But since nobody could actually see his eyes, the crowd in front of him remained unafraid, continuing to sit in anticipation of their address. Some were chatting amongst themselves, others were battling it out inside 600-feet tall robots. The man straightened his short black hair and pulled his black jacket further over his shoulders. He raised a gloved hand up to his mouth and coughed politely into the microphone- a mere six thousand decibels of noise swept over the gathering of students, sending many of the younger, lighter ones flying over the horizon. Satisfied that he had their attention (if not their hearing), the Principal of the Tokyo Academy for Unusual Students began his speech. ?Welcome all to the Tokyo Academy. Some of you have been here before, some of you haven?t. As always, I trust we shall make this year as? productive a year as we have always done. As you know, this is a very special school, where we can teach you without worrying too much about loss of life, and we may harvest your abilities?? He paused as the students raised suspicious eyebrows in unison. Straightening his hair, he cleared his throat again. ?Excuse me, [i]nurture[/i] your abilities so that you may live normal, productive lives. For those of you that have just joined us this year, the senior students will show you around the site. Thank you.? With that, the principal disappeared, once again straightening his short black hair. * * * Deep within the outskirts of Tokyo?s suburbs lies a school. Here, hundreds of students study hard to gain enough knowledge and qualifications to gear them up for adult life. But this is not an ordinary school, by any means. In this school, many of the students have extraordinary powers and talents that they have discovered or had thrown upon them, and it is here that they must learn to control them. Or simply cause mayhem. This is the Tokyo Academy for Unusual Students. Prepare to be unprepared. [b][u]Staff:[/b][/u] [b]Principal Gondo Okari.[/b] The Principal of the Tokyo Academy is an incredibly sinister man with an obsession about his hair. He stands about 7 feet tall in high-heeled boots and wears nothing but black, save for a bright orange shirt on Mondays. His small, round sunglasses are permanently stuck on his face- anyone who has ever seen his eyes has never been the same again. Before becoming the Principal, he was an ordinary teacher with a hair obsession. But when he got lost in downtown Tokyo some years ago, he stumbled into a restaurant where he accidentally ate a small but extremely powerful fairy. Since then, he has become even more sinister, and can increase the sound of his voice to phenomenal levels. When he coughs, he has a tendency to release clouds of toxic vapour. He stands as a brutal authority figure over the school, but actually does very little. Most of the time he sits in his darkened office, staring through the blinds at the sports arenas or the mecha park. He goes through secretaries at an alarming rate- often two a week ?and is sometimes heard muttering about ?evil plans?. [b]Vice-Principal Jean Kanagi[/b] The Vice-Principal is incredibly different to her senior- she is bright, friendly and enjoys organising school events. The problem is, she?s been in a coma for three years and can only communicate with the students through the body of her husband, a scientist employed by Gando to help keep the school under control. Although she cannot do much, being a spirit, she sees almost everything that goes on around the school and has a sort of omnipresence about her. Students often come to her for advice. Her husband Souichi, having two minds in one body, is incredibly schizophrenic and often comes into school with three sets of clothes on and half his face covered in make-up. His science classes are often very destructive. [b]Master Ooguchi[/b] Master Ooguchi is the Physical Education teacher. He prides himself at being the absolute best in everything he does (which includes ?piloting mechas?, ?swordfighting? and ?you-know-what?), and takes special care demonstrating it to any female members of staff and students of any race. A lecher and a pervert, he hates most boys except those who worship him as being the best in the world (and he still exploits everyone anyway), and insists that everyone address him as ?Master?. The girls, however, see him as kind, considerate and humorous, if a little chauvinistic. [b]Janitor Takashi[/b] Takashi is the muscular, 30-something year-old janitor and caretaker of the school. The students love him, but he is quite a detestable grouch when he sees something that goes against school policy. He follows it [i]to the very letter[/i] and mercy be to those who cross his path. He has an enchanted broom cupboard, in which he keeps his enchanted brooms, mops and buckets. Whenever a mess is created somewhere, they automatically zoom to the scene and clear it up. The problem is, there is little way of controlling them, and they frequently cause more mess than they clean up. [b][u]Sign-Up[/b][/u] The first thing to note about the RPG- it is a comedy, so the less serious, the better. Not to the point of absolute absurdity, but as close as you can get without being too over-the-top. Secondly, this is not for existing anime character- you have to create your own characters with their own quirks. If you can spoof an existing character (or several), that?s great. But they have to be original. [b]Special Powers/Abilities:[/b] Outrageously powerful powers are alright, but don?t godmod. This is a comedy RPG, so you could have a really daft ability if you wanted to, e.g. the ability to make paper stick to any surface, or the ability to make people?s hair turn green. You don't even have to have any abilities. Perfectly normal characters are fine, as are Yaoi and Yuri (but bear in mind this RPG should be no more than a PG-13) [b]Sworn Enemy:[/b] ?Nuff said. In this RPG, I hope for there to be good guys and bad guys, all forming relationships, rivalries and anything else you like. You?re more than welcome to try and form an attachment to another character [i]so long as the other person consents to it.