Kelsey woke up and she felt dizzy. Her face felt sore. She started to sit up when a hand touched her shoulder.

"Lay back down Kelsey. You're not well."

She recognized Heero's voice. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." he said.

Kelsey knew better to believe him No guy ever admits to his pain. She sat up despite Heero's words and looked at him. He was completely bandaged.

"Heero," she said softly. "What did they do to you?"

He didn't answer. He stood up and got her a glass of water.

She took the glass but didn't drink it. "But why?"

"Because they can't take a hint."

"Heero, where are they now?" she said

"Beats me, but they should think twice before they want to pick a fight with you."

Kelsey put the glass down and stood up, She walked over to where Heero was standing and checked his bandages. They were already stained with blood.

"Heero.."

"It's fine Kelsey." He stood up and put his jacket back on. "We should get you back. Tomorrow, first thing we're going to the Nurses office to get you checked out."

"As long as you get yourself checked out too, Heero." Kelsey took a sip of her water and motioned that she was ready.

Heero went to his closet and pulled out another jacket for her to wear. "Here," he said.

"Heero, it's right around the corner, I think I'll be fine."

"No, I want you to keep it." he said.

She looked at him and took the jacket,

'Now lets go,' he said opening the door and they left

Heeros eyes never stopped scanning the area, she looked at him and smiled but didn't say anything.

Finally reaching Kelseys room and took another look around,

'Will you be ok?' he asked as he looked around

'Yes thank you,' she said

'Ok see you tomorrow,' he said as he turned his back on her and began walking away, Kelsey noticed that blood was dripping off his hand as he walked away

"Heero,"

Heero turned around quickly. He had thought she heard something.

"Heero, are you sure you're okay?"

"Kelsey, I'll be fine once you get inside and lock the doors."

"You're wounds. They're open. You can get an infection if not looked at properly."

"I'm going with you tomorrow, I'll be fine until then, just-"

Kelsey took his hand and showed him the blood. "And I'm not suppose to worry?" she brought him inside.

She sat him in a chair and got her new bandages. They were never used before, but fotunately she knew how to bandage a wound. She removed his jacket and saw that there were many different wounds.

"Heero, if you want me to be honest with you, you have to be honest with me as well. Your wounds are more serious then you let on."

She applied the medicine to the gash in his back, and cringed at the thought of the pain. But Heero didn't move. It actually made her job a lot easier.

"There, all better now." she looked at Heero and smiled. "Never let a man do a womans job." She took the bandages and threw them away. When she came back, Heero was already out the door. She went to the window and saw him equipped with his sword.

OOC: I don't know if your talking about a fight but...I guess i'll go another round

Kelsey saw him running towards the boys who had attacked them, they were also ready with theres

'Oh god!,' she gasped as she quickly grabbed her bow and ran after him, she found them fighting mercilessly, she could see that Heero was struggling from the wounds, suddenly one of them jumped him from behind and hit him in the ribs, she saw him slightly cringe as that same boy kept hitting him, heero ended out elbowing him in the head after the boy struck him hard with the tip of the handle, after knocking him out Heero then fought hard to kept them from causing any more damage, suddenly one of the boys cut his leg but Heero kept going until they gave up

'Enough!,' cried the boy who had started the whole thing, Heero had him down on the ground with his twin Katanas aimed at his throat and Kelsey had her bow and arrow aimed at one of the others

'Leave her a lone and i'll spare your life....you touch her again or even think about going near her....I'll tear your hearts out,' snarled Heero

'Ok..Ok,' exclaimed the boy

Heero let them up and watched them run off, at that moment he began to sway and suddenly he fell over, Kelsey quickly dropped her bow and ran to him, she caught him just before he hit the ground

OOC: Oh who cares. Fights are always great, :laugh:

"Heero?" she whispered

He didn't say anything for a while. He just winced at the pain in his stomach.

"Heero," she stood him up and put one arm on her shoulder, and walked him inside. He collapsed several times before she got him inside. She let him fall on the bed and she go some more bandages from her drawer. "I'm going to be out soon if you keep this up." she laid him on his back and he started coughing up blood. She sat him up and got her basin. He coughed in it and the blood kept coming. She needed to get him some help, but she couldn't bring him anywhere, and her phone had been broken for weeks now.

