OOC: What happened to finding out about the gems?

ICC: Unbeknownst to the two of them, Asaku had witnessed the Kiss between Aida and Kitty...he also that night he heard the discussion between Takahiro and Sakura about the Gems...

Asaku awoke the next morning to the sound of Kitty pounding on the door. "Asaku wake up, you're going to be late....again." "I'm not going today, I feel sort of sick" Asaku replied. "You've never missed a day of school before, no matter how sick you are....you may be late all the time but never miss" She said impatiantally. "I know but today I feel really bad, I think I'm still recovering from the fight with Shinoshu....just go by my class and get my homework" As he listened for the last Angel to depart for class Asaku arrose from bed. "I guess its time....theres nothing left for me." Asaku said to himself. Asaku arrose from bed and called forth his angel powers to teleport to school, and after a quick conversation with the school guidance counsler he flew to the only dark cloud in the sky....the blackest...most frightening looking cloud ever seen.

Later that day....
Kitty knocked on Asaku's teachers door..."excuse me sir, I'm here to pick up Asaku's homework" Asaku's teacher looked very confused. "I'm not sure what you are talking about miss, Asaku resigned from school today" He said obviously puzzled.....

Meanwhile....
"Shinoshu seems to recall something about the Angels possessing some sort of gem...giving them powers even a demon as powerful as Shinoshu can't match." A manevolent, growling voice said. "Can I count on you to aid me?"......Asaku merley listened...unsure of the reply he should give.

Saio stopped in a super market, but found it ot be strangely empty. There were no clerks, no customers......nothing.

Shonishu stands above Saio, and attacks. Saio braces himself, but the stench of dead things reaches his nose, making him gag.

"what is that????" But, Saio is answered. The people who had been here had all been turned into corpse puppets.

"No....." Saio whispers, backing away. they were innocents... how could you?"

"Humans are insignificant, they are not like us."

The dead men,women,children, all aproach him, and Saio resorts to his most leathal attack, at least for those who's souls have left their bodies.


They all freeze, and shatter.

Saio cries out, Shinoshu has taken hold of him, and slipped a colar of some sort on him. "Some one, please help me!" Saio can feel his power draining, but he flees.

He stumbles into the doorm, all kinds of upset. "HE"S COMING!!!!!!" Saio screams, before passing out.

[Gelgoog Pilot]

Yojimbo was just kicking the kitchen counter when Saio Stumbled in. He had been kicked out of school for sleeping in three classes. He was used to it but he still became angry over it every time.

"Saio? What the Hell.....I sense dark energies about you." He turned to the huffing teenager.

"Yes its a control collar or something, listen he's coming for us. He's already slaughtered an entire store of people. We have to end him NOW." Saio struggled with the collar trying to pry it off but he passed out. The sudden noise of a door being kicked in caught Yojimbo's attention.

"Surprise surprise.....Awwwww look if it isn't my favorite nephew and my favorite angel. I'll have to be extra tough on you two HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Shinoshu dived in with his jagged spear, missing both fighters as they frantically dodged.

Yojimbo's scythe was in his hand, and had it swinging for the demon's neck. He missed as the spear deflected his attack. A quick movement and Shinoshu's elbow was in Yojimbo's side. He hit his knees in utter pain. He used the mind link then [Shit....I need you all here NOW we have company. I'll hold him off till you arrive.]

Hoping the others recieved it he jumped up and counter-attacked, arching his scythe upwards he then brought it down upon the spear's shaft. It shattered. Saio was motionless the collar rendering his strength useless. Shinoshu stepped back, laughing again insanely. Then, a dark and familiar figure stepped foth between Yojimbo and the demon.

"Asuka, thank God you're here. Let's get down to business. I-" He was cut off by Asuka's attack. It of course threw Yojimbo off guard, but luckily he had defended at the last moment. A heavy metalic 'clank' sounded as the weapons met. Yojimbo fell back on his knees once again.

"Asuka! What are you doing!"

"Forgive me, but....I'm following my own path... nothing personal Yojimbo." His voice only faltered a bit, the rest was said in a cold and heartless tone.

Standing up again Yojimbo brought his scythe to a ready position.

"You realise I won't go easy on you Asuka, you've turnt, and now I'll have to execute you as well....I'm sorry. It's the way of justice." Just then the runic 'justice' symbol began to glow, and Yojimbo gave a cry of attack.

Saio stands, his eyes oddly hollow. Shinoshu's voice can be heard speaking through Saio.

"Fools, all of you." Saio twirls his hand, a wicked looking scythe appearing, the blade made of a black material. Saio's expression leaves no trace of the lonely boy thay once resided in that body.

Saio whirls it, attacking. Shinoshu stands apart, watching Saio do his dirty work. Takahiro enters, weapon raised. Saio turns on him, and his scythe points at his throat.

"Die." Shinoshu speaks, and Saio launches an all out assult. Saio's movements are fast, too fast. It isn't long before Saio has Takahiro on the ground, and is about to remove his head.

There is a 'whoosh' and the coloar around Saio's neck falls away. The life enters back into Saio's eyes, and anger pulses through him. The scythe disappears, and Saio attacks Shinoshu.

But Shinoshu is prepared, he knocks Saio out and then sits him on his shoulder.

"Saio is mine now!" Shinoshu cackles, leaving with the unconcious Saio.

Asaku stood there....he could sense the other angels approaching. "Yoji...forgive me but I cannot allow you to screw my plans" He could feel Takahiro raise X-Calibur towards him, but it did not phase the now dark angel. Yoji watched Asaku with a puzzled look on his face. The dark angel began to glow a faint yellow, a ball of energy began forming in his hand. BANG, the whole room went quiet.

"Huh!?" Both Yoji, and Takahiro exclaimed in unison. Asaku was still generating the ball of energy in his hand as if nothing had happened. "Ahhh!" Asaku cried as he loosed the blast of green energy straight through the window and into the sky. Both Yoji and Taka hiro could do nothing but watch as the ball of energy reached its peak in the sky and erupted into an enormous blast. "A...Asaku?" Takahiro cringed "when did you become that strong" "Sweet isn't it" Asaku grinned "I met Orion and informed him of my unhappiness with the group, he obliged my new loyalty by granting me my gem, which he happened to take from an unfortunate customer at the store earlier." Asaku's evil grin grew wider as he looked to the two.