[/i] And if two people are both after the same one and they?re after someone else entirely, play it out in the story- but please don?t get angry. I reserve the right to throw out any participant who won?t play nicely. Ultimately, it should be the decision of whoever?s being asked as to whether they want to start anything. And since this is a high school, if a character wants to hold and organise an event/party/evil plan which bears context in the actual RPG, you?re welcome to do so providing I?m PMmed first and it?s approved. So it?s kind of a communal storyline, in effect ^_^ I?ll only hold one event at a time, though. Examples: [list] [*]A character wants to organise a field trip to a martial arts dojo. [*]A character wants to start a rebellion to take over the school. [*]A character wants to hold a party/sleepover/ritual sacrifice at their house. [/list]The RPG should (assuming it goes far enough) be divided into four semesters: Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer, at the end of which is the End of Year prom and Finals. In each semester there?ll be one big event, and there?ll also be lessons, activities and parties (some of which you can contribute) all throughout the year. Holidays are involved in the semester chapters- I've not quite figured out yet how to divide them, but with any luck I should do by the time the RPG starts ^_^; [b]You can sign up as a member of Staff[/b]- just say so in your reply and specify which subjects you teach or what role you have in the school. The staff listed above are useable by anyone in scenes if they want to, but I?ll take control of them at key points for various story events. Ideally I?m looking for good-quality sign-ups with lots of humour. I?d like people who are going to be committed to sticking with the RPG all the way through. I don?t know how long it?s going to last, but I?d like it to properly finish wherever we manage to get to. I?m going to be selective with the sign-ups, but if people drop out I will probably ask someone else to take their place, so if you miss out don?t give up- I might well call you back in. Something the over the top Prince really knew nothing of. Ryukyu Mishiama the 13th is a fake name that Prince with a name so complex it would take seven tongues and three minutes to pronounce made up so that he wouldn't seem suspicious. Adding "The 13th" because he liked how it sounded. The Prince's first task was to infiltrate society and take it from inside out. Knowing nothing of subtlty, the over the top Prince quickly unleashed his secret identity to a High School that really didn't beleive him. Soon getting annoying with his loudness and constant laughter, the High School staff had him transfered to his current High School for "Strange and Special" Students. Atleast he was some what normal their. From there on, The maniacal and robust Ryukyu recruited a reluctant following of minions, many of which dislike their job, but keep quite in fear they will be [B]OBLITERATED!!![/B] MWHUAHAHAHAHA!!!... Excuse me. Many students are annoyed by the loud mouth and insane attitude that the Prince displays, but say nothing because they fear being [B]OBLITERATED[/B], I mean, because they really have no room to talk themselves. Ever since transfered, Ryukyu started trying to take over the school, but to little avail, he still keeps at it. He hopes this year he may get lucky... Other than this, the only information need to be known about the Prince is that he is prone to spouts of uncontrollably evil laughter and shouts loudly atleast once in every sentence he speaks. His voice being raspy and deep, this makes for an excellent evil laugh and speaking ability. This often times annoys the Staff members, but they try to ignore it just as they do with similar students. [B]Special Powers and Abilites:[/B] Master of dark magic and the use of Oversized Weapons, that being his sword, the Soul Buster. Many of the attacks that the insane student favors resort in giant, many times mushroom cloud, explosions and Earthquake enducing force. Able to shoot small to large, luminous beams and balls of energy from his palms and flashes of power from his sword. Aswell, he can drain the souls of his fallen opponents with his swords soul draining orb, which causes him to become even more powerful. The master of Dark Magic's favorite saying, always being "All your soul is belong to me! MWUHAHAHAHAHA!!!" [B]Sworn Enemy:[/B] All Staff and Hero's who stand in his way. He still keeps his parent and the mage on his mantal piece. [B]Bio:[/B] Takai is your run-of-the-mill tough guy, family affected in horrible accident and he is left alone to deal with the trauma and sets out a life goal of stopping this kind of thing happening again, with little success. It all began when he was mearly five years old and was living with his family just outside of Tokyo when it happened. An evil mage of some description came to the house spewing some nonsense about how he was trying to save the world by killing Takai, you know the usual stuff and tried to kill Takai but his father tried to stop him and as a result the mage turned himself, along with Takai's family, into rather handsome wood ornaments which Takai keeps to this day. Since that day Takai has set himself a goal of never letting this happen and has trained himself in the magical arts so to stop it happening. His subjects greatly reflect this because he feels he needs to learn to be more 'hero like' while still becoming a hero and he uses creative writing to vent his anger and frustration. Even though he works with the best of intentions Takais plans never turn out the way he wants them to and he becomes more of a hindrance rather than a help to those around him, it doesn?t help that his idea of right and wrong don?t match up with the rest of the world either but he still tries to help in his own little way. He tries to act sociable but can?t manage to pull that off either because his conversation starters usually revolve around his parents and their misfortune and that sends the conversation down hill from the off. He doesn?t realise that when he tries to act all reclusive and secretive after his failed social attempts it endears him more to the girls around him and this is the last thing that Takai needs. The reason being the one thing that causes Takai to lose all will-power and strength is girls. He was never in close contact with them until coming to the Academy and so has a hard time dealing with them. When girls are to close he acts the goof in the traditional Anime style, which is trying, and failing, to impress them while they still think of him as cute. The tough guy act is his way of coping, he lets no one in so they can't turn into wood ornaments and remind him of his past, but at a school like this how long will those defences hold? [B]Special Powers/Abilities:[/B] Takai is a master with the Bow and Arrow and doesn't see a need in the over sized swords or giant mechas of other Anime characters, he relies on his pin-point accuracy rather than swinging wildly or steping on something, his greatest love is forging new and more powerful arrows to use. His magic is still at apprentice level but he can still create quite good defensive magic spells while still having trouble with offensive magic. His transformation needs work as well, instead of turning him into a mythic demi-god like figure which he wants, it still managers to become some form of hybrid between human and flamingo. He was raised normally: had to do various chores, hung out with friends, had numerous girlfriends, all that stuff. Upon entering junior high, he met 3 very important people: his most recent and cared for girlfriend Alexis, his best guy friend Mike, and his best female