RPG Rurouni Kenshin: Time Flows On [PG-L]

Sequel to the uberly popular RPG, "Rurouni Kenshin: River of Time"

It was two months after the seven kids, Katana, Yuka, Kurumi, Yuki, Amaya, Kit, and Kaz, had been transported back from the Meiji Era. Ever since then, they had been talking on and on about their adventure with Kenshin and his friends, even though no one would believe them. (And honestly, who would?)

Every two weeks or so, they'd get together and start remnicing about "the good old days," acting out their favorite parts of their journey and such. Strangely enough though, they'd always find a chance to use their powers then. Kaz poofing around, stealing food from everyone, Katana, Yuka, and Kurumi fighting with each other, so on and so forth.

Then, as a sort of reunion, they decided to go camping together on the first day of summer vacation. Their parents, thinking they were all "sensible young adults," allowed them to go unsupervised.

"You guys are goin' off to high school," Katana said sadly to Kurumi, Kit, Kaz, and Amaya on the ride there.
"Yes," Kit started, "It'll be nice to get away from you three-" His eyes briefly scanned Yuka, Katana, and Yuki. "-I MEAN, we'll miss you guys!"
Yuki and Katana scowled while Yuka, who had intended to punch Kit, was now gagging from being restrained by the seatbelt.

The first night, after Amaya had lit the campfire, the group had felt some strange yet fairly familiar feeling. They had all been sent into a dark void, and as they looked around in the void, they saw their clothes changing.

Before they could figure out what was going on, the seven fell onto the ground, in a strange and very familiar area. As they looked around their new surroundings, they heard welcoming voices.

"Kit? Kaz? Amaya? Yuka? Yuki? Katana? Kurumi?"
"Oh my God, is it really you guys?"
"Great...their back..."

That last voice rilled up Yuka. "You better shut up Yahiko! Or I'll....wait a second! Hold the phone! If thats Yahiko, Kenshin, and Kaoru, and we're all in our Meiji Era clothes...then we must be..." She said.
A voice from the kids called out to her. "No duh, Kimono Girl!" They said. Yuka growled but made no response.

As the two groups started speaking, yet another familiar occurance occured. Yuka winced in pain as she was stabbed by a dagger in her arm. Looking around and seeing nobody there, she yelled into the sky. "Yeah! Thats real original Dagger-Dude, or Annocite, or whatever the hell your name is!" She yelled, shaking her fist.

The others sighed. "We have to fight this dude again...? Can't we just hang out here once without being threatened by him? Man this sucks..." Kaz sighed.

Suddenly, a rustle in the bushes anda man clad in black signaled that their enemy had shown himself. Just as the group stood up, the figure vanished. "Aconite I am not. I am his teacher, and I shall not let his death go unpunished. You seven shall fight me soon, and I am stronger than he by many." His voice said from nowhere.

Yuki laughed. "Yeah, but your grammer skills are less than perfect. You talk like friggen Yoda." She said. The others, except Kaoru, Kenshin and Yahiko, burst out laughing.
"Who's...Yoda?" Yahiko asked quietly.

[font=Lucida Console][size=1][color=#0000ff]When everyone was sure that their new enemy was gone, Yuki kneeled next to Yuka. "Hold still, Kimono Girl." She said, attempting to pull out Yuka's dagger. Yuka growled and swung her fist at Yuki, who merely dodged it and yanked the dagger out. "Gotta remember, Yuka, regular punches are stuff we all can avoid. Kenshin, do you have any bandages?" She asked. Kenshin nodded and went back into the dojo, coming out with Megumi, Sano, and a bunch of medical stuff.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Console][size=1][color=#0000ff]"Hi guys." The middle schoolers said in unison, Katana running up to Sano and hugging him. As Sano tried to pull her off, Megumi and Yuki started wrapping up Yuka's dagger wound. "Since when did you learn medical skills, Yuki?" Megumi asked when they were done. "Me? After we got back to my own time, it turned out my mom got a new job as a nurse. I went to work with her a lot, and so I learned a bunch of stuff.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Console][size=1][color=#0000ff]Everyone started catching up with each other. They had already forgotten that they had a menacing new enemy. "Why don't we go inside and eat. Its getting pretty late, already." Kaoru said. Everyone had instatly agreed on food. "One condition." Kaz said, grinning. "Kaoru and Yuki don't cook." Yuki and Kaoru instantly punched Kaz. "People improve their skills, you know." They told him in bitter unison.[/color][/size][/font]

OOC: Hey ya'll! I'm thinking (THINKING) about doing a pic of all of us (yes, even Kaz). My art skills have improved a lot since that last pic. It's not guaranteed, I'm just thinking about it...

