badjesus
Ive thought of a graet idea for manga stories how about taking peices of literature mordernising them and plunge them into to the manga universe. I took this idea from baz lhurmans modern romeo and juliet. think about it you could have macbeth in space or a alen version of a midsummer nights dream or alternativly do a manga version of the canterbury tales. HitokiriBanzai
Did you fall here from the moon? In case you don't know that's how so many mangas were created: Lupin the 3rd, Kiddy grade, Soul Hunter, etc. It's a good idea but what's the point of reinventing the wheel? Okita
Note that most anime and manga had their story board created in Japan, that ebing said, their are tones of anime and manga that are either influenced or based on classic japanese literature, their are even a plethora of anime based on world literature. (ludwig kakumei comes to mind as does Reign) the recently made Otogizoushi and Samurai 7 would be examples of reinvented classics as well... Delta
Not to mention the occasional anime episode based on "A Midsummernight's Dream" (Ah! Megami-sama) and "Cinderella" (Sakura Taisen). "Alice in Wonderland" and "Romeo and Juliet" was adapted for 2 story arcs in Count Cain. A Canterbury Tales-based manga would be very nice! Love and Peace! :love2:
