Guest Aburame Shino
This is the the newest installment in the Onimusha series. Honestly Onimusha has never really caught my eye untill O3 came out. You get to play as 2 different characters, Samanoske Akechi and Jaques(???, played by Jean Reno). The battle system is great and the story is awsome! Zidargh
I myself have played this game and enjoyed it alot, however, I still feel I enjoyed Onimusha 2 more. I guess the RPG elements and real sense of companionship in Onimusha 2 brought out the appeal to me. The non-rendered graphics looked great as far as I'm concerned, and there was a real sense of realism. Especially with fire that looked like it could toast your marshmellows if you pressed them against the screen. Also, the animations were executed superbly, though I did experience quite a bit of slowdown on Jacques' side. This was strange considering there's a very
intense bit with hundreds of Genma and Oni fighting on the screen.
The sounds were accurate; From the gun shots, to the clanging of sword upon armour etc. The story, as well tied together it was, I still preferred the second as you actually could feel a connection to the Genma at some points. But yes, I agree with what you said completely, so there's no point me repeating what has been said.
