Seeing as how her presence was no longer required, Avlen closed her eyes, stepped back, and allowed the computer to fill her stasis pod. The liquid pooled at her feet and slowly rose up past her legs, to her hips, and then surged over her face...... The nausea and panic that would've normally followed this didn't come.

Instead, Avlen was relaxed. Limp as a dishrag. Nothing could faze her. Instead, she was simply there. Staring into the darkness of her closed eyelids. Black. Cool. Comforting. Warm. So it wasn't space.

Space was cold. Is cold. So very cold. And this, this is not cold. It's so warm and quiet. A little wave of thought breifly mentioned something to her.

"Womb."

Before birth. It was warm wasn't it? It was quiet. Gentle. A heartbeat instead. Lub. Dub. Memory, went away quickly. All of her memories came back. Were they really hers? Sure. Everyone started life the same. Even a little girl that called Avlen Avey.

Avey.

That's funny. She remembered Avey too. ....but then the warmth was too much, and all brain activity slowed down to a continuous stream of.....

Following right behind the captain, Gabriella gripped the stun gun. They were were right around the corner of the sick bay. Allen turned around and she nodded. The two advanced towards the entrance. Gabriella had taken the side perpendicular to Allen and he held up a 3, then 2, and at the 1, the two bursted in the doorway, shooting out bullets at the figure who had rummaged the room.

Spasming as it fell to the ground, Allen and Gabriella rushed in only to find that it was in fact not one of their own crew members. They looked to each other and Allen and Gabriella lifted him, taking him somewhere where it was less crowded and a bit more...secluded.

Placing the figure onto the floor, Gabriella looked to Allen who knew exactly what was going on. She seemed to wonder what he was thinking but did not bother to ask. She began to walk away, but was stopped.

"MacGuire?"

"Yes, Captain?"

"I believe you wish for some answers, correct? I must tell you that it will come in due time. For now, I do not want this to get out to the others, understood?"

Nodding, Gabriella was dismissed and she had left the area in which she had followed Allen into. Knowing what he had said, she straightened up and walked towards her post once more, into the security room. With a sigh, she looked to the monitors and saw that the computer had recorded various acts. Pulling them to another monitor, Gabriella noticed nothing out of the ordinary. She stood and stretched. It was time to put the weaponry onto Default Automatic System 0032 Alpha, also known as D.A.S. 32 A.

Breathing in deeply, Gabriella pulled another screen up onto another monitor and began to modify the weaponry. It was her duty to make sure that everything was in place and that the weapons inventory hadn't been tampered with and that the firewalls, secondary firewalls, defense codes, and the like were all prepared.

"Ok. Default Automatic System 0032 Alpha seems to be in order. Let's go and set up...Latter Defense Mechanism 202. Gosh, why do I always make so many long names for these small things? I never know why."

Gabriella mumbled to herself and began to become entranced in her own work. She was familiar with the technology that was given to her in that room and she was also quite familiar with the mechanics shown as well. It wasn't long until she had finished.

"....and.........there. That'd ought to do it. Let's test run it with my computer."

Gabriella pulled out a small stopwatch and began to press buttons on it. It had began to the test on Gabriella's computer, notifying her of everything that was going on. When the test was finished, Gabriella was convinced with herself that the programs that was given to the defense/ weaponry/ security was fail-safe...if that made any sense at all. Alas, Gabriella usually makes quite nonsense when engaged in her work.

After almost being bowled over by Allen, Jako had abandoned any desire for exploration and returned to his room. Taking out a small capsule, Jako wrapped a headband around his head, and plugged himself in. He rapidly 'typed' up everything that had occured so far. He was finishing just as the call for the stasis pods came over the system. Depressing the transmit button on the top of the Micro-computer, Jako slid the capsule into a small pocket in his jacket, and headed for the Stasis-Room. This'd be his first time in suspended animation...and it was a rather worrying concept.

OOC: Busy me. I have been reading, but not posting. Will do more later.