Once everyone was seated around the dojo with dinner (thankfully made by Kenshin), conversation erupted everywhere. Katana had purposefully sat right next to Sanosuke and was pestering him to no end. Yuka and Yahiko were arguing as usual, this time over who could eat the most rice. Kaz was attempting to teleport around the room and steal everyone's food, until Kaoru caught him and gave him a nasty bump on the head with a nearby wasabi bowl. Yuki was telling Megumi about the wonders of modern medicine.
"...and they have these HUGE needles, like 3 feet long..."
"Oh my..."
Kurumi was conversing with Kenshin, and Kit and Amaya were watching Yuka and Yahiko's argument with interest.

She mumbled as she stuffed more rice into her mouth. Kaz grumbled as he got. "Better watch out Yuki, or I'll go get a camera..." He said. Both Sano and Yuki gave Kaz a look of horror. "No...you wouldn't..." Yuki muttered as she looked away from Kaz fearfully, and ate more and more to distract her mind from pictures and cameras.[/color][/size][/font]

"But aren't you seven afraid of your new enemy? He knows where we are and he knows yor skills. He should be stronger than Annocite, and that's a problem, that it is. We had a big problem last time, didn't we?" He asked.[/color][/size][/font]

Kurumi helped herself to more rice as she watched the fight between Yuka and Yahiko raged on. *BANG!* "And he's down!" Kit nararated. Yuka stood victorious ontop of Yahiko's back with a huge smirk on her face. She dug her heels into his back and then stomped on his head while marching back to the table. Kurumi couldn't help but smile at her.
Kurumi looked back down at her rice that she was holding, which made her think of a picture she had drawn a few days before the camping trip. The picture had been of a huge sumo with tiny little arms and legs sticking out at a weird angle. She had drawn him engulfing a huge bowl of rice. "Got Sumo?" Kurumi blurted out. Just about everyone turned and looked at her in a weird way, but Kaz snorted into his tea and spilled it all over himself. "Slick move." Kurumi muttered, handing him a cloth. He grabbed it and started moping the tea of his lap and face.
"Hey! It was your fault, if you hadn't said that---" Kaz started.
"You were the one drinking the tea." Kurumi stated simply, "I didn't [I]make[/I] you do it." Kaz opened his mouth but then closed it. Instead of coming up with a snappy come-back, he shoved her into Kenshin.
"Gah!" Kurumi said as she collided with Kenshin's side. Bumping into him caused Kenshin to spill some hot water he had been picking up into Kaoru's lap.
"OOOOOUUUCCCCHHHH!!!!!!" Kaoru screamed as she jumped up and ran out of the room. Kaz chuckled slightly but Kurumi quickly shoved him back. Kaz threw the tea-soaked cloth right into Kurumi's face as defense. Kurumi dived at Kaz and hoisted herself onto his back and kicked him in the kidney area.
"Ride horesy, RIDE!!!!" Kurumi yelled as Kaz started running around the room trying to fling her off.
Seizing the moment of chaos, Yuka took out her squeaky hammer and started bashing everyone in the head. Kenshin had gotten up and was trying to calm everyone down.
Kaz had finally resorted to trying to tickle Kurumi to get her off, which just led her into a fit of giggles. He tripped over Yuki, whom was huddled on the floor, and fell face forward into a wall. Despite the huge lump on his forehead, Kaz fell over and started laughing. Kurumi had finally let go and was sprawled on the floor next to Kaz, also laughing.
After about five minutes, Kenshin had accomplished getting everyone calmed down. Kaoru then walked back in to the room after recovering from the hot water. The room was a wreck, a hole in the wall, food all over the table and floor, things had fallen everywhere, and mostly everyone was nursing wounds from Yuka while Kaz and Kurumi were still spread across the floor. "Did I miss anything?" Kaoru asked in a puzzled voice.
"Well... that was interesting." Sano said after a few seconds of silence.

Alright! So, where are the boys? ^^

Katana started clicking her chopsticks together. Yuka followed, and soon, the two were clicking their sticks to "La Cookaracha".
Kenshin was cleaning up the mess made by Kurumi and Kaz, staring hard at the hole in the wall.
"Guess we should get to bed," Amaya said suddenly, sitffling a yawn.
"NO WAY!" Yuka shouted at once, dropping her chopsticks. "I WANNA ROAST MARSHAMALLOWS! WE WERE SENT HERE BEFORE I COULD!!!"
The six kids sweatdropped as Yuka starting banging the table in a chant. "I want s'mores! I want s'mores!"
"S'mores?" Yahiko asked curiously, peeling his eyes away from Yuka.
"Yeah, they're really good," Kurumi said, staring into space. "It's like a sammich. There's a graham cracker, chocolate, marshamallows, chocolate, and another graham cracker." She licked her lips and sighed. "What a great, sugary treat."
"You know, one day we should just sit down and go over stuff from our era," said Katana with a sigh.
"No thanks," Yahiko replied, huffing. "Having you guys here is bad enough."
"We should all go to bed, that we should," said Kenshin, smiling cheerfully. "The rooms are still the same as last time, that they are."
"YAYYYYY!!!" Kurumi, Yuka, and Katana cried happily, running out of the room and thumping down the hallway. The rest sweatdropped and followed.
"...and then, attached to the needles are these tubes with filled with vaccines and stuff, and some are even used to suck out your blood!"
"Oh my..."

Kit couldn't stiffle his laughter as they walked to their rooms. The scene in the dining room was as weird as any of the others the last time they had come here. Amaya glanced over at kit, her face splitting into a wide grin as an inquisitive light danced in her eyes.

"I just realized you laugh more here in this era, than back in ours." Kit shook his head still smiling, Yuki and yahiko were starting to argue over which of them knew Sanoske better.

"I live with the guy! Of course I know him better!'

"I've watched every episode in the series, I know him better!"

Kit stopped at the door to his room, the floor board in front of it still sqeaked when he stepped on it.

"I feel just a little bit more relaxed here. It feels...more like home to me." Amaya nodded as Sano walked be carrying a furiously squirming Yahiko. Kit and Amaya kissed each other softly. They pulled away quickly when they heard Yuki start to gag while Katana started her 'oooooooooooo' ing.

"Good night Amaya."
"Good night kit." They both went into their rooms glancing briefly at each other as their doors slid shut.

Kaz poofed out of his room and stood in the dojo's court yard," I really need to learn to sleep better,"he thought.
Since their return insomnia had won a war wiht Kaz that hd been brewing for years.
Kaz started to poof around the courtyard trying ou his old moves and trying to make some new ones. His Katar had lost thier demon glow, but he had come to realise who had made them, Murasame.(OOC: Masamune and Murasame are real swords people!! They were the yin and yand of forged steele)
" We're in Kyoto, so i might be able t find out where Saito lives now, if he hasn't changed his name yet" Kaz poofed out of the court yard in search of his idol.
For seven wholehours he searched every house in Kyoto, not one person was Saito, nor his alter ego Goro. " [i]heh heh demon boy is now a suspect in several breaking and enertings, I wonder if the policemen have forgotten us...Then again how could they forget us, first 20 mins we were here we killed like 8 policemen"[/i] he thought. Kaz poofed back to the dojo right before sun up and went to sleep in his favorite tree, nly to be awakened five minuets later by Katana 'mind sweeping' for him. (OOC: Mind sweeping: the act of searching for someone using a telepathic link)

Katana tried in vain to cover a yawn as she almost slammed the back door to the dojo clsoed. She scuffle along the familar hallway from the anime and turned into the kitchen, where Kaoru was trying to make breakfast.
"Hey," Katana said in a stale voice, shuffling into the kitchen. "Want some help?"
Kaoru looked up from peeling a potato, her eyes narrow. "Why?"
"Well, I need to kill time. And I want to prove to the gang I can cook."
Kaoru sighed. "Whatever. Go over there and make the riceballs, okay?"
"Yeah, sure," Katana muttered, looking over at the ingredients at her disposle. "Well, the rice is good. The seaweed is nice and fresh...ooh! Yes, this is great!" And she worked, her hands flying like mad.

