot of books , and the other had a collection of swords in it , plus a few pieces of polished antique car parts .

On the desk there was also a collectors item , it was that of the first Porsche ever made . He smiled , as he saw that all his old stuff was in place .
Then he calmly walked at the oak desk , pulled up a chair , cracked his knuckles , then started to work on the computer . He had an E-mail which instructed him with another riddle it read :
" Go to a place were steel sings , in a melody of sparks and fire , you can hear it through out the night "
" Again with riddles ! " He whispered .
" Cyber needs to get a life " He laughed .

Cyber was the alias of the man that gave Asim the important info , he was one who called him earlier. This form of connection was established so that the police would not get any news of The Black Wind's underground activities . Their methods were catious , and wise .
He grinned , as he shut the computer , but he understood his orders , the riddle was meant to tell him to go El Casa de Gato .
It was a gathering place for underground drivers , where cars raced all night long .
He slumbered through out the afternoon , and woke up at sundown .

Washing his face with cold water , he felt quite refreshed . He was a bit thirsty too , so he filled up a large glass with cool mineral water, and gulped it down to the last drop .
After that he wore his gloves, got into his Porsche , and drove off to the designated place .
On the way he stopped at a traffic light , and his mobile phone rang .
" Asim here " He said .
" How did you like the riddle ? " Cyber asked .
" You really are getting annoying ! " He exclaimed .
" I see that understood it " Cyber said .
" Of course , it was easy " Asim replied .
" Good then , because the boss decided to give you full control you can do as you see fit from now on , I will only call to check your progress " Cyber said .
" Ok thanks , now buzz off I need to focuss on the racing " Asim said .
" Signing off " Cyber said .
Asim shut the phone , and as he did he saw Trix pass by in front of him , on the way to El Casa de Gato . This was intresting he thought to himself , as he took off with a roar of steel , when the light turned green .

Suddenly, a silver Porsche came speeding off the pavement that really made Mikoto and his friends turn their heads. the sound of the engine and tires against pavement really made a sweet melody into Mikoto's ears. Even the Porsche have dissappeared, Mikoto still agze at the direction the car is going when one of his friends got up and said "I bet that car will go to El Casa de Gato. I pulled up to El Casa Del Gato right as the skaters came, so I turned Dream Theatre up to full blast, then opened all the doors. I grabbed my Darkstar, the went out. The music flooded the area as I rolled towards them. I did a Nollieflip underflip to their amazement. I slid the tail across the ground, then planted my front foot and used my back foot to fling the board into the air. It came down in my hands and the kids applauded.

Me: Sup posers. Naw, just kiddin. *smile* Any of yall good skaters?

Mikoto: I am.

Me: Well, let?s see what you can do. Follow me if you want the best skate spot on LA.

I dropped my board and rolled away. The one kid looked at Mikoto before he took off, then looked to another kid.

Kid: Let?s follow them.

The left El Casa De Gato, leaving my car thumpin in the drive-way.

Me: Way off in the distance, I saw a door.

Kid: I tried to open!

Me: I tried forcing with all my will, but still, the door wouldn?t open.

Kid: Unable to trust In my faith I turned

Me: And walked away. I looked around, found a chill in the air took my will, and tuned in over

Kid: The glass prison that once held me-

Me: Is gone. *We both paused, not knowing the next line* *screaming* I fell down on my knees and prayed

Kid: Thy will be done. I turned around, saw the light shinin through

Me: The door waaas?.wiiide?open. You know this song? I thought I was the only person in the world that listened to Dream Theatre.

Kid: Your wrong.

Mikoto: Let?s get to the place!

ME: Ok! Let?s go.

I rolled up to a ledge, nollied up and landed in a dark slide. I came off in the middle, but the board didn?t come with me. It broke as it hit the ground, shattering into two pieces. I knew I never should have left Element to ride Darkstar?

OOC: Dude, Hayashi, I can barely read your font, and my face was at the screen. Could you size it up a little?

IC:

"Ah, home," Trix sighed happily.

She pulled up slowly, careful not to run over random skaters and by-standers. She saw many familiar cars and the cats that drove them. Some were pieces of rubbish for cars, but the kids were young and still learning. Acuras, Lancers, Spyders, Jettas, 3000 GTs, everything was there, even Skylines. Trix smiled, it satisfied her that her place was always a buzz.

