[Redemption]

[COLOR=Purple]A soft breeze rustled the long green grass. The sound was so soothing. Brielle opened her sky blue eyes. She sighed. Laying in the long green grass in a field near the town of Sargon was Brielle's favourite way to destress. It was a huge field, spanding a few small hills.

[I]Its so peaceful. I love not having to train for war. My spirit doesn't grow restless anymore.[/I]

A loud thump signalled ScytheWing's return. His large black head covered the sunlight that was shining warmly on Brielle's face. He cocked it to one side.
" What are you doing?" he asked.
" Just lying here, thinking. Its nice and peaceful here. No need to fight or use magic," Brielle sighed happily.

Suddenly a twittering noise echoed above Brielle and Scythe. Brielle sat up. She held out an arm and a falcon handed near her elbow. A piece of parchment was tied to its leg. Scythe looked at the bird curiously. Brielle untied the parchment from the falcon's leg. It took off in a flurry of feathers. Brielle unrolled the parhcment and then sighed heavily.
" What is it?" Scythe asked.
" Something's wrong at the palace. They want us to go back. I wish I could just roam around with you. Ah well. Suppose we'd better go," Brielle replied as she stood up. Grabbing her leather saddle from a patch of flattened grass, she fitted it to Scythe. With one heave, she hopped into the seat. Scythe swooped his great black leather wings at the ground and soon, they were off, soaring into the sky.

OOC: ok. All of you need to get a message from the palace. It doesn't have to be the same way as mine, but you just have to be on your way to the palace.

[Gelgoog Pilot]

Zeddrick shifted slightly in his leather war saddle. He hated wiating. He'd rather just do his task alone and get it done than wait for a company of 'specialists' to arrive. They were late as well this REALLY pissed Zeddrick off.

"God damn them. Don't they realise the urgency of this assignment...they better some or I will begin this myself. Alone." Zeddrick hissed from under his cowl.

A similar hissing sound follwed his voice. "I will of course be by your side, so that you will never be truely alone Zeddrick." Raganrok's head turned towards the angry rider calmly. The deep yellow eyes instantly easing Zeddrick's stress. He stroked the scaled neck for a moment, then figidted in the saddle once more.

A rustling from behind signaled the long awaited arrival of a band of brutish looking men. Without even turning his head to address them Zeddrick spoke.

"I've been waiting, you know how his lordship wishes for this to end quickly. Do this efficiently enough and I may forget your tardiness."

The group made a quick bow then headed back the way they came, begining the mission at once.

Zeddrick returned his attention to the vast valley below. An army 10 thousand strong paraded on the feilds, waiting for the single command that would begin the innvasion.

Amoung them a nameless soldier looked up momentarily to catch a giant black dragon taking off from a cliff face high above. The rider seemed at ease on the twisting form of the flying serpent. It sent chills down his spine.

[Heero Darkangel]

A soft warm breath of air rushed out from the cave as Heero walked passed, there was a low growl and then heavy foot steps as Cyrus Sin walked out of the cave, he stretched out his huge wings and shook the tiredness away

'Where are you going?' spoke Cyrus Sin in his deep toned voice as he bent his head down to get a closer look at Heero

'I'm going to have a wash,' replied Heero as he carried on to the river that ran along side his home. Heero undressed himself and jumped in as Cyrus walked over to the river and laid down

After having a wash he got out, dried himself and put some clean clothes on

'So what are we going to do today?' questioned Cyrus as Heero lent against his leg

'Well shall we go for a look around?' replied Heero

'Yeah i could do with a stretch,' smiled Cyrus as he lay his head down on the ground, Heero stood on Cyrus's leg and pulled himself up with ease onto the beasts neck then slid down to the where he sat just before the wings, he never had a saddle so all he used to hold on to was a loose rope tied strongly around Cyrus's neck. With one flap of Cyrus's wings they took off into the sky. Heero loved the wind as it rushed passed his face.

Looking down at the castle courtyard they noticed that there was alot of comotion, he could see the king pacing backwards and forwards infront of what looked to be an army

Suddenly there was aloud shriek from behind them

'Hey get out of the way!' called an unfamiliar voice

Heero looked over his shoulder to see a lady and her Dragon flying towards them

'Cyrus move!,' exclaimed Heero but the dragon flew passed them which such speed that it's wing came down hard on the wing of Cyrus knocking Heero off Cyrus's back

'CYRUS!!,' called out Heero as he fell from the sky

'HEERO!,' roared Cyrus as he spun out of control through the air

Heero landed in a wagon full of hay and the fall broke the wagon

Everyone standing in the courtyard turned to look at him, Heero quickly stood up with his sword drawn

'What are you doing here you peasant!,' exclaimed one of the guards as they drew their weapons at that moment Heero lunged at the guards and they fought for a while...suddenly the sky grew dark and thundered shook the ground as lightning rolled across the sky

'What's going on!,' exclaimed the king as he walked towards them..Heero's face went red

'HEERO!!!!,' Cyrus's voice thundered above them

'CYRUS!!!,' called Heero at that moment Cyrus landed behind Heero, his huge form casted a shadow over everyone, his eyes filled with lightning and sent chills down their spines as they quickly ran backwards.

'What's the meaning of this intrusion?' questioned the King

'We are not intruding...one of your dragon riders knocked me off...i'm not intruding,' spoke Heero as he still held his sword out

'Where are you from?' asked the King, 'and where's the saddle to your beast?'

'I live in the westside forest on the out skirts of Celebrynn, and i ride with no saddle,' replied Heero as he quickly got back on Cyrus who snarled at the guards as they took off

'Wait!,' called the king as the sky cleared but they didn't listen as they disappeared into the sky

'Your Majesty, would you like us to hunt them down?' questioned a Guard

'No...I want you to find him and give him a request form to fight with us, he's an excellent fighter and his Dragon is strong...His dragon is the element of thunder and lightning...we need him to fight with us, we could use the help,' said the King

Cyrus landed outside the cave

'Now that was lucky,' said Heero, 'Talk about Free fall,'

At that moment the Kings guards rode in on horses

'What the hell are you doing here?' questioned heero drawing his sword

'We have come with a message from the king,' spoke a guard as he dismounted his horse and slowly walked towards Heero holding the scroll out, Cyrus snarled but Heero calmed him. The guard carefully handed him the message and then took off, Heero watched them ride off then looked at the scroll, he unrolled it and read it

'Well looks as though the Kings requesting help from us, it says he wants us to return, apparently there's going to be another war,' said Heero, 'What do you think?'

'Well at least we're invited,' said Cyrus

'Yeah...couldn't hurt to go see whats going on,' said Heero, 'Well lets go,'

A cold breeze was flowing on Lionel's face as he was sitting in a big tree with his dragon sleeping like a baby under the tree to get shade.They were tired from doing their daily training. He was taking advantage of his free time. He rested for a few more minutes then leaped off the tree.

"Wake up Styx" said Lionel in a calm voice.The dragon woke up and opened up his eