Sign Up Digimon: Deadly Virus!

[I][COLOR=Teal]My brother and me have been away for awhile because of our stupid modem. Anyways, I wanted to start a new Digimon RPG. This kind of goes along with a story I have so, I sort of have pre-picked Digimon. I hope that's ok. I just thought it would be fun to have and RPG/Story! I hope tthis works out! :blush:

[B][U]The Story:[/U][/B]
A strange virus has been drifting around the Digital World. Gennai and Angemon have been studying this virus for some time now and they think it's very deadly. They take action right away. They gather ten special Digieggs, create new Digivices, and create new crests.

A few months later, one of the Digieggs hatches. Gennai and Angemon know it's too soon. The helpless baby virus type is quickly corupted by the virus and wonders off. Gennai and Angemon now know that the virus is turning pure Digimon EVIL! They also figure out that Virus-type Digimon are effected the quickest by the virus, Data-types are harder to corupt, and Vaccine-types are the hardest to corupt. Only the Digivices can saves these corupted Digimon.

Five years later, ten unexspected campers are transported to the Digital World. They had recieved thier Digvices from little balls of light, that appeared from the "northen lights" they saw, right before they were transported. Gennai and Angemon exsplain about the virus, the fact that a very powerful Digimon is creating it, and that those ten are the only ones that can help.

The new Digidestine agree to help and each recieve a Digimon. Well, almost everyone. One girl has everything, but a Digimon. Her Digimon was the one corupted five years ago. Her task is to purify her Digimon as the other try to find the source of this Deadly Virus..............

[B]Bio:[/B] Aurora is a normal kid living a normal life. Well, almost normal. She is a little on the creepy and depressing side. She'a also quiet and likes to think things through. She has few friends and two of them consist of her twin brother and younger sibling. Aurora does love to draw though. Most of her attention comes from her artwork. That's the only attention she really wants most of the time anyhow. Her normal life become unusal after seeing the "northern lights" at camp though. Aurora and nine other are transported to another world after recieveing strange devices. Aurora finally starts to feel in place until she learns she doesn't have a pure Digimon. The fact of her having to purify her Digimon makes her feel even more out of place then before. She figures the quicker she gets her Digimon purifyed, the quicker she can be normal.

Mat Momento is the youngest of the Momento twins. He and his twin sister, older than him by 5 minutes are very close and like to joke around with each other. Mat is a very sporty type guy and plays in the school?s rugby team. He hangs around with his best friend all the time who?s also in the rugby team.

Whenever Mat?s not at home, at school or playing rugby and other sports, he loves to rollerblade. He often just rollerblades down to a park that?s a few blocks away and sometimes does several rounds before stopping and climbing the large sakura tree in the middle of the park. He spends a lot of time in it, usually just thinking.

Mat, Mijiko and their younger sibling have had a stable upbringing and has been surrounded by warmth and love since they were brought into the world. They?re quite popular at school but they each have their own share of enemies.

But besides all of his outdoor hobbies, he spends quite a large portion of time in the house, where he strums on his guitar, trying to get tunes, or plays the drums or just studies and does homework. He loves to admire the trophies he?s won in the past and has them displayed on shelves in his very green room. Mat is slightly obsessed with the colour because his walls are green, curtains are green, sheets are green, and his blankets are you guessed it? green. Even though he has quite a strong exterior, he?s a softy on the inside and cares about plants and animals.

One night, when Mat, Mijiko, their younger sibling and some friends were out camping, the Momento kids were swept off to the Digital World. There they met their Digimon and met up with the other children and their siblings. They also met Aurora and immediately felt a pang of sorrow for her and were immediately determined to help her out in whatever ways they could to help purify DemiDevimon.

He also has a way brighter sense of humor and personality then Aurora. He gets alot of attention from his jokes and stories. He loves the attention, but sometimes hates it because of personal reasons. He has some friends, but trys his hardest to stick with Aurora. He knows Aurora needs his support more then his friends do. When Coal is transported to the Digital World, he gets Impmon as his partner. Impmon's six-sense of humor fits him perfectly. Those two get along just fine. They also try to give Aurora thier support and protection. They know she needs it even though she doesn't ask for it.