"Yay! Breakfast!" Yuka cried out, stumbling into the eating room and plopping down onto a pillow with an 'oomph'.
"The food looks...deformed," Kaz murmured rather loudly. "Did Kaoru and Yuki team up again?"
"SHUT UP!" Yuki and Kaoru yelled together, each slamming a fist onto Kaz's head.
"For your information, I was asleep until ten minutes ago, so I couldn't have made breakfast!" Yuki said hotly, picking up a rather demented riceball and pouring herself some cold green tea. The others followed suit (with the exception of Kaz, knocked out on the floor and missing some teeth), chattering on about the present and Meiji eras, discussing their differences, and Yuka claiming she had flooded the girls bathroom at school by misusing her powers.
"If anything, [i]I[/i] would be the most likely to do that," Katana said, stuffing another riceball into her mouth. "I mean, I can use water powers and flood stuff. Or maybe Amaya, she could've blown sommin' up."
Kit snatched up the last riceball and scarfed it down. "Well, whoever made the riceballs is pretty good. Thanks Kenshin."
Kenshin looked at Kit, curiosity scripted onto his face. "Oro? I didn't make the food this morning. I was out doing laundry."
"But then...who..." His eyes scanned the group, all staring at him.
"Katana was in the kitchen with me," Kaoru said finally.
"Katana can't cook," said Kaz, who had just recovered.
"KARATE CHOP!" Katana screeched, pounding Kaz relentlessly in the head.
"And...she made the riceballs."
Sanouske spit out his tea. "WHAT? What do you mean? Everyone knows that the only person that can cook in this place is Kenshin!"
"Hehe, I did," said Katana smally, a grin creeping onto her face. "So there! NYA NYA NYA! I PROVED SANOUSKE WRONG! *gasp* SANO!" She suddenly vaulted over the table and straight into him. "SANOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

And, uh, since when were we in Kyoto? o_O Doesn't the RK gang reside in Tokyo?

OOC: I forgot... It's been so long since I've watched the show, I can't remember. I think you're right though... Yeah, I think they were originally in Tokyo, and then there was the "Kyoto Arc" where Kenshin goes to fight Shishio and all that good stuff. (where'd Kurumi go?)

Amaya was the first to actually compliment Katana's cooking. "These are very good. Much better than my dad makes, anyway. I was never good at it..."

Katana looked up from half-glomping, half-strangling Sano to smile at her. "At least [I]someone[/I] is appreciative around here."

Kenshin nodded. "Now I won't have to cook as much, that I won't. Maybe you could help Kaoru-dono learn-" He received the "evil tanuki glare of doom". "-I mean, [I]improve[/I]."

"Or maybe Kenshin and Katana can do all the cooking from now on," said Yahiko. "Instead of Ugly," he added.

That began Kaoru's daily onslaught of Yahiko, and Yuka joined in just for the hell of it. By this time Sano's head was brandishing a sweatdrop the size of Mt. Rushmore. Yuki kept insisting that it could be used to drown Kaz.

[font=Lucida Console][size=1][color=blue]Yuki watched interestingly as Kaoru and Yuka kicked the crap out of Yahiko. When they were finished, everyone had finished eating breakfast. "Here, I'll do the dishess..." Yuki said, picking up and stacking all the dishes in her arms. On her way out of the room, she gave Yahiko one last kick, just to move him away from the doorway.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Console][size=1][color=#0000ff]The group started chatting excitedly until there was a loud POOF, a scream, and a very large sound of crashing dishes. Everyone filed into the hallway and saw Kaz standing up nervously, trying to calm down Yuki, who had screamed and fell over and was now becoming increasingly angry at Kaz for making her drop all the dishes. Before she had a chance to lunge at Kaz, Amaya and Kaoru grabbed a hold of her to restrain her. "Better watch out Kaz, the next time I see a fish...I'm going to smack you around the whole dojo with it." She muttered as she started cleaning up the shards of the used-to-be dishes.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Console][size=1][color=#0000ff]"Kenshin! Sano!" She called. The two eventually made their way to her. "I need some cash. Can I borrow some? Its to buy more dishes..." She said after cleaning up the dishes (unfortunately by using the wind to blow the outside where she buried them). "Here I'll come with you, Ms. Yuki. I wouldn't want you to spend too much, that I wouldn't." Kenshin said, leading Yuki outside.[/color][/size][/font]

Kit watched from the courtyard as Yuki and kenshin left through the front gates. Yuki was jabbering exitedly and nonsensically to kenshin about plastic and paper dishes ans the things you could do with them.

" Yeah!! the plastic dishes can be used as Frisbees(SP?)

"Oro?"

"Yup! wait for soemone to walk by and yell 'CATCH' when you throw it at their head!"

Kenshin smiled and sweatdropped at her " Thes plastic dishes of yours sound kind of dangerous."

"My mom says they're only dangerous when I'm around." Kit stiffled his laughter as Kenshin sweatdropped again. He looked back at the ground in the courtyard, thinking out loud...

"Been a few months since I've actually used my powers. Wonder if they've atrophied?"(sp?)

He closed his eyes, he reached deep within his being, focusing on his energies. He felt a familiar rush, along with the same tingling feeling as he willed the earth to rise up from the ground taking the shape of 6ftx6ft mound of dirt and stone. He slowly opened his eyes, which lit up in delight as he saw mound.

"WOOHOO!" he thrust his hand into the air, making a V for victory

"I can still manipulate the earth." He looked back to the mound.

[I]Hmmm...I wonder...heh heh...PERFECT!!!"[/I] He began using his powers to shape the mound into a statue...of yuki beating Kaz with a fish, Katana Balancing an Sanoske's head wearing a dunce cap.

"[I]I've never really felt this way before, maybe it's just cause I'm in the meji era with my friends. I'm sure they wont mind this...[/I]

Kurumi watched with interest as Kit carved the statue out of the piece earth he had conjured from the ground. As soon as it was completed, she started laughing. Kit stood there with a look of thought spread across his face. A smirk flashed across Kurumi's face as she summoned a small dark orb in her right palm. She quickly threw it at his back and--- "FFFFFFFF******KKKKKKK!!!!!!" Kit screeched. He turned around to see who had attacked him and started toward Kurumi, whom was looking around innocently and faintly whistling.
As Kit got closer, Kurumi said, " Awfully nice day, isn't it?" But then ran in the other direction, Kit sprinting to keep up with her. He finally was able to snatch part of her hair and yanked so she would stop. "Owwwww!!! Stop it!" Kurumi said playfully, not sounding hurt at all. Kit kicked her to the ground and put his knee into her back while still yanking on her hair. "MERCY MERCY MERCY!!!!!!" Kurumi started screaming, but with a hint of amusement and laughter in her voice.
"That really hurt Kurumi!!!" Kit growled into her ear.
"Jeez, who knew you were so [i]violent[/i]. I was only playing around buddy." Kurumi said, still not taking the situation seriously.

I mean, [i]pulling a girls hair to pin her down[/i]! Tut tut tut." Kaz said rounding on Kit. Kit quickly let go of Kurumi's hair but still kept his knee to her back. Kaz rolled his eyes and pushed Kit off of Kurumi and helped her up.
"Bye bye!" Kurumi said, waving to Kit as Kurumi and Kaz poofed out of sight. Kit sweatdropped and fell over due to the pain on his back.

"How is Kit's back?" Kurumi asked coming into the room where they were treating the wound on Kit's back. Megumi looked up.
"He should be fine... [i]if he quits whining[/i]." Megumi said crossly looking over at Kit whom was laying on a blanket with Amaya sitting by him. "Do you have the bandages?" Megumi asked looking back up at Kurumi.
"Yeah, here you go." Kurumi replied and handed the bandages to Megumi. Megumi got up and went over to Kit.
"Lift up your shirt." She instructed. Kit did as he was told. Kurumi got a glimps of a huge dark red mark on his back that was starting to turn a dark purple. It looked as if the strongest person on earth went up to his and just smacked him in the back. Kurumi grimanced and left.

