Dagonet ran through the forest as fast as he could. He held all the main elements and it was his job to escape through the time portal to the future and give them to the Chosen few who deserved them. But the Element of Death had sent goons to chase him down. So Dagonet just kept running with these wild dogs of death right behind him. Then he came to the Elemental Temple. The Time Portal was still open, so he jumped in and it closed immediatly. When he came out there was a girl staring at him like he was crazy. Figures that the portal would lead to a girls room. And she wasn't even a chosen one.

Dagonet walked out of the house and went onto the dark street. He opened his arms and 7 lights of different colours blasted out.

"Find the ones who can help! Then bring them to the nearest forest!" yelled Dagonet. And the lights flew away...

Dagoent turned to walk to the forest that was behind him. He would wait here untill the others came and then he would explain to them what will happen.

Okay, your first post will consist of you following the light to Dagonet. After that you have complete control over your posts and what your character does. They can join Shadow, or decline the offer of being an Elementalist. Whatever you want.

IC: Steffanie sat on the porch of her house, doing her Algebra II homework. She looked up when a light buzzed around her head, and it went in circles about her feet. She stood up, looking at it curiously.

It zoomed off the porch, and she set down her things on the swing. It stopped, hovering ? it looked like it was waiting for her. So she stepped down, and followed. It never went more than five feet ahead of her, making sure she was following.

Steffanie wouldn?t be home, but her grandmother was out shopping. It was one of the few times she was home without her.

Soon she got to the park, and the light led her back into the woods. She stopped as the light zoomed out to someone leaning on a tree, and it stopped. She looked closer ? and the light disappeared.

?Hello??

Imric typed away at her computer, concentrating on her AIM conversation with a friend, which was getting quite interesting when she was interrupted by a crimson light buzzing in front of the screen.
She raised an eyebrow and waved her hand by it, the thing seemed to dodge and then continued to float around her.
She shook her head and took off her glasses, rubbing her eyes to make sure that she wasn?t seeing things. She wasn?t, the little bugger was still there.
"Damn..." she cursed.

Listen, I have to go...I'll talk to you later

she typed, her friend said her goodbyes and she signed off.
"What the hell do you want?" she asked the light. Then she stopped, realising that she had just spoken to a light, a non-living, non-breathing thing. She shook her head again and when she opened her eyes the light had settled on the end of her nose. She went cross-eyed to look at it and in the end gave in and followed it outside.

She pulled her coat around her and zipped it up stuffing her hands in her pockets.
"So...where are we going?" she asked, her voice was muffled from speaking through her polar necked collar.
"Oh, you can?t talk can you...you're a light..." she continued grumbling as the two 'companions' walked towards the woods near Imric's house.

The young woman walked in, pushing some leaves aside so her path was clear. Steam rose from where her hot breath met the cold air and she shivered slightly. Then she noticed someone.

"Yo! Who?s there?"

OOC lol, I wrote this as I was talking with DaisukeAngel, hence the AIM convo?heh.

Terra jumped in the air trying to capture the ball of blue and yellow light in her hand, but the thing twirled through the air and shook as if it was laughing at her. Terra smiled with annoyance and decided to give up catching it. She looked behind her shoulder, she couldn't see the lights from her house anymore, she had been following this thing for a good twenty minets and was hoping her parents or many brothers wouldn't start looking for her.

Not only was the ball of light bugging her by dodging her attempts to catch it, but it had enterupted her target practice when she was in the back fields. She hadn't even seen it approach, it just jumped in front of an on coming rock (Which buzzed through it) and pretty soon Terra had decided to follow it sense it seemed to want her to.

"Curse me and my curiousity," Terra grumbled, the light boped around in front of her and Terra shot a stone at it with her sling shot, like earlier, the stone just went through it, "I'm ganna get hurt one day because of it..."

Terra stopped walking as the buzzing light came to the edge of a forest, it stopped along with her and floated over in front of her.