Allen- "Now Gabriella." He switched off the com box and walked over to his own pod, ready to jump in. Almost everyone was now in suspended animation, except himself, Gabriella and Jako, who was just coming into the room. Dispite the four of their empty pods, there were seven other empty ones. Allen had one quick moment to question them when seven NG SEALS walked into the room, striped off their gear, stowed it away and walked into their pods. It took them under a minute. Their commander, Corbin, walked up to Allen in his pod-wear.

Corbin- "Allen Chubb?" He nodded. "NG Corbin reporting for duty. If you don't mind, I'll just join my men."

Allen- "By all means." He smiled at the man and motioned toward an empty pod. He went in and was almost instantly submerged in gel. Gabriella walked in and began changing. Jako stepped into a pod and gave Allen a peace sign as it filled up with the green liquid. "MacGuire..." She looked up at him and nodded. Both of them, dressed in the skintight wear of the pods, went out into the hallway and walked a little ways down it.

Computer- "Ten minutes until liftoff." The two of them made their way to a small closet and dragged the limp and unidentified man back into the secondary pod room. USAF had built an extra for any survivors they might find. Allen propped him up inside of one and filled it with gel. He programmed the tank to open one hour after theirs were set to. With a nod, they both returned to the main pod room and stepped into their own. allen had time to think of the stuff filling the pod as jello before his mind shut down and he was place in stasis.

Deimos Colonist 1- "My God! What is that!?"

Colonist 2- "I don't know... But I don't think it's safe! Run!" They ran down the corridor, something scampering in close pursuit behind them. "To the tunnel! The connection tunnel!" The first made it through the hatch and watched as the other was dragged back by the head. A loud scream was heard and finally a lifeending crunch. He slammed the door and layed down on the floor whimpering.

She hated this part of the mission. Trusting her life completely to the whims of a machine. Not that technology had its uses. But to step into a pod. Let it surround youyr body in a slime like material and then just lay there. She reallt didn't like. But she had no choice.

After Allen and Gabriella had left she quickly finished undressing and looked on Van once more. The process didn't take long and soon Avlen had prepped and stepped in. She followed suit nodding to Avlen before Avlen's face was covered.

Trini got in and laid back. Happy that she was going to rest, but then again nervous of what might pop up in her sleep. But she had to chance it. The stasis pod closed and she was covered quickly, but she ignored the warm fluid covering her and soon found herself thinking back on old family memories. Her mom, dad, sisters and brothers. She wondered how they'd take the news she left on yet another mission.

Hopefully they got the news. She mailed the letter late for a reason. She didn't want them to stop her. She couldn't let them control her. No matter how much she knew they worried. Before anything else could interrupt her mind she fell into a deep sleep.

Allen stumbled from his pod and carefully sat down on one of the steel benches near the lockers. He rested his elbows on his knees and hunched forward. The jello-gel dripped from his head in half congealed streams. He was slightly sick to his stomach and his leg muscles felt slightly atrophied. This was one of the worst parts of space travel. Goddamn gel... He spit a bit out of his mouth and walked shakily over to the shower area. He turned on the water and stepped out of the way to let it warm up a bit. He was the first up, again. It seemed his body didn't like stasis. The pods sense when you become conscious and drain the gel from the pod, leaving you standing, or sometimes slightly slumping in the tank.

Allen- "One day away..." He stepped into the water stream and removed his skintight shorts, cleaning the gel from every nook, cranny, and crevice of his body. "Disgusting..." His voice cracked from disuse. Allen finished rinsing himself off and wrapped a towel around his lower body. He dried his face and looked around the room. A few of his crew were up, along with two or three SEALS. "Hey, anyone who's up tell everyone else to meet back in the briefing room in about an hour." He looked toward Gabriella. She was still in her pod. "And someone tell Ms. MacGuire to meet me in my quarters before then." A few eyebrows were raised at this, but Allen walked awkwardly out before he could see them. "Coffee sounds good..." He began walking toward his quarters.