"Now both of you will be the first ones to rejoice in my new found powers" Asaku cried ecstatically. His wings erupted as he called forth his sword. A blaze of pure power swirled all around him. "Now feel the true meaning of power" Asaku cried as he pointed his sword towards Yojimgo. BANG BANG BANG Takahiro unloaded three shots....Asaku moved with a speed even faster than Shinoshu's illusion did the first time they battled...so fast neither of the two hero could even detect it. Crack Asakus blade of Love and Power cut the blade from Yojimbo's Schythe, the force of the blow knocking Yojimbo to the ground. Asaku turned towards Takahiro, already preparing another shot.

"haha fool" Asaku laughed as he loosed a ball of energy at Takahiro, "Uggh" was all the angel could say as he was flung into a wall...completly uncouscious. "I'll destory you Asaku" Yojimbo cried as he regenerated his schythe and charged at Asaku....but before he could even swing his weapon he met with another one of Asaku's energy blasts throwing him across the room...also unconscious. "Asaku!?" Kitty and Aida were the first angels to answer the earlier call from Yojimbo. But before either of them could summon their weapons Asaku was standing in front of them. "I wish I could say sorry....because I know I should be" Asaku said mournfully. Aida lunged at Asaku...but quicker than he could register Asaku's fist made contact with Aidas face throwing him to the ground....Looking towards Kitty, who could do no more than stare in disbelief. "Kitty....believe" Was all he said before teleporting himself out of the angels sanctuary.....

[Redemption]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]Sakura arrived too late. SHe saw Asaku but somehting was different about him. [I]Darkness.....[/I] She was about to talk to him when he and the demon they hadbeen fighting before, vanished in a dark mist.
" Asaku....." she whispered before seeing Takahiro unconscious at the base of a wall.
" Takahiro!" She rushed over to him. He was bleeding slightly from the forehead but nothing major. She breathed a sigh of relief. Clutching Takahiro in her arms, she turned to the others. Saio and Yojimbo were out cold and Aida and Kitty were staring at the spot where Asaku disappeared with looks of disbelief on their faces. Tears glistened at the edges of Sakura's eyes.
" I'm sorry everyone. I didn't do my mission as I was told....Lillyana knew this was coming...." she whispered softly, clutching Takahiro to her. Two drops landed on Takahiro's forehead. With all her might, Sakura lifted him up and, with her wings now spread from her back, she moved him to his bed. Now safe with a powerful spell around his room, Sakura went back downstairs to help the others. Kitty and Aida were helping Yojimbo come around. Sakua looked at Saio and the sadness grew inside of her. Bending over him, she could see he was coming around. More tears leaked out of her eyes and over her cheeks.

[I]Oh Asaku, I'm so sorry. I've failed you. Lillyana said to me that one of us would be turned. I should have warned you all. I'M SUCH A FOOL![/I]

Saio opened his eyes to see Sakura above him.
" Sa...Sakura...what happened?" he asked, now sitting up.
" Asaku turned to the other side....he's gone."
" No!" Saio turned to look at the others. He noticed someone missing. " Takahiro....Takahiro! Where is my brother?!?!?"
" Don't panic. He's upstairs resting."
Sakura looked to Yojimbo who looked devastated. As well as Aida and Kitty.
" What are we going to do now?"

Yojimbo cluthed his side, the wounds had been mostly heald, that was what was now cousing the intense pain. His wounds had opened again his new skin ripped apart. His left arm was raw, having blocked the brunt of the energy. He had an angry look in his eyes as he struggled to his feet. He began mumbling ot himself, yet the others could hear him plainly.

"I'm sorry Asuka...I'll ease your pain, justice will be served....I'll make sure you rest well my friend...I will."

"What are you talking about Yoji?" Sakura's confused voice sounded, a concerned look on her face.

"He....he had a sad look in his eyes, he's trapped in their...something happened and part of him snapped. His soul is now tore. Like I said, I'll ease his pain and send him to the heavens."

He then stumbled up the stairs, drained both spiritually and physically. He had laid on his bed for a long time thinking, of a way to destroy their old friend. Presently Sakura knocked on his door and then walked in. She was worried and was there no doubt to seek some sort of council from her old companion.

She looked down at Yojimbo's messy floor. "What do we do old friend? What do we do...."

"There isn't much we can do." Sakura looked up startled "I mean...having his Jem gives him a huge advantage. All we can do is wait...but I do have one theory. That look he gave kitty, it was the last thing I remember seeing before I blacked out. He looked so sadly at her, SHE is our only trump card right now...We...better keep this from Kitty though...No need to give her added stress."

"Maybe you're right...I don't know....you know how horrible I am at leading Yoji..."

"No...you aren't...you're new to it. Also, this is a huge task before us...you'll take time, and I'll be there for you as well as everyone else...you're the one we look to after all..."

Saio wakes in a cold dark place. He's struggleing tyo keep his mind, he's trying to keep from being brainwashed.


But succeeds in resisting the dark powers, but Once again, Saio is no match for Shinoshu's control colar. Yet, it is different. He has a personality, he is just loyal to Shinoshu....... a twisted angel.

Saio has been warped into a twisted mental being, whose sanity is fleeting. He is loyal only to Shinoshu now, a warrior of the dark abyss.


"Kill Takahiro......Kill Kitty.....Kill Sakura..... Kill them all."


Saio's face breaks into a twisted smile. "Yes Master." Yet he iss oddly hollow, like he only acts out this part.

"Enjoy their deaths......"


Saio's face twists even more. "Yes, Master."


Saio spreads his dark wings, and flies off to kill what was once his freinds.


o.o.c: okay, Saio will attack, but hiscolar can't be taken off untill i want it off. no killing him!