Katana finally mangaed to pull herself away from Sanouske and headed for the front door. She heard Kit screeching from the pain in his back and grinned sheepishly.
Once outside, Katana nearly missed the rubbled pile of earth that was supposed to be the statue Kit had made. It was missing huge chunks here and there, but when she (vaguely) identified herself, she blasted a a jet of water at it, making it crumble back into the ground.
"STUPID FRESHMAN!" she yelled at the top of her lungs, making her throat hurt. "Man, they didn't have cough drops in the Meiji Era, did they?"
Katana wandered around the yard aimlessly, kicking up clods of mud here and there from Kit's former statue. There was a sudden [i]poof[/i] and Kaz appeared in front of her.
"Hey Kat," he said in a slightly hollowed voice, glancing over her shoulder at the mud slop. "Was it you that destroyed Kit's [i]beautiful[/i] creation?" he said sarcasticly.
"No, Spiderman did it."
"Really? Ah, well, later!" Another poof, and Kaz vanished.
"He's really stupid," Katana muttered under breath, slipping out from the Dojo gate and walking to the market area in hopes of finding Kenshin and Yuki.
"You there, girl! Stop!"
Katana sighed and turned around, facing a policeman. "You are violating the swords act! Lay down your weapons at once!"
"But sir, I didn't [i]choose[/i] to have these weapons," Katana replied in a poinsoned sweet tone.
The policeman was taken aback. "[i]Excuse me?[/i]"
"I didn't choose to have these weapons," she replied slowly. "It's not my fault I come from the future and -"
"Stop," the man said, holding up his hand. "I have heard of this nonsense from the residents of the Kamiya dojo, who claim that seven mysterious children from the future landed in the city of Kyoto two months ago."
"They're right, ya know," Katana said, fingering her sword hilt. She didn't plan on drawing it, maybe scaring the daylights out of the man, but not killing him. "There's seven of us - two boys and five girls - we come from the future, over one hundred years from now." This was getting more and more entertaining by the second.
"You are speaking complete fiction! Nothing like that could ever happen - wait! Where do you think you're going?"
"I'm going shopping old man," Katana replied, burshing a loose strand of hair from her face. "You can stop me, and you could even seize my weapons, but that's not going to stop me, ya know."
"What are you talking about?"
"So the Kenshin-gumi didn't mention this, huh? Well..." Katana concentrated mildly, and a gush of water emerged from her open palm. "Powers are nifty, you know," she added, walking away casually as the policeman gawked between the puddle and Katana.

Kit shivered. Weather it was from the ice on his bruised back, or Yuki holding up that uniform, he wasn't sure, but he kept his silence about it either way. Mugumi finished tying the ice in place.

"There you go Kit, you can pull your shirt down." she said cheerfully.

"Thanks." slowly he stood up, grunting from the massive bruise.

[I]It's such a nice afternoon... slight breeze and just the right temperature....[/i] Kurumi thought to herself, but her thoughts were suddenly interupted by Kit's voice. [i]Amaya... such a tight ass...[/i] "WAHH!" Kurumi let out suddenly as she fell off the tree branch. Once she hit the ground, she looked around for the source of Kit's voice. Once she realized she had only heard his thoughts, she muttered 'weirdo' and got back up. She stormed back to the dojo, angery that someone's [i]thoughts[/i] interupted her almost nap. She snapped open the door and marched in with a ferious look on her face.
As she passed Kit she muttered, "Tight ass, huh?" Kit looked at her with wide eyes as his face turned a deep crimson.
"Why did you of all people have to hear that?!" Kit shot at her.
"Because I have the interesting channels implanted in my head..... how am I supposed to know, moron?" Kurumi shot back sarcastically.
"Someone's moody today." Kaz said from the other side of the room. Kurumi just gave him a sour look. "I'm sorry, did that mean old Kit do something to you again?" He replied to the look and walked over to her, arms outstreached. Kurumi let herself be embraced, digging her head into his chest.
"I didn't do anything! She just heard one of my thoughts about---- .... she just heard one of my thoughts and now she is pissed off for who knows what." Kit yelled in his defense.
"Maybe is was [i]what[/i] you thought that made her angery, Kit." Katana pointed out.
"Why would she care! It had nothing to do with her!" Kit said, but he realized that was the wrong thing to say because everyone surrounding him closed in.