The gel drained, and, as if she had done nothing more than have a restful night's sleep, Avlen walked straight out of her pod. Then, cooly, calmly, she stripped off the skin tight bra and shorts that had done nothing but absorb the gel like a sponge and head for the nearby showers.

With vigorous movements, she scrubbed her body clean, desperate to remove the last traces of gunk and slime from her now, much paler skin. She rubbed her hair with energetic movements, then shook herself dry and yanked a towel off the rack. Wrapping it around her hips, she stepped out into the main room and watched others wake up.

Not exciting. She had to get dressed. Debreifing.

"...ugh."

She stepped out into the hall. It was smaller than she remembered, but then again, she had spent quite awhile hibernating in the cool recesses of her mother's womb...? No. A stasis pod. Cold and mechanical. Avlen sighed and entered her quarters. They were exactly as she remembered them. She smiled and opened the closet doors, averting her eyes from the mirrors. Thick dark pants, a skin tight blouse, covere that with a loser fitting shirt, lace up the boots, brush back the hair for once, dump the towel in the baskets.

"...how pretty. I hope those SEALs are as boring as they look."

Avlen smiled and slid both mirrors shut again and picked up her breifcase. Then, she slid into the hallway and headed slowly towards the breifing room. Her stomach wasn't complaining yet. And she didn't feel like anything but getting this experience started.

She woke up and immediately threw up the green gel that had accumulated in her mouth and throat. Her body shivering uncontrollably as she began to wake up. Her eyes searched the pod around her trying to refocus. Her hands felt around the small enclosure the doors opened and she stepped out slowly and cleaned her eyes getting a better look around. She heard Allen speak to the rest, but she did not see who else was awakened. She only stood in her place her body adjusting.

After a moment of just standing she moved off to the shower and removed the bra and tight boy cut shorts she had wore in the pod. The clothes felt as if they had gotten a size smaller as they were close to impossible to remove. The gel had sunken into the clothes making them stick to her body. After finally removing them she jumped under the stream of hot water and allowed it to flow over her head face and body, relaxing before scubbing her body clean. She washed her hair and in felt that it was shorter than usual. Damn I cut it. She giggled to herself and continued to wash making sure that every strand and dried blod of gel was removed from her body.

She finished wrapped the towel tightly around her body and moved back into the room. Her hair wet was blotted and left dangling where it lay after she tossed it around. She stepped back into the main are to see Avlen leave the room and looked around. Van still lay in the pod, lucky the gel had drained but she needed to get him out of there and his airway cleared.

She signaled to a few of the seals. Who moved over to her immediatelt and helped Van out of the pod and onto a levi cart. As he laid on the cart she cleared his mouth and nose with the emergency suction kits placed in a compartment of each pod.

She looked on over him seeing if he'd show any signs of consciousness.

"Okay Van, wake up." She looked at him seeing if he'd begin to breath. Hopefully his mind would pick up the fact he was out of the pod and signal him to breath.

20 seconds... no chest movement and his lips began to turn blue. She lheld her face close to his and felt no air on her skin.

SHIT! She felt for a pulse. It was there luckily. She held his had back and placed her mouth over his giving him one good breath. As she did this Van coughed and she turned his face to the side and he spit up more of the gel, and began to breathe slowly once again. She left him on his side, and covered him up.

She looked over him once again remembering he was still covered with gel.

" Um, anyone wanna help me clean him up?"

Van felt the tug of gravity as the ship's engines engaged, his doppelganger now sat with his arms folded only a meter of so away from Van. He drew in a breath and got up off the ground, he wondered how big this "place" was, though it was unlikely his counterpart would merely let him explore. Brushing off his trousers more so out of habit than requirement he walked over to the figure and began to observe him. His phantom seemed annoyed by this sudden attention and rose himself, Van chuckled, perhaps he'd be able to return some of the torture he'd caused Van.

Van wondered when they'd reach Deimos, a gigantic rock where many innocent people had met their doom. He continued to follow the spectre that had haunted him, it amused Van to see the agitated look on his face, he so mighty once had now become so shy that Van was no longer afraid of him. The whiteness expanded in all directions so he had no idea how large this environment was, though it did occur to him that this was just a projection of some kind in his head. His assailant grew even more angry at Van's pursuit, he growled in an almost primal fashion as Van approached.

