Anime Any anime characters you pity, worship, or fear?

For me, I have several from my favorite anime.

Toguro of Yu Yu Hakasho. Poor guy, [spoiler]having all his students slaughtered when he couldn't protect them. I used to be terrified of him, but now I sort of understand. But not why he chose to become a demon. :confused[/spoiler] Poor poor guy.

Marik of Yu-Gi-Oh! Ah, the insane one. [spoiler]To get that writing carved into his back at such a young age, must've been horriable.[/spoiler] And Risid (his dub name is really stupid :mad: ) really cares for him, whcich is sweet. And why did Shadii direct his anger at the pharaoh? *stares off into distance*

That's an interesting topic, I should say:

Worship (kinda extreme, but I really like them!):

- The crew from bebop.............. they are just amaaaazing!!!! Their interactions and the outcome of those are one of the things that is so great about the series. It's almost like their fate was to meet and change one another's lives. They are just too life-like, when I think about them, I feel like I'm remebering a bunch of friend from high school........

Fear:

- Lain, maybe....... she's kinda scary! The whole series was kinda scary, hehe.


Pity:

- Tetsuo from Akira............... for obvious reasons. It just wasnt his fault he was so messed up!

Id have to say I pity Vicious from cowboy bebop.

He had no family of his own and had to be taken in by Spike and thusly into the syndicate (implied information), lost the woman he loved (at least in the physical sence) to Spike also, who also appears to be his only friend, Is downtroden, untrusted and oppressed in the syndicate of the Red Dragon (noone believed him when he said Spike was alive and the tone used to him is untolerable) and mostly because he reminds me of me, so much anger in him...

From Bebop again id have to say I feared Pierot le Fau, for the obvious reasons - A manic all powerful crazy looking guy with the mind of a child? (Children are the spawn of all evil and have to be taught not to be, but thats another story.)

I'd have to say I admire Geagan from the LupinIII series, I only wish I could take such a laid back view on life as he has, he wont die until a ripe old age =)

[EVA Unit 100]

Pity:
Kira Yamato (Being stuck in a war that he disagrees with, forced to fight against his best friend, taken advantage over by psycho-hottie Flay, you have to feel sorry for him)
Spike Spiegel (His brother is evil, he lost his love, and he has a terrible past)
Soujiro (Could have been a hero, but ended up a bad guy)
Beyond the Grave (He was betrayed bigtime)

Worship:
I'm not THAT crazy ;)

Fear:
Lord Shishio (He bit Kenshin's shoulder off. 'Nuff said)

Hiei from Yu Yu Hackisho, plays it "I'm not arigant I'm just better then you" attatude, but still has a good friend, who is also cute, always good if you had an argument with the other ;) lol
Yoko Karama from Yu Yu Hackisho, He's HOT and thats it! ;)
Inuyasha from Inuyasha, he's hot, you can read him like a book...oh and you can esally disaplin him :D

Worship- Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh! lol Coolest person ever. He's also hot. =P
Inuyasha- he's so cute! I love the dog ears.
Arucard from Hellsing Gotta love 300 year old vampires.
Naraku from Inuyasha. He wears blue eyeliner!!!I love guys that wear eyeliner. lol

Fears- Yami Marik from YGO- He's so damn insane! and the hair.. is scary itself.

[b]Pity[/b]

First and formost I pity SailorMoon/Tsukino Usagi from SailorMoon (all five seasons are full of reasons to pity her)

Reason 1: In the very first episode she's scared out of her mind by a talking cat right when she wakes up

Reason 2: She finds out later on in the series that ChibiUsa is her daughter

Reason 3: She finds out later in the series that she has to not only marry Mamoru but copulate with the dude and the outcome is ChibiUSa

Reason 4: She finds out that she is the sole possesor of the guginshu (silver crystal) which is very powerful and has all these bad guys after her

Reason 5: She has to constantly save the world

Reason 6: She had to relive 8th grade twice [spoiler]SailorMoon along with the rest of the inner senshi and Tuxedo Kamen/Mamo dork all died and then were reborn at the end of the first season and during the first half of the second season they were trying to regain their memories and stuck reliving a whole year[/spoiler]

Reason 7: Her grades are horrendous, I don't know how she'd survive the real life Japanese school system.

I also pity Higurashi Kagome from InuYasha. Day in and day out that girl is compared to her former life person Kikyo. She has to wonder if InuYasha loved Kikyo more than her and if she's a replacement for Kikyo.