The El Casa del Gato was a club her father had owned for many years. He died when Trix was sixteen, leaving the club in her possession. It was then Trix began to make her transition into the underground street racing. El Casa del Gato became a small hangout, then gradually grew into the entire underground's headquarters. You need to hook up your car; This is the place to meet someone who can help you. You need a place to cool off from the heat of 5-0 (cops); This is the place to take cover.

Trix quit racing at the age of nineteen when she witnessed her best friend die in a horrible crash. One in which she had nothing to do with. Neither of the girls were racing, it was a couple of other racers that hit them head on. Trix was in her (then) BMW, and her friend was in an Eclipse. The guys were racing on an illegal (to the underground). One lost his handle and swerved, hitting the Eclipse head on at 130 miles per hour. The girl died instantly. So, needless to say, Trix turned in her sports car for the Lightning.

"Trix!'' a voice snapped Trix out of her daze.

"Hey, Nate. You actually came," Trix smiled and pressed a small button beside her system.

The inside pannels and shifting knob glew neon purple. The system blared a mixed techno CD. Trix got out of her truck and walked up to Nate.

"Of course," Nate smirked and shoved one hand in his back pocket, a tiny habit of his.

OOC; I confer. Oh, and two things about the skating thing: 1) You don?t Bs or FS a smith. You don?t turn while doing it, so no bs and fs. 2) Hitting the rail is when your board comes out from under you and each foots wants to visit the ground on different sides. Very painful.

IC: I thought for a second, then took my hand out my back pocket.

ME: I hate this habit. It?s gay.

Trix: If you say so.

Me: You wanted me, or was it a dating call?

Trix: Keep wishing.

Me: you know it?s true?just admit it. Front or back?

Trix: Huh?.*I snicker*?oh. Neither.

I shook my head. She knew I liked her. Shit, I dated her until the gangs split us. It was kinda funny to see her face some times, I swear.
Me: Sure. Wanna race?

Trix: No, but if you want to.

I pulled my keyring out, and grabbed a remote clipped to it. I pushed mute and yelled,

Me: Who wants to race!?

A dozen hands shot up?

"Fine, I'll race you," Trix hung her thumbs in her front pockets, tugging her Daisy Dukes further down her hips.

"Cool, what are we going to wager?'' Nate snickered, slowly pacing around Trix.

"You want to race, you make the wager. You know the rules," Trix cocked her hip.

Nate's fingers traced Trix's shoulder. Everyone in the parking lot grew restless, they started revving engines, whooping and shouting in anticipation. Every racer knew Trix didn't race, and to see her do it was a rare occurance, one not to be passed by.

"Trixy, kick his ass!" a member from a new gang shouted.

"Hmph," Nate chuckled, "Fine. I wager..a confession. Truethful and serious. If I win, I get the confession."

"A confession? Of what?" Trix faced Nate, her face furrowed in curiousity.

"Your confession. I need to know, girl."

"Know what?" Trix walked backwards towards her truck.

Nate followed, " You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"Oh, I do?"

"Yes," Nate's face neared Trix's as her back pressed against the Lightning.

"What if I win?" Trix winked.

"Then, you don't have to tell me anything. But, that's not an option, you won't win."

The two stared cooly. Nate's left hand rested on Trix's hip, the other anchored himself against the truck.

"You're on."

Trix shoved Nate off of her and jumped into her truck. Nate quickly trotted to his Escudo and hopped in. As soon as the two revved up and pulled out of the parking lot, everyone scattered to their wheels.

Trix lead the way. Nate knew exactly where they were to race. An abandoned cannal, they called "Thunder Road".

?Hey bartender. Get me another shot of that dem vodka.? A drunken voice uttered with a tone, which sounded slurry. The man was very disturbed of something but like all males, he kept it to himself.

?Listen bud. I told you before and I?ll tell you again. You?ve had 10 shots already. How you are still alive is past me but now I will ask you to leave.?

?Fuck you man. I told you to give me another shot now give it to me.?

The bartender then pulls out a pistol. ?Sir I will if you do not leave now.?

?Fuck it. I?m leaving. Piece of shit.?

The man walked outside with steps unbalanced. He swayed and swerved across the side street. He began to hear a commotion about a wager between two racers. He didn?t care right now. Winning these days didn?t interest him, only blood. He walked up to a small Gremlin. He hugged it will a tear in his eye.

