Turkey
After the low-poly and cel-shaded stuff I've been working on, this piece felt like a breath of fresh air. I aimed for a dream-like look, and I feel it looks almost exactly like I originally envisioned it. All the textures were homemade, except for the boat, sky and sword handle. So, any comments? Pawn114
It may be just me, but I cant only see something that doesnt seem like the picture you describe. For one, it has no skies, or a boat I can see... or a sword. Maybe you attached the wrong picture? The one there is pretty cool, but I cant critique what I cant see
Turkey
I think you confused the thumbnail with the real picture. I'll make the link to it easier to notice in a sec.
Pawn114
Your right, I completely missed that, sorry! All right: 1.) The picture looks very good, very well done for a 3d rendering, what program did you use? 2.) The mountains in the back look a little... jaggy, maybe try to smooth the vertices and add more poly's? I havent done alot of 3d work, but I've played around with Blender 3d before, and havent gotten anything close to a full picture, I did get a goblet before... 3.) I like the textures, nicely done, the mountains in the back shouldnt be all one color, or at least not quite so bright. So yeah, the only real problem with this picture is in the jaggy edges (My friend always says something about anti-aliasing fixing that up, Dont know if your program supports that). Overall: I like, very well done. I know how long and tedious 3d work can be. Unless you managed to make that using paintshop pro etc. Then I would be truly amazed
Baron Samedi
The helmet and the footprints in the sand are the best and most realistic part of it I feel. Those parts look really good, and would give you 10/10 from my point inventory. However, I think the hills should be darker green, and not so solid in colour, more patchy if you will. Mountains would be easier. I don't like the boat so much...it looks a bit off for some reason, nothing that I can discern though. A nice effort, but the helmet gets the most points.
Hevn
Yeah, the helmet's one big attraction there. Shadows are fairly nice too. Good work ^_^x EDIT: Oh yeah, I just noticed the reflection of the sword in thw water. That was some detail.
