Anime Villains

I would have made this for all villains, video game and Anime, but I saw a topic made for this kind of thing for video game people already. :( Okay, on to business. I think that:

[COLOR=Blue]Coolest:[/COLOR] [B]Sesshomaru (Inuyasha)[/B] He takes little crap from anyone. That makes him pretty cool.
[COLOR=Magenta]Dorkiest:[/COLOR] [B]Ginyu Force (DBZ)[/B] The poses they make...(shudders). Nuff said.

[COLOR=Red]Best:[/COLOR] [B]Slade (Teen Titans)[/B] Not technically anime, but he is so damn cool
[COLOR=Pink]Worst:[/COLOR] [B]Box Ghost (Danny Phantom)[/B] Once again not anime, but the one episode of this show i saw had this guy in it at the end. He is the worst villain i have ever seen.

[COLOR=DarkGreen]Smartest:[/COLOR] [B]Naraku (Inuyasha)[/B] The plans he executes are masterful and malicious. He is the ultimate manipulator.
[COLOR=Plum]Dumbest:[/COLOR] [B]Ginyu Force (DBZ)[/B] They were all extremely dumb. Their leader probably had a meager mental advantage though.

[color=darkviolet]I think I actually like the villains much more than the good guys in either anime or american cartoons. So I like this thread.

[b]Coolest[/b] Well if you really want to get technical about coolness I'd say Beruesche from the Ayakashi sisters in the Black Moon arc of Sailor Moon. SHe had some kind of ice power and she managed to find out the Mizuno Ami was SailorMercury. And if that isn't enough...she was the first SailorMoon villain not to wear pants.

[b]Dorkiest[/b] Tomo from Fushigi Yugi. Okay, he had some cool mind control powers, but his ensamble was something for Queer Eye to get a hold of.

Also that mummy guy who was in the first few Episodes of the first season of Slayers. I especially liked when Lina freaked him out with her light spell.

[b]Best[/b] Best over all would have to be Kagura from InuYasha. She's strong. I liked when she tried to go after Naraku right after InuYasha attacked her with the Wind Scar for the first time. She's always fighting against being enslaved to Naraku even though he literally holds her heart in his hands. And you have to respect her for that. Also how she talks to Sesshomaru. No honorfics, no politeness just right up in your face.

[b]Worst[/b] Tellu of SailorMoon from the Death Busters in the third season. One shot villain. And she was beaten by Sailormoon chibimoon SailorPluto and her own plant.

[b]Smartest[/b] This is hard because there were quite a few smart villains. Nakago from Fushigi Yugi was definately the smartest though. I mean think about it. He tricked Yui into thinking [spoiler]she was raped and that miaka abandonded her. then he tricked the Suzaku seven into thinking that Suboshi was one of them. He tricked Tamahome into fighting the suzaku seven[/spoiler] and he did all that while being his evil self and never disquising who he was. Naraku only wishes (if he was real) that he could be half as smart as Nakago.

[b]Dumbest[/b] I have a long list of dumb villains to chose from. Rubius from SailorMoon R is an idiod because he blew up in his own space ship.

Lead Crow because she was sucked into her own black hole

Queen Beryl because she fell in love with Endymion.

I think I want to add funniest to this list of villains if it's okay with everyone else.

My choice of funniest villain would be Mimette from DeathBusters/ Witches 5. I think it's because of her note to Eudial 'Snail Lady in the white van should crash and die. And then there's the episode where they're playing twister.

Coolest: I would have to say Seto Kaiba, [yu-gi-oh]. I like the white coat he wears and how he has everything under control.

[color=magenta]Best:Clide [Arc the lad] In this dvd he rules, he got everything he wanted and did it in his own little sneaky way. But you know what happens to them all right. but still he was a good villain.[/color]
[color=#ff00ff]Worst:Bakura [yu-gi-oh] I just don't like him,maybe he is one of those slow villains that take their time with there master plan or something.[/color]

Dorkiest: Emperor Pilaf (Dragonball) This includes all his chroneys.

[color=red]Best: Enishi (Samurai X) He was Yukishiro Tomoe's little brother. He try to Avenge his sister's death in the last Samurai X movie by trying to kill Kenshin, who had accidently killed Enishi's sister, Tomoe.[/color]

Worst: Mr. Centipede (Inuyasha) It was the first villain in the series. I'm not even sure it qualifies for a villain.

Basically, the question alone isn't enough to generate decent discussion (replies tend to become short, spammy and boring), so I'd like to ask everyone who posts in this thread to at least explain why said villain is the best/worst/dumbest etc. Thanks to ChibiHorsewoman for setting a decent example there, heh.[/COLOR]

Coolest: Seta Sojirou (Rurouni Kenshin) - I like the way he tried to shut away all of his emotions making it seem like he has none until his second fight with Kenshin
Dorkiest: Ginyu Force (Dragon Ball Z) - The way they do all those poses is pretty corny
Best: Naraku (Inuyasha) - the way he makes people suffer all the time for his own enjoyment is kinda sick, which is why he's so cool
Worst: Majin Buu (Dragon Ball Z) - What's so special about some pink blob, and it eats candy too.
Smartest: I dunno, alot of villians in anime are smart, otherwise they wouldn't be worth being called villians.
Dumbest: All the villians from Sailor Moon

[b]Sailor Galaxia[/b]- Okay she became evil after seeling Choas, but she was a pretty good villain.