friend Carson. Jake had no idea of the impact these three individuals would have on his life. Well Jake had always lived in the same general area. He wasn't one of those kids that complain every half second about not having friends due to "constantly moving." In fact, if he ever heard someone say this, he'd hit them...well if it was a guy. If it was a girl, he'd kindly ask if they never uttered that phrase within earshot of him ever again. Jake was a gentleman...always has been. He had always had a girlfriend. They seemed to flock to him. He had no problem with it(obviously), but the other guys, except for Mike, were quite jealous. He excels in most subjects without putting out any serious kind of effort, but tends to get in trouble rather often. Despite this, he still encounters many people who mistakenly think that he is female (certain teachers have been referring to him as "Miss Yoshida" ever since he entered in freshman year). He tends to make his male friends feel mildly insecure about their sexuality. All of that changes when Soushi picks up a sword. He instantly transforms into something of a madman, developing an insatiable thirst for violence. Incapable of holding himself back, he must be forcefully stopped from killing his opponents--usually innocent, guileless freshmen who have no idea who they're dealing with. Soushi has been suspended several times for badly injuring fellow students, but so far his stellar grades have prevented him from being expelled altogether. Unfortunately he has to share with his rather annoying room mate Suzuki Malizuma [b]Bio:[/b] As long as Oberon remembered he has had no parents. Living in an orphanage just outside of Tokyo, he has learned much of life from his teachers there and knows relatively little of the outside world, becoming an angsty little kid. It became common place for secret organisations to recruit members from his orphanage for use in their top-oh-so-secret-government-funded-weirdy-operations. They found child labour to be cheaper than hiring actual agents, using them until they reached roughly about 22 then "firing" them. Noone suspects the children anyway. Being picked up by the Special Protective Organisation of Other Nations, or SPOON, Oberon began training immediately. SPOON protected the world from incursions from anything and everything. From Demon Kings to Evil Masterminds to Alien Invasions, Spoon has won out time and time again using its highly trained teams of adolescent operatives. Oberon showed himself to be strangely adept as an operative even though he was only 12 and has been sent on several dangerous missions in which he had to sacrafice a colleague he shared a close bond with each time. This was rapidly becoming a theme, anyone close to Oberon meeting a nasty end at random intervals. Noone wanted to go on missions with him, or even be in his general area anymore and he was quickly shunned by the sane majority of the department. His assignment is currently to infiltrate the Tokyo Academy for Unusual Students, mainly as a way to get him away from valuable operatives, but also to see just what Gondo Okari is up to *rubs chin thoughtfully*. Because of such "emotional trauma", Oberon rarely talks and usually communicates using the language of *blink* a complex series of expressions centered around blinking as a form of conveying meaning. He does actually like people and doesn't go out of his way to be anti-social..though with his little misfortune he finds it best not to make many attatchments, finding that people come to sticky endings around him with little to no warning, which is a shame 'cause his natural bishiness and broody demeanour attracts a lot of fangirls/fanboys. (watch out for stampeding mechas or falling pianos ^_~) [b]Special Powers/Abilities:[/b] (how is Yaoi a special ability? *shrugs*) Espionage, advanced weaponry, being sneaky. Vegetible moved in and went through the process of having to reset his video machine timer all over again, as well as finding a closet where he could store Jeeves at night. Since moving in a few years ago he's settled in, regularly hosting Playmate parties for the entertainment of those on his party guestlist which is a major goal for most of the socialites or socialile wanna-be's. [b]Bio:[/b] He's a playboy that is the true defining point about Vegetible, stupid name aside (at least it's stupid on this planet) he's can be an evil little bugger with designs for eventual galactic domination like any other cynical, tyrannical bad guy, but in the end he’s only doing it to get his hands on his dads cash. His temper is usually placid enough though it takes only a small thing such as getting a B- or having a cow thrown at him that can set him off and lead him to kill many, many people. A clever but not overly clever individual, he leaves his homework to an array of nerds he has captured over the years in various sessions of pillaging other people rooms with his band of lawyers. Though the teaching staff are aware of this practice, they are also aware that he has the nerds constructing him weapons of school destruction (WSDs), and so are warily of attempting a rescue mission. They instead prefer to send a note informing the child's parent that said nerd perished in some unbelievable, generally impossible science based accident, which with the school science teacher is plausable enough. Vegetible was born on the planet Vegetible son of King Vegetible and a member of the proud Sayitagain race. However the pure and stereotypical evil of the race lead to it's eventual annihilation at their own hands, due to vast and incalculable acts of stupidity. Vegetible happened to be lucky in the fact he was off in his summer home watching x-rated movies and hanging out with shipload after shipload of beautiful models. When made aware of his races demise it hit the young Prince quite hard, making him pause the tape he was watching for several second before nodding and returning the movie at hand. Months passed, and it was only when he realised that he may or may not have to continue the family legacy of stereotypical super-powered evil doings that he decided he might as well go and at least try and find his ATM card, since his father was no longer around to bankroll him and his playboy lifestyle. This lead Vegetible on his question to find his ATM card hopelessly lost in the barren waste-land of his laundry, steeling his evil courage his entered said wasteland only to find it being inhabited by several dozen galactic hobos who had taken resident there. Soon (approx. 15 seconds later) he decided that the quest for his ATM card was boring and futile because he realised he could simply order a new one from his galactic bank. With the new card in his possession he found himself faced with the wary task of ridding himself of several dozen hobos in his linen closet, again in typical evil fashion he decided to merely level the house with several bulldozer, crushing the squatters and giving him a new evil deed to fulfil... buying his first house. Taking his loyal and very stereotypically posh butler named Jeeves (as all stereotypical butlers are named) with him, as he went in search of a new domicile. Said new quest lead him to Earth, a world of cosmopolitan glamour and vast fields of willing servants to mentally abuse. Finding that he liked living in Japan, where seemingly all rich, alien, evil Princes decide to live he quickly used his new ATM card to withdraw money to buy himself a house, or in this case a giant converted multi-storey carpark in which to live. His new home now complete, he was left back to the arduous task of resetting the timer on his video machine so he could finish watching Friends for the fifth time, as well as ordering Jeeves to do a wide variety of acrobatical stunts for his amusement. These petty tasks completed, he learned that he would only inherit his father vast fortune if he successfully conquered a planet of sentient beings. Slightly annoyed at this little hiccup in his social calendar he decided that he would enrol in a school, catering for what he believed to be other super-powered evil doers who would band together and conquer the world, thus allowing him to claim his father's fortune. Unfortunately this was not the case and apart from several other cliques including one of super-powered evil Princes (who had their own ideas of world domination), he would have to work on his own to achieve this stereotypical bad guy scheme. Several years on and he finds that he likes the school to a tiny, tiny degree, the same way in which a bank-robber likes the way in which bank-tellers are so eager to hand over their piggybanks as well as the cash. He "acquired" his room in the school and has since spent his time invariably learning, enjoying his lavish playboy lifestyle, and generally furthering his schemes for getting his vast inheritance... [b]Special Powers/Abilities:[/b] Vegetible has many super powers at his disposal being that he is the Prince of a now dead species of super powered Primates, he is super strong, super fast, has the ability to turn into a huge ape increasing said powers already mentioned, fire balls of energy from his hands with varying degrees of strength. However being a playboy at heart he’s rather lazy and content in using these powers to do things slightly over the top such as blowing a hole the size of a truck in the wall to kill mice. Really, they do. But does a stereotype really need a history? He does? Well, all right, but only because you asked nicely. Kiyoshi was raoised by his mother, whosaved her entire working life to send her son to college. She is, of course, equally as crazy as her offspring, but in a different way. Kiyoshi's isolation and fascination with explsions during his childhood knocked a few screws loose that are still rattling somewhere in his head. Perhaps you've seen them? Anyway, he likes high speeds, explosions, large weapons capable of making large explosions, rock music and ramen. tHough he has a good heart, things get very...interesting when he's around. If you need someone to concoct odd schemes, fiddle with electric wiring, or run headfirst into overwheliming peril for no discernable purpose, look no further than Kiyoshi Hirokazu, the Crazy Guy. She finds him to be nice and not evil even though people at school say he is. So, she follows him wherever he goes. She acts as if he's just puppy and nothing else. So he he gets kinda annoied. But glad in a away that she doesn't beat him up. Special powers/ Abilities: She can summon animals, real or magical, to do her bidding. She is stronge enough to lift a huge boulder ten times her weight. Suzuki can also transform things and herself into anything she wants. However, there is nothing "average" nor "everyday" about Jessica...well, there is everyday stuff, but we'll overlook that for now. Normally, Jessica is extremely shy and introverted, afraid of contact with other human beings. She is so afraid of them, in fact, that she obsessively cleans herself with a special napkin that she brings to school, and she routinely burns all belongings of hers that happen to have been touched by another person. Also, despite the fact that she is a reasonably pretty and intelligent young woman, she is marred by intense self-loathing brought on by the fact that her parents abandoned her at an early age because "she was annoying". Obviously, this traumatized Jessica very much. But there's more! This traumatization (is that a word?) buried her real self deep inside of her psyche...but now it is ready to be unleashed upon the world! Whenever Jessica spends a prolonged amount of time in the sunlight (five minutes or longer), she undergoes an amazing transformation, complete with cheap pyrotechnics and lots of shiny bubbles and a pink, cardboard background. After her transformation (which involves a copious amount of spinning around), Jessica becomes a bubbly, extroverted wondergirl, competitive to a fault and ready to take on the male-dominated world of the Tokyo Academy of Unusual Students! With Jessica's transformation comes a 200% increase in sexiness that's highlighted by a 300% increase in 'schoolgirl fetish'. The downside to this is that there is a 500% increase in 'annoying *****' that comes along with it. Suffice it to say, the transformation isn't really worth it, but it happens anyway. [b]Special Powers/Abilities:[/b] When she is in her first form, Jessica has the ability to whine, mope and wax poetic about the general misfortunes of everyday life. She also has the ability to set fire to the passions of pubescent boys with a fetish for "weird, gothicy chicks". Lastly, Jessica can launch into long monologues at random about her need to find out about herself and the need to understand other people. In her extroverted form, Jessica is incredibly conniving and evil. Her competitive nature takes over almost completely and she's not afraid to do anything to get what she wants. For example, in a previous job she held (because you're never too young to hold a job, in anime), Jessica killed off all of her co-workers in a series of convoluted, overly thought out deaths set to a soundtrack of violins and cellos. And she liked it. EDIT: I should have included this earlier...to change back from her extroverted self, Jessica must be in a somewhat shaded area for the same amount of time it took for her to transform (five minutes or so). His eyes are a grey/green colour but they have practically no pupils, one glare silences a mob of children wanting to swing on his hair. He has a slim build but his arms and shoulders are strong. His face is very feminine giving him true Bishonen looks and he wears blue rimmed, rectangle glasses with tinted blue lenses a the bottom of his nose. Imric usually dresses like any normal guy, baggy black jeans, blue boxers and a white sleeveless shirt. He also wears a