Figure: [Caustically] Well you seem to be enjoying yourself, though since you'll be here forever that may be to your advantage.

Van: [As Caustic] If I had something to eat I might be more comfortable.

Figure: [Malevolently] Or perhaps you'd like to be able to breathe ?

Van grabbed his throat trying to draw in air, he fell to his knees gasping, like a fish drawn cruelly out of water. His spectre stood above him a smirk drawn clearly across his face, it was obvious to him at least who held the power here. He found himself covered in some kind of a green slime, and he tried frantically to pry it off his skin. His doppelganger now broke into a fit of laughter at Van's plight, an base laugh that echoed hatred.

Van fell to the ground and was sure he was going to die, instead a large glob of that same gel spewed forth from his mouth like a discoloured vomit. His gasped loudly trying to draw as much air as possible into his lungs, "What a sick creature he thought". He demon now knelt down beside Van, smiling still it picked up a handful of the same gel that had covered Van, he crushed it in his palm and the wiped it off before speaking.

Figure: [Cheerfully] Well we've arrived at Deimos, I hope you enjoy it as it's going to be the last place you ever see. If you do survive long enough look me up. [Laughs again before clicking his fingers]

Van's eyes opened and he found himself looking directly into those of Trini who was but half an inch from his face, he smiled before trying weakly to speak...

She placed her finger over his mouth before he spoke.

"Good to see you, too, OLD MAN." She laughed heartfully her hair, still damp, hanging around her face. "Um but if you're really trying to impress me. Go get washed up." She wiped the some of the gel away from his face and showed him the amount she was able to retrieve with one finger.

"Then we'll talk, I got a bunch of questions for you and we need to check you out again."

She stood up and let the male SEAL's help Van out.

"Thanks guys for cleaning him," she said acknowledging them. Then lightly touched Van's shouldes as she began to depart from them. "And please escort him to the ed Bay when you're done.

"Yes ma'am." One acknowledged back towards her.

She left them and headed to her room, not too far from the Medical Bay and quickly dressed. She threw on a loose fitting shirt and tight dark pants. Her hair she finished drying and brushed it down so that it was tucked neatly behind her ears. She threw on a pair of black boots and moved into the Medical Bay turning on the equipment and waited for Van's arrival.

"SHIT! Allen," she moved straigway to the Comm and got him provately on the speaker.

"Allen?" She spoke quietly.

" What's up Trini," he replied after a few minutes of silence.

"Van just woke up, they're gonna transport him here shortly. I'll be in debriefing as soon as he checks out okay."

Hey everyone. this is just a notice that I will be away for a few days to maybe a week tops. As many may know I live in Florida and if you keep an eye on the news you know that our state is being threatened by a hurricane. And how its directed, my area may be affected as well. But if its not as expected. I'll be back shortly to continue this adventure.

Steffanie woke up immediately, and coughed out some of the gel that had gotten into her mouth. She shook herself, and ran a hand across her eyes, clearing them. Ugh. Her bra and shorts felt tighter, and she slowly stepped out of the pod, letting her eyes adjust.

Slowly, she followed Trini to the showers, her footsteps slightly unsure. Peeling off the offensive clothing, Steffanie stepped under the warm water. Gods, I feel like I drank half the gel, and the other half seems to have soaked into my skin?

She scrubbed her skin raw, and did her hair four times over before it finally came clean. That?s what I get for never cutting it. She let the water run over her skin numerous times, and again she scrubbed her skin. She felt like the gel would never go away. Finally she just stood there, letting the water warm her body and relax her muscles.

Steffanie stepped out of the shower, and dried herself vigorously, then toweled her hair dry. When she was done, she wrapped the towel around herself, and went back to the main. Steffanie managed to slip out of the room before Trini asked for help.