"Dang it, I knew I should have ahd that fixed." she kicked the dresser. She looked over at Heero and he was still coughing up blood. [i]I don't get it. Why are they after me?[/i]

When he was done she took the basin and put it in her sink. She went back and let him stay on her bed. She went over to the chair and slept. [i]He'll probably be furious that I let him take the bed.[/i] she smiled. [i]Who's going to take care of you Heero? If I don't, who will.[/i] with that, she went to sleep.

Nightmares suddenly filled his head....

[COLOR=Purple]The nightmares...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]'Son...Run!,' his mother screamed as the man grabbed her arms and flung her against the wall

'Mother!,' he cried out as another man grabbed him

'Come on boy you can watch,' laughed the man

'Please don't hurt her....please,' cried his father

'Shut up,' roared another man

"BANG" a gun went off

'Father!!!!!' cried out Heero

'Watch boy!,' spoke the man as he pulled his head back around, h eheard his mother cry and beg to be left alone...he could see it...they made him watch as the beauty was stripped from his mother...He tried to save her...but the grip was too hard

Then suddenly "BANG" another shot fired and her body lay limp

'NOOOOOO,' screamed Heero[/COLOR]

Kelsey was awoken by the sudden out burst of Heero

'NOOOO...MOTHER!,' heero let out a blood curtling roar

Kelsey ran to the bed side as Heero tossed and turned in the bed, she felt his head and it was hot suddenly he bolted up but realised that his stomach hurt and he curled up into a ball....His body sheivered as if cold,

'Oh Heero....I don't know what to do?....' whispered Kelsey

Realising that Kelsey was looking at him, he rolled off the bed

'I want to go back to my dorm room....' he stuttered as he tried to stand

'Heero please...don't be a fool....you need to rest,' snapped Kelsey as she grabbed Heeros arms before he could crawl out the door

'No...Please....let me go,' he stuttered as he looked up at her, tears rolled down his cheeks, the sadness in his eyes was over whelming that it made tears roll down her face

'No i won't let you go like that,' she whispered, 'You need some one to take care of you,'

'No...I can look after myself....just let me go,' he cried as he put his head down, 'Let me go...please...'

'No,' she whispered as she held on to his arms, she knew that he was to weak to pull out of her grip

"Stay here." she whispered in his ear. He shook violently as she pulled him back. He was kneeling over the floor and Kelsey was supporting what she could support.

"I'm looking after you Heero. I'm taking care of you." she said.

He put his nad on his face and wept. He was in emotional as well as physical pain. "Stay here. and I will help you. Trust me." she said. She lifted his arm to help him stand.

Heero dried the tears from his eyes and started out the door, when he saw Kelsey run in front of him. "Please Kelsey. Let me go."

"No, I'm going to protect you. I'm protecting you from yourself. From your past, and from your nightmares." she went up to him and took his hand that she had bandaged earlier. "You need someone to look after you. And i', going tolook after you like you've looked after me." she released his hand and he began to cry again. She stepped closer and held onto him. He wept in he hair as she tried to be strong for the both of them. But she was determined not to let him go.

Heero tried to pull away but she held on, Heeros legs suddenly gave way on him and he feel to his knees, while she still held on, she wasn't strong enough to support them both so she ended out falling down aswell, she grabbed his arms again as he tried to crawl for the door and pulled him closer to her

'I wont let you go,' she as she held on to him tightly, at that moment his body went limp and his fore head rested on her shoulder, he looked up at her as tears rolled down his cheeks, 'What happened Heero tell me! tell me what happened!,' she demanded

'They....they hurt her...I couldn't stop them...they made me watch....my mother they made me watch as they hurt her, they stole her beauty...and then they killed her....they killed her and they made me watch and they laughed....they hurt her...I tried...i tried to save her honestly...and my father...i tried...oh how i tried....i failed her...i failed the both of them....now you know,' he whispered as he looked at her, Kelsey's eye's swelled realizing that he had lived with that for a very long time, she pulled him close and he cried in her lap as she put her arms around him

'I'm sorry,' she whispered in his ear, ' I'm so sorry,' tears fell down her cheeks as she felt the pain tremble through Heeros body

Later, Kelsey was staring out of the nurse?s window. She and Heero had walked to the office right when it was open. Heero had insisted that she be checked on first, but Kelsey knew he was just being protective again.