black glove on his right hand and about 20 bangles going up his left forearm (5 of them are pink, the others black). [B]Bio:[/B] Imric grew up around women; he was raised by his 10 older sisters, one mother, his 2 aunts, grandmother and his not too masculine father. Needless to say he was a girly boy from a very young age. His sisters begged him to grow his hair long and he, being at the young age of 6, promised he would never cut it. He did keep that promise and to this day his sisters still play with his hair. Imric's family were filthy rich, he was raised in a large house in Kyoto and was home tutored by only the best scientists, mathematicians and musicians from a very young age. His parents (Serephina and Dalas) had a vision of him being the next boy genius and hopefully a model for the Littlewoods catalogue. His dreams where different though, he wanted to fly. Not be a mech pilot, not in the Air Force, but really fly. So, he started building a catapult. At the age of 13, Imric finished his project. He grabbed his safety helmet, sat himself in the catapult and cut the string, the machine hurled him a grand total of 1-meter head first into the ground. From that day he was never the same, he turned from being a happy child to a brooding and mysterious young boy. It broke all 14 of the female?s hearts in his house to see him change like this; all he ever did was study and play the piano. His hopes of flying died out and all he wants now is to be left alone.... until he finds a boyfriend. When Imric was 17, the family moved to Tokyo, buying another large house for themselves and a reasonable apartment for their drifting son. He was glad and, as soon as he got the keys, moved out. Imric has been going to Tokyo Academy for 1 year and is not afraid to let his sexuality show. The only problem is, with all those parties, Imric gets drunk extremely easy and has been known to.... loose control. He can?t handle drink for toffee and bursts into a coughing fit with one puff of a cigarette. His mother constantly sends him gifts of Hello Kitty plushies and pink bows. The bows go in the bin and the Plushies are displayed proudly on his bed. One of them is attatched to his bag as a 1 foot tall key chain. His glare could be classed as a weapon, cold, evil and psychotic it makes adults cringe, unfortunately, the few friends he has are so used to it by now they end up just poking him in the eye instead, which causes them to receive a b**** slap across the face. Imric also uses various magic spells, his favourite being the Fire Ball and anything that involves fire. He also carries a paper fan for idiots hidden somewhere in the depth of his bangles. [COLOR=Purple]Bio:[/COLOR] The youngest and cutest professor of Tokyo Academy. Ken is the most good looking professor in school that girls (and guys) drool over. Straight guys love to make fun of him though, doing things that really get on the nerves of his obsessive-compulsive side. One little thing that bothers or curious Ken are homos, male homos, especially because he teaches Bishieology. He firmly believed, and is still trying to believe, that he is straight though when exceptionally gorgeous boys give him a killer smile, and are probably trying to hit on him, make him blush. At the same time, he feels irritated of his reactions. So he exaggeratedly react in a rude, hilarious, and stupid way just to fight the feeling. Being obsessive compulsive, he has a pretty organized life that mostly run on strict itineraries. Unexpected changes in schedule (and bacteria) makes him lose his sanity. On the other hand, it is in extreme nerve-wracking moments that his short-term memory loss occurs. He hates unclean animals that's why he makes sure all monsters in his class, human or not, are cleansed up to the last germ. History-wise, he wasn't born with short-term memory loss unlike his obsessive compulsive disease. It was a curse from a Memory Fairy who lost to him in a mind game. The fairy lost her composure and gave him an uncalled-for whip of her wand, giving him a random and irreversible curse. So now when he get's really angry, he would experience loss of memory for 5 minutes. As most fairy tale curses, it has a cure. Yeah, the usual, falling in love. It doesn't matter if its male or female as long as it is true love. As for personality, he is very down to earth but sometimes rude. He annoyingly loves being mentally challenged by anybody. He's also a got a very good and manly singing voice. *drools on own character* [COLOR=Purple]Special Powers/Abilities:[/COLOR] Using his mind power to control and tame monsters (including students who act like monsters). His mental intelligence is immense but total stupidity surfaces when short-term memory loss attacks. [b]Bio:[/b] Sabre, being a six-foot tall werewolf with bright yellow eyes and the oldest son of one of the most evil creatures in the world, bears the perfect mould for an evil being. Except he isn?t evil at all- he just gets irritated easily, mostly by people who say he?s evil. He disagrees with the lifestyle, complaining that it?s far easier to be nice to people in life because, among other things, it makes health insurance cheaper. His father disagrees however, and he has been banished to the school until he passes his Villain Ethics exams, a subject taught in person by the Principal. Because of his evil heritage, Sabre often finds himself being hunted by over-ambitious students who think he?s their sworn enemy. He?s managed to survive so far, but every fight he gets into earns him more and more of a reputation of being an evil bully beating up good-hearted students. What doesn?t help is that the device around his neck that enables him to speak in English/Japanese** often stops working whenever he becomes physically or emotionally agitated, reducing his eloquence to spits, whines and growls (he is a wolf, after all). In his flat, he devotes a lot of time to watching the infamously popular soap [i]Love/Hate[/i], now in it?s 12th consecutive season. He absolutely loves it, and flies into a blind rage if ever he misses an episode. Whenever he hears someone talking about it he gets very excited, which is often misinterpreted by others as a rabid attack upon their personages, which in turn leads to him getting beaten up by more students. He has a serious grudge against Master Ooguchi, who delights in putting him in detention whenever girls are nearby. Disliked by good people for being evil, and disliked by evil people for not being evil enough, Sabre finds it hard to fit in. He?s been in his Senior year at the Tokyo Academy for three years now- he keeps failing his exams and is always forced to retake, much to his disappointment. Charisma is a very happy go lucky girl, the only problem is that she lacks common sense and a brain and not to mention that she spaces out a lot. She seems to be brimming with energy and is always jumping around and talking none stop. The other