"You want me to go in the forest?" Terra asked. She wasn't a fan of bugs, and she knew that forests were crawling with spiders and other 6 or more legged creatures. The light started to bounced into the air and back down to the ground with excitement and flew around her head quite a few times as well, "I'll take that as a yes." Terra laughed nervously as she followed the light into the forest, still not sure why she was following it and where it was taking her.

TJ had been riding his bike home after going out to eat with his friends when he had seen a light seemingly floating. 'Not often do you see lights floating around unless it's a firefly...' TJ thought. The light began moving and out of curiousity TJ began following it. It never left his sight so it would be easy to follow. 'Where is this thing taking me?' TJ thought tipping his hat up to see better. "Is this some type of trick? Who's controllin' this thing? It's gotta be remote controlled..." TJ said to himself.

TJ had been riding for about 30 minutes already and he had become slightly tired of biking. He saw the park up ahead, 'The park? Why the park?' TJ thought, but the light hadn't stopped moving. It continued to the trees of the forest nearby the park and stopped between a tree and a girl. 'That better not be the one repsonsible for this crap...' he thought. "Who's over there?" asked TJ, and the light he had followed disappeared by her and revealed a second person.

The girl looked to see who had called and back to the character by the tree. "I'm Steffanie, but I don't know who this is. Who are you?" she responded looking back and forth between the two.

"I'm TJ, nice to meet you. Do you know anything about a floating light?" he asked Steffanie. He looked toward the other character who seemed to be smiling. TJ raised his eyebrow, wondering why he was smiling.

"Yeah, I followed one out to here when it appeared out of nowhere." she answered.

"I see so there were more than one of them. So who are you and why'd you lead us here?" TJ asked the person.

Jenny was standing with her back against the school wall, her backpack slung over her left arm. Her eyes were only half open as a result from a hard day of school, and she desperatly wanted Lauren to come so they could walk to Jenny's house.

As she was standing by the entrance to the school, she could see in plain sight Lauren trying to ask the French teacher about the assignment. Ms. Leina, the teacher, was giving more then Lauren expected, making her ask the question in French. Jenny giggled as she watched her friend raise an eyebrow, obviously racking her brain for the right word.

Jenny started waving her arms frantically, mouthing the word, trying to get her friend's attention, but something caught her eye as soon as she turned. Lauren, still with an eyebrow cocked, mouthed 'what?' and Jenny only spun her palm in a circle, motioning for her to speed it up. Her friend sighed and returned to the problem at hand.

Jenny turned her head to look at what had caught her eye. To her suprise, whatever it was was directly infront of he nose. Caught off guard, Jenny fell backwards, glad none of her friends were watching. She jumped up next second, gaping at the light. She took a quick look around to see if someone was pointing a flashlight at her face, but no one was around.

The light, a sort of crystal-ish silver-ish color, starting bumping into her forehead clumsily.

"Not very bright...er, sorry, smart, are you?" Jenny mumbled as she grabbed the light in her hand the next time it tried smashing into her uneffectively. She opened her fist and the light sped out and forwards, only going a few feet before stopping.

"Want me to go with you?" She asked it, feeling increasing dumb for speaking with a ball of light. Next second, the thing started diving down and going back up quickly, as if nodding. Jenny shrugged, and, looking back to check on Lauren and saw she wasn't done with the question.

"I'll be back before she's done." She assured herself. Just in case, she told her friend Jonathan to tell Lauren she'd be right back, and followed the ligt into the school's forest.

"Anyone at home, then?"

OOC: Glad this has started.

IC:

Sebastiene kicked her soccerball along the alley, humming the tune to "Grand Theft Autumnr". She knew it wasn't exactly safe to be walking this way home, but it was the quickest way. That's when she saw it. A little green light floated near the end of the alley.

"An omen!"

She rushed toward it, the superstitious person she was, kicking her soccer ball the whole way. She stopped in front of it and picked up the ball. The light zoomed around her head a few times and them went around the corner. Sebastiene ran after it, following it across streets, through feilds, and over a few fences when it finally slowed down and went into a forest.

Sebastiene hesitated, but followed it through the trees. It stopped at a group of people, one who she recognized as Steffanie from the soccer team. They were gathered around a figure leaning on a tree.

"Oi! The light sent me. Anyone know what's going on?"

OOC: Gosh darn it! I really hate the time differences! Sorry I'm late, and sorry for the length, a bit short...

Meiko stood outside of the school gates near the path. She took the sunglasses from her face and stared at the small, floating, blue light. Meiko lifted a hand and reached out for it, as the hand got closer, the light moved backwards. Meiko took a step forward and tried again. Soon enough, it was continually moving around, then all of a sudden it shot off down the street. Meiko let out a yell and started pursuit.

The light weaved in and out of streets, with Meiko following it. Anyone that saw her running around would think she was late and hurrying home because no one else could see the small glowing light as she could.

Meiko took a quick glance up from the light to see where it was headed and saw the thick mass of trees that was the forest, and the light was headed right for them. As soon as they reached the mass, the light squeezed in through a small gap and Meiko rushed to find the entrance to follow it. She could see it at a distance and sprinted towards it, hurdling over rocks and large roots that stuck out of the ground, ready to trip anyone that wasn't watching where they were going. She made it to an area and noticed there were several other people there, and her light had gone somewhere.

"Uh...Hi. I followed the little light thing...." Meiko said, running a hand through her soft brown hair.

OOC: It's not your fault, Ohkami! ^_^ Congratz on your new name Muse! >.<

Dagonet walked passively around each person staring into thier eyes. They stared back not knowing what else to do. A couple of them looked away though.

"I... err... the elements have brought you here today to put a stop to your normal lives and grant you with Power. You have been summoned to help me stop a great evil. I come from the past. You see these lights are Elements. They chose you for thier own reasons and will now become part of you." said Dagonet. "Any questions?"

TJ spoke up. "Yeah, I was won--" Dagonet interupted.

"No? Ok. Let's begin."

With that, Dagonet opened his arms and started mumbling something. Then a few seconds later, the 7 Elemental Lights appeared. Each one found it's chosen one and raced inside thier body. Everyone instantly fell to the ground.

"You'll be on the ground for about an hour before you regain control of your body. You have to get used to another power being inside of you. We will train here everyday for a month so you can learn abilities.

Everyone just stared at him. They couldn't even use thier mouths yet.

"Now that you're all listening I'll tell you each about your element."

Dagonet walked up and sat between Steffanie and Imric.

"Steffanie has been given the power of Wind. Something cool about Wind is you later will learn to fly. With the help of wings of course. But for now you should only be able to (with my help of course) create a small white ball of wind, powerfull enough to shatter glass."

"Imric here will gain the power of Fire. Having Fire will enhance your strength by alot. So that may come in handy. But like Steffanie, Imric can only create a small fireball for now."

Dagonet got up and sat in between Terra and TJ.

"Terra has control over Lightning. This enhances your speed by god knows how fast. But like the rest for now, you have a small ball of electricity." He looked over to TJ.

"TJ, you lucky duck. You have the element of Light. Light will enhance your speed, strength and brain power by alot. But for now you can only create a ball of light. Useless unless we're in a cave."

He then got up again and sat in front of Jenny, Sebby and Meiko.

"Jenny you have Ice. A very cool element. No pun intended. Not much you can do with Ice. Except you will deffinatly start out being the most powerfull of the 7 of you. Right away you will be able to learn to create Ice Spikes all over your body and create an Ice shield. You can shoot a ball of Ice aswell. I will train with you seperately."

"Sebby.. Sebastiene. You have got to be one of the most important of us. Right away you can learn heal spells to cure small cuts and cracks in the bones. Nothing else though."