[Kayin Cloud]

Takahiro was still unconscious. He had just started to awaken. He jumped up and pointed his pistol straight forward. He put the gun away when he realized he was no longer fighting and was in his room. [I]How did I get here? I remember fighting Asaku and Shinoshu...and then...Asaku hit me with that energy blast...[/I] Takahiro felt his forehead. He looked at his hand to see some blood on it. There wasn't very much that came off since it had dried quite a bit. He walked to his door and opened it. "What the? Why is there a spell on my room? It's one of Sakura's...Sakura!" Takahiro bolted down the hall and heard talking coming from Yojimbo's room. One of the voices was Sakura's and the other was Yojimbo's. "Oh good they're both alright..." Takahiro knocked on the door.

"Hm? Who is it?" Yojimbo asked approaching the door.

"It's Taka..." Takahiro replied.

Yojimbo opened the door. "So you're finally awake?" He said crossing his arms.

"Yeah...Yojimbo what happened to Asaku and Shinoshu? And what about my brother...where is he?" Takahiro asked.

"They left with Shinoshu...together..." Sakura answered.

Takahiro fell silent. He couldn't believe that Saio was taken or that Asaku betrayed them. "We have to find our gems...We'll stop Shinoshu and free our friends from his control...We have to..."

"But how do we find these gems huh? Did you think about that Takahiro? What if we can't find them then what?" Yojimbo asked.

"We'll cross that river when we get to it..." Takahiro replied.

Kitty was in her room, sobbing relentlessly while pounding on her closet door. The thought of Asaku working for the demon tore at her. She didn't know why or how or anything except he was an enemy now. And if he was an enemy, she would have to bring him down.

But she didn't want to. Kitty wanted to help him, to change his mind, anything! As long as it got him back on their side. Back on her side. She did not want anyone to hurt him, but she knew they could not be swayed. They were determined to kill him, and she knew it.

Her knuckles were bleeding, but that did not stop her. She wanted to slam on that door until the pain of her fist overcame her pain of losing Asaku. But she heard a crash downstairs. [i]It's Asaku![/i] was the first thing that crossed her mind. She stopped slamming and sobbing and stood quietly in front of her closet.

"I need my gem," she said suddenly. She opened her window and flew off, not knowing where she was going. A few seconds after she had left, Aida ran into her room to try and save her from Saio, who was downstairs ripping apart the living room looking for them all. "Kitty...?" he whispered, noticing the open window. The others ran downstairs past him, calling for him to follow.[/color][/size]

"[B]Why did you not kill them!?[/B] " Orion's gruff voice screamed in his head. "[B]You had them in your grasp and you let them live....why?[/B] " Orion was livid now. The fire in his eyes exploding. "Sir....I thought it best to let them suffer a bit at the thought of losing their friend." Asaku stood with a stone dead stare at Orion, challenging the manevolent creatures power. "You do best to remember who found your gem for you Asaku....and who holds the power to crush you" Orion grinned as he pointed towards Asaku. "I could crush you now...but I would rather break your spirits." With that, Orion snapped his fingers.

Shinoshu appeared holding what appeared to be one of the angels. "Saio!?" Asaku cringed as he saw the angel in full flight. "He's under shinoshu's control...a very crude way to do it....and heres the deal. If you betray me Saio will die in battle against the other angels...I want you to go recover his gem...yes even though he's a half demon he has a gem on this world as well...its located in the husband of the one who holds Kitty's gem....Find kitty...follow her and prevent her from gaining her gem. And retrieve Saio's gem." Orion grinned, he knew the way Asaku felt about Kitty, and he knew he still loved her, but how much did he value his own life, and the life of the one called Saio.

Seeing the look of doubt in Asaku's eye Orion decided to try and break him. Asaku grimmiced as the full force of the blast threw him to the floor. "[B]Don't think of betraying me Asaku...for if you try...I'll kill you[/B] " Orion laughed as Asaku rose from the floor. "[I]Not ready yet.....[/I] " Asaku thought to himself as he stared into Orions firey eyes..."Yes sir" Was all he said as he began his flight to where Orion had told him Kitty was heading.

[Gelgoog Pilot]

A swift kick in the jaw sent Saio flying back into the living room wall. Yojimbo stood there, panting, and bleeding from a cut along his shoulder. Saio simply got back up, hurt but setermined in his dreadful task.

"This is just great.....first one now the other..." He dodged a strike from the puppet Saio and whipped around with a back hand to his neck. [I]Hmmm He may have endurence up the wahzoo....but his skill and speed and strength is so reduced.[/I]

He had spoken a bit too soon a powerful punch landed right on his wounded shoulder. The merciless Saio had obviously ment to hit him there, laughing a cruel and evil laugh. Yojimbo stepped back letting Sakura have a turn at wearing him out. [I]That damn Jem....where could it be?[/I]

[Inuyasha Fandom]

Saio smiles mercilesly, a goon. His dark powers surge. Saio's powers were drasticly redused, but still more than enough to kill them. Kitty runs by, and Saio turnshis attention away from his oponent. "Kill..... Kitty.........

Sakura runs at Saio, putting her arms around him."Stop this!!!! Please!!!" Her eyes are filled with ears. SAio pushes her away, his black scythe appearing......


He raises his scythe to take her head........

A shot rings out.


"Stop!!!" Takahiro calls, and Saio turns. "Kill....." Saio says, And whirls at Takahiro, Saio's demonic scythe sliceing Takahiro's hair, haveing just missed him. Saio's scythe gets stuck in the wall, So he abandons it.


"Die." Saio's nails become murderous claws, long sharp and black as coal. Saio laughs. "you're an idiot, Angel......."

Saio is suddenly too fast, digging his claws through Takahiro.

Takahiro has a smile on his face."No..." he coughs, blood oozeing from his mouth.

"What's so funny?" Saio demands,Looking into Takahiro's eyes.

"This!" Takahiro slams his leg into Saio's balls, hurting him plenty. Saio keels over, gasping in pain.


A fight ensues, each useing amazing acrobatics. But, it is Saio who makes the first mistake. He slips on some popcorn, landing hard on his backside.

Takahiro pulls his gun from nowhere, aiming it at Saio's head. Saio knows he can't escape, and so only has a look of anger and disgust.

A single tear falls from Takahiro's eye. He aims right betwwen Saio's eyes. "Forgive me....."

Saio lashes out, but it is too late. A loud BANG is heard, ans Saio freezes. His eyes are wide. Saio's colar has a hole in it, blood oozes from it. Saio falls to his knees....

