I just decided to make this thread after having seen the Six Flags commercial and lmao over it (Boy that old dancing man cracks me up)...I just wanted to know what the other members here think the funniest commercial is, and why...

That six flags commercial is totally retarded. Whenever I see it, I cringe. As for any other commercials that piss me off (or make me laugh...) are any mc donalds commercials. They're always so terrible, that they're funny! They always try to reach out to certain stereotypes. One commercial they had like all these people at a concert, and it was supposed to be a Mcdonalds commercial. Also that poor guy who got his car for 500 bucks because he's "eating mcdeals". Damn, that guy needs a job, I think.

EDIT: Oh yeah, that guy in the nestea commercial who starts singing. Thats an awesome commercial. Alot of people say I look like him. :p

I also never stop laughing at the new KitKat bar ones. Lol, especially when that black guy falls on the floor and starts doing the Worm. That commercial rocks, heh.

[size=1]I just recently saw a commercial after waking up this morning.

A man was sitting in a giant birds nest on a high cliff with a rainbow arcing over the horizon. Then this huge bird starts circling and the man pokes his head up and starts clucking like a chicken. The bird calls like a hawk, and lands in the nest with a bag of skittles in it's beak. It pours like four or five into the mans mouth and flies off. The man says thanks and lays back down in the nest.

Made me laugh for a good five minutes.

[I][FONT=Century Gothic][SIZE=3][COLOR=Green]Well, the funniest comercials I've seen are the Geico one's, especially one, where the guys reads a sorta "fan letter" or something like that and it says that the Geico site would be "Da Bomb" if they had the geko do the robot, I find it halarious!! :laugh:

Also, I can remember laughing my pants off over the Six Flags commercial, ok, maybe it's not that good, but, the old dancing man really makes it a blast!!I love it! I even wanted to record it to take it with me to my home country...But, I couldn't :(

I don't know if this is relevent...since I live in the UK and all. Maybe I can get some correspondance from other Great British dwellers, or maybe they are shown eslwhere, who knows. Anyway, I really like the new Guinness Ads for Guinness extra cold, the ones that poke fun at the older Guinness ads like the Snail Racing and The "Tick followed tock followed tick" one.

The 'Tick' one is the best I think where the guys are all in black and white with their surf boards and they run off towards the sea, then as soon as they hit the surf they stop and run back because its too cold.

The dancing eskimo is really funny too heh.

I wouldn't be the biggest fan of the new Guinness ads but they are quite funny in their own right, my favoruite drink based ads would be the new Carlsburg ones, [I]"Carlsburg don't so ___ , but if they did they'd probably be the best ___ in the world."[/I].

My favrouite ads though would have to be Mars Company ads from a few years back, the American Football one where the guy gets concussed after a bad tackle and thinks he'd Batman was classic, [I]"I am Batman"[/I]. I like that commercial with the old lady trying to be ghetto. :P I dunno why, I have a soft spot for strange old people. I kinda like the Yeti-thing on those Pop-Tarts commercials. Just the way he talks... And that Taco Bell commercial. :rolleyes: "Guess who got full this weekend?" Pfsh. Oh yeah, the Kit-Kat one with the dancing guy rules.

I like the Starbucks commercial with the bad following the guy around singin his name to the song [I]Eye of the Tiger[/I], and then moving to another guy that gets on the elevator as the first one gets off...

[font=Arial][size=2]THE funniest commercial I've ever seen is one I've never actually seen on TV. it's probably played before, but maybe just not in the U.S... anywho, it's advertising salmon or fish of some sort, with a bear near a stream with some fish, when this guy comes running out of the woods, randomely yelling and starts fighting the bear for the fish. in the end, the man wins and walks off with the fish.[/size][/font]

I definately laugh out loud when I see that Mastercard commercial with Homer Simpson. It's hilarious. He can hear the voice-over and he interacts with it; Something that needed to happen ;) Like the "Haircut: $75" and Homer goes "$75!?" and then he's in the bar and the voice-over says "Spending time with the family: Priceless" and when Homer doesn't move he repeats it and Homer goes "Alright, I heard you! Stupid voice-over..."

And to top it off, the little circles of the Mastercard sign are doughnuts and Homer goes "ooo!" but gets disappointed when they become the Mastercard sign. Hehe.

Watching that commercial: Priceless. ;)

I absolutely love the new Dairy Queen commercial for the brownie batter blizzard where the guy is sitting in the DQ and says " I wemember it qwite vivwidly. It was about a monf ago and my wife was baking bwownies..." and then gets his tongue stuck in the beater! Heh heh heh, it just cracks me up! I enjoy the Geico commercials too, that gecko is pretty awesome, especially when he's doing the robot ^_^

My favorite commercial is the Geico one, but I thought one of the best was the one where he's singing Kung Fu Fighting. I love that song so much, I couldn't resist.
The Six Flags was is stupid, but in a funny way. I doubt that was really an old man though.