?I?m back hunny. I missed you.? He kissed it with happiness. His keys seemed foreign in his hands. He was unable to get them into the slot. After countless times biting and grawing his lips he finally got it into the hole. He turned the key and opened his door. A soft tone then rang as he prepared to sit into the car. The tone began to sound like a song. He felt like singing but sat there in silence. His key found its way into another slot, which started to make the car purr when it turned. He smiled at the dashboard then looked into the rear view mirror. His right hand found its way to the gear shifter. His left leg pushed down the clutch and his hand glided into first gear.

?Lets get on the road again.?

The engine revved like a call of a demon as he took off in a wall of dust. He wasn?t sure where he was going but right now he didn?t care.

I shifted to neutral and started revving the engine, the car keeping it?s speed until I turned. I then shifted back to 2nd gear, clutch moving smoothly. We got to the edge of the canal. I aimed up the jump floored it, showing off. I hit the edge of the canal, then shot over the backs, landing smoothly on the other side of the water. I spun it around, then drove through the water slowly, going to the parade. Spray lines were already put down to mark the beginning and ending of the course standard and endurance course.

Me: Standard or endurance, everybody?

Everybody yelled out endurance. The difference was that standard was your ordinary 1/4th mile track, while endurance was a 1 ½ mile track. Much more fun. I looked at my built-in lap-top, checking engine stats. Everything was normal. Sometimes the water was higher than normal or splashed up into the engine, cooling it a lot.

We lined up. It was time to race.

"Let's see what I've got," Trix breathed in deeply.

It had been years since she had raced "Thunder Road". And to be quite honest, she was scared. Not of the power of her vehicle, or the possibility of lossing, it was that fear of seeing that terrifying crash. Flashes of memories clouded her vision for a few seconds before she shook her head. Nate was lined up, waiting for her.

Taking a deep breath, Trix slammed the clutch and shifted swiftly from second to third, jerking the Ford foward. She rolled up slowly beside Nate and checked up on her dashboard laptop. All systems go.

"Trixy-pix," Nate leant over into his passenger seat, " we're doing an endurance check. You remember what that is?''

"Fuck you, Nate. You know damned well I know," Trix flared.

"A'ight, ready?" Nate blew a kiss at Trix.

"Always," she sat back and clutched the knob.

Her breath drew in, steadily and heavily. The engines of their vehicles echoed off the walls of the cannal. A girl, no older than sixteen stood about twenty feet away. She was holding a green bandana. Trix glanced quickly at Nate and then back to the girl.

"DO IT!" the girl screamed and dropped the bandana.

As soon as the bandana left her hand, Trix quickly shifted to first then second. 65 miles per hour, she shifted to third. Nate was right beside her. 89 miles per hour, she shifted to fourth. Nate still remained dead lined. 100 miles per hour, fifth gear. The superchargers kicked in and shot the horsepower into high gear, Trix shifts to sixth gear. The force of the engines pulled the truck forward, a good speed of a buck thirty-five (135mph).

Trix glances, Nate is on her rear, not too far.

"Damn, this is going to be close," Trix watched for the marker.

To me, everything was crawling. I had more than enough time to glance over to Trix in the hypnotic Ford Lightning, time to turn the music up to full by hand, time to check the system stats. Everything was normal, for the speed we were going. I don?t know about her, but I was pushin 145 when we got to the mile marker.

Over 2 miles a minute. Hot damn.

This was the moment, the moment of ecstasy that happened when the car was fine. Before it screwed up. Before I screwed up.

Flash-back

IT was a random pick-up race in La. IT had nothing to do with pre Street Wars games, just an exhibition race. Standard 1/4th mile, but the Escudo started turnin on it?s own when I shot off. No prob, steerin?s out. I can handle it, I do it all the time. Then things got worse. I lost total control, swerving and blowing all types of speed. Then we got to the last intersection before the end. I was barely holding on, and the opponent was catching. I didn?t get his name-no need. Two cars pulled out, a Honda Element and a Ford Focus. He swerved to miss me, and slammed into the Focus, both cars flying. I, looking at the wreck and not the road, slammed into a Honda Civic, then a light pole. It blew the car, but I won.

I won. But whoop. It was downhill from there. The Escudo didn't win. My Sister let me drive her Ferari since mine hadn't been fixed.

End Flashback

I looked at the stats one more time, then pushed a button with the label: GBG

Go Baby Go, AKA NOS.

Lying back on the hood of his car , his arms folded behind his head . He stared at the stars , and took a deep sigh .

