RPG Wings Of An Angel [PG-V]

"Come and get it foolish Angel..." Orion laughed as Asaku approached him.

Takahiro had already assumed his form of the Council Angel of Friendship and Light. His demonic wing was still visible and he was still holding his and his brother's pistols. "Asaku I got you covered!" Takahiro fired both pistols simultaneously at Orion's shoulder to loosen the blade.

"Thanks Takahiro!" Asaku shouted flying for his blade. He had just reached Orion's shoulder when Orion took a swing at him. "Oh crap..." Asaku unleashed energy from his palm into Orion's hand and Takahiro followed it up with a Banishing Blast from his X-Calibur. Orion's hand was forced away from Asaku and he forcefully removed his sword in hopes of damaging Orion. He was barely succesful since Orion had a hard time regenerating his wound.

As Asaku made his return to the group Takahiro helped Kitty and Yojimbo to their feet. Saio and Sakura flew over to where they stood. "We have to think of a plan..." Takahiro started, "If we don't then we're done for and our cause will be in vain..." Everyone looked to the ground remembering their latest loss...Aida. "The damage Asaku and I dealt to his shoulder should leave us some time to think while he recovers...So any suggestions?" They all looked to each other and tried to think of a plan for defeating Orion. "I think I have a plan...Sakura, Yojimbo, Asaku, Kitty, Saio...If I don't make it back...take care of my guns..." Takahiro flew up into the air. "Orion...this is for everything you've ever done...." Orion looked towards Takahiro, "This is my pain...my sorrow...and all of my hatred towards you!!! Omniburst!!!" He raised his guns and they both charged with a massive surge of energy, X-Calibur charging with Holy energies and Ragnarok with Dark energy. "DIE ORION!!!!!" He screamed as he fired off both guns and both of his wings glowing brightly. The shots raced toward Orion and blew off the shoulder that he and Asaku had been concentrating on. Takahiro, weakened from his attack, fell to the ground with a thud as Orion held his arm in anguish.

Asaku watched Takahiro land on the ground with a loud thud. [I]If we don't start acting fast, he's going to rejuvinate[/I] he thought to himself.

"Everybody has sacrificed so much, its my turn!" Asaku whispered to himself. Picking up Aida's Gem and Blade Asaku began channeling the energy from both gems into both of the blades. Flying into the Air Asaku looked too his friends, and then to Orion. "This is for everyone Orion, everyone I love!" Asaku cried as he released all the energy he could muster into the blades. "[B]Omnislash![/B] " Asaku cried as he slashed both blades into a cross form. A cross shaped burst of Energy lept from the blades, Seperating one of Orions legs from his body. Asaku collapsed beside Takahiro, though he was too exhausted to remain conscious, he still held a smile on his face, a smile of hope.

[Kitty]

[COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1]"Asaku!" Kitty cried. She began plummeting from her high position towards the unconcious angel. "Kitty, no! This is our chance! He'll be fine," Sakura flew between her and the ground. Kitty bit her lip. She knew Sakura was right, but after all everyone had sacrificed, she had done nothing. And now Asaku was out cold and Aida was gone.

She couldn't help but blame herself.

"This is my fault! But what can I do...?" she muttered suddenly. And with that, she flew off towards Orion, aiming towards his right arm.

"Now what's she doing.." Sakura whispered with a worried tone. But she flew after her to resume the attack on Orion.

Kitty's gem glowed a fierce blue. She placed it on her sword, making her sword grow in length and thickness. But it did not seem to slow her one bit. As she neared Orion, he tried to dodge her, but he was disabled without his leg and could only crawl. "Orion! You bastard!!" she yelled, lifting her sword. "Nice try, angel!" Orion said.

Kitty ignored his bluff and shot her sword straight in his shoulder. The giant screamed in agony. "That's right! Feel that pain? Now you know how I feel!!" Then the enraged angel pulled out her sword and blew a blast of energy straight at the wound. Again he screamed, and again she attack. The barage of energy that followed blew off, not only his shoulder, but left large wounds in his upper torso.

"Ha!" she shouted triumphently. Her gem returned to her hand and her sword resumed its usual shape. Then she stabbed him and blasted him repeatedly, calling for the others to follow her example. And they all did. Each attack worsened the giant's condition.

His screams of agony were nearly drowned out by the sound of blade meeting flesh and shots piercing everything. The end of Orion was now in reach. The force of angels had the advantage, and chance of a comeback was close to none. [i]He's almost finished... We've almost won! You all will be avenged..[/i] Kitty thought, taking a look back at Aida's lonely weapons.

Then she turned back to see Orion laughing. Laughing as if he didn't have a bruise on his body. "You stupid fools! Like you EVER had a chance..." "What are you talking about?" Sakura asked. "Ah.. I'll show you," he laughed.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Redemption]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]Sakura watched as the others used much of their life force to do, what they thought, was some damage to Orion. However, this was not the case. Orion's powerful black wings spread from his back further as he powered up. This was it......finally.....the end. Sakura smiled knowingly to herself.

" Time to end this............" she whispered. She knew what she had to do.....what they - the Council Angels - had to do. Hovering in mid air beside Kitty, she looked at her.
" Kitty, the only way for us to defeat Orion is to........well......sacrifice ourselves. I know its difficult to understand.....but trust me on this. We have to do it.....for everyone and the world." Sakura then flew over to Takahiro. He wa panting from using so much energy before.

" Takahiro........" Sakura started.
" Don't tell me Sakura.....I know already........." he replied, panting. Sakura looked down. She could feel Orion's power grow. Then, she looked at Asaku and Saio. They nodded too. All agreed on what they had to do.

" One last time....." Sakura sighed, holding her gem firmly. The Council Angels lined up, facing Orion who was still powering up. Holding out their gems in front of them, all started channelling their life force into the power of the gems. All of their wings started turning grey. Sakura looked at Takahiro and smiled.

" See you on the other side........my Takahiro........"

With a blinding flash of light, the five angels unleashed their awesome ultimate power onto Orion. The five white beams of power sooon engulfed Orion and consumed him, banishing him to the dark depths of Heaven's dungeons.

White soon consumed the Council Angels' vision.

Sakura awoke to the sound of voices around her. She couldn't make out what they were saying but she knew they were familiar. Opening her eyes, the figures of Takahiro and Lillyana soon came into focus.

" Takahiro?" Sakura whispered. Hearing this, Takahiro bent down to her.
" Sakura, welcome back," he said, smiling at her. Sakura sat up. Then did she realise she was in her bed in Heaven and in her adult form. She looked at Takahiro. He was in his adult form too, and a might fine one at that.
" But what happened? We didn't die?" Sakura asked.
" No my child," Lillyana started, " Angels cannot die, even if it by their own will. We just reform into a new angel and begin the life cycle again. However, that is not true for Council Angels. You six, including Aida, will now live until a new council will be decided. That will be in another millennium. Enjoy what you have while you can my children. Orion is gone forever. There is no threat to Heaven or the Earth anymore."[/COLOR]