The shrink managed to make it to her compartment, and dragged some clothing out. She put on a new bra and a pair of boy shorts, before slipping into a pair of brown velvet and silk flare pants with low-rise, a black spaghetti strap shirt, and a see-through filmy black jacket.

Sitting on her bed, Steffanie pulled on her tennis shoes over a pair of ankle socks, and felt her hair. Reaching up, she quickly pulled it into a ponytail, and then braided it. The braid thumped against her shoulders as she left, and headed for the debriefing.

OOC: My problem is like sweet?s is. My grandparent?s are coming from Florida in evacuation, and so might the rest of the relatives that live down there. I?m going to be busy. As soon as I recover from one thing another is dumped on my head. I?ll get on when I have the time!

Marcus coughed up some of the goo as he sat up from his pod and running his hand through his hair, which immediately stood on end, found that a large amount had made his hair home and he shuddered slightly as he felt the cold prick at his body, the fact that the goo had been absorbed by his pants didn?t help the situation much.

Climbing out of his pod he abandoned any idea of keeping his modesty as he saw the others were simply taking of their clothes and getting straight into the showers, Marcus quickly followed suit and soon the warm water was rinsing away the goo and leaving him feeling refreshed and ready for the debrief.

?Why can?t they figure out a more people-oriented method of space travel? Marcus though as he untangled his hair and extracted the remains of the gel. After a good fifteen minutes he felt he was thoroughly clean and got himself a pair of boxers and made his way quickly to his quarters to change.

He found a pair of jeans and a simple T-Shirt, not regulation but he needed to get to the debrief pretty fast. Checking his quarters he found an un-open pack of field-rations which he bolted down at speed and made his way from his quarters. Marcus saw Steffanie down the corridor and sped up to walk along side her, she gave him a smile when she saw him. With nothing else to say he said the first thing that came to his mind.

Marcus: [Jokingly] ?So d?you think we?ll ever get to the mess hall for dinner??

?After the debriefing, I think I?m going to lock myself in the kitchen.? She laughed again, and the two walked down the hall, throwing jokes back and forth. Steffanie felt slightly more relaxed after the shower.

?They need to find a different way for people to travel. I felt like I was never going to get that goo out of my hair.? Marcus nodded in agreement. ?I think I swallowed a lot of it.? Steffanie laughed.

?Not very tasty, is it??

Stepping out of her pod, Gabriella felt gravity's weight pull her and she stumbled out. She regained her balance and walked to the showers with gel dripping down from her hair. Once she had arrived at the showers, she stripped away the tightening shorts and bra and turned the water on, but allowed it to heat for a while. She then proceeded into removing the awful gunk from her body, cleaning herself to be presented a bit more groomed.

Gabriella stood under the warm water, scrubbing and nearly sanding away the gel that had stuck onto her body. She then proceeded to vigorously rinse and wash away the nasty pod gel from her hair. Globs and drips of the gel fell onto the shower floor and was drained. Gabriella was glad to be rid of it.

After washing away the gel from her body and hair, Gabriella stood in the warm water, allowing it to pour against her body. She stood there, thinking of the person in the sick bay, who was now in one of the stasis pods. She shook her head and turned the water off, grabbing a towel from the rack and walking out to the main room, where she could see the rest of the SEAL's operatives awakening and cleaning themselves up. She gave a welcoming smile and walked away to her room, where she dried herself off and put on a pair of black cargo pants, a black army tank, white ankle socks, and her regular black sneakers.

Walking to her room mirror, she looked into it and sighed. A knock came to her door. Looking towards it, Gabriella answered.

"Ms. MacGuire, Captain Chubbs requests your presence before our debriefing. He would like you to meet him in his quarters."

Acknowledging the captain's orders, the Weapons & Defense director thanked the SEAL operative and he went on his way, as did she. She walked out of her room and down to the captain's quarters. She knocked and walked in, looking at Chubbs, who was sitting and drinking a cup of coffee.

Allen let the steaming coffee course down his disused throat. It felt good and relieving. The perfect thing for after a nice long stasis session. He had fought a bit with the drink machine. All it wanted to dispence was de-caf coffee. Nasty stuff... It took nearly ten minutes of coaxing, during which he had dressed and injected himself with a muscle-building enzyme. His legs had began working almost immediately for the enzyme was made to target only atrophied muscles. The vending machine had finally accepted the fact that it was ok to dispence caffinated beverages, and Allen had, a little heatedly, sat down and began sipping the monotonous mug of coffee.

A small knock woke him from his slight doze and he looked up, taking another sip of coffee. It was Gabriella. He set his mug down and motioned for her to come in. The door closed behind her.

Allen- "Can I get you anything?" She shook her head and took a seat on another chair.

Gabriella- "What's this about?" Allen shifted slightly in his chair and looked at her.

Allen- "It's about our little hitch-hiker. He'll be revived in..." Allen checked his watch. "About an hour and fifteen minutes. I want the two of us plus NGS Corbin to be there when he wakes up. We need to talk to him a little bit." She nodded.

Gabriella- "So this is going to stay between us for now?"

Allen- "I'm going to announce it during the briefing and hope the SEALS don't freak out." Gabriella smiled and stood up.

Gabriella- "Well I'm going to go." Allen nodded and stood up. He walked her to the door, a very short walk, and watched her leave.

Allen- "See you soon." She gave him a wave and walked on toward her room. Allen watched her go with a little tug at his heart. No, he couldn't let it happen again... He'd lost the one he loved on the last one. He wouldn't allow himself to love, or even like, until he was home...

Van scrubbed his hair in under the hot water, the GR-Gel was one of the greatest breakthroughs for space travel but it was nothing short of a pain in the ass to remove. He closed his eyes and just listened to the sounds of the running water, as if trying to convince himself that this was indeed real and not some figment of his imagination. After several minutes he stepped out from under the shower and began to dry himself off, it had been a while since he'd had a shower and it had been most relaxing.

Within a few minutes he was changed into his regular clothing, he scratched the back of his right hand at the fabric moved over it, an itch so simple a sensation provided him with some relief that this was real. Walking slowly out of the room he decided that his first order of business should be to get something to eat from the Mess Hall, he knew Trini wanted to debrief him after what happened but surely she'd wait until he had something to eat. He ran one hand along the cold metallic walls of the corridor before entering the Mess Hall.

He walked slowly over to the fridge, his stomach rumbled in anticipation of food, reaching inside he withdrew one of the many frozen meals. "Sweet and Sour Chicken with Basmati rice" he murmured, removing the foil lid he pushed it carefully into a nearby cooking unit before sitting down. Within a few seconds he heard the beep signalling him that the meal was cooked, removing the meal he cursed as he almost burnt his fingers. He savoured the smell of the meal before actually tasting it, it was one of a few meals he actually liked eating and it had been a while since he'd eaten it. As he was about to take the first bite he heard a clear and unmistakable cough...

Trini: [Amused] I thought I asked you to come into the sick-bay.

Van: [Exasperated] Oh come on Trini, it's my first meal !!

Trini: [Laughs] Then get me a fork too.

Van laughed and withdrew another fork from the many presses of the Mess, he handed over to Trini who now sat across from him. Her eyes twinkled as he she looked at Van, he wondered if she was interested more in his food than him...

On her way to the debriefing room, she heard voices. Pleasant joking voices. She shivered to herself and continued walking. Voices were common. With a delicate smile she passed two SEALs on the way to the Mess Hall. Both gave her an odd look, and she returned it.

Her hips rotated slightly under her tread, and she felt a tingling sensation sparkle down her spine. She shook and let it go. Then, she opened the door to the debreifing room and sat down in one of the chairs. Her breifcase landed on the table and she removed her earpiece with one hand. With a perfect flip of her fingers she pressed it into her ear and let her hair fall back over it.

.......just like usual. Spacial reverberations, echos, humming, nodding, static. But not too much static.

