[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]I recently got a new double base and was thining if anyone on Otaku Boards plays the drums. I play mine all the time and I've been playing for a couple years now.

How about you guys? If you have a picture of your drumset that would be cool. I had a picture but lost it somehow... I wish I had an electric drumset.

Do you ever just sit down and just play drums or do you usually just play with music? I play with music but mostly cuz I never took any lessons. But I'm still really good cuz I've been playing for so long.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

I havn't gotten around to learning how to play a drum set (yet), but i'm planing on asking for one for Christman and then my percussion teacher will give me some lessons (or i'll learn on my own and then i'll be named the worse drumer ever.)

I'm more of a Marching Band person (hint my User Name thing) so I'v been playing concert snare, timbales, congos, Djemba, and a bunch on other hand drums and such. From what i'v been told, a drum set isn't too hard to play, but in my oppinion, playing quarter notes on the bass drum while playing sixteenths on everything else sounds hard :(

I usually (when bored) just go into my room and beat on anything I can for the heck of it. [/color]