problem that she has is that she is a total klutz. But with all her bad point already laid out she is a very friendly person and is willing to help any friend. If anyone is said or depressed Charisma will always try her hardest to get them happy again. Charisma grew up on a small deserted island somewhere on the South Pacific. Her parents and herself only 1 at the time ship crashed and they had to stay on the island they were saved. At first it was very hard on herself and her family but soon they grew to love it. Two years later and a rescue boat came to save them and they told them that they were going to live there now so they don't need to be rescued. Her parents let her pick the name of their Island home and she called it NO because that was the only word she knew at the time. Well for ten years they lived on the Island of NO happily and peacefully. Soon they were growing bored with this life. They hadn't seen or talk to any other person then themselves for ten years. Also Charisma was turning 11 and they knew she would need an education. So they told Charisma to gather tons of stones so they could spell out the message ?Help?. So Charisma did this but spelt help wrong it looked like this. ?Hlep?. So her parents had to do it themselves. A half a year later they were saved. After they were saved they moved to Tokyo. Her Father once again took up his lawyer practice again and her mother stayed at home with Charisma helping her with school work and stuff like that. In the school Charisma always got the lowest grades. Also they noticed how much clumsier she was. There was never anything that she could break on a deserted Island but now she was walking into signs, falling and tripping. Her parents hoped it was just a phase she was going through. Unfortunately it wasn't. As Charisma grew older she was still as klutzy and as dumb as ever. They decided to send her to the Tokyo Academy hoping they could help her. Yet even there she still gets the lowest grades. She had been attending the Academy for eight years and still cannot get out. It took her six years to reach her senior year. She use to live with her mother and father but when she turned twenty and still failing school they kicked her out. Not having any money or no other place to go she lived in a cardboard box behind the school, which she still lives in today. She has got many jobs but was always fired in the first day or two. Her one jobs was that she worked in a crystal store her first day she tripped and broke a $10,000 worth of crystal. Her boss got angry and fired her; luckily he didn't make her pay for it. Another job was she was a waitress, by her second day she broke 14 plates, 3 bow, 12 glasses, poured coffee on 4 people and got the orders mixed up 22 times. So once again she was moneyless and jobless. Being moneyless and jobless though she still is happy and go lucky as ever. She still stays in school and her only goal in life right now is to try and graduate from the Academy. Right now she is having a hard time though. The squirrels from the trees next to her home are coming down and chewing pieces of cardboard off. They also come in and steal the leaves and pine needles from her bed. Charisma chases the squirrels around to try and keep them from her home. Special Powers/Abilities: Whenever she trips, fall, walks into anything, falls down a flight of stairs, or any thing potentially dangerous she never get hurt. Her room is very small with barely any room to get around, as it's also a storehouse for various ceremonial items (which can cause scenes when special occasions come around). [b]Bio:[/b] Katamaru wandered to Tokyo from America, where she was quite obsessed with everything having to do with Japan. After considering herself an expert after watching every samurai anime ever created, she bought a girl-samurai outfit from an online cosplay store, declared herself a rurouni, and hopped the first flight to Tokyo. Of course, once she got to Tokyo, she was promptly mugged by the local yakuza-in-training, and trully became a wanderer, keeping on the move every night to try and find a place to sleep. She eventualy came across the small shrine is which she currently resides, owned by one lecherous old priest who is intent on seeing her naked. She manages to thwart his plans every time though, however most of them are by accident or not to her knowledge. After staying for a while, she actually began practicing with the moves she saw on television, finding it harder than it looked (Surprisng, no?). However, she stuck with it and is pretty decent with a sword. Eventually, she got bored with staying around the shrine all day and decided to check out TAUS, which she had heard about from one of the shrine's vistors. She enrolled and happily attends everyday, though she's still not familiar with Tokyo (after three years...) and often gets lost going home... Being that she's from America, Kat's Japanese is hardly fluent, but she manages to get her point across one way or another (though she usually has to go through a interesting game of Charades beforehand...) Kat sticks up for her friends when they're in trouble, and is a very nice individual at heart, but she becomes a total psycho when she sees a thief or bully picking on someone...or a disturbingly cute stuffed animal. Don't ask why. (As a side note, Kat has an obsessions with...cats. Again, don't ask why.) Yours truly, Your Creator[/I] Puzzled by the message, and still a little unsteady on his feet, Yabaku28 lurched around the school. Confused, uneasy, and otherwise uncomfortable, he was unfortunate enough to walk into the Senior quarterback of the football team. The kid laughed at him and taunted him. He got a couple of his friends together, and introduced Yabaku28 to Mr. Swirly, the school's excrement facilitator. Luckily for Yabaku28, his circuits scrambled and zapped the humans, who ran away scared. A staff member came into the bathroom and gently guided the dripping robot into his office. Through his foggy vision receptors, Yabaku28 saw a sign on the office door. [B][I]"Guidance."[/I][/B] He was saved! [SIZE=1]Or so he thought...