After they had checked her, and reaffirmed her healthiness, they took Heero in. She knew he would be in need of stitches and further medication for the wounds. So she suspected it would take a while.

She knew he watched his parents die in front of him. She wondered how it must have felt. She knew Jake had nightmares too when he saw their mother die. But this was different. Heero was [i]forced[/i] to watch his parents suffer. She cringed at the thought of being forced to watch those you love die. She saw Cat pass by the window. Cat was smiling. She didn?t understand what had happened to the once quiet girl, but she knew it must have been something good. She decided to go out and talk to her.

?Hey, Cat!? she called.

Cat turned around. ?Oh hi Kelsey.?

?Well you look happy. Did you get to break someone?s jaw?? Kelsey said with a smile.

?Yeah, some thing like that.? She smiled. ?No, some other things have happened, and I?m feeling a lot better because of it. So how are you??

?I?m fine. Well, I?m fine, but Heero isn?t. He got in another fight yesterday so we came here to get him some help.?

Cat looked worried, ?Is everything all right??

?Well, I?m no doctor, but I?m sure he?ll be just fine.? Kelsey said. She smiled a little, but she was really thinking about what happened after the fight.

?What happened to him?? she asked

?Well, you know those boys you scared off for me yesterday? Well they came back and ambushed us. Heero took them all out, no help from me though. I got myself knocked out.?

?But you?re okay now.? She said

?Yeah, I was fine. He was walking me back to my dorm when they tried it again. But they got him pretty hard that time. It was awful cat. I just wish I could defend myself for a change.?

?Well this is Kurakow, they do [i]teach[/i] that kind of stuff here you know.? She said with a teasing tone to her voice.

?I know.? And then the nurse came out and smiled. ?He?s okay now, you can see him Ms. ViTain.?

?Thanks. Come on, I don?t think he?ll mind the company.? She said as she smiled at Cat.

They went inside and saw a bandaged Heero putting his jacket on.

?How are you feeling?? Kelsey asked. Cat followed her in.

?Fine now, thanks to the nurses. They did a pretty good job.? He said looking at his own bandages.

?And my work was anything less than perfect, right?? she said jokingly.

?Something like that.? He saw Cat, and Cat smiled.

?Hey Heero.?

Heero smiled a little. ?Hey Cat. You look better.?

?I?m feeling better. Thanks for helping me yesterday. I think I needed that.? She smiled.

Kelsey looked a little confused but she finally understood. ?Heero, you?ve been a very busy guy lately, haven?t you.? She smiled.

?Busier than I?ve ever been. Come on, let?s get out of here.?

They walked across the grounds people ran in different directions trying to make it to their classes, Heero felt embarrassed about what had happened last night...He needed time alone for a while

'I'll see yous later,' said Heero bluntly and he walked off in another direction leaving Cat and Kelsey confused by his sudden departure

Heero walked along the edge of the school grounds, thinking about what had happened

'How could i have let myself get so emotional...dammit...Heero you stupid fool,' he mumbled to himself, 'How could i have let it go,'

Heero sat down next to a post and lent against it and looked out towards the school

Kita was walking around the perimeter cursign to herself about falling out of the tree the night before and hurting herself. "that was stupid of me how could you do that. well atleast the nurses didn't ask too many questions." she muttered rubbing the bandages on her arms where she was cut by her sword. as she walked on she nearly tripped over Heero. "oh hey i am sorry." she muttered backing up.

He didn't answer her he just stared off into the distance.

"umm are you allright?" she asked tilting her head. When he didn't answer again she sat down. "I don't see how the veiw is that interesting." she chimed with a big smile.