Then there's the whole double life thing, she can't tell her friends that she hops through a well into the fuedal era to collect shards of teh shikkon no tama and her grandpa is always making up these strange diseases as excuses as to why she isn't in school. Then when she is in school she has to make up all these tests. Face it people, this girl is never going to pass the entrance exams to get into a good high school...then she'll never get into a good university. She may as well stay in the warring states with InuYasha tachi.

Oh and Aya Mikage from Ayashi no Ceres. Who wouldn't pity her? [spoiler]First her family tries to kill her then her cousin tries to rape her. Her brother is her celestial maiden's mortal enemy[/spoiler]...that girl just can't win. Yes, she has two really hot guys around, but she never gets to enjoy that.

[b]Worship[/b]

First and foremost I worship (from a safe distance) Kagura. She's strong willed passionate and willing to risk her life for freedom. Yes, she's evil, but bad girls are so much more fun. Kagura can even forgo honorfics with Sesshomaru and not get in trouble (ie sudden case of death) for her actions. There are pleanty of reasons to love Kagura.

I'm really getting to like Kae from Model. You really have to admire a girl who invades a vampire's privacy and tells another one off. She even tried to draw the guy when she first met him...in the nude. I seriously recommend that everyone read this manga.

And I can't forget Adachi Momo from Peach Girl. She's tough she's strong and well, I don't know much else. I like that during the whole thing with Sae she kept trying to be positive about everything. She tried really hard not to let Sae get to her. You have to admire that in a person.

[b]Fear[/b]

I don't outwardly fear any anime or manga character for any normal reasons, but I will mention some:

Anyone from LA blue girl. Anyone who has seen this anime would know why. I mean who wouldn't be freaked out by some scary libido enduced demon who could control through well...if you know what the anime is about you know what I mean?

ChibiUsa-The girl is some kind of evil encarnate. I only fear her because I kow evil when I see it in action.

Kagura from InuYasha. Really, this woman never gets a break from Naraku. He holds her heart, and I don't think it would be the best feeling to have your heart squeezed every mistake you make in your life. Plus, it sucks for her too because she can't usually have a word of her own, Naraku making most of her decisions. *sighs*

[b]Worship:[/b]

Ed from Cowboy Bebop. She is one of the most, coolest, hyper people I have ever seen in an anime, along with her computer. I really wouldn't call it worshiping her, but she has to be one of the coolest people in that anime.

Tetsuo from Akira. First, he transforms into this big thing that looks like a giant heart, and then he smushes his girlfriend within its depths. The blood and all was okay, but it's kind of scary if you have a giant thing moving throughout your city destroying stuff.[/color][/size]

Yes I pity 2 the 1st would have to be Vash from Trigun I hate the way people treat him.Its so sad he is so nice and caring and they don't take the time to see that.He hates death so much but yet it always follows him every where he goes but, yet he keeps on trying to do his best to bring love and peace to that world.The next would have to be Inuyasha even if he doesn't show it you know he is really hurt about what happened 50years ago.But I guess if it didn't happen then he would of never made the friends he has now.
I only worship one anime character and that is Sesshomaru and for others who love Sesshomaru then you know why!!!!!
I don't really fear any anime character well I take that back I do one Naraku he is so tricky I know I would walk right in one of his traps and not think any thing about it.

You make a good point about Vash. Not only does he hate death, but he tries as hard as he can to avoid it, and given his line of work, that is very difficult. I think Vash is a great choice. However, you dont so much pity him as feel bad for him.
I think pity is more of a degrading word.

I worship Rei Ayanami because she is so cool and her doesn't give a hoot attitude.
I pity and at the same time worship D. Pity because of the way he is hated by humans and vampires and thus is always alone and worship because of his cool personality.

I worship Naraku of Inuyasha because he is the best character.
I also worship Vegeta from DBZ, because he's fierce, arrogent, pround, and strong. It takes alot to be the prince of a race that was destroyed.

Pity
i dont really pity any anime character.

Worship , not really although there are multiple characters i like alot since they are my favo's from the show :

-Kagome , she's so kewl and she can command inuyasha ^_^
-Kenshin , His Eyes when he was the legendary battousai are awsome
-D-Boy(tekkaman blade) , His reactions are kewl sumtimes , haven't seen the whole show (yet) but this one can definatly be added to the list
-Su(Love Hina): she's imo the funnyest character in the show ^^
-Chi(chobits): the way she is , especialy in the end she's awsome !!!
-hellsing: i mean he's awsome , his moves,the way he acts (don't think i need an explenation for this one ^^)

fear :
not really , its only a show to me , i watch them cuz they entertain me , not because i'm scared
