It has been twenty years since the Hundred Year War ceased. Peace finally reigned over the kingdom of Celebrynn and its arch-enemy, the kingdom of Zerveria. The royal family of Celebrynn: King Orion, Queen Lillyana and their twenty-year-old son, Kai, have enjoyed this lasting peace.

However, out of the way of the wary ears of the Palace, rumours have been preadig thick and fast about the border towns being attacked by the dark forces of Zerveria's king, Ilthazar. He is renowned for his blood-thirty habits and gruesome likes.

But help is on the way. Throughout the Kingdom of Celebrynn, King Orion's elite forc, The Dragon Riders, have been resting and enjoying the peace, like the rest of the populace. These Riders are a special breed of people. They have the ability to speak with their dragons who have been at their side since infancy. Each dragon and rider hold the power of one element of the world, which resides in a jewel hidden in the dragon's heart. The Riders have been the guardians of Celebrynn and now, after the Hundred Year War, they are needed again.

Short History: Brielle was left an orphan while she was still a baby as her mother and father were killed in the Hundred Year War. She grew up under the care of Lillyana and Orion and considered them and Kai her family. In a visit to the Hatchery when she was young, her dragon was just born and the two have never been apart since.

[B](Not So) Short History:[/B] Saenia has always been a large fan of dragons and adores them deeply, wishing she had wings herself so she could cut through the air of the skies. Saenia's father was a dragon tamer in his younger days, but doesn't do it as much because he's old. When Saenia was at the tender age of three, her father started to teach her things about dragons and she listened intently to his stories of the dragons he'd met in travels.
One night, when she was four, there was a large storm and there was heavy rain. Saenia and her mother waited in the living room for her father to arrive. Finally he did and he had something cradled in his arms, wrapped in his jacket. Saenia's mother jumped up to get him a towel and Saenia ran to see what her father was carrying. He unveiled it to be a baby dragon. He told her that her mother had died and it was helpless. Saenia immediately bonded with the small purple dragon and decided to name her Sideria. Sideria and Saenia grew at the same pace, difference being that Sideria grew bigger than Saenia quickly.
Saenia's father passed on the skills of how to take care of dragons as he started to get older so she could take care of the other dragons housed in the family stables. Saenia and Sideria are still best friends and they've learned to communicate by mind speech, the way dragons usually conversed with their partners. He also helped her in combat skills, both armed and hand-to-hand combat, teaching her a large range of martial arts.
Saenia soon discovered that Sideria was a special dragon, connected to the element of water. She got a message a few days later, telling her that she was needed with Sideria to help go against some bad guys.

Short History: Heero lives in a small hut deep in a forest just infront of a huge cave on the out skirts of the Kingdom of Celebrynn,a man called Drewell took him in when he was a baby, the man taught him everything about surviving alone and how to use a sword but when Heero was very young the man was killed in the hundred year war and he was left alone to look after himself, He became very quiet, serious, untrusting, cold hearted and lonely young boy, at the age of 12 he found an egg which had fallen off a wagon passing through the forest, the men tried to reclaim the egg but Heero nearly killed them because to him he thought it was food until it hatched and a dragon was born...a dragon whos been by his side ever since, the only thing he's ever loved and his only friend and companion even though the loneliness had gone the seriousness, cold heart and untrusting soul stayed which kept him from getting close to anyone other than the Dragon...The Dragon is very over protective of him and goes with him everywhere, they have never been apart once...their bond is strong, strong to the point where they know when there was something wrong with the other or when something had happened...

Short History: Ryojin was left at someone's home on his father's last bit of strength. It was the and of the war and his father was dying on a stormy day. He knocked on the door after seeing someone walk in saved the child and distanced himself as far as possible before he died. Ryojin grew up in the home of Saenia as her little brother. He came into their home on the same day Sideria did. They got along well but not as well as Sideria and Saenia had. Ryojin had lived with them for five years now. He started going outside on his own just to see if he could. On his first trip outside alone he found what he thought was a blue ball. He took it inside and showed it to his father. He was told that it was a baby Blue Dragon. He named the dragon Dryoga, which he treated like a younger brother. As time went by Ryojin grew closer to Dryoga and Sideria, but he and Dryoga were inseperable. Ryojin always included himself in his sister's training, learning some of the skills she did and receiving his own weapon training. It was not until he was 16 that he lerned about his real father. He never knew he was adopted until he heard of his father being a war hero. He decided that the family he lived with was the only one he knew, so he used his original last name as his middle name and kept living as a Kite. He found out that his father left him a sword, he increased his training intensity to be able to wield the sword with ease and it took him 4 years to master. When Ryojin reached age 21, he and Saenia recieved a letter requesting that they and their dragons help them.

Short History:His parents were training him to be a dragon rider ever since he was born.They got a dragon to be born exactly when he was born.They were very close.The dragon was the only best friend he had.He named it styx when he was 4 years old.His parents were very experienced dragon riders.It so happened that the dad had a male dragon and the mom had a female dragon.Thats how they got the baby dragon.One day the parents left and got murdered when they where in a tense battle.They died protecting others..Then Natsume had no choice but to wander for a place where they would except him.He trained his whole life,and he still is.He had to hunt for food sometimes.He sometimes trained for a whole day.

