Crazy Ace
This may sound corny but it is a justifiable question. When we are younger our environment and whatever we come in contact with can influence us in different ways. This can be applied to television. For me as a science and technology buff two series that caught me are Gundam Seed and .Hack//Sign. Seed opened my eyes to genetic engineering and the enhancement of humans may not be in the near the magnitude of that of seed, but some time in the future there is a great chance that some sort of genetic improvement of humans. Virtual Reality got me with .Hack. I already am a novice game designer but .Hack kind of given me a little incentive to proceed with game design on a higher level when I am done with school so that hopefully some time in the future I can be a part in creating some sort of VR gaming experience. Guest lavalamp
The movie Thelma & Louise really changed my outlook on life. I learned that I could be a fugitive and still snag hot a-list actors for a night. I also learned that suicide is always an option when being chased by the authorities, and that true friends will stick by your side even if you kill someone. Guest HitokiriAiko
Anime in general changed my life. It got me started drawing more and more, and now I am pretty good. I want to do something with my art someday, and anime helped me get there. Anime also got me the boyfriend I've had for 9 months. It got me listening to J-rock (Japanese rock). Because of AMV's i started listening to different kinds of music I had hated before. Anime just opened my eyes to worlds beyond the one I previously kenw. Semjaza
They're fictional shows. They don't teach me anything unless they happen to be Mr. Wizard. I miss that guy. Oh, and I've learned how to guess the MSRP of random household goods thanks to The Price Is Right. Anyway, none have changed my outlook on life. Just random useless things. Hevn
The Simpsons made me look at life, and other random stuffs, differently :babble: No, really, it's mature content and excellent social observations, added with ironic humor, makes it really worth watching ^_^x
Guest Entreri
Trigun, the emotional conflict in that show made me question a bit, I belive, now, that I would not take anyones life, not because it's wrong (for, right and wrong do not exist, but are 'justices' created by people) but because I choose not to, if I had the choice, I wouldn't. Also, Rurouni Kenshin, manslayers could be anywhere!!
BeowulfmonX
This may sound weird but Digimon gave a whole new look to things. I find myself paying more attention and realizing things I never have before.
Calaya
Oooh, deep thread. Not much really changed my perspective on life, but anime gave me whole new interest that I have stuck by through the years, and will probably stick by for years to come.