Saio's colar begins to crisp. and turns to ash. Saio falls on his face......




o.o.c. Saio's not dead!!!!!!!

[Kitty]

[COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1][i]How the hell am I supposed to get a gem from someone aside from killing them?[/i] Kitty wondered, still flying towards where she thought she might find her gem. She argued with herself whether or not it was worth it to kill someone to get the one thing that could help her beat Orion and his demons. [i]And what if I choose wrong? What if I kill the wrong person and have to kill more and more to get the damn gem?![/i]

She stopped her flying and floated in place, desperately trying to decide. "I'll have to risk it," she said, suddenly speeding off in another direction.

She flew for almost an hour, finally stopping after sensing a strong pulse coming from a small home. "Is it.. my gem?" she wondered. She knocked on the door, hiding her wings. An old woman answered the door, holding a tray of cookie dough. "Uh.. Hi.." "Hello, dear! May I help you?"

The old woman's kind attitude made it hard for Kitty. "Ma'am? I was wondering.. Do you have a gem, perhaps?" The old woman seemed startled by the question, not knowing what Kitty was talking about. "No dear.. I'm sorry. But I'm about to make cookies! If you waited for a few minutes, you could have some!" "Oh no, I couldn't impose on you like that..." Kitty said, beginning to walk away.

"Don't be silly! I won't take "no" for an answer!" the old woman chuckled. As she pulled Kitty into the kitchen, the pulsing was getting stronger. [i]I'll need to stab her heart. Quick and clean.. If she has it, it'll be in her heart,[/i] Kitty thought, summoning her sword. As the woman finished putting the cookies in the oven, she turned just as Kitty sent her sword in her heart.

The woman went stiff, but there was still color in her skin. "She's not dead?" Kitty said, startled. As she pulled her sword out, a small glimmering blue gem fell out as well. The woman fell to the floor, but she was alive. Kitty hadn't taken her life, but merely "paused" her life, apparently. Her sword disappeared as she bent down and picked up her gem. A burst of light flashed through the house for a second, then disappated, leaving Kitty standing behind the woman who was getting herself some milk.

"Would you like some dear?" "Uh.. Umm.. No ma'am. I must apologize. I have to leave now," she said. "Hm.. What a shame.. You'll miss the cookies," the old woman chuckled. "Yeah, I'll bet they're delicious. Well, good-bye."

With that, Kitty rushed out the door and into the air, holding her gem close. As she laughed that it was so easy, she flipped on her back and flew without looking where she was going. She bumped into something as she continued flying. She flipped quickly, hoping it was a bird or something. But it was in fact Asaku. He stared at her for a moment, then looked at the gem in her hand.

"You have it!" he said suddenly. "Yeah, and I'm going to use it!" she yelled, slamming him in the chest with a sudden beam of blue energy. He went flying backwards, closely followed by Kitty. Her sadness at him for leaving was now overcome by her anger at him for exactly that. "You bastard! How could you?!" she shouted, once again hitting him with a stream of blue energy.

He slammed into the ground, panting and holding his arm. "Kitty..." "What?! What do YOU want?!" she shouted, streams of tears falling from her eyes. "I.. I.." he stuttered. After a pause, he said, "I need your gem." "That's it? That's IT?!" She was waiting for something else. Something the old Asaku would say. She now ran at him, not even caring about the damn gem. All she wanted to do was to hit him as hard as she could over and over again.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Drizzt Do'urden]

"Wait Kitty!" Asaku cried as she blindly rushed towards him "[I]Damn she won't stop[/I] " Was all he could think. He had one thing on Kitty though, Orion had shown him how to use his gem, Kitty was still unwise to the powers it kept....Asaku's gem began glowing wildly in his chest. "Huh!?" Kitty murmmered as she saw Asaku disappear. "Kitty listen to me," Asaku had reappeared behind her, green energy already surged prepared to strike. "I don't wish to hurt you...its like I said earlier Kitty...believe." He urged at her. "This is just a trick Asaku...I know it"

"Do you really believe that Kitty?..Well I guess it can't be helped then" Asaku prepared to level Kitty with a mighty blast....

Suddenly Kitty plummeted from the sky. "Wha!?" Asaku cried as he raced to catch her fall.....Catching her just a few feet above the ground, Asaku looked to the Sky to see Shinoshu grinning menacingly. "Get her gem and dispose of her Asaku, I'm going back to Lord Orion and tell him of our success." With that Shinoshu dissapeared into the black sky. "The sky's growing blacker...even during the day" Asaku said to noone in particular. He took Kittys gem from her hand...the power surge was amazing."[I]Boy she really hates me....but I guess it can't be helped.[/I] " He grinned at her...so beautiful...so perfect..A green energy swelled around the two as Asaku teleported them to 'The Sanctuary'

All of the remaining angels were gathered around Saio trying to figure a way to remove the collar as Asaku and Kitty appeared. The green energy orb still glowed wildly around them. Bang Came the sound as Takahiro immediateally realized Asaku was present. But the bullet merely bounced from the green globe. "Shinoshu did this...she's pretty bad but I think she'll pull through" Was all Asaku said as he teleported from the room again. Leaving a room of dumbfounded angels...."Oh and by the way" He called from the mindlink. "One more gem down"

[Kitty]

[COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1]Kitty was dreaming now, laying on the floor. She was still talking with Asaku, back where she had first run into him. She couldn't move, but neither could he. He floated in front of her, not looking her in the eye.

"Why?" "Why what?" "Why won't you believe?" Asaku asked her. "Believe what?" she snapped, glaring at him. "Hello? Do you hear me?! What do you want me to believe?" she continued to ask. But he wouldn't say anything. Soon he began disappearing; fading away bit by bit. First the tips of his fingers and toes, then his forearm and calves. On and on this went as Kitty struggled to break from whatever kept her in place.

"Asaku! Tell me! Please! I want to.. I [b]will[/b] believe you!" she shouted at his head, which was all that was left. Just before he evaporated completely, he looked to her and winked. Then poof. And he was gone. Kitty continued struggling, shouting his name, wanting him to answer her.