And when I went to Six Flags, you cannot believe how many times I heard that song play. It was starting to get annoying.

[COLOR=Indigo]Well, I have a few really great commericals in mind...but there's one that's my all-time favorite.

I love the Geico commercial where they're all in the SUV, taking a road trip. The family is singing "She'll Be Comin' 'Round The Mountain". All seems normal until you hear an odd voice 'oh'-ing to a melody. and then you hear: "EVERYBODY WAS KUNG-FU FIGHTING, HI-YAH! THOSE CATS WERE...fast...as...light...ning..." And the car pulls over, the Gecko looking about at everyone in the car with a sheepish grin. And then, as they pull off, everyone is singing "Kung-Fu Fighting".

I actually bought a shirt that said "Kung-Fu Fighter" because I like that commercial so much. ^^;[/COLOR]

[color=darkviolet]I just remembered this commercial I saw last year in Texas. I don't think anyone else has seen it tho unless you had the unfortunate luck to be in Texas. Anyway... this is a commercial for Blue Bell Ice Cream which is only avaiable in Texas.

The opening shot is a scene of the White House and I guess George W. called and ordered some Blue Bell Ice Cream from Texas, and when it comes the secret service person brings it in then leaves quickly. Well, I would have done the same thing because the next thing you know George opens his carton of ice cream and it's all gone. I think I may have felt sorry for the president in that commercial because his ice cream was stolen. :bawl: After it was sent half way across the country!

Oh and has anyone seen that new Corvette commercial where the kid is driving this candy apple red vette? There's this notice at the bottom of the screen in the opening that says: [b]Dreams are nice, but don't drive with out a liscence and obey all traffic laws[/b] Yeah, like someone is really going to let their kid drive their corvette. hell, I wouldn't even let my husband drive my corvertte if I had one.

The Dairy Queen commercial kind of makes me not want to eat anything let alone want to have a brownie batter sundae. And does anyone besides me want to slap the guy for not checking to make sure that the mixer was unplugged before he stuck it in his mouth? :rant: Idiot![/color]

That commercial makes me laugh up to the point where those old people are "getting all kinds of nasty." That's when I cringe. *cringes at the thought*

Heh, I remember that Skittles commercial that KOTR mentioned. I just stared at it the first time I saw it then laughed.

Anyway, the one that makes me laugh is that Jack in the Box commercial about the new fries. A French reporter interviews Jack and asks him if he has a problem with the French since he changed the name of french fries to natural cut fries (or something like that, I forget). And Jack's response was "Eh." lol

Does anyone remember the Sprint commercial where the salesguy goes to frat houses and then when everyone saw seven on their clock, everyone started screaming and crying for the number 7? That one cracked me up.

Those Sonic commercials are sometimes funny but they're just getting really annoying now.

I love the six Flag's commercial! The old man's dancing! He has a cane and he's swinging everywhere! I couldn't stop laughing. I was hoping that the old man broke the bus so he could start dancing outside for a ride. :laugh: That is like the best commerical ever!

I really liked the Red Bull commercial where a bird craps on a guy's head. Then the guy drinks some Red Bull and flies over top of the bird and starts unzipping his pants. Revenge is great.

Also there are two Budweiser commercials that make fun of the Miller Light commercials where the refferees replace people's Bud Light with Miller Light. It has the referees stealing the Bud Light and then they jump into and ride off, laughing. In the other commercial the cops stop them for stealing the beer, and they just make a run for it.

those geiko commercials scare the crap out of me sometimes.

the best recent commercial is a Burger King one. This guy comes over to a tble with three people at work and screams "WHAT TIME IS IT?" in this squeeky voice while showing them his Spongebob watch. They all stare at him and he goes "I got this mew spongebob watch at Burger King! Cool huh?" the others all show that they are wearing spongebob watches. He walks away dissapointed and goes into the next room. He sneaks up behing a guy on the copier and goes "WHAT TIME IS IT?" and the guy jumps.

The guy talks about how low prices aren't allowed in their store then a guy wearing a costume walks in with the caption [b]Mr High Prices[/b] and some other guy comes and beats him up. At the end of the commercial the announcer guy starts rattling off about how they take Cash, credit, EBT (food Stamps for those ppl who 1.) never needed them or 2.) just don't know what I mean) gold diamonds...anything but personal checks. Lincoln's cousin and I joke about taking her aunt (my mother-in-law) down there and trying to sell her for some ground beef.

There was also a local TV law firm trying to get people to sue for Vioxx. Now initially this wouldn't be a funny commercial, but then they mention suffering from heart attack, stroke, even death and if you have suffered from any of these things to give them a call. I'd like to know how you'd call them from the great beyond...do you need to get your friends or family to contact the law firm with an ouiji board?