"Finally, Meiko, Water. Having this will enable you to see and breath under water. Sometimes even smell. But like the rest. For now you can create a small ball of powerfull water in your hands to do with as you wish."

"That's all of you. Good luck resting. See back here tommorrow when the sun rises."

BTW: I only posted that colour because it matches my Element. ^_^

Also, I'm making Post Backgrounds for each of you. Look in the Adventure Underground for when I post them there.

Sebastiene lay on the ground, unable to move. Che?! What is this guy talking about? I knew the little light was some sorta of omen but...Hey. Healing powers? Cool...Wait, what am I saying? This is insane. But all things are possible.

She shifted her eyes (about the only things she could move), to look at the people who the guy had called Jenny and Maiko. They looked just as confused in their eyes. But this must have been something good. She was wearing her lucky rabbit's foot and her mini-horseshoe necklace. Those were her two luckiest items!

She would just have to trust this mysterious new guy, and rest until tomorrow. And so she closed her eyes and concentrated on the sounds of the forest.

Steffanie was in total shock. Well, atleast she had an excuse to leave the house every week. She lay on the ground, a soft wind caressing her face, and blowing strands of hair into her face. She closed her eyes, and let the cool breeze tell her what to do.

I?ll be able to fly? wow? why am I be- because, it sure seems like he knows what he?s talking about. Besides: I can?t move, can I?

SO, being curious, Steffanie thought hard, and concentrated on the air about her; not much happened, but the wind rose, then fell back to its original speed.

TJ lay motionless just like the others. He struggled to get up but couldn't. The moonlight seemed brighter to him even through the clouds. He gave up on trying to get up.

I guess I could use a nap...I'll have mentally and physically enhanced once I get better with my element. But what about the whole light controlling thing? thought Takahiro. He tried to make a ball of light in his hand by concentrating extremely hard. A light flashed but disappeared just as fast.

I thought I had it...I guess I can help this guy out since he's given me this gift, but until then...time to sleep. He thought and soon fell asleep.

Jenny smirked on the inside, happy that she would be a little different from the rest. Sure, she did feel a bit guilty about leaving Lauren by herself, but she'd probably just go home with her best guy friend, Alex, anyways. Lets just hope she doesn't run into anything, she thought, and would have laughed, but no noises were heard and her mouth wouldn't open.

She felt and heard the wind getting stronger for a moment, and a very bright but quick flash of light stunned her for only a second. She wasn't dumb, she could tell everyone around her was getting a bit of a hang of their powers. She, full of adrenaline from the news, figured she could do the same.

Screwing her eyes shut, she concentrated on everything she could think of that had to do with Ice. Glaciers, frezers, and those little Kool-Aid Freezie things that you buy 100 for 5 bucks for at the store, some of the few, flashed through her mind. Next second, a very breif chill ran through the wind, but Jenny and the others had to bear it laying still, because they couldn't even shiver.

Sorry everyone... she thought stupidly, hoping somehow the others could hear her apology. Obviously, they couldn't, and Jenny suddenly felt exhausted. She fell asleep thinking of her favorite music, playing the songs through her mind.

OOC: Sorry if the 'Chill' thing was kind of stupid, but I had no ideas on what to do.

OOC: Normally I'd let everyone post but I don't want this to die so I'll just continue. By the way, check out the Elements: Rewind Thread in the Adventure Underground.

The next morning...
Dagonet sat next to a tree. The sun was rising. That was his alarm clock. He got up and stood just outside the entrance of the forest. He would wait here for the others to come. Well, all he could do is wait of course. They had free will on thier side and didn't even have to come. So he figured he would start after 5 of them got here.

He couldn't see anyone. So he waited longer. Nothing. He decided to think about what he would start to teach them. Of course there was Jenny. The Element of Ice who he had said he would teach seperately.