But as she was shouting, she fell silent as she heard her name being called. "Kitty... Kitty!" It was Aida's voice. At this realization, she woke up with a start. She sat up quickly saying, "I'll believe you!" This startled the other angels who all had somber looks on their faces.

She turned a little red of embarrasment, looking at Aida. "What happened...?" "Asaku brought you here. He-... He took your gem." "Damn it! I shouldn't have.. I can't believe... This is all my fault!" Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she wrapped her arms around Aida suddenly, who was blushing a bit.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Been banned of the comp. I'm back though.

Sakura looked at Kitty sadly. She knelt down beside her.
" I'm so sorry Kitty. I didn't know you went to get your gem. I should have went with you." Tears welled up in her eyes. " Now Asaku has it. But why did he turn? Why? What have we done to make him turn?"
She stood up, looking at Kitty who looked at her amazed. Sakura left the group to comfort her.

[I] Why? Why did you turn on us Asaku? You were like a brother to us? Why? [/I]

Walking up the stairs, all she could see in her mind was Asaku's smiling face when they mucked around. Sakura shivered as a depressed feeling washed over her. She sat down on the top step with her head in her hands. Tears dropped onto the carpet. It wasn't fair! They were a team! Now they had be split apart.

[I] But why did he bring Kitty back? Does he love her? Is that the thing thats holding him back from becoming truly evil? Kitty?[/I]

Sakura watched Yojimbo climb up the stairs and sit beside her.
" You ok?" he asked.
" No," Sakura snivelled, " I never knew it would be this hard."
" You didn't think it would be easy..."
" I thought it would be easier than this." Yojimbo hugged Sakura.
" It's ok Sakura. Don't blame yourself for Asaku's turning, it wasn't your fault."
" But it is...If I wasn't such a bad leader then none of this would have happened and I would have helped Kitty and Asaku."
Suddenly she stood up with a strange expression on her face.
" Sakura?" Yojimbo asked, standing up beside her.
" Wait. The gems...Asaku...he hasn't found out the true power of the gem. Kitty came close but she didn't do it..."
" What? You're not making sense."
" Lillyana is telling me. To beat Orion, someone needs to harness the real power of the gem. She won't tell me anymore."
" The real power of the gem? I'd hate to know what would happen if Asaku found out how to harness the real power of the gem first."
Sakura looked at Yojimbo and then at Takahiro who was at the bottom of the staircase, looking up at them.
" Takahiro...There is still hope. You need to find your gem. So does Aida and you Yojimbo. We need to harness the real abilities of the gem."
Takahiro smiled. " That's the Sakura I know. But what about your gem?"
Sakura looked at the floor, fidgetting. " I don't know. I'm scared of what it could do but you guys need to do it, find your gems. Get Kitty patched up. We're going gem hunting!"

OOC: Ok guys. About the real power of the gem. You'll find that out soon enough. Until I notify you through PM and tell you what the real power is, your gem can give you any abilities that aren't god powerful. Such as increased speed and power. Stuff like that. Thanks guys![/COLOR]

[I]Hmmm MY gem....maybe she's right...I haven't put much stock in working to find mine. I think that it is about time I do find it. I'll ask Kitty how she found hers....[/I]

Yojimbo hugged Sakura once again then go up off of the stairs. He trudged to Kitty's room, knocking several times. She didn't answer. Knowing that she was ignoring the door like usual he walked in. Kitty got up off the bed and slapped him.

"See!? I told you I don't want people just barging in here...You are the ONLY one Yoji who still does it!" He could see her semi-playfulness. Underneath though her eyes still held the saddening pain.

"I'm sorry, I just really need to talk with you. I want to know how you found your gem."

"How I found it?"

"Yes, I've finally decided to take effort and look for mine."

"I don't know how I found it really, I just sort of FELT it. Felt something anyway in my heart and followed that feeling. I guess that's the way it works."

"Oh...I see, thanks Kitty, and I promise I won't do this again.....and this time I'll MEAN it! HAHAHAHAHA!" Another slap sounded and the pair laughed harder.

Still laughing Yojimbo left the dorm, he stood just outside and sread his arms wide. He stood there, feeling trying to sense something, anything. He felt nothing.

"Maybe I have to get some what close before I feel it...I'll just take a little flight around town."

Leaping into the air his wings appeared. He flew for almost an hour, just begining to grow wery of looking. His little 'stroll' ahd taken him over top of the worst part of town. Most of the crimes happened here. It was also the hub for all of the homeless it seemed. Then it hit him...a proverbial 'tug' on his heart string. He landed and began following it on foot. Turning a corner he spotted a large group of homeless people, huddled around a fire. Then he found it, he felt it coming from an old man. He seemed very sick, coughing and wheezing a bit seperate from the rest.

"Hey old man...you should get closer to that fire...it'll be better for your health."

"I'll tell ya what would be better sonny, a damn house...or at least a son who gave a damn about me."

" Oh...refuses to help you out hmmm? Maybe he wants to but just can't." [I]How do I get the gem UGH! why didn't I ask Kitty....[/I]

"Yeah right....the bastard is loaded and he acts like I don't exist...Oh...I guess its my fault though, I just never treated him nicely."

"Go and tell him then...ask him to forgive you"

"There is something about you...I see...I see wings?"
[I]What! He can't see them!? Only those that are close to-[/I]

"So you've come to get me finally huh? I've been waiting for you ever since I got sick...Don't worry Im not afraid of it...I'm welcoming my rest...Thank you...I-"

He slipped then....dead. A smile on his face, the most peaceful smile he'd ever seen. Yojimbo felt confused...[I]how am I to get it now? Cut open the body?[/I]
A soft glow then surrounded the body...and out from the chest emerged the black gem. Yojimbo picked it up and imediatly felt it's power.

"Time to go back I guess....goodbye pops."

[B]OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was busy.

IC:[/B][COLOR=Orange][SIZE=1] Aida sat on the couch, deep in thought. [I]Asaku so much stronger...but he won't destroy us. Definitely not Kitty. Not that I'd give him the chance.[/I] He slammed his fist on the table, [I]Damn!! I can't do anything against Asaku unless I have my gem, and I'm definitely not gonna' find it sitting down...[/I] He rose up and looked towards Kitty's room. "I'd better ask her to come with me....It'll be easier that way." Sorrow suddenly filled his eyes, Besides. She needs someone to be with her right now. I want to be there for her. He walked in front of her door and knocked.

Kitty opened her door and smiled at him,"Hey, Aida. What's up?" Aida grinned broadly, trying to lighten the mood,"I was going to go in search of my gem. I think we're all going to need ours if we're going to def---" He trailed off. He tried to open his mouth and continue talking, but he wasn't making any sounds. Kitty broke the silence,"So, you want me to come along?" Aida nodded. Kitty smiled, "Sure. Let's go." Kitty walked past Aida and his smile slowly faded. [I]I hope Asaku doesn't show up....[/I]

Aida and Kitty flew around town for a while, Aida trying to sense his gem. After searching for Aida's gem for a couple hours they stopped for pizza. As their order arrived, Aida looked around at all of the [I]normal[/I] people relax and sighed. Kitty eyed him quizzicaly. He laughed sadly, "Look at them. Happy, completely oblivous towards what goes on. They don't have to deal with our hardships....they're completely carefree..." Kitty put her hand on Aida's, "But if it wasn't for us, who knows how many people here might be dead. And it's not like we're facing these hardships alone.....all of the angels are there for each other. We're never alone." Aida smiled, "Yah. You're right." Suddenly a strange feeling overcame him. He realised what it was. [I]My gem...[/I] He looked over and saw that there was a grinning man with an aura similiar to his own. He turned to Kitty,"How did you get your's out?" She chuckled,"I had to stab the person. Bu they lived." Aida sighed and drew his blade as he walked over to the man. But to his dimay the man was walking out of the restaraunt. He reached out and yelled frantically,"No!! Wait!!" The next moment the gem came hurtling out of the man and into Aida's hand. The man collapsed, then a few seconds later grabbed his head, confused. Aida walked over to Kitty and grinned,"Got it." He heard a laugh from behind,"Thank's for finding it for me." Aida spun around and growled,"Asaku...."[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Drizzt Do'urden]

IC: "Two more are on the way too find their gems Asaku...I want you and Shinoshu to find them" Orions voice echoed through Asaku's head. "Why do you continue to send Shinoshu with me? With the power of my gem, as well as Kitty's they can't hold a candle to my power" Asaku pleaded. "Insurance young angel, I haven't survived these millenia on trust." "But Shinoshu isn't even strong enough to battle one angel once their gems are found and harnessed" Asaku urged again. "[B]He's going with you and its final brat![/B] " Orion commanded, the small realease of power launched Asaku into a wall. "Yes sir" he grimmaced as he rose. Asaku flew off, Shinoshu close at his heels.....

"What do you want Asaku?!" Aida's voice barked, "I don't want to hurt you, but between me and Kitty you don't stand a chance." "HAHAHA" Asaku laughed evily, "Do you think I'm worried about you even in the least? Lord Orion has helped me to harnass both of the gems." He finished, his evil smile growing. "Both gems!?" Both Aida and Kitty cried at once. "Yes now if you please, just give me your's Aida" "[B]Never![/B] " Aida cried as he sprung on Asaku....his speed was impressive. Weapons now drawn the two clashed. Metal on metal rang as the two began to rise into the air, the sheer power caused nearby trees to fall. And sent Kitty flying. "Kitty!?" Aida cried as he launched himself onto Asaku. "Don't you realize, fool" Asaku started, "If we keep fighting here we're going to kill somebody, even Kitty can't stand up to our new power."

"Damn you guys, I'm not even fighting and ya hafta knock my ass down" Kitty yelled at the two floating combatants. The three began laughing..."[I]Oh know wheres.....[/I] " Asaku suddenly tensed up as he realized both were looking at him with confused glances. "I knew you weren't.....AHHHH" Kitty cried as she collapsed. "Huh!?" Asaku and Aida began flying together towards kitty to see what happened....

Suddenly three zombie K-9's burst from the trees right alongside Shinoshu. "You beast" Aida cried as he let forth a burst of black energy. "Die" Asaku cried as he loosed the power of the 2gems. All three energies combined into an amazing white light. Vaporizing the hounds right alongside their evil master. "We stopped umm" Aida said surprised. "Yes it would seem his time on this plane is up" Asaku grinned. "Asaku...does this mean you're on our side." Aida asked hopefully. Asaku looked towards his one time comrade...."I'm sorry" was all he said as he disapeared. "Oh no Kitty" Aida exclaimed as he headed towards Kitty's broken form.....SMACK came the sound as Asaku reappeared and smacked Aida on the back of the neck, sending him into an instant sleep. Clang...Clang. The gem sounded as it landed on the ground at Asaku's feet. "I'm sorry old friend...and again Kitty I apologize." He lifted the femal angel up to examine her wounds.

"Asaku?" She whispered as she began to regain consciousness. "I'm here" He said as he teleported away "I'm always here"

Back in Orions home......

"What happened to Shinoshu?" Orion demanded as Asaku entered his chambers. "That Angel Aida, slaughtered him with the power of his gem...it was truly amazing" Asaku replied. "But not to worry master, just as Kitty's his gem has been destroyed. I am now preparing to find Yojimbo, I believe he had found his gem already" As Asaku began to take off Orion beckoned. "Before you go, I want you to meet an old friend of mine" Orion said with a laugh....as he snapped his fingers a great beast appeared the lower half of a scorpion, the upper half a great Angel. Pinchers were where his hands should be. "This is my son, Kamokio he'll be with you on your next mission." Asaku grimmaced at the sight..."[I]He's even stronger than Shinoshu...but not much. But he's Orion's son....this can't be good[/I] " he thought as the two left to find Yojimbo and his gem.

OOC: Sorry I've been gone...but I'm here for the moment.

IC: Takahiro had not left his spot on the stairs. He felt bad for having to shoot his brother in the neck like that. He held his stomach which was still bleeding from Saio's attack. He wiped off the blood still on his chin. He coughed up more blood just as he did that. [I]Crap...I don't have the strength to heal myself from this without my gem...If I find it then maybe I can keep us alive. Maybe it will enhance my healing abilities...I wish...I guess I'll have to find out for myself.[/I] He wiped his mouth with his sleeve. He stood up as well as he could and headed for his room. He ran into Sakura along the way. "Hey um...Sakura..."

"What is it Takahiro?" Sakura asked. "Oh I forgot you injured yourself as well...I'm sorry...I'll get some bandages right away..." She said before turning toward her room. She was stopped feeling a hand holding hers.

"No...I'll be fine...I'm going to go look for my gem but I need you to help me take care of Saio. He's freed now and has a hole in his neck, but...he's still alive." Takahiro smiled at her slightly and let her hand go as he pulled it back to cover the blood he was coughing up. He looked at the blood in his hand and went into a trance. He stood there motionless staring at his hand. He started as he felt a hand on his shoulder. He could see Sakura looking over to him at his side.

"You sure you're okay? You coughed up quite a bit of blood and you're still losing blood through your wound..." Sakura said.

"I'm fine just need to rest..." Takahiro said before falling to the ground from blood loss.

[Redemption]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]Sakura didn’t like what Takahiro had said.
“ No. I don’t want you to go off by yourself. It’s too risky.”
“ But I need to find my gem…” he said before coughing again. Sakura held him as he coughed.
“ You need to rest. Yoji has his gem, I can sense it. Aida is looking for his still. You lay down in bed now. I’m going to do up your wounds,” Sakura said kind of harshly. Takahiro knew not to argue with her in this state. He knew she was beating herself up for Saio’s injuries and his. She helped him to his room, took of his shirt and looked over him. She wrapped a bandage around his stomach, covering the wound Saio dealt him. With that, she practically forced him in bed and made him drink some very gross tasting tea. Takahiro coughed, spluttered and made strange expressions on his face.
“ This stuff is disgusting.”
“ Don’t argue. It’s a herb from Paradise so it can do nothing but good for you,” Sakura snapped in reply. Takahiro stared at her. He had never seen her so wound up before.
“ Now stay there. I need you to be well for our next fight.” She walked out without another word and put an extremely strong protection spell around Takahiro’s room.

Sakura walked to Saio who was laying on the floor, bleeding. She knelt down to him, now with her wings spread from her shoulders, and picked him up with great difficulty. Walking up the stairs and to his bedroom, she thought about their task ahead.
[I] It’s so hard. I can’t stand seeing my friends getting hurt and turned to the side of evil.[/I] She shook herself mentally. [I] I really need to find my gem and fast.[/I] When Sakura got to Saio’s room, she kicked the door open and lay Saio on his bed. She looked at his neck wound, feeling a little sick at the sight. Slowly, she wrapped it with healing-oil soaked bandage and left him. Again, she put another strong protection spell around his room so that they would be safe.

When she got do to the door, Yojimbo was at the other side of it. She opened it and ran straight into him.
“ Sakura…”
“ Yojimbo, come with me. I need to find my gem,” she said, grabbing his arm and taking flight. They scanned over the city many times. Soon, Sakura was frustrated with herself for not finding her gem. Yojimbo was trying to sooth his old friend when she completely and utterly snapped at him.
“ SHUT UP YOJI! YOU DON’T NEED TO BE SUCH A SNOB!! JUST BECAUSE YOU FOUND YOURS AND YOU CAN PROTECT THE OTHERS DOESN’T MEAN YOU HAVE TO RUB SALT INTO MY WOUNDS!”
With that, Sakura teleported herself to a dark alley where she slump against a wall. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she couldn’t control her emotions anymore.
“ I just wanted to help…” she sobbed.
A business man walking past heard her sobs and entered the alley. What he saw was not an everyday something. An angel with wings brilliant white, crying in a dark alley. She looked so sad he couldn’t bear to leave her, even though he was a little scared of her.
“ Hello….are you ok?” he asked kindly. Sakura jumped up and flattened herself at the dead end. A shaft of light lit her orchid hair softly, truly emphasising what she was.
“ Go away…you shouldn’t see me,” Sakura warned.
“ I just want to help…” he replied. Those words echoed through her head and she collapsed to the ground again, sobbing hysterically. The businessman walked to her side, trying not to get in the road of her wing. Suddenly Sakura looked up as her heart was tugged towards the business man.
“ You’re …..” she started.
“ I’m James. I come from out of town. Apparently, you do too,” James replied, looking at her wings. Sakura smiled and stood up. She summoned her sword into her hands. For that instant, time stopped. Sakura slowly ran her sword into James’s heart and out again. On the sword was a brilliant blue and red gem.
“ Thank-you….” she whispered as she took off again, clutching the gem close to her. Time started again and James was back out on the street, wondering what the hell just happened.

Asaku and Kamokio arrived just as Sakura left. "Yojimbo...long time no see" Asaku cried happily. In truth he was excited about seeing one of his old friends happy, and by the looks of it, quite powerful. Yojimbo on the other hand, was not so happy to see him. As soon as the two landed Yojimbo brought his blade out. "Let us get this over with Asaku....I don't know how you bested the others but you can't touch me" he cried as he lept towards Asaku....Clang their blades rang out into the dark of the night. Even the city below seemed to halt its busy nightlife at the sound of the battle. "Yojimbo listen to me, your gem is all I need and it will be done" Asaku pleaded. "Why do you hold back Asaku...my gem is yours if you can take it from me" Yojimbo grunted. "Why do you hold back dark angel?" Kamokio's voice rang.

"[I]No matter how I slice it....he's right. Yoji's unlocked to much of his gems power already for me to take him lightly[/I]" Asaku thought to himself and grinned. Asaku realeased some of his power, breaking the two apart.....summoning the power of his now three gems Asaku's power grew quickly. And with a quick burst of energy he launched Yojimbo onto one of the rooftops, knocking him sensless with a combination of the three gems. Clang...Clang, the sound echoed a million times over as Asaku bent to pick up the gem.

"ARGH" He cried as a brilliant blue and red light erupted around him, sending him flying. "Sakura...you found your gem." He didn't even have to look to see, he had felt her get the gem. But for some reason he held himself back from going after her, and he realized now why. "[I]How has she managed to unlock all that power already? She couldn't have had her gem that long...even the power of these gems is no match for her[/I] " Asaku thought...plotting a way to relieve her of her gem.