Heero looked at the girl and then looked back at the school

'What makes you think i'm interested in the view?' he questioned after a whole of two minutes

Kita looked at him, 'Oh...then what are you doing?' she asked

Heero didn't answer, he gently laid back and looked up at the sky, Kita then laid down beside him trying to figure out what he was looking at

'Well...I can't see whats so interesting up there so you must be thinking,' she said as she proped herself up on one elbow and pressed her cheek against his trying to figure out what he was looking at,

'Remove your cheek from mine before you have none,' growled heero, Kita sighed and sat up

'You don't have to get all grumpy like,' she pouted crossing her arms, Heero sat up and looked at her

'Don't you have anyone else you can annoy?,' he said bluntly

'Nope,' she grinned,

Heero put his head down and shook it slightly

'So what are you thinking about?' she asked as she turned around to face him

'Why does everyone have to know what i'm thinking,' exclaimed Heero as he fell back,

'Because...you hardly say anything and your always sitting down somewhere just gazing off into another world which if i may add always looks as though it's worser then where you are now,' she sang as she flung her self backwards

Heero then stood up and began walking away

'Hey where you going!,' called Kita as she stood up, she watched him walk off as if she didn't exsist

Kita started at him blankly, "i think that i made him mad...why do i always seem to do that sort of thing." she muttered rubbing her head. "maybe later i can catch up to him and make amends, when he is not in such a bad mood, or so deep in thought."
Kita adjusted her weapons and walked off in the same direction that he was heading in but instead of following him she walked towards the school. she stopped and spun on her heels towards Heero. "I am sorry for bothering you!!" she yelled to him before walking inside of the school.

[I]maybe later i will go and try to find him. I might have something to talk about then that won't be so touchy with him. he seems like a nice guy. [/I] she thought.

Heero heard Kita yell and turned around, he rubbed the back of his neck and then watched her dispear into the school he sighed and went to the creek, he wanted a swim but he didn't want to get his bandages wet so he just sat on the side, he scooped up some pebbles and began throwing them into the water

'She didn't bother me, i just wanted a quiet time to myself,' he whispered as he looked at his reflection in the water, 'Will i ever get over this misery...theres only one way i know how...but not yet...not while there are matters to sort out first such as avenging my parents...I will find out who done this and when i do and i finally take my revenge, only then my soul will be put to rest.....

Kelsey watched Heero walk off.

"Where's he going?" asked Cat.

"I don't know, but I'm going to go after him. I'll meet you at lunch today, how's that sound?"

"Sounds great, see you then." Cat smiled and walked to her class.

Kelsey knew he wasn't going to class, because his first class was [i]her[/i] first class. She smiled and walked to find Heero.

She found sitting by the creek. "Heero?"

Heero looked up and saw it was Kelsey. He knew she was wondering why he's here. She sat next to him, and they remained silent. It was only then, that Heero spoke. "I'm sorry." he said softly

"For what?" Kelsey asked

"For last night. I shouldn't have been like that. All Emotional ... It wasn't fair to you."

"Heero, you were having those dreams again. I know what that's like. Except I wake up [i]wanting[/i] to be dreaming again. You wake up being tormented by the images you have to live with." she said.

"I can't get rid of them. I want to forget. I want to forget it all."

Kelsey couldn't say anything. Whenever she dreamed, she was with her family, and they were enjoying themselves all together. She didn't have to live with the images of her mother dying, or her father killing himself. Nor did she have to live with the images of her brother becoming hopelessly sad, and killing himself. Her dreams were always happy, and she wished that she could forever dream. "But when you wake up, it's all gone, and your stuck with a reality that doesn't seem real. And the dreams,"

Heero listened to her, she was thinking out loud. But she continued.

"The dreams become a constant reminder of the way things used to be. The way things could have been, and the way things should have been. Nobody deserves to have their childhood stolen from them. Nobody. We all deserve happiness. We all deserve a good life. None of us should live to suffer the past."

Heero was silent. She knew he was thinking about what she said. She was thinking about it as well. They sat there for about 15 minutes when Kelsey looked at her watch. "Dang it. we're going to be late. And I promised Cat we'd meet her for lunch today! How can I do that if Ms. Grump gives me another detention??"

"You can always tell her you were just enjoying nature." Heero said as he stood up.

"Very funny, you don't have to worry because you're her favorite student."

"Well that's true. She won't give you a detention. I'll just tell her you were helping me with something."

Kesley thought about the idea and smiled. "I knew having you as a friend would come in handy." she started walking to the class when Heero stopped her.

She looked at Heero with a questioning glance. He looked serious.

"Thank you Kelsey. For everything," he said.

She smiled and put her hand on his face. "You've suffered too much in life. We both have, It's time to move on."

He gazed into her eyes for a while and smiled. They walked to their class.