"First... I'll teach them basic fighting techniques." he thought. That would be good. Before they could even begin to harness thier elements they would need to know many forms of fighting styles. Well, the elements gave them the knowledge of the styles. Everyone was enhanced with more strength, knowledge and speed. Just some more then others. So he would only have to show them how to do the fighting and they would get it first try.

"That won't be a problem..." thought Dagonet. "I guess after that I can teach them all about the void and concentrating all your thoughts into a flame in your mind and moving that flame to your hand to create an elemental ball." The void was a wonderus(sp?) thing. The first thing anyone with these powers should learn. It's the starting of all magic attacks with the elements. Though basic, it could still come in handy.

"I guess after that I should let them practice while I take Jenny aside for her special training. She'll be able to harness her void immediately and I'll give her her elemental weapon. She can practice with that, which will be very hard. The others won't get thiers 'till next week..."

And then he saw one of the students coming.

"So you're here!" he shouted.

OOC Thought I should post, even though I'm not going to fight you.

Imric sat up from her deep sleep. She wobbled a bit as her low blood pressure caused her to sit in a daze, something she dreaded for later life.
She brushed back her blue hair slowly, her hand shook slightly and she remembered the night before.

'I have the element of fire?' she thought, a good thing since her speech would be no more than a drunken slur so early in the morning.

She looked over to the others, there were only a few there, and all were awake.
"Why didn?t you prod me?" she asked one of them, she couldn?t remember his name nor did she care,
"It's just that you looked so cute asleep."
he winked at her and Imric snarled, she tried to move but ended up falling flat on her face.

"Damn my low blood pressure." she grumbled.

She heard someone laughing and then Dagonet shouting to someone, it seemed as though the training would begin. Imric managed to haul herself up by using a tree, she stumbled a bit and then found her glasses, she placed them on and twitched her nose.
"Food...."

Before the others woke up, Sebastiene was the first to rise. It was always like that for her, up at the crack of dawn. She thought about waking up Steffanie, but decided against it. She stood up and stretched. God it was great to have control of her own body again.

She looked around at the others. She was right. It must have been true. Everything that Dagonet had said was true. Speaking of that mysterious person, it was dawn, he should have been there. She walked only a little while until she found her answer.

He was sitting next to a tree again. He seemed to like trees. Before she could say anything to him, he beat her to it.

"So you're here!" he shouted to her.

"Yea, hey." She cocked her head to the side, "So, this wasn't a dream, huh?"

Jenny was, quite rudely, pulled out of her wonderful dream by someone shaking her. It was Steffanie, the Air person if she remembered correctly.

"Hey, come on." She mumbled half-heartedly in some immature form of protest, but she dragged herself up. Her legs were very weak, so, comically, Jenny stumbled into a tree. No one (at least the ones who were awake) had the heart to laugh at her, so they went back to their own business.

"Jenny hungry. Me want food." She said, smoothing out her hair and putting her mock-angry face on. She looked around, finding no presence of the Dragonet dude from last night.

"Im going to go find the Dragnet guy, or whatever his name was." She announced, and the others just waved her on. She snorted, dissapointed no one was coming, but she walked off anyways.

She saw Sebby, Jenny couldn't for the life of her remember Sebby's real name, and Dragonet.

"Hey, Draggy! Got any food for your eager-eyed students?"

Takahiro's eyes winced at the sound of others. He slowly woke up from his long nap..."Stop that racket out there!" He shouted to where his window would be if he were at home but realized he wasn't at home. Everyone who was awake looked at him for a second and then laughed. TJ's face turned red, "I thought that last night was a dream...I guess not," he said scratching his head. "What time is it?"

"It's a little while after dawn. You slept for quite a while there, TJ..." Dagonet answered.

"Aw man...how long does this training last?" TJ asked.

"As long as it takes..." Dagonet answered.

TJ's stomach growled loudly, "Hey do we get fed first?"

"I was just asking the same thing..." the girl who got the Ice element said. Her stomach growled, too.

OOC: ARGH! Curse school and time differences!! Just try to keep me included, I try to get on as often as possible but I'm busy. And sorry about the length again, I'll make it up to you....sometime....

Meiko sat up and groaned, moving her stiff limbs. She looked around and noticed she was still in the forest.

"I wasn't dreaming...." she murmered.

Meiko got to her feet and started to stretch her sore muscles. She looked around again and noticed no one else was around so she decided to go off searching. Finally she found the rest of the group again.

"Sorry...Did I miss anything?" she asked, walking towards them.

"No. But we shall begin training right away." Dagonet answered.

"But what about the food?" Jenny asked again.

Dagonet frowned at them. "You need to train." he said.

Meiko just sighed, "Can we just get this over and done with? I want to go home." as she continued to stretch her arms and legs.

"Oooh, this food is gorgeous."
the bun was snatched from her had by an angry Dagonet.

"Hey, I was eating that!" she protested, but Dagonet took no notice of her.

"Your training does not involve stuffing your face." he replied coldly as he threw the half eaten bun into a buch.
Imric whimpered and stood up, flicker her hair behind her as her glasses flashed dangerously shielding her eyes.

"You, Mr. Arsey, have no right to deprive a hungry girl of her food!"

Dagonet looked shocked, no one ever spoke to him like that. The others froze and some giggled waiting to see what his reaction would be.

"I'm the Element of Time, remember? I can freeze time." he smirked. "You can stay there untill you've learned your lesson."

The other students laughed.

"If you are all so hungry then go ahead and eat. You have 10 minutes."

All the students jumped at the food. Imric sighed and looked at it. Dagonet then jumped towards the tree and carved in a sentence.

Is it some sort of special training or just physical strengthening?"

"You'll see as soon as the others finish...Four minutes left to eat!" Dagonet answered.

TJ just took a seat on the ground again and just sat there. He turned away so nobody could see him. Why am I the only guy chosen to help this guy? ?Having fun?? She asked, eyes sparkling.

Imric just glared at her.

Steffanie looked over at Dagonet. ?Sir, what exactly are we supposed to use these? powers, for? Any details you can give us?? Some of the others nodded, still watching him.

OOC: Mr. President, you amaze me sometimes...These are awesome. Anyways, on with the post!!!

IC: Sebby laughed with the others as she watched Dagonet pin Imric to the tree. It was funny, but she gradually felt sorry. As she munched on a hunny bun, she slipped another into the pocket of her orange hoodie-vest so that she could give it to Imric later. Hopefully everyone was taking things so fast that Dagonet had probably not noticed. And she prayed so.

She found fruit! An apple, at least. She immediately scarfed it down when Dagonet stated that there was four minutes left. At least I had some nutrition.

She looked around at the other kids. She noticed that the boy, TJ she thought it was, was standing alone with his back to everyone else. He must feel lonely, being the only guy. I think I'll try to cheer him up before training starts. I know it's not fun to practice when you're down.

She knew she didn't have much time, so she quickly walked over to where TJ was sitting and sat down in front of him.

"Hey giovinetto*! What's the matter?" she asked with a smile, just loud enough so the others wouldn't here her through there own talking.

"Yes that's my name. I was just wondering why you came over here by yourself. There's still some food left you know...TJ...right?"

"Yeah that's me but TJ is my nickname that's short for Takahiro Jinrai. But I kinda ate too much too fast. I don't have time for my stomach to settle to eat anymore..."

"Coming to two minutes, guys. If you want to finish, finish quickly." Dagonet said so everyone could hear.

"I definately don't have enough time...oh well..." he shrugged and put his hat on after putting his glasses in a case and in his pocket.

"What does that symbol mean?" She asked after he put on his hat.

TJ took his hat off and looked at the front and laughed, "Believe it or not, it means 'Light' in Japanese."