Suddenly Kamokio appeared behind Sakura grabbing the angel...somehow his power overwhelmed even her. "HAHAHA, I'm not a fool Sakura" Asaku laughed evily. "I wouldn't try to take on all of you at once without a little insurance" He laughed again as he headed towards her. Getting right up in her ear he whispered into it softly...so soft even Kamokio couldn't hear. "Takahiro's gem is going to be a challenge...it lies somewhere in the city...but I fear Orion has many minions around it, you are the only angel capable of getting him to his gem...but not to worry, in just a few short hours you will not have a need for the rest of the gems." Asaku finished by leaping back onto Yojimbo's gem. "I need some help with this Yoji" Asaku cried as he placed Yojimbo's gem into the crest in his pendant. "Die Sakura!" He cried as he loosed an energy blast intertwined with Aida, Kitty, Yojimbo, and Asaku's powers all combined. Kamokio's eyes widened as it neared the two. "Are you crazy?! You're going to kill me too" The demon left Sakura and lept into the air. "I was counting on your cowardice Kamokio" Asaku grinned.

Kamokio's eyes widened in horror as he realized the energy wave curved past Sakura and bolted straight for the creature. "ARGH" He cried as his body disintegrated. No sooner did Sakura land on the ground then she cried for Asaku. "What are you planning Asaku? Let us help" She cried after him....but Asaku smiled and waved as he teleported to Orions den.

Orions Palace....
"Why is Kamokio not with you!?" Orion demanded. "He won't be joining us master...." Asaku grinned, "He fell like so many others, to Love and Power" No sooner had Asaku said that, he was ready blade of Love and Power drawn prepared to do battle. "[B]I thought only my love for Kitty fueled my power....but I have realized that all I needed was the love of my comrades and the unity of their gems to defeat you Orion[/B] " Asaku cried as he launched an assault on Orion. Asaku thrusted...Slashed...and Lashed at Orion. None of his attacks even came close. Orion lashed out with a mighty punch sending Asaku flying into a wall. "Kitty...Aida...Yojimbo...with you powers I will be victorious" Asaku cried as he rose. He began another assault pure rage filled the blow as it connected with Orions exposed neck.

Asaku sank to his knees...as his blade hit the ground in two pieces. "No" Asaku whimpered as he stared at his blade. "It should've worked...it should've worked" Unaware that Orion was even in the same room...Asaku began sobbing at the thought of his friends. Orion began charging up an energy attack...ready to crush the young warrior. As the blast connected..Asaku summoned up his last bit of strength to send his crest with all the gems in his possesion including his own back to the sanctuary. "Get umm guys...ARGH" Asaku gasped as he was flung to the wall again....his battered and broken body, lay slumped in the corner of Orions chambers....

Back at the Sanctuary...
Saio finally stood on his own and began downstairs to get some oreo's. "What's this?" he wondered as he noticed something he hadn't noticed before. A crest with three shinging gems...and one green one struck his eye....as the glow faded leaving nothing but a turqoise rock.

Kitty and Aida had flown home, cursing their inability to keep their gems. Aida escorted Kitty to her room before going to his own. The two didn't say anything to each other. When on her bed, Kitty pulled out a drawer in her night stand. In it was a picture of all the angels. She looked at it once, then ripped it up into pieces. "Damn you Orion," she muttered, a tear falling from her cheek onto the ripped piece that showed half of her face and Asaku's face.

She grabbed the pieces and shoved them back into the drawer, slamming it closed and forcing her head under her pillow. She fell asleep a few minutes later, Kouken softly mewing next to her.

Kitty had several dreams instead of one. They were all stupid and pointless, but she remembered them after waking up. Her last dream was the one she thought about most as she sat on her bed, staring at her wall for hours. Finally, she let out a sigh and walked down to the kitchen. She grabbed an apple and flew to the Sanctuary to think some more.

When she arrived she noticed Saio. She tensed, remembering what had happened when he'd last encountered the others. But Kitty soon saw that his collar had been removed, so she relaxed and walked up to him. "Saio?" she asked softly. "I found this," he said, holding up a crest. It held three gems; hers, Aida's and Yojimbo's. And it held a rock.

"My gem!" Kitty said in relief, pulling it out and holding it tightly in her fist. Then she looked over the rock again. "Wait a minute.. If our gems have been returned... That means Asaku gave them back.. But why would he.." she thought. Then a horrible realization shot through her, sending shivers down her spine. She grabbed the rock and flew off without another word.

Once again, she didn't know exactly where it was she was going. She just followed the tugging of her heart. It kept pointing her in one direction. It kept pointing to the darkest cloud in the sky. [i]Asaku! You idiot![/i] she shouted through the mind link. She didn't know if he heard her, but she hoped. "Please.. Dammit, please!"[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Gelgoog Pilot]

Sakura and Yojimbo both arrived at the dorms together. Yojimbo was trying to comfort Sakura over her lost gem as they walked in the door. Once inside Siao almost immediatly shoved the gem laiden crest into their hands.

"I found this! It has all of our gems..Asuka sent them here I think, and Kitty just ran off."

"Thanks! With these we can end this soon."

Yojimbo picked his up, gave it a look and then tossed it. The others looked on in shock as to what he had done.

"Yoji! that's your gem you need it to recieve more power! You can't be a stubborn idiot and throw it away like that."

Yojimbo shrugged slighty "It's a fate.."

"You mean to say Asuka sent us fake gems!? They definetly feel real Yoji." She said rapidly.

"No I mean mine was a fake, he took the fake one from me. Do you think after hearing Kitty's tale I'd make it so easy for him to get it. I hid it better than that." He said grinning brillently.

"What? Where did you hide it then?" Saio asked innocently and quite confused.

"I ate it...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I ate it! I knew that way he'd have trouble getting it for a while eh?"

"You're such an idiot Yoji...one genius idiot. Now lets go find Kitty she can't be out there on her own."

"Right, Saio, stay here and watch your brother. We'll be back with Kitty in a few minutes hopefully." With that said the two took off into the distance, sensing the direction that Kitty was traveling in.