'Why do you make it sound so easy,' he whispered to himself

Kelsey turned around, 'What?'

'Nothing,' he replied

They got to class and Ms. Grump came down hard on Kelsey

'That was my fault, she was helping me,' Heero spoke up, the teacher looked at her with a frown

'I'll let you off this Time Kelsey,' she hissed

'Thank you Miss,' replied Kelsey

'Heero how are we today?' the teacher smiled

'Fine,' replied Heero bluntly as he walked passed her with out looking at her, Kelsey followed Heero and they began practising

'I've never seen you miss one shot heero,' smiled Kelsey as she watched him line up his target, carefully she walked over and looked down the arrow with him

'What are you doing?' he asked not looking at her as she pressed her temple against his

'Having a look,' she replied pulling her head away an inch

Just before letting the arrow go she blew softly in his focused eyes and he accidently blinked and let it go, the arro sored off in another direction and Kelsey laughed while Heero looked at her with a raised eyebrow

'I see one of us is amused,' Heero smiled at her as she stood looking victorious at her achievment

Kelsey laughed. "Oh, poor Heero. Did you mess up? Teacher won't be so proud of you now." she smiled and went over to her targeting area. "Here, let the master teach you how it's done." She let her arrow go and it actually hit the targeting zone. She was actually amazed that she hit it.

"Hey, you're pretty good." Heero said.

"Um, yeah, happens all the time." she said, but she knew he didn't believe her. He laughed and turned around.

"What? You don't believe me? I'm a pretty skilled shot."

"Sure you are Kelsey. SURE you are." he shot an arrow and it, too hit the bullseye.

"Care to make a little wager?"

"Fine by me. What are the stakes?"

"We shoot 20 Arrows. Whoever loses has to buy the other person lunch."

"Fine, oh, and I'll like a BIG lunch today. I'm quite hungry."

"Just make sure you order two." she said, and they began.

Later that Day:

"I can't believe you're actually making me by you lunch." Kelsey muttered.

"Well, that's what you get when you gamble. Besides, you would have forced me to buy you lunch if it was the other way around." he said. He laughed. "Oh, and get me a larger soda, this one's too small."

"Jerk. I'll spit in it if I hear one more request." she threatened.

Heero laughed. he gathered the rest of his food, and they made their way to find Cat.

IC:

Cat was sitting at a table under a tree

'Woe now thats some lunch there Heero,' smiled Cat

'Thanks to Kelsey,' he smiled, Cat got a fright to see Heero smile

Kelsey cursed under her breath but she couldn't stay mad at Heero and she smiled back

They ate their lunch and sat there for a moment, Heero drank his drink while Cat and Kelsey spoke about other things that he didn't care to listen to.

After Heero drunk the rest of his drink he stood up

'Now where are you going?' questioned Kelsey

'For a swim,' he replied

'What!,' exclaimed Kelsey, 'Heero! your bandages will get wet,'

'Who cares i'm hot and there is such a thing as go back to the nurses office and get them redone,' he said walking away from them

Cat laughed as she watched him walk off, 'Its good seeing him smile,'

'yeah it is but...I'm just wondering if that's just for show because his eyes are still sad,' said Kelsey

'His hurt goes deeper, I don't think you'll ever get his eyes to truely be happy, but at least he's smiling,' said Cat

"Well, he's hurting, I know that much. Some wounds, if they are deep enough, will never go away. I worry about him Cat."

"I'm worried about you."

"What? What are you talking about?"

"You're using Heero as a distraction. You want him to feel better, but you're not doing anything to help yourself." Cat said as she finished her drink.

"I'm fine, Cat. My problems aren't nearly as big as Heero's. I'm not haunted by the past. At least not in the way he is. I want to help him, but there's nothing more I can do but be there for him."

"Well I think you're doing a good job, he seems happier when he's around you."

"Yeah, I just wish he was happier period." she sighed as she finished her plate.

Heero dove into the water, the only reason why he wanted a swim was because of Kelsey, he couldn't stop thinking about how much she had helped him but he had never really done aything for her to help her with her past, it felt wrong to do that, he closed his eyes and the first vision he saw was her smiling, he opened his eyes and smiled at the thought,

He began remembering what had happened at their archery class, for once he enjoyed it and it was all because of her, she ment alot to him...but he could never tell her that.