He always came here to relax , and put his thoughts together , but then the sound of roaring engines broke the silence .
" What the hell ?! " He exclaimed , as he stood up on the ground .
He was standing on an abandoned bridge which overlooked "Thunder Road" .
Looking over the rail he saw Trix , and Nate racing his way in speeds like that of falling meteors .

" Trix racing ? " He whispered to himself in question .
Soon they were passed the bridge he was on , and were speeding away . He watched with keen eyes , and then grinned .
After that he quickly got in his Porsche , and rushed back to El casa de Gato .

Reaching the place , he saw that other racers were fixated on the race , although sight was no good , but they could still hear the engines .
He stayed in his car , and awaited the arrival of the racers , he wished to see what he was going to race against in The Street Wars .
Looking about him he saw a crazy looking fellow in a Gremlin , he looked familiar , but Asim just couldn't remember who he was .

Anyway he got out of the car , and walked to the bar .
He looked about at the bottles , then calmly said .
" Do you have anything without Alcohol ? "
" What ? " The bar tender asked .
" Never mind , just give me a bottle of mineral water " He said .
The bar tender handed him a cold bottle of water .
" Thanks " He said as he walked away .

Asim never drank Alcohol on his usual days , because he considers it to be filth , and he was not going to before a potential race .
He leaned against the car , as he opened the bottle , and took a sip . Looking at the driveway , there was still no sign of the racers only the roars of steel were heard .

Looking about him he saw two cute girls , one sitting on the hood of her Ferrari , and the other one leaning against a Mitsubishi Lancer .
Both of them watched the race with great intrest , then he remembered that the girl on the Ferrari was Nate's sister , but the other he was not sure who she was .

Laura quickly scarfed down the rest of her Ramen and hopped into her car. She picked up the cd case that was sitting on the passenger seat and chose one of her burned ones out the case, kissed the cd, and placed it in her cd player.

She put her key in the ignition and the gentle hum of her Ferrari starting sounded, followed by the blast of the European techno and French rap mix cd that she just put in.

I am absolutely bored. I think that I may want to bum around town for a little while.

The second track on her cd played as the car sped down the street; the lyrics corrupted the peace of the street for being so loud:

"Dreamer. Dreamer. Dreamer. Dreamer. You got to be a dreamer. You got to be a dreamer. You got to be a dreamer."

"I think that I want to go to Thunder Road to see if there is anyone to race," she said out loud.

With that, she made her way there.

When she arrived, she was surprised to see her brother's Escudo there.

Did he really get that thing fixed??? Amazing!

As she made her way slowly to the other cars, many people turned their heads towards her.

This'll be exciting

I pushed the button several times, but nothing happened. Then it dawned on me- I took the NOS out a week ago!

Me: Ok, time to make some noise.

I turned the music up again to make sure it was maxed out, then maxed bass and put treble to the middle. I looked over at Trix again to see her face. She looked serious. All of a sudden there was a popping noise, and the engine died. I started flipping switched. Trix was pulling away?there we go! The engine kicked back in, and the engine shot up. I pushed the gas pedal down so hard it almost went through the floor, and the car shot forward. I saw Trix?s face in the side view mirror. But it was too late. I shot up next to her ,and started turning around the slight bend. Trix didn?t notice it until I almost slammed into her, and she lost speed. It was going to be a close one?.

We came all the way around the bend ad almost slammed into some parked cars. I looked behind me to see what it was, and it was the cops! I looked at Trix and nodded. She took off, while I spun around like a caged animal. I stopped and started revving my engine, like a cat growling. The cops started after Trix, but saw I was the ?easer? kill, and turned towards me. Big mistake.

OOC: Oh hell yes!

IC:

"Fuck!" Trix exclaimed, sitting up straight and grasping the steering wheel and shift.

She saw Nate nod, giving her the sign to get the hell out of the area. She skillfully down shifted and swung the rear end of the Lightning around, spraying up a wave of water onto the police cars. She quickly shot out of the water and out towards the open cannal. She looked into her rearview to see Nate luring a couple of cars.

"Go baby!" Trix yelled to no one in particular and shifted two more times, jolting the Ford and sending it soaring.

She was no more than a quarter mile away when blue and red lights illuminated her cab. Trix checked her stats, everything was warm but not too hot. Satisfied, Trix shifted into fifth, the cop kept up.

"What the-?" Trix gripped the wheel as she rode on the slanted sides of the cannal walls.