Short History: Alex's childhood was one of both great loss and great gain. When Alexander reached the age of 4 his brother was murdered by bandits. His mother mourned for many days untill her fragile heart broke and she passed away. His father retreated to himslef for a year, than allowed himself to put the past behind him. Alex found his dragon companion not long after his father emotionally recovered. He found an egg in the woods and decided he would care for it. Alex was suprised when out of the egg hatched a dragon. He named his dragon Tsubasa, after his father. Now him and Tsubasa live in the mountains, quite happily.

(BTW: The Hildegarde rose is a white rose variant prized in Zerveria for its immense beauty and rarity. She's wanted for kidnapping Zerveria's nobility). Though nobody knew who this "Hildegarde Rose" was, her captives described her as "a beautiful woman in robes of sapphire ... with irises of the same color and hair of dazzling white... WHY CAN'T YOU CATCH SOMEBODY WITH FEATURES AS STRIKING AS THAT?!?" She's as charming as they go!
When she's not kidnapping people, she's hanging out in Celebrynn's outskirts or seeking out a certain good-looking Dragon Rider. Vanilla's reason for abducting the landed gentry is uncertain but she insists that she does it for the fun and fame. Caramel is her "noble steed", and the fastest dragon around. She provides good counsel to Vanilla though the impetuous human rarely heeds them. Vanilla "borrowed" her from a Zerverian duke back when she was about 5 years old. My, my, that's too young an age to start stealing.
She is currently waiting for a job offer. *wink*

Name: Valo

Appearance: A very tall man at 6 ft. 4 in. tall. he has short, black hair, and brown eyes. he's in very good shape, and very muscular. He looks like a fighting man, which he is. He has a scar on the back of his left leg, and another on his left arm.

Short History: The first unusual event in Valo's life happened at the age of five. He was playing hide-and-seek with his friends, and he went a little too far from home for his parents' comfort. He litterally tripped over a dragon egg. he didn't know what it was, and was showing it to his parents when it hatched. Fortunatly, Valo's father knew a man who had experiance with dragons. The man, Branit, immeeatly realized that the newborn dragon had bonded with Valo, though Valo didn't know. And so, Valo's education about dragons began.

The dragon, Angelus, matured a lot faster than Valo. It confused Valo that dragons both lived extremly long lives and grew old faster than humans. At the age of seven, branit taught him that dragons don't grow old faster, they just mature faster, become adults more quickly. Of course, more was abnormal about Valo's life than the dragon, although that's certainly enough.

It happened when Valo was nine years old. Zerveria's army marched through his hometown. Many fought them, but it didn't make d difference. valo's parents were among those killed. As if that wasn't bad enough, Valo saw them killed, saw that his mother wasn't just killed. She was abused by the soldiers before taking her own life. Right then, Valo swore revenge. Zervenia's army had done this, so the one who made the army do it would pay. Ilthazar became his target.

Valo knew that he couldn't do anything against an army, not even with Angelus. The dragon had not quite matured, and so was still quite vulnerable. but she could fly, and she could carry Valo. They fled, but only after Valo retrieved his father's weapon, a pair of metal poles.

They didn't really live anywhere. they moved from place to place. Valo became skilled with the poles, and with the abilities of Light that he and Angelus shared. Angelus has matured, and mature dragons are extremly dangerous.

It's been twenty years since Valo's parents died, but his goal remains the same. He will kill Ilthazar, no matter what he has to do.

Weapon: A pair of metal poles, which he keeps strapped to his back.

Short History: Zeddrick was born of a noble family in the kingdom of Zerveria. As a noblemen he was entitled to become a vassel of the lord or a warrior for his Lordship's armies. Being of the tender age of two, his father chose the valiant life of a dragoon. He went through years of training with his Dragon, Raganrok (Norse for apocolypse). He lost his mother during the One-Hundred Year War's closing. A raid into his families estate left the family broke and torn as several of his siblings were dead or missing.

His Lordship then disowned the Kieler family shunning it into darkness. He joined the army (under obligation mostly) and struggled to make ends meet with the measley pay. Zeddrick climbed his way to the high ranking levels of the army, thus catching Ilthazar's eye and rekindling his families honor. Zeddrick now fights with determined loyalty to restore the family honor and to find his lost sibling...a sister...one that was taken during the raid.

Weapon: A hefty broad sword, custom made to be extra long and light for air duels ontop of dragons. Is usually slung to his back when not engaged in battle.

Short History:
after his parents died during the hundred years war, sef was taken in by his mothers distant reletive king orion. scencing the childs potential at the craft the wise ruler sent him to study with the knoble masters at Jinko. the young boys spirited experimentation became a nusance to the old men and a young silver dragon was bonded with him for "acedemic reasons" (or to keep him out of their hair). the pair stuck it off straight away, both boy and dragon were taught the way of the warrior at the request of orion.with his highly atuned senses sef now works as his grand uncles scout and tracker.
Weapon: (one only) waiu staff: a metalic rod engraved with the pattern of swirling leaves, a warrior mage's battle staff able to be opened to reach absurd distances but is normally scabbarded at his back at a mere foot and a half in length.