He turned on his stomach and dove under the water, the cold water always cleared his mind but for some reason he couldn't shake Kelseys face out of his head.

After lunch, Kelsey went over to the spot under the tree. She would go see Heero later. She knew he probably wanted some time alone. She was about to go to sleep when she saw Lex running toward her.

"Kelsey!" Lex said

"Oh hi Mr. Van, how are you?"

"I'm fine, where's Heero?" Lex looked worried.

"He went for a swim. Why? Is something wrong?" she stood up from her spot under the tree.

He looked on her face and noticed the bandage on her forehead. "Were you two attacked last night?" he asked, gripping his sword.

"Yeah, twice in fact, it was those same boys from yesterday." she started getting worried. "What's going on?" she said

"Heero's in trouble. A student of mine says that he overheard them saying they're going to get him back for what he did to them yesterday. At first I thought it was just for what happened at lunch, but now I know it's more serious than that."

"Lex, they tore him up yesterday. He had to go in for stiches this morning. We have to get to him now." Kelsey started running toward the Creek.

"Where are you going?" Lex asked as he followed.

Kelsey picked up her Bow and arrows that were left on the fence. "I know where he is. Hopefully we'll get there before them."

"Kelsey, they left at the beginning of lunch, there's no way-"

"I know a shortcut. We have to get there!" and Kelsey ran full speed to the clearing he ahd shown her yesterday.

OOC: Cool Twist!

IC:

Heero had gotten of the water at that moment a rope was flung over his head and his whole body was pulled backwards and he hit the ground hard and was dragged through the bushes, Heero's body was flung around like a rag doll then it stopped

'So did you think that you were going to get away that easily,' came a deep familiar voice, Heero looked up and saw the same boys from lastnight, they lifted him off the ground and tied up his hands and hung him from the tree

'Now you will feel pain and we will make you scream...you heartless bastard,' laughed one of the boys

Heeros legs dangled a few inches off the ground, He looked around but his vision was blurred

'I will make you scream,' said the boy as he unrolled a whip and cracked it, 'and then we're going to have fun with your pretty girlfriend,'

'You leave her alone!, don't you touch her!,' roared Heero in anger as it brought back painful memories of his past

'And what are you going to do about it,' they laughed suddenly the boy crackedd the whip against Heeros bare back, pain serged through his body as his muslces tensed

'Oh hell...,' heero mumbled as they repeated the whippings

'Scream! scream!,' laughed the boys

The pain was too much for Heero to bear that he let out a blood curtling yell, his head throbbed and his body had grown numb, they then cut him down and began beating him...but he couldn't feel the pain as they kicked him in the mid section

at that moment an arrow was sent flying from the other side of the creek and was inlodged in the leg of one of the boys, who let out a scream

'You leave him alone!,' she roared as tears rolled down her face as she saw the state he was in, she then released another arrow which missed and hit a tree, one of the boys then pushed heero into the water

'Hope you like your watery grave Heero!,' laughed one of the other boys, Lex suddenly ran towards them and began fighting with them but they couldn't handle the way Lex fought and they took off, Kelsey made sure she got another one of the boys , she heard him scream as they disappeared in to the bushes, dropping her bow and arrows she jumped into the water with Lex right behind her,

'Heero....Heero,' she screamed but he didn't answer or move as he lay floating face down in the water

suddenly he began to sink so Kelsey dove under water, she had to come up twice for air but on the third round she found him and pulled him back up to the surface

Lex took Heero from Kelsey who was shievering and dragged him to the side, blood dripped from him like waterfalls

'Oh god,' Kelsey cried

'I'll go get help, you stay with him!,' exclaimed Lex as he rolled Heero on to his side and saw whippings and where he had been thrashed lastnight, his face only had a cut above the eye brow but his mid section was bruised and blood glistened in the corner of his mouth. Kelsey dropped down beside heero and rested his head on her lap

'It's going to be ok.....it'll be alright,' whispered kelsey as she could hear how shallow his breathing was, she ran her fingers throguh his hair

Kelsey's heart was racing, He was still and his face was turning blue. She grabbed his clothes from the bank and covered his wounds. The gash in his back from the night before was worse. She started crying because of all the blood she saw. She looked at Heero, and his eyes were still closed.