She glanced back in her sideview. The cop was keeping up still! Confused and quite infuriated, Trix decided to quit playing games with the cop. She descended the wall and shot into a tunnel. Luckily, she knew the cannal better than anyone, so she knew what to expect. She slowed down drastically and took a sharp right, barely missing the dead-end wall.

"Mood music," Trix shoved in Metallica.

"Anywhere I roam," began to play. Trix turned the dial and sung along. The tunnel swerved and turned, like a maze. A few seconds into the song, a rumbling began to vibrate the water on the tunnel ground. Trix looked into her mirror to see a fireball hurdling towards her.

"Oh, I forgot to tell him about that sharp right," she chuckled slightly and pressed the gas into the floor.

The light for the exit rapidly grew larger. The truck shot out like a bullet leaving the gun's barrel right before the fire engulfed Trix. She slowed and began to merge onto the city streets.

Riiiing...riiiiinngg....riii-

"Talk to me," Trix flipped open her phone, down shifting to meet city speed limits.

"You okay?"

Nate.

"Yeah, I'm good. You?"

"Eh, I'm alright. The Escudo isn't."

"Shit man, where are you?" Trix stopped in a small parking lot.

"In the emergency hide-out."

"Okay, you'd better stay there. I'll be there in a few minutes."

I was under the car when Trix Arived, not long after Laura pulled in.

Me: Tranny's shot straight to hell. Damn cops. How'd they find out?

Laura: I don't know.

Trix: This cop was keeping up till I smoked him in the tunnels.

I chuckled, and started unscrewing a bolt. I gotta get out of here. Then an idea came- I had tow cables! The Escudo was only 1700 pounds, Laura's Ferrari should tow it. Wouldn't be easy, but I've done it before with weaker cars.

Me: Laura..can I tow the Escudo with the car? Pulease little sister?

Right as Shelly came up in her Lancer, she saw heads turn to look at her, then back to the Escudo. Shelly parked the car and hurried over to the Escudo. Shaking her head, Nate and Laura looked to the person who was stifling their laughter to see that it was Shelly. Laura gave her the "death" look and Nate's eyes merely looked down.

"So, who were you racin' this time? Wait...let me guess." Shelly stood there, acting as if she was tihnking for a few seconds. "Trix the Trick!"

"Yeah. But....she's not a trick. So, can you tow this for me?"

Looking to the Escudo, then to Laura and Nate. With a sigh, Shelly crossed her arms and waited for an answer from Laura. She was certain that Laura would refuse at first, but later accept. Yet, while looking from Laura to Nate, she turned to her Lancer and turned the alarm on, when she saw someone looking towards the Escudo's way. The guy leaned against a Porsche.

Nice style on the Porsche. Driver looks pretty cool. Gang? Possibly something to do with speed or horses. Wow. These two take too long. "Hey! How about deciding in this century?"

"Oh fine, Nate!" exclaimed Laura as she threw her arms up in disgust, "But I'm driving."

Thanks, lil' sis" Nate replied with relief.

Just hook your baby to mine and let's go.

Nate attatched the cables to his Escudo and to Laura's Ferrari and hopped into the passenger seat.

"See you all later," she said the other people who remained at the hide out as she followed her brother's example and sat in the driver's seat.

She closed the door, carefully backed out and on the open road.

"What were you thinking!?!?!?!" she exclaimed once they were on the road.

"I dunno."

"Did you use up all of that money that Shelly gave you? I hope not because your car is screwed up again. The condition of your Escudo depends on whether we win this year's Street Wars. Without you, our chances are slim. My Ferrari F50 can only do so much. As soon as we get back to the garage, let's try and fix your car together this time. That way, we'll better the chances of it getting fixed in time."

Me: Yea yea..what eva.

I sat in the passenger seat, listening to the Escudo creak and shift behind us. This car wasn't designed to hold the clips from the tow cables. I had to clip int onto the back fender after checking the welds. I hope Laura doesn't talk about-

Laura: What did you clip it to? I thought this didn't have the tail clips, just the nose clips.

me: Oh..uhm..I found them..they were hidden by the...uhm*i snap my fingers twice*..tailpipe.

This was normal behavior to me, so she didn't notice anything. I hate it when the idea leaves your head the secnod people ask you about it. Man, my brain must be dumb.

I eached overand sliped a cd into her cd player without asking. Linkin park started playing PRR:KUT.