[spoiler]She awoke Nehalania after Super SailorMoon had seeled her in a mirror (anime only)and got her to do a bit of dirty work. Then she had those animates to do her bidding. She stole Mamoru's starseed so he wasn't really in the last season (thank you!) She even managed to kill off the senshi inner and outer.[/spoiler]

So there's one SailorMoon Villain who definately wasn't an idiot.

Another very respectable villain from SailorMoonR is Safiru of the Black Moon Clan. He actually risked death to warn his brother about what Wise Man was up to. Okay, not exactly evil, but it showed loyalty, which still makes a very decent villain.

[Owari Nai Yume]

[COLOR=Navy] [SIZE=1] [FONT=Times New Roman][B]Coolest:[/B] Sesshomaru. He has to be one of the coolest characters in anime. I love how he does not let his emotions distract him from his objectives and decisions. In battle, that skill is what will make it or break it. It's kinda sad you don't see him more often in Inuyasha.

[B]Smartest:[/B] Naraku. His plans are always thought out so perfectly. The way he manipulates people into doing his work for him is the perfect strategy. (other that when they figure out what's going on, he just has more enemies to deal with.) If he were real, we'd all be doomed.

[B] Best:[/B] Kagura. Even though she's on the side of evil, she still fights against it. She still cares for Kanna and plans to destroy Naraku, even if he holds her life in his hands. That kind of fierce determinatin to be free is what makes her such an awsome villian.

(no, im not trying to put all Inuyasha characters here. they just fit the parts, ya know?)

He is actually one of the most complex villains in the series.

He only ever did what people told him to do at first. When his fat form first came out, he was like a little baby. He needed a little guidance. However he grew tired of Babidi's nagging and eventually offed him.

The fact that Buu was so childlike and naive was the very essence of why he should be feared. He had no conscience to tell him right from wrong. He would kill and think nothing of it. Since he was made with intentions of evil, if he did anything good it was pinned against him until his more evil side split from him, thus the evolution of Buus. This is a little something called character development.

His final incarnation, Kid Buu, was the total embodiment of what Buu was supposed to be. All that would have hindered his evil intentions was filtered out until all that was left was "Buu concentrate," so to speak. He was [i]pure[/i] evil, with the energetic body of a child, and enough strength that it took a fusion of the Earth's two strongest warriors to beat him.

Personally I think he was one of the best and most original villains I have seen, and not just in anime. He was pretty much the perfect Dragon Ball villain. I imagine this is partially because the Buu saga was supposed to be the last in the series, so they saved the best for then, but even compared the the main villains in other shows I have seen Buu is better in the big picture.

The mere fact that I have not watched or even thought much about the Dragon Ball series in at least a year or so, yet can still pick him out in detail as to why he was an efficient villain, is a bit of testimony.[/size]

Coolest~ Lord Darcia from Wolf's Rain. First of all, his appearance just gives off this wave of "coolness". He's calm and collected most of the time, and a very serious character.

Dorkiest~ Zenigata from Lupin III. Can you consider him a villain? Even though he's a cop, but he's against the main character. As hard as he tries, he always manages to let Lupin escape, and of course gets himself into ridiculous situations.

Best~ Hmmm... can't...think...

Worst~ Team Rocket from Pokemon. (Do I even need to explain?)

Smartest~ Legato from Trigun. He's definitely cunning, and thinks of the best ways to mess with Vash's head.

Dumbest~ The Nebraska Family from Trigun. They may have a lot of physical strength in the form of two giants, but when it comes to brains they're about as intelligent as a group of chickens.

First of all, I'll be leaving any Dragonball/Z/GT character out of my list, because if I don't anything to do with stupidity would be taken up by them -__-

Coolest: A cool bad guy? I must say Sesshoumaru, though truthfully, I don't think he's a real bad guy ^-^ His whole supieriour attitude and cold exteriour are what makes him!

Dorkiest: I'll go with Ipalazzo from Excel Saga, no question about that, I haven't seen the much of the series, and I've only read 2 volumes of the manga, but come on!, he's a guy that wants to take over the, huh, city... that lives in his parents basement and who's only employees to aid in his quest are an insane girl and another girl that keeps getting terminally ill... lets not forget the poor dog either :P hehe

Best: *read everyone's posts* geez O_o all the best villians are from Inuyasha or Kenshin?! I'll have to think of a different series to be original =P How about umm... errr... Knives from Trigun? That was very random... and not really the best x_x *sigh*

Worst: This is a hard one, there are so many, mostly from Sailor Moon -__- (I like the show, I really do) and from them, I'll pick Anne and Allan, they weren't even really evil, what kind of villains WERE they?! o_o

Smartest: If this were if it were on manga I'd be saying Raito from Death Note ;) hehe, darn... I'll have to pick.. err.. it's hard trying to be original here... how about Orochimaru from Naruto? No? No.. I don't think so... I really don't know, honestly, they all can't be *that* smart, because you know in the end they won't win, so something went wrong with their logic ;)

Dumbest: This is where I really want to say Buu.... but I won't, I'll try and think of someone ever stupider, it MUST be possible! ^__^ *thinks for 10 minutes* How about that 'evil' dude from Dragon Half? I forgot his name... and most everything about the OVA series.. so... yeah... I can't say much except that he was dumb.
