Persona
School is basicaly where your life mostly takes place. So that's where drama mostly takes place. Having problems with teachers that don't give a you know what about teaching or you, administrators getting on your back and in your face, crappy school lunch, friends who are haters or there for you, boy or girl trouble, ect. It's all about the drama in school. Really its sickening. The biggist drama for me was the whole year, see I was glad that I started playing tennis and I was actually doing homework and I was volunteering to. But all went downhill with my life, I had to go to court to finish up this case on this guy I needed to lock up(He got 50 years yay) and then this guy I affectionally call Vash. He was the guy I started to going out with. Oh my god what a mistake that was! I wanted to kill him(really beat him up and step on his most prized treasure), he was so stupid and disrespectful. He would talk nasty things about other girls and always lieng and flirting the wrong way. But I striaghtened him out...lets just say he's scared of me(lol). Then friends coming to me with problems and always kidnapping me to tell them their fortune. I mean I had problems of my own, but since I'm a good friend...let's just say I tend to never put myself first. But anyway, I would like to hear from other people about their school drama and or give your opinions. Everyone is welcome here and please keep it decent. I will be keeping this thread up to date so you guys won't get bored of reading the same thing.
DeathBug
Gah, Drama (TM) is, perhaps, the most useless waste of time ever. I've had so many friends involved in situations that are just so stupid, and easily rectified by simply ollowing the most logical couse of action. (If he treats you badly, break up with him! It's not rocket science!) I learned long ago, however, that people take their Drama (TM) very seriously, and don't like you trying to find solutions. So, I just listen, and inwardly cringe.
::Ex-Soldier::
Drama is real dumb. My old school used to be full of girls who thought they were "going out" when they were like...13....hahahaa. thats funny. Even if I'm 15, and it's been a while, having a SERIOUS relationship at this point in time is useless.
wrist cutter
School is basicaly where your life mostly takes place.
Uh... not really. Let's say average life expectancy is 75 years. 75 years * 364.25 days a year = 27138.75 days = 655650 hours of life. Let's say you go to school from 7:00 - 2:30, which is 7.5 hours a day. The schedule for this year in my district includes 177 total school days, which is probably pretty average. 177 days * 7.5 hours a day = 1327.5 hours a year. 1327.5 hours a year * 12 years of school = 15930 hours in school. Kindergarten and college hours vary too much to include. So all we have to do is divide 15930 hours in school by 655650 hours in life. Whaddya get? Simplified, that's 177/7285. So if you want to see what fraction of your life that is set up this simple equation: 177/7285 = 1/x Solve for x: 177x = 7285 x = ~41.158 Therefore roughly 1/41 of your life is spent in school; hardly a majority. Panda
Therefore roughly 1/41 of your life is spent in school; hardly a majority.
Point taken, but it is a bit off subject. Let's keep to the subject at hand which is school drama. Thanks! Back when I was in school there was more drama on a daily basis than you would see in a soap opera. Personal conflicts, illegal activites, pregnancies and all the normal teenage angst. I remember one of the big dramas that took place in high school was a girl who got dumped by her boyfriend. She knew it was the end of the world so she was going to burn the school down. I am not sure how this was going ot help her situation....but she tried anyway. The big problem with her plan was the school had a campus set up. It wasn't just one big building. There were 10 different buildings. So she ran to each of the buildings and set fire to the garbage cans in the girls' restrooms. All the fires got put out quickly and only one building had major damage to the bathroom. I just remember seeing her get taken away by the police screaming about how it was her ex-boyfriend's fault. I am so happy not to be in all that "drama" anymore. Persona
DeathBug, I been broke up with him a ling time ago(i'm not stupid). I mean I was stupid for going out with him in the first place. Anyways there is to much drama and it's a you know what. Life sucks and we have to pay for it. But other then that it's just rediculous. Ex-Soldier, I do agree with what you say. Especially about puppy love in junior high and high school. I mean, One: your to young Two: Come on so many people that you yourself can't keep your eyes off and plus your hormones are loose Three: People need to focus in school because guys/gurls in their teens don't know what they want in life. Like me of course, but I do have my goals. It's all about making the right choices. Panda, Oops so sorry(how stupid and embarrassing!) Won't happen again. Oh and about the girl burning up the school, that is quite similar to the one my school had this year. See it was six period and this guy in my classroom went to the bathroom and seconds later we smell smoke. So we started alerting the classrooms at our floor. So it ended up he lit the bathroom on fire by throwing weed and burning it So stupid. He was arrested and i'm sure ghe's going to jail for a while. Of course he did burn the boys bathroom and now the school has to fix it. plus our school is poor already! :flaming:
Richard Doherty
You're not the only one whose had someone they wanted to off. There's this one kid I know, and I cannot express how much I hate him. The blend of arrogance and stupidity are unbearable in him. In fact I was so full of rage I brought a knife with me one day. Also I had a dramatic change in disposition. Didn't do homework, didn't go to class, sometimes not going to school. But just like my signature says, "Sometimes you have to walk through the darkness to reach the light