[/SIZE] The Guidance councillor was a very energetic and optimistic man. He said that Yabaku28 should avoid those extra classes that would be best fitted for him, like the Engineering or the Use of Oversized Weapons courses. He instead suggested a few more enlightened topics, like Cooking, Monster Control w/ Applied Spirit Taming, Magic Casting. Things that would bring out another, better side of him. The industrious guidance councillor had already put down three of the classes before Yabaku28 got his wits about him once again. He halted the man's happy advance and made him put down two of what seemed to be more suitable classes. Metalwork and Forgery, and Transformation. After all, what robot doesn't want to be more than meets the eye? The first year was horrendous for him. More often than not, the creatures feared his cold steel touch, or they were accidently squished by Yabaku28's large feet. Several times he had to save the class from some of the larger creatures, which gained him marginal respect. The spirits totally and utterly ignored him no matter what he tried. Magic was much along the same lines. Yabaku28 could not cast a single spell or enchantment, although he was quite capable of accomplishing almost the same effect by his mechanical prowess. Cooking, though, was a blessing in disguise. Ironically, Yabaku28 made a fabulous cook, even though he himself could not eat or smell anything. His cookies were the best, his cakes were the best, his soups were the best. Everything he made totally annihilated the competition. (That only happened once literally, though.) Yabaku28 was asked to help the lunch ladies after school, which he does with much enthusiasm. More than anything, Yakabu28 wants to know why he was made, why he has to stay at the school, and who created him. He had no real purpose, except to take classes at the school and graduate. And why couldn't he leave the school? It just wasn't fair.... Yabaku28 would do [I]anything[/I] for the chance to leave the school. Rei gained access to it after a random, needy, corrupt lawyer fought a case against the discrimination of being placed in a pound. It is one bedroomed and near the Yoshimitsu Train Station. A tiny tree with eyes stands next to the front door for no apparent reason. [b]Biography:[/b] Whenever people ask about his past, Rei comes across as 'vague'. This is because the answer is always, "I come from a far away place, and I'm on a quest given to me by the Yggdrassil Tree to fight off an impending doom. I've always liked plushies." Usually this just gains him the reputation as a compulsive liar. And that hurts... alot. Considering he does actually like plushies. Rei arrived in Tokyo due to a rift in the Time-Space Continuoum. He was seen exiting a meteor-like capsule that crash landed right in the middle of the Shibuya walkways. But all to the news reporters dismay, he was not naked. After two hours of amnesia-like exploring, the poor guy was pulled into an impound for cats even though he stands at 6 foot, and then blacked out. Upon awakening in what appeared to be a cage, surrounded by even more cages filled with feline creatures, Rei realised that he was uncomfortable, and that got him angry. And even more uncomfortable. After resorting to joining his comrades in some high pitched 'meow-ing' a uniformed man wearing a cap approached and poked the cage with a cattle prod, emiting an electric shock. He then informed Rei that he would release him as long as he joined the Tokyo Academy to become a 'civilised member of society'. Realising he had been disarmed of his two blades, Rei complied and left after gaining his belongings. This then led to the meeting of 'Stan', the cowboy-hatted, constantly grinning 'lawyer' that insisted he fight for Rei's rights. To much of both of their surprise, Stan won his first case and Rei got an apartment. After his first year as a Junior, Rei has begun to settle in by evening out the time spent with 'real people' and the fluff filled beings known as 'plushies' who supposedly 'talk to Rei'. The hybrid cat-person is said to be more of a leader than a follower and is a very loyal person. Even though when angered, he will abandon anything and go on a ferocious rampage. As is normal with animal-like behaviour. Rei is often caught talking to inanimate objects such as his tree by his landlady. [b]Special Powers/Abilities:[/b] Rei is potent in throwing things such as sharp objects with great accuracy. Whether this is important depends on how you look at it. Either he'll be able to get an elderly woman's cat down from a tree with great ease. Or you have to be out of the way when he's throwing something in the rubbish bin. Rei can also transform into a werewolf like state when a comrade's in danger or when he is greatly angered. Though this seems to occur at very non-relevant points and is annoying. The amount of time she actually spends in her room, however, is little to none. She prefers other student?s rooms to hers and is often found napping in the most bizarre places. [b]Bio:[/b] Aya started off as an orphan. An incredibly adorable, precious orphan. No one knows how or why the nine-year-old ended up on the doorstep of the neighborhood?s local foster home, but when the woman in charge found her there grinning, she immediately fell victim to her, er, charm. Little Aya was vivacious and clever, and incredibly independent for her age. Everyone instantly loved her, except for the home?s pet dog, who instantly hated her. It wasn?t long before she was adopted and swept away into the suburbs. Her new family spoiled her rotten, and her new teachers praised her, despite her mediocre grades. Students everywhere hated her, however. They could see what the adults couldn?t ? that Aya wasn?t the sweet, innocent girl they all thought she was, and that trouble seemed to follow her like the plague. What made it really disgusting, though, was that she was even better at getting herself out of trouble. In fact, she seemed to disappear from the scene of the crime entirely, and all her misdeeds wound up pinned on some other poor, unfortunate soul. A slightly oversized orange cat-like ? thing was always seen slinking around afterwards, and though it raised a lot of eyebrows, it was just too cute to merit any real suspicion. Eventually Aya was sent away to Tokyo Academy, and it was here that she instantly fit in. Although she may not have been the richest student, the most popular, or brightest in any of her subjects, most of Aya?s teachers still adored her and let her get away with murder. The few other teachers either saw her for what she was and didn?t care one way or another, or hated her with a passion. (Naturally, Janitor Takashi is one of those people.) Generally carefree and optimistic, Aya comes and goes as she pleases. Though she mostly means well, she can?t help the lure of being bad and loves to cause chaos. She wears the mask in the picture when she?s feeling particularly devious, and it?s generally a sign for others to run very quickly in the opposite direction. [b]Special Powers/Abilities:[/b] Aya can transform herself into an adorable, orange, cat-like creature and in doing so flees the scene of the crime. Bio: Kei was always a smart, nice kid. He never gave his parents and others any trouble, and he always worked for what he got. But Kei has a strange attribute, which is that he shudders a lot when he speaks to girls. He has no idea why, and he can?t help it because he just makes it worse. So he tended to keep to himself, reading manga and writing stories about guys who are good with the girls, and always got them. Him and his pack of friends also had troubles with bullies, who found them easy targets. Kei soon got better talking to the opposite