"N-Nothing of your concern!" Kit stammered, his face still burning. He was soon chased out of the room.
"So, what did he do to you?" Kaz asked Kurumi once they were alone.
"Well, I was just about to fall asleep on the tree outside.... since I didn't get much sleep last night.... and Kit's thoughts invaded my head and I fell out of the tree!" Kurumi explained angrily.
"Ooohh.... my poor little Kurumi. I'll just have to deal with him later then." Kaz said smiling. "Sooo.... what was he thinking?" Kurumi smirked to this.
"He was just thinking about Amaya's ass." She replied as Kaz started laughing.
"Want to go see if they can get that out of him?" He asked, pointing to the next room where a lot a screams and crashes were taking place.

"Tight ass?" Katana asked to the newly captured Kit, bound with rope that had come from nowhere (it's the magic of RPing), and being carefully watched by herself, Kurumi, and Yuka.
Kit struggled against the bonds. "Isn't this inhumane?" he questioned, ignoring Katana's eariler comment.
"Maybe in 2004," said Yuka through a grin. "But not in the Meiji Era, neh? And even if it is, what's gonna happen?"
Kit sweatdropped. "Do you really wanna go to jail in the Meiji?"
"If they even tried," Kurumi started, "They wouldn't get very far. I mean, remember last time?"
"Yeah, we hacked up half a dozen police dudes," said Katana, looking at the ceiling with a smile on her face. "That was fun."
"It was unnessicary bloodshed, that it was." Kenshin strolled into the room, carrying what looked to be bandages. "It was very hard to explain to the police chief what had happened."
"Yeah, who would've believed that 'wittle kiddies' like us could chop up policeswordsman?" Yuka asked, her voice tinged with mockingness.
Kenshin sighed. "You were all given great abilities and inhuman powers. You should learn to use them wisely, not the way you use them now, that you should." Kenshin was, obviously, referring to the statue Kit had made, the painful back Kurumi had given Kit, and just the general way the kids used their powers.
"With great power comes great responsibility," said Yuka, beaming. "Go Spiderman!"
Katana, Kurumi, and Kit sweatdropped while Kenshin looked oddly at Yuka. Knowing better than what to ask what Spiderman was, he ignored her and continued. "Maybe you should all get jobs; it might teach you some responsibility."
"I highly doubt it'll work on these three," said Kit through clenched teeth. He would rather be selling fish than be bound up by these three wackos. "Working that fish stand with Kurumi was bad enough."
"The Akabeko took Yuki," Kurumi admitted. "So maybe they'll take us."
"Highly doubt it," Katana remarked. "We could be [i]entertainers[/i], but there's no way in hell I'm wearing a dress like that."
Kenshin sweatdropped and grinned. "Well, Kit, Miss Megumi gave me these bandages to give to you. She said something like it would be safer for me to come in here than her." With that, he strolled back out.
It took a few moments for Kit to realize what had happend. "KENSHIIIIIN!" he cried out in exasperation. "YOU MEAN YOU'RE LEAVING ME HERE WITH THESE NUTS?"

[size=1][color=darkblue]Kurumi grabbed a part of Kit's rope as he yelled after Kenshin. "C'mon." She said as she dragged him into the next room. Yuka and Katana followed them in as well. Kit looked at the three fearfully.
"Rape! R-RHAPE!" Kit screamed as they got closer.
"Calm down! We are just gonna re-bandage you!" Kurumi replied.
"Exactly!" Kit said. Kaz popped into the room and looked around.
"I had wondered where you guys were!" Kaz exclaimed as he sat down.
"Perfect timing, Kaz, we need you to pin him down while we re-bandage him!" Katana told Kaz cheerfully. Kaz hoisted himself back up and made his way over.
"Alrighty then!" He said happily and flipped Kit onto the ground, by this time Kit was rivers of tears were pouring down his face. Kaz sat on Kit's legs and held his shoulders down. Yuka, Katana, and Kurumi tore off the ropes and started putting fresh bandages on Kit's damaged back.
"TA DA!!!" The three girls said together as they finished. Kaz got up and left, Kit close behind, shooting terrified looks at the three girls as he hurried off. As soon as the boys were gone, they burst out laughing.[/color][/size]

Kaz tried hard to stiffle his laughter as they hurried off from the three maniacal, giggling, giddy middle school girls, but it wasn't working. Kit Winced as he hurled a rock at him, but kaz 'poofed' out of the way, and kit pegged Kouru instead.