Persona
Well, I had this one teacher I hated so much, just as much as he hated me. It was this stupid physics teacher I had. See it all started when I asked to use the restroom. he said no to me and I told him, "How come you let her get a drink of water and i can't even use the restroom." So I just ignored him and walked out. So he wrote me up and I brought my mother down to my school. Problem solved, didn't have to do detention. But I knew one thing, that he hated my guts. So throughout the year it was war. What really pissed me off and made me go crazy,, was when it was the seniors last week. See I was a senior and doing good in physics, so that class was the least of my worries. I went to class and asked him whats my grade. He asked me were's the test he gave me to take home and I told him he never gave me one. So he came up with this lie saying that he gave it to me and that I cut class. So I was mad and he also said this one test counts as a big grade. Come on thats such bull####. I handed in all my finals and everything else. Even if I got an E for a grade I would still pass. So he made up lies and I brought my mom and my administrater. My administrater told the teacher to give me the test and he never did give it to me and then he lied to my mom. My mom asked my administrater and he said no. So the stupid teacher lied to both of them, but the messed up thing was that he gave me an F and I was pissed off! So I had to end up taking summer school. My mom wanted to kick his butt, because she wanted me to cross the stage. I told her not to worry, because I'm not going to give up.
ChibiHorsewoman
Quite possibly my most favorite drama moment in high school was when this girl thought I was trying to steal her boyfriend (oddly enough this was around the same time that it was going through school that I was a lesbian. Well, damn it I guess I was just a bisexual and didn't know it! ) This girl would stalk me in my classes and threaten me. She was really freaking out because I rode the same bus that her boyfriend did so she thought I was trying to seduce him. This guy (her boyfriend) BTW used to be a friend of mine and actually gave the girl my phone number along with calling me himself and telling me to leave his girlfriend alone. The whole thing was rather comical after a while because after him and her decided to drive by my house, my brother and one of his friends followed their car to the local movie theater and keyed the crap out of it and broke one of the windows. Which ended up with me getting a note in my locker calling me a lebo and a dyke. Which confused me because I was pretty sure that if I was indeed a lesbian I wouldn't go after some girl's boyfriend but some boys girlfriend since that's how being a lesbian works, right? The whole thing finally died down after the girl's boyfriend graduated from high school. I actually ended up running into the guy two years ago by that time he was engaged...to another girl. He ended up appologizing to me, buT I couldn't remember why until he told me. And if anyone is wondering why I don't have a good story about being a lesbian well, I don't even know how that started except some girl said I was staring at her. Maybe I was just wondering why the hell she was dressed so badly.
wrist cutter
When I was in 8th grade, we had to watch this corny student produced news show every day before or after lunch, I can't remember which. So anyway, it was boring and a waste of taxpayer money. So as usual we just talked amongst ourselves during this time. Well eventually our teacher had had it with us and told us she'd send us to... I dunno. The office I guess. I apparently was talking and she told me at the end of the news thing that tomorrow I'd have to go down to the office to get my referral or whatever the hell it is. Anyway, I wasn't going to take that laying down. I had already been sent to the office earlier that year for throwing pinecones, but got off with just a 'warning'. This second time would mean something more serious. What, I dunno. So that night I wrote up a persuasive essay to persuade my teacher not to send me to the office. The next day I handed it to her before school, without telling her what it was or anything, and I left and went to my other classes. When I got to her class that day, she pulled me aside, and told me that not only would she forget about what happened, that she wanted to use my essay as an example for persuasive essays in the following years. Damn, I'm awesome. Even though most stories I tell about how awesome I am are fake, this one is actually real and about the closest thing I have to 'drama'. Persona
See that's what I hate, when people start thinking too much. That stupid girl who thought you were trying to steal her BF, well she's just insecure about herself. That was mean about the BF to back off his girfriend and calling you a lesbo. I mean that's mean to say to someone. People are who they are, why do these people in school or anyone else discriminate? I have a friend who's bisexual and I still act the same around him. At first I suspected my friend was, but I didn't go accusing or blurting it out to my friend. I waited till my friend told me and was glad when my friend did, because that made it easier for me to understand my friend's situation. But I must say it was stressful when I'm in school with my friend, because that's where my friend breaksdown. Hey Wrist Cutter, you sure must be a natural average genius. I mean to get away with you getting in trouble and your essay being used as a model for the students is cool. Me I usaully have to argue all the way into I get my way. I always get my way with the teacher when it comes to getting in trouble(when I know I'm right). School......can't wait into I'm done with that crap. Although I will be going to college! That could be the reason she thought her boyfriend wanted me. HetepKa