sex, being able to talk to most women and girls he knew well. Though through his early teens and present he as yet to have a girlfriend. Kei soon wanted to be those heros he read about, and wanted to get the girl always. Then, he got his first chance. After having to move after he had some strange problems with his old school, he was soon enrolled to the ?Tokyo Academy for Unusual Students.? He found the ?Unusual Students? part weird, but soon found out why it was there at his first year at his new school. Special Powers/Abilities: Keiichi has an ability, which is more of a curse, which enables him to have conversations without shudders with girls. Kei also has a hidden strength, which shows itself rarely. This hidden strength is the reason he was kicked out of his old school, though he doesn?t like to talk about it and hides it away. Sworn Enemy: Cool guys who always get the girls, even though he wants to be like them. He also has a disliking for Master Ooguchi, who dislikes him also, but it trying to get Kei's hidden strength out for some reason. I was wondering if 'Extra' Sports ment stuff like Football(Soccer) and other team sports. Like taking Double Science, in effect. And they include all sorts of things- hockey, baseball, football, 'real' football (i.e. soccer), badminton, tennis, monopoly, judo, karate and poker. They don't play a huge part in the RPG themselves, but they add depth to characters and provide people with backgrounds for scenes. If you want to share with someone, PM and ask. Once you've made the arrangements, it'd be nice for everyone else to know so they can sort themselves out if needs be. The differnt years will be the biggest division, of sorts. Freshmen, Seniors etc would all be taught separately, so would have different times for the different levels of each class. But there are a few classes that are taught all together anyway- P.E, Use of Oversized Weapons and Monster Control. I'll issue a rudimentary timetable for each year. There are breaks and lunch hours, free periods and before/afterschool for characters to socialise, as well as between periods. Please bear with me on this though- this if the first time I've ever had to co-ordinate something so complicated, heh. And since it's RPG-time, not all of the lessons will feature in the game anyway. What would be useful would be a little time indicator at the top of each post so that everyone knows how long each one lasts, and if someone wants to jump to a certain period then they can and everyone else will know what their character's supposed to be doing. But a lot of this will be dependent on who gets in, and I can't decide that until I know how many more people might be signing up. ColourDeaf Posted July 25, 2004 Share Posted July 25, 2004 Name: Unknown by the vast majority (Yuan-i'TEUR) Anime Stereotype: Enigmatic wise figure/Demonic Ninja Age: Roughly 3,000 Gender: N/A (Mentally Male) Year: Staff Appearance: Appears youngish (late teens, early twenties, maybe, although it appears to change from student to student), devilishly (pun intended) handsome, although few people have actually seen his face, as most of the time it is obscured by the large conical straw hat he wears. Tall and lithely muscled, he stands (or sits, or crouched on a conveniently shadowed spire) with an air of confidence, even invincibility. He normally wears the standard janitor coveralls, pale blue, and traditional Obi sandals. he always carries an old mop, and a bucket is never far from his reach. Alignment: Neutral Extra Subjects: None (sometimes sits in on the bishieology and kendo classes, although no one ever actually sees him) Accommodation: Above the school dorms, in a secret room hidden by shadow and wards. Bio: In time beyond memory. In an age where battles were fought with steel and courage. In a time of proud warriors and noble kings. There were those that walked among shadows. Phantasms and shaded figures that ruled the night. The it was the time of Ninja and Samurai. Of the ninja, one family stood out. The Bayushi clan. They used the dark arts, the arts of shadow and things terrible to protect their family line. Though honorable themselves. They forge alliances of one who was not. An Oni, A demon named Yaun-i'teur. He protected the family line from harm. He guarded their home in Edo. He taught them the way of shadows And learned the way of honor And the Ninja. At the family's final battle The last of the line was destroyed, and the family disappeared from mind and the world. "Finally" He thought. "My task is done." And beneath the house, he rested. Days turned to months To years To Centuries. Until one distant descendant of the Bayushi clan Once again summoned him for his own gain. As the weary demon rose He was handed his new weapon His anchor to this world His soul. A mop. "You're kidding me." Yaun-i'teur, shadow demon, guardian of the Bayushi Ninja clan, was now the Janitor of the dorms of the Tokyo Academy for Unusual Students. How the mighty have fallen. The school's dorm is built on the ancient home of the Bayushi clan, and he is linked to the site by bonds more ancient than living memory. He has been set the task of keeping the dorm spic and span, cleaning any mess, and keeping the students out of too much trouble. Almost no student (and few staff members) know of is existence, they find their rooms clean, their food prepared and their beds made (occasionally while they're still sleeping in them), and they take it for granted. He occasionally appears to one student or another, giving them advice in the form of enigmatic riddles or vague proverbs, and then disappears in a blink of an eye. He has spread his influence to almost the entire school, and can sometimes be seen mopping a lonely floor in a deserted hall, before disappearing behind a screen of cherry petals (which are inexplicable gone a few minutes later)... Special Powers/Abilities: Being a guardian of a powerful ninja clan, Yuan has learned several of the more powerful and ancient techniques of the Ninja. He is a master of the Rice Paper Step (he is able to walk and stand on any surface, even on water or upside down), the wooden dummy technique (he can disappear, leaving only a small section of log where he once was), Shadow Walking and several other skills (mostly involving movement or teleportation). He is also a master of staff-based combat, and takes a keen interest in kendo. Oh yeah and wants to rule the world. ( Blame Psycho-boy fer that) Age: 16 Gender: Female Year: Sophomore Appearance: 5'11, 140 lbs. Brown-blond hair, Hazel eyes. One list on her wall is " How I want to Take over the world' Bio: [Edit Later. I'm eating Ramen] Special Powers/Abilities: Annoying the Chauvanistic(sp?) Males and Females of the school. If her Personality gets cold , She can shoot ice at her enemy. If she is feeling Anger, Fire balls will be thrown. Sworn Enemy: None Really. ( YOU DON'T want to be her enemy trust me.)