"Oh shii-- *POW!* gaaahhh!" Kouru rounded on him smacking him upside the head wiwth her shinai. Yahiko chuckled behind, them talking to himself.

"Now what was that phrase one of those psycho's used...Oh yeah...HOME RUN!"

Kit lay there on thee ground, tears streaming down his face, vaugley aware of Kouru's voice blabbering to him, and Kaz's laughter.

[size=1][color=darkblue]Kurumi walked into the kitchen and looked around for some spare food, she was hungery after all since the whole Kit incident. Karou walked in a few minutes later and caught Kurumi by the sleeve. "Hey! You don't eat anymore than what we feed you, got it? Food costs MONEY! Go get a job or something if your that hungery!" She said firmly to Kurumi as she pushed her out of the kitchen. Kurumi stood outside the kitchen door for a few minutes then suddenly clenched her fists.
"FINE! Maybe I [b]will[/b] go get a job!" Kurumi huffed and stomped away from the dojo. "Yeah, I can do this! I don't need Karou's friggin support! I [b]will[/b] earn my own money. I'll show them..." Kurumi muttered after she had lost sight of the dojo. "Hmph." She marched into town looking around for wanted signs in all of the shops.
After a few hours, beginning to look rediculus, Kurumi lost hope. She punched a wall. "Dammit!" She finally said. Then she spotted an Inn about half the street away and she saw, quite clearly in the window.... a 'Help Needed' sign. [i]Oh no, oh no... wait.... OH YES![/i] Kurumi suddenly thought, [i]A JOB![/i] She hurried giddily over and headed into the Inn.

"Oh! Miss Kurumi, you are back! We were beginning to worry where you had wandered off to, that we were." Kenshin greeted her as she stepped back into the dojo about half an hour later. Someone snorted at the other end of the room.
"Not likely." Kit said quietly.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Kurumi said feriously.
"N-n-nothing, Kurumi! I swear to god, it was nothing." Kit quickly sputtered.
"That's what I thought!" Kurumi replied sternly. "Anyway, guess what? I got a job!" Kurumi said ecxitedly as she held up a box. She pulled a black and white uniform out of the box she was holding. "I'm a maid at the Inn!"
"Your not serious!" Kit said with a discusted look on his face. Yuka and Katana started laughing from across the room. Kurumi punched the three of them in the back of their heads.
"Shut up! And of course I'm serious!" Kurumi said angrily.
"Well, that's great that you found work!" Amaya spoke up cheerfully.
"Yeah, and this uniform looks great... can't wait to see it on you!" Kaz said happily squeezing Kurumi on the shoulder. This caused her to blush.
"Hey, at least I'm not the only one working now!" Yuki joined in.
"Yeah, but i can't see Kurumi [i]cleaning[/i] she's so [i]lazy[/i]..." Yahiko commented.
"Hey! If I need to, I work hard!" Kurumi shot back, her temple throbing.
"I think it's time to start making something to eat." Kenshin said, sweatdropping, trying to break the tension between everyone.[/color][/size]

Amaya scooted closer to Kit and whispered in his ear. "Looks like Kurumi's got a crush..."
Kit snorted. "Yeah, maybe it'll take her mind off of b*tchin' at me..."

"What's cute?" said Kaz, appearing behind them. Amaya sweatdropped.

Kit thought it over for a while, Gaurding his thoughts as he put his arm around amaya.

"Oh well...um...I dunno, I guess it is kind of cute...Like you said anyway, now that I think about it." They both snuggled closer. Amaya grinned wryly at him as they stared into the shimmering pools that were each other's eyes. "I like you better when you're more open like this>" Kit blushed, he'd been doing more of that too, lately.

He gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead before getting up, wincing a little in pain. The girls had wrapped the bandages tightly.

"Where are you going?" Kit only smiled at her before stepping outside.

Kit rubbed his hands together in the courtyard, gently focusing his power's. He gently brought up a smale slab of stone from the ground, using the rubble from his earlier statue to fill the hole back in.

" This should work perfectly." He sat outside the entire time till dinner was ready carving a small statue, of him...With all his friends, both from the modern time, and the meiji era.

"This WILL work..."