Drama in my school?? Everyday is like a soap opera  But if I must tell theone of them, I'd tell thsi one: Once we where just all in class, doing nothing in particular, and suddenly we heard voices of men running around (My school is an all girls school, so it's pretty odd to hear men) and then we heard the fire alarm, now, the first you'd think is "Those men set it off... And I'm sure that was the TV repair guy looking for soda or something..." But, guess what? WRONG ANSWER! We were all quickly evacuated from the school and we spent like 3 hours outside, waiting to see what happened, and then we saw a couple of trucks with especially trained police, sorta like a SWAT team in my country, go into the building with guns and all, and of course, we got scared, and as usual rumors started spreading, some were crazy, like "The government set a bomb here because we didn't pay taxes" but, one of the was true, turns out those men we heard before were the TV repair guy and his assistant, but, the were actually looking for a bomb, yes, a bomb had been planted in my school. We knew this later becasue a teacher had gotten a phone call earlier telling her that there was bomb inside the school, that was gonna explode near midday, and that is she didn't want the students to get hurt, she had to evacuate the building NOW, the TV repairman was with that teacher, which nearly fainted, and went to see if he could find the bomb, he had had experiences like this before, and knew where it could be hiding. Well, this is the best one I got, and I hope it's good enough!! Back from a long vacation away from the OB has gotten me a little dumb  Peace to all!!! Have a good day!! Vash IDK
I hated school with a passion. In my eight grade year, one of my aunts died a horrible death, (please don't ask how btw, not really fun to explain in details. :) ) and that same month, my other aunt was diagnosed with Cancer, and wasn't expected to live much longer. I had this English teacher who had it out for me. Previously, she had given me after school tutorial because I was puzzled to the meaning of a certain word. So in front of the class, she announced that since I didn't know how to look words up in a dictionary, I had to take an after school class for a week to make up for it. Talk about rude. So, when she handed me the slip, I crumpled it up in front of her and stuffed it in my bag. I never went. :) She wasn't very happy with me after that. I think she was just extra pmsy that day or something. Anyhway, when that happened to my aunts in the same month, I let her know I was going to be gone for a week for the services and so on. I had to travel across the state for these services btw, so that's why it took so long. When I came back to school, I was met by an angry group of students. It appears that the teacher decided that since I was gone so much, my group would suffer as well. And so instead of giving the group a A for a project, she gave everyone a C. After I explained to them why I was gone, they weren't angry at all with me. Actually, to my surprise, they were actually very supportive. I was as mad as hell at that moment with my teacher. But I kept my cool and asked her why the group got a C along with me. She replied cooly saying that since I wasn't there, it was only fair to give them a C. I reminded her as to why I was gone, and she said she remembered, but thought a week was a ridiculous amount of time to be gone. So needless to say, I hated that teacher. :)
amibasuki
most 'drama' I've been a part of happened in middle school, hard to believe. one incident involved a pathological liar who I simply broke ties with, and another one involved a friend of mine who had almost the entire female 7th grade against her because she was agnostic and not Christian (like the hick girls that picked on her). that one was Horrible; during the worst of it, a couple of the somewhat popular girls had rallied literally almost all of the girls on the break field to march over to where she (let's call her Lucy) and I were hanging out to badger us and see what trouble they could cause (about half of them were just onlookers, while the other half did the jeering). most of the insults sounded like, "So if you don't believe in God, do you think you evolved out of a monkey? or maybe a cow?", with some various typical junior-high name-calling intermixed in it all. after about five minutes of hearing what they all had to say, she and I walked inside and went to the counselor's office, where she did absolutely nothing, other than talk about how a few of the girls (whose names she wouldn't disclose) had told her that Lucy was bulimic and had threatened to kill herself, and wanted to get her guardian's name and phone number to 'talk to her about some things.' that particular experience is half the reason why I have a loathing for closed-minded people; especially those who use religion to put others down. Godelsensei
It's silly, when one gets right down to it. I mean, think about it: the years you spend in school are probably the ones that require the least amount of effort or work. At least, they should be. Most kids don't have to worry at all about anything to do with taxes or washing their own underwear. Your parents are there for you to depend almost entirely upon, and your only real obligation is to learn in school. If you want to get a job, it most-likely isn't necessary for your survival. Basically, being a kid is a time to free-load and goof off, and shouldn't be wasted on intentional angst-attacks. I've seen people get themselves into knots over "boyfriends" and "girlfriends", and I usually just chuckle inwardly and continue to read comic books during math class. The fact that most school drama is imagined still remains. I prefer to have fun.