She walked to a nearby console and pressed the pannel. Instantly, several displays lit up. She watched them them a jaundiced eye and pressed the most interesting. Deimos maps. Cycles, various outposts. Structures, population counts. She peered closer until she could almost see her reflection in the glowing screen. Quickly, she stepped back and shut her eyes. No more of that. Not now, not after she had spent so much time in rest.

Jako opened his eyes after wiping the slimy remnants of gel off his eyelids. He saw the partially frosted covering retract into the side of the pod, and felt the heat returning to his muscles as warm air was blown over him. Struggling to sit up from his prone position in the pod, Jako looked around the room. A SEAL was leaving for the showers, and there was only 4 pods left to open, but nobody else was around. Easing himself out of the pod, Jako collected his shirt, jacket and pants from where he had stowed them in a compartment. Once he was in the showers, he luxuriated in the warmth of the steadily hissing water. Already the butterflies were rising in his belly.

Deimos. Pitiful, terrible, wonderous, magical, shithole rock in the middle ofspace. Hellhole rock too, maybe.

Just maybe.

Towelling himself dry, Jako fingered a clump of goo out ofhis hair, and flung it onto the drain. Gross.

Checking the pagers, which every crew member had, Jako thought it about time to head off for the meeting and further debriefing.

Maybe something had transpired during their...little nap.

Ana stumbled out of the pod, ripping off her ruined underclothes and practically diving into the shower. Under the ice cold blast from the showerhead, she scrubbed herself vigorously, using soap as liberally as she felt necessary until all traces of gel were removed. Then she turned and snapped a towel off the shelves and wrapped herself up.

Without a backwards glance, she marched straight to her quarters and fell backwards onto the bed. All she wanted was sleep. And a natural sleep. None of this hibernation in sterile disgusting enviornment crap either. She almost closed her eyelids when she heard the announcement come through.

"...tell everyone else to meet back in the briefing room in about an hour."

.....a debreifing. Ugh. She rolled her good eye and crawled closer to the pillow. She hugged one to her chest, wishing she could simply drop off and not come back. Then, reality sunk in and she headed for the closet, drawing on her uniform and grabbing her papers. So much for relaxation.

Walking down the hall, Gabriella looked back at Allen's door and walked on. She then knew she had to watch the monitors, to see if anyone else had tampered with anything or had arrived onto the ship without consent.

Gabriella changed her route and went to the security room, where 2 SEALs had cozily made it their "home". She stood in the doorway and was going to ask when she remembered Allen's announcement. She turned around and headed back to her room.

Arriving there, she sat down and grabbed her recorder. She also grabbed her laptop, surveying things from there and coding, decoding, and the likes. She then sat back and watched her work come to life, creating a detailed appearance of Deimos and the video. As she watched it, something strange appeared from the corner, the next moment, it had vanished.

Nothing more came out of the video, other than the previous static and constant screaming. With a sigh, Gabriella put down her laptop and proceeded on her way to the debriefing. She stood and stretched before making her way out. She had nearly nothing to worry about, except for the two Seals who were occupying the security room. If she had no welcome there, the weaponry was her last resort.

She olucked a few pieces of chicken out of the container and placed them in her mouth. Studying Van as he continued to eat. Her eyes caught his for a moment as she slowly chewed the food in her mouth and she finally placed the fork down and swallowed the remaining bits of food.

"What's on your mind Van?" She said her arms crossed on the table leaning over a bit looking at him.

He placed down his fork and took a sip of his drink. Then wiped his mouth.

"Nothing really. Why something eating you?" He looked at her carefully. She sat back and revealed the bottle she held in her pockets.

"This is eating me." She made sure the name was clearly visible to him. "When did you start taking this. Well more so WHY!?"

This is not dead.
I'm currently having some telecommunications work done near my house that is disrupting the phoneline and therefore my internet connection.
It's probably going to be a little while, but I will post the briefing when it's all better.

And please don't get discouraged. The RPG will continue.