She cradled his head in her lap as she tried wiping the blood off his face. "Don't give up on me Heero. You're a fighter. You can get through this." she whispered. She saw his bruises and started crying again. "Please wake up, Heero, let me know you'll be okay." she said. She stroked his cheek and wept softly. He needed help and fast. Where was Lex? Why hadn't he brought someone yet?

Kelesy looked at Heero. She hated what happened to him. She wanted to hunt them down and shoot every single one of them. Her anger blazed within her, but she couldn't leave Heero. She needed him to wake up. She put her headon Heero's and cried some more. He wasn't moving.

"Somebody Please!! Help!!" she cried. But no one heard her.

Just then, Heero began to stir, and he finally opened his eyes.

Kelsey smiled. "Heero, we need to have a talk about your outdoor hobbies."

He smiled faintly in reply.

He slowly and painfully lifted his hand and touched her cheek, he cringed at the pain that shot through his body but he didn't care as he began to sheiver and his eyelid began to droop

'Heero....Heero,' whispered Kelsey

But his eyes rolled back inton his head, Kelsey the screamed his name and he opened his eyes again

'Don't you do that...if that is your way of saying good bye then it sucks!, you leave me now and i'll hate you....I'll hate you!,' she screamed as tears rolled streamed down her face, Heero arched his back in pain

'But i have....nothing to...live for,' he whispered as if struggling to speak

'Yes you have life to live for...you have life,' she cried

'What good...is life ...when theres no future for...someone like me,' he coughed

'No Heero please don't think like that please....please...at least live for me...don't leave me now...not now...please don't give up on me,' she whispered, Heero looked deep into her eyes and saw the sadness, the same type of sadness that glistened in his eyes, he couldn't leave her like that...but he was just so tired and he could feel himself letting go

'I will try....for you only,' he whispered tiredly, kelsey wiped the tears but they just kept falling

Anger swelled in his heart as he looked at how much pain those boys had caused and he wasn't talking about physical, he ment the pain in Kelseys eyes, he now wanted revenge for what they did to him and to her, again he wiped away another one of her tears and smiled weakly as she wiped the blood away and smiled back

Kelsey closed her eyes. The tears stopped falling. "Save your strength Heero. You have so much to live for. You have a future. Everyone has. Life was given to you, not to be wasted, but to be used to it's fullest. Don't give up on that gift. The ones we loved only were able to enjoy their gift for a short while. I'm sure they all wanted to live as long as they could. But their lives were cut short. Don't mock them by throwing that gift away. Hold onto it. They would have if they could." she said sadly. "Don't be like Jake. Don't give up so fast. You never know when things might turn out better. You never know what the next day will bring."

Heero tried moving but the pain worsened. He yelled in pain as he fought the coming darkness that seemed to be stealing his life away. All he could remember was his parents death and how painful it was to watch them die. He couldn't let that happen to Kelsey. He couldn't put her through that kind of pain. He held on as hard as he could.

Then, out of the bushes, Lex and about 5 other medics came and started putting Heero on a crate. Kelsey watched as they lifted the lifeless Heero. She cried even harder when he cried in pain. The medics left and Kelsey ran back to the creek.

"Kelsey! Where are you going?" Lex asked

"I have to get his weapons. It's special to him, I can't leave them here." she ran back to the creek, and found them against the rock. She picked them up and turned around just to see 2 of the boys from earlier.

"Where's your guardian angel now little girl?" said the leader

"You thought you were pretty funny back there, hitting to of our guys like that. You'll regret ever crossing paths with us."

Kelsey was burning with anger, "Actually, if I'm not mistaken, you crossed paths with me first."

"Pretty smart words for a girl." He touched her cheek "Just the way we like them"

With that Kelsey backed away and used the twin Katanas and sliced his hand.

He winced in pain and cursed at Kelsey.

"Don't you EVER touch me you slime." she said.

The other one walked up to her, keeping a safe distance from the twin katanas. "You may think this is over, but we've got friends girl. Friends who are more powerful than us. We won't be finished until your boyfriend has suffered the imaginable and is dead."

"Leave or I'll slice your face in half." they turned around and left. She waited until she knew they were gone, and ran to the nurses office, and went to see Heero.