Vash IDK
LOL, everyone prefers to have fun, but whether or not circumstances allow us to is a different story. (btw, I also enjoyed laughing at the kids who would cry about boyfriends or girlfriends. :) ) But then again, I wasn't dealing with their problems, so I guess that's what made it easy for me to laugh at them. But now that I'm done with school, I really can't say I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the kid life and being a kid, but as far as school went, what is there to enjoy? Ezekiel
*sighs* Allow me to add to this rather interesting thread.... My school is in Liverpool, the main congregation of scalls (the ?hard-men?) and thugs. Now, if you're from Liverpool, don?t shoot me down, I am too and I'm merely making an observation...anyways... We have major problems in our school, but a drama for me occurs everyday, almost ever lesson and certainly every lunchtime, but it's something that I have grown used too....like cheese adverts on TV....annoying, but not a damn thing in hell you can do about it. Let me introduce the characters in this parody: Me- Jamie Stalker Bisexual- Caitlin My friends who think that this is hilarious- *beep beep* .... *cough* Okay, I come to school and I'm greeted by my two best friends, Natalie and Melissa, who come up and hug me with a nice 'hello'. I hug back and as I go to sit down I am forcefully glomped by Caitlin, who is calling me 'her Jamie', 'Jam-Jam' or if I'm lucky, 'Jay'. So, I pat her on the back, force a smile onto my face and walk off grumbling about the damn girl, ignoring the laughs of my friends. So, lesson time, usually English. I sit down next to my friend Joe, who has got the Caitlin problem down and usually just tells her to '**** off'....which she doesn?t...but that really is beside the point. She comes over to my desk when my teacher is out the room and hugs me around the neck like we're dating or something, I sigh and say my usual bored greeting of, 'Hello, Caitlin' and continue with my work as she happily talks to me while clinging to my neck. When she has to go, she has the audacity to kiss me on the cheek before leaving for her desk. As I swear, there is a chorus of laughter from my friends and then the teacher enters and i put my usual face back on again, scrubbing my cheek to get the germs away. Now, you may think that the problem I have is that she is bi, that's not it at all, my best friend is, the problem I have is that she won?t leave me alone. A guy would feel the same with a girl and a girl would feel the same with a guy, so don?t get me wrong. I drop hints, I act cold too her but she seems to like me even more. I moved up from being a good friend, to top of her 'Crushes' list, especially after I got my hair cut short...then she really would leave me alone *sighs* ...I think I've complained enough, I'll be sure to add more if anything else happens after the holidays...God forbid.... Oh, and WristCutter, your post, no matter how un-related it was, was wonderfully amusing.

Kanariya
Ah, the school drama. The stuff that just annoys me is the whole 'boyfriend, girlfriend' crap. They take it so seriously, too seriously for me. I usually ignore it, but if I have to talk, I say 'yeah' or 'whatever', something like that. Especially with one of my friends; she went through about 5 guys last year, their relationships only lasting for about five days, or if she got lucky, a week. And I know why she attracted them so easily now. One, our school wears uniforms, and on dress down days, she would wear the tightest clothing, with her breasts were just...boom. Sometimes I wonder if she stuffed toilet paper in her shirt. XD I have a friend to goes to a school nearby my home (which I don't go to), and she said there was a big food fight, and the cafeteria doors were all locked up so the students couldn't run away. She told me some people ran home because they were afraid of being caught in the food fight. And there were plenty of bomb threats there too, but there was never a bomb. A friend that lives slightly far away goes to a middle school that she says is just horrible. The worst that has happened so far she told me was that a middle schooler commited suicide and two other boys got ran over a train. (there was a traintrack nearby) And compared to my school, we're wussies. The worst that has happened was that someone lit a trashcan on fire. >.> A trashcan. Pitiful, isn't it?
