jim, hawkins
To be honest I don't know why I'm guessing this mostly because of the part when you sai "with a golde treasure inside" So thats why my gues is...... An egg ------- Ok this is my 3rd riddle and is actualy kind of easy but oh well you will propbably get it right on the first try. I am he that solves riddles though long ago that was and for this i get money. There are many out there like me though we all know I was the best. I could be the one to solve the crime if the law isn't in my way. What is it that I do and who am I? Posts merged. Jim, do not--I repeat, do not--double post. If you have something you need to add, there is an option for you to your post. Use it. Posting twice in a row is against our rules. Your posts are also difficult to read. Punctuation would help. -Lore
Ezekiel
You were right about the egg but I realised that I morphed two riddles into one, lol, try answer the other one. Your riddle confuses me, I can't actually make sense of the way you've written it so I can't give and answer in this post, sorry.
Sara
The beginning of eternity And the end of time 5th out of 26 with no end in sight What am I?
The letter e. The beginning of eternity And the end of time 5th letter of the alphabet (out of 26.) I'm not sure about the last line, but there you go. Darkmark and XYZ, I've deleted your posts. As I said earlier (and Panda has reminded you) you may not simply post your guess. Alone I'm made As spoken word Not easy to ignore. With com before I give a little In exchange for more. "Riddle" was guessed for this, but that's not right. As I said before, it involves some wordplay. Here's a similar riddle. (It took me almost three years to solve, but it's not that hard if you catch what it is really saying. I've seen people get it immediately.) Alone I am a cliff Something like a knoll With por I am mush Sitting in a bowl. What am I? If you want a hint, try to solve the second one. The first two lines tell you what kind of word you are looking for. The last two lines tell you which word of those is the answer. Gavin
I haven't the faintest idea what the answer to your first riddle is Lore but the second one was rather easy, I realised it within about a second of reading it. Answer: Ridge Another word for a cliff is a Ridge Adding the answer to por gives you a mush called Porridge I guess I'm meant to give a riddle now so here goes: I have billions of eyes yet I live in darkness, I have billions of ears yet only four lobes, I have no muscles yet I rule two hemispheres, What am I ? Yes that is the same riddle from my signature, unless somebody gets it I'm not going to give the answer.

I'm going to guess the brain. It has four lobes--frontal, occipital, parietal, and...something else. Temporal. Has two hemispheres, sits in the skull (darkness), and controls various...sensory...things. Which I'm going to say fulfill the eyes and ears requirements. The words I speak are not my own My voice is but a shadow No substance mine, but heart broken By flower at poolside meadow. Not hard. Most people don't catch all of it, though.
Makurayami
Is it your echo? It makes sense for the first two lines...the last two confuse me...
Sara
Yes, the answer is Echo. The last two lines are a reference to
the story of Echo and Narcissus.
Here's another. Here I lay, but one of many Not alone; part of a whole Covers pulled up overneath me Sheets surrounding, trimmed with gold Here I lay, in slumber waiting Bound together long, it seems Closed in darkness am I silent But I hold another's dreams. And a second, easier one: A form of red With fancy lace Brings greeting sweet and pink Although in truth I'm not as fair As Hallmark has you think.

And the answer to your second riddle is (or at least I believe is) a Rose. I'm guessing this from the first two clues. A form of red - Rosé With fancy lace - The rose's petals. Halmark - They have roses on their cards don't they. OK here's my second riddle. You are in a cold house in the winter. It is dark. You have one match. There is a candle and there is a wood burning stove. Which do you light first?

Owari Nai Yume
well, since Ben didn't put up a riddle yet, i hope it's ok if i do. Now, this isn't really a riddle, it's part of a poem i found. but can you guess what it's talking about? (i also left out a line because it tells you what it is. so i'll put a _______ there.) Humanity constantly tries to touch my silky face Oh they try ever so hard, yet they cannot win I will beat you all to the death And never give in What am i? You ask... Morpheus
You're supposedto post a riddle. I've got one: I am halfway between power and nothing Some say washington is worth more than me, some say not but franklin and I are one and the same
Blade15
I would have to say one hundred dollars. Franklin is on the 100 dollar bill, and depending on who you talk to, some will say washington is worth a million dollars and some will say it's worth 10 cents. It is a reasonable amount of money, so it will give you a certain amount of power. (Money is power) Alright, i've got one. There is a father and a son, and another father and son. How do you split 3 apples amungst them w/o cutting, squashing, or in any other way mutilat the apple?
Morpheus
you're close, but not right. One more guess and then I'll reveal the answer. The answer to yours is there are only 3 people. a grandfather, a father, and a son. the grandfather and the father are the fathers, and the father and the son are the sons. Shu-chan
You're supposedto post a riddle.
Oh, ok. A man turns off the lights in his house and goes to sleep. The next morning he finds out he killed thousands of people. What happened?
Morpheus
Not when someone else has on going. the answer to yours is he lives in a lighthouse. Here's mine again: I am halfway between power and nothing Some say washington is worth more than me, some say not but franklin and I are one and the same HINT ~ Think about money. Shu-chan
I´m really confused here. Does it have to do with those old gold coins they used to use?
Morpheus
Nope. One more Guess...
Skye
Huh. Morpheus, does it have to do with the heads on the coins or dollar bills?
Morpheus
Yep. Will someone please guess?
Skye
Well, let me see if I got this right: Washington is on teh one dollar bill, and Franklin was on the halfdollar coin, but half dollars are supposedly more valuable than regular dollar bills(cause they aren't as common)? Is that right?