Mat, Mijiko and their younger sibling have had a stable upbringing and has been surrounded by warmth and love since they were brought into the world. They?re quite popular at school but they each have their own share of enemies. Mijiko in particular. She isn?t disliked, naturally, but a couple? really don?t like her.

Mijiko likes to sing, and often comes up with lyrics and tunes. She sings along with Mat?s guitar playing, and often accompanies it with her harmonica. Despite being slightly preppy, Miji has a love for basketball that is near insane. She is very good at it, and plays in the school team as a star player. Besides that, she loves manga and anime.

Mijiko?s favorite color is purple: her room is almost exactly like Mat?s, maybe a little more detailed, but al purple ? except for her silver lining. Her room is like a purple cube with silver creases and corners. She loves drawing, and drawings cover her walls, as well as pour out of her desk drawers.

Karver is some what of a jock. He's the quarterback for his school's football team and a great track star. He's also careful about what he does. Even though Karver is a jock, he's great friends with Coal. Him and Coal go way back. They usually tell each other everything, except one thing. Karver has a killer crush on Aurora. :blush:

When Karver and Kayin get transported to the Digital World during a camping trip, they start to learn how to work together more then trying to compete. Karver and Lopmon start to forming a strong bond right after they meet.Karver also starts to feel closer to Aurora. He thinks he needs to protect her and help her purify DemiDevimon.

One paragraph to explain the story doesn't cut it, JoyKaiba - try to put a little more background detail in. Explain the virus, or the digital world, or something. Do the kids already begin with their digivices or will their introductory posts start with the characters receiving them?

Sign-ups. Guys, your characters are what make the story, so I'd like to see you think about them a little more. Who are they, what makes them tick? The more thought you put into them, the more dynamic they and the story will become. As it is, if you're not going to finish your sign-up right away, then don't post it.

Read over the stickies at the top of the forum, or check out some of the other RPGs to get a better understanding of what I mean. Hopefully you'll all take a moment to think about this and edit your posts.

[B]Bio:[/B] Kayin is the younger brother of Karver but only by 10 months. Kayin looks up to Karver even though they aren't very distant as of age. He looks to his brother for advice and an opponent in competition. They don't really have a grudge but they are most competitve when against other. Kayin is very confident in all that he does and always thinks he can beat Karver even if he's better at it.

Kayin and Karver are almost always seen together unless they're with their friends. Kayin and his friends spend a lot of time playing basketball or video games. He never really associates with them any other way. Kayin plays and starts for his school's Basketball team at Point Guard so as to keep his skills sharp.

When Karver and Kayin get transported to the Digital World during a camping trip, they start to learn how to work together more then trying to compete. Kayin meets Mijiko and he developed a crush instantly. Kayin got his Digivice and his Digimon, Lucemon. Kayin and Lucemon form a strong friendship right after they meet. Kayin feels the need to help Aurora to purify DemiDevimon out of sorrow for her.

Amika and Zak usually like to compete with each other. Most of the time, it's no sweat for Amika. Never the less, Amika loves Zak. She'll do about anything for him. She knows he feels the same.

When Amika and Zak get transported to the Digital World, they both recieve a Digimon. Zak with Dorumon and Amika with Nightmon. Amika starts a bond with Nightmon right away. She also notices that everyone has a partner Digimon except Aurora. She feels sorry for her in someways. She has the urge to help her.

Zak loves to compete with Amika in somethings he likes doing. He thinks he can win, but usual loses in the end. They also kid around about at the end. Zak seems to look up to Amika and would do anything for her.

When Zak and Amika get transported to the Digital World from camp, they each meet thier own Digimon. Zak's Digimon is the hyper and funny, Dorumon. Amika's is the shady and sneaky Nightmon. Zak becomes close with his Digital partner and they promise to protect each other. They also promise to protect everyone else.

Yuki spends much of his time in his room or outside. He likes to sit in his room practicing with his flute. He also likes to sit in the Sakura tree in the back yard. He usually just sits there to think or red a book.

When Erica and her siblings get transported to the Digital World, only two of them recieve Digimon. Coal recieves Impmon and Erica recieves Penguimon. Aurora doesn't recieve her Digimon because he's corupted by the virus. Erica and Penguimon now have the urge to help Aurora with all thier might.