Van sighed and rubbed his free hand against his forehead, he'd been hoping they might not find the Neurozine vial before he had a chance to hide it. He wondered if he should tell her the whole truth, in any normal circumstance she'd call him crazy but they'd rarely known what you'd call normal circumstances. He rolled the vial a few times between his thumb and index fingers, a small amount of the liquid was still visible, probably the way she worked out what it was, he closed his eyes and sighed again before speaking.

Van: [Inhaling] I'm guessing you already know what this is, in which case you know that I'm the one responsible for the research which led to it. [Places the vial down onto the table]

Trini: [Picking up the vial] I'm aware of that Van, what I want to know is why you're taking Neurozine in such doses ?

Van: [Softly] If I told anyone but you and Allen I'd be called a liar but you two know me better... [Exhales again] Alright you want to know why I'm taking Neurozine I'll tell you... [Explains]... And that is as we say that... [Places his head in his hands].

Trini: [Looking at Van] Van, I... I'm glad you told me, you're right if you told anyone else they would call you crazy, they'd call us all crazy.

Trini got up and rubbed he hand along Van's back, she wondered what it must have been like to go through what's he'd been through, to have to face his own dark side. Van exhaled again and turned himself to face her, she really was beautiful, a living Aphrodite, he stood up not really sure if what he was about to do was the right thing, but if he didn't he'd regret it the rest of his life. Trini more than likely knew what he was going to do, it was something in her eyes, she leaned in closer to him as he wrapped his arm around her, the next moment seemed to stop time as their lips met...

Allen: [Laughs] Hello, hello...

Avlen watched the two kiss from one of the control pannels and hissed to herself. Stupid....... ....wait a second. Why was she bothered by who Van kissed? She hardly knew him. And-

She turned away from the screen, decativating it by sweeping her hand over the console once. Then she turned and sat down heavily, looking slightly glazed. Sure it had been a rough day, and she wasnt' feeling good about herself. Maybe she'd gone on too long without someone to caress herself. Or....someone for her to caress. Like- she had no idea. Not like she'd ever been married or ever been in a positive serious relationship. More the quick burning passion kind.

And that had taught her enough.

"Spread your legs, close your eyes, and think of England."

Too much maybe. Avlen closed her mouth, realizing it had been open during her sudden yet breif revelrie. She shook herself and dragged her eyes back to the present. The file on her desk was open. She picked it up and stared at it absently, feigning scholarly absorption. In truth, her eyes weren't even focusing.

What sort of lover would Van turn out to be? Probably not the good kind. At least if he was taking a Neurosine vial....there was something definetly wrong with him. Then again, she was the syntheste that refused to be medicated and taken under any sort of study. Ugh, why was she even thinking these things? Like he'd notice the invisible communications specialist. Nobody seemed to on this ship.

Trini and Van heard Allen as he entered the room seeing the both of them embracing each other. They parted from each other slowly, Van the first to break eye contact and look over at Allen.

Allen: Did I disturb something?

Trini stood silent for a moment and then turned to Allen.

Trini: No.

She exhaled deeply and looked back over at Van momentarily before returning her eyes to Allen.

Trini: I was just about to go.

As she parted from Van he took her hand in his, she looked up at him.Her eyes half pleading and half gleaming. His espression wanting her to stay.

She looked at him longer and did something unexpected. She stepped towards him and kissed him lightly on the lips savoring the feel of his lips against her for another moment before backing away.

Trini: (whispering) I'll be back.

She gave him a sincere smile and walked away from him. She left Van and Allen alone in the room and walked down the halfway down the hall and leaned up against the wall. She soon felt confused. Her thoughts mixing in her head incoherently. She didnt know what to do. What feeling she really had for him.

Soon her thought began to focus on the past. Her other relationship. Remembering how it started, how he had felt when he kissed her. Some similarities to Van and still some differences. Then the time came into play.

It had almost been 5 years since she felt a man's touch. Purley physical buut there were different, they dellved deeper than anyone elses. A chill ran up her back. Physical pleasure.

It popped in her head and she cursed herself.

Inner Voice: So what are you gonna do Trini? What ARE YOU.... gonna do?
