Signature Troubles

[size=1]Eh, I'm having a technical issue with my signature right now. I've been trying to edit it but it keeps telling me that my signature cannot be over 500 characters in length.

The thing is, no matter how much I remove from my signature, it keeps telling me the same thing. Its really getting on my nerves because all I was trying to do was change a few words in my signature. @_@

And while I'm while I'm on the subject of signatures, you think there'd be anyway that you could implement something that could tell us how many characters we have remaining to use in our signatures or have a 'length check' button of some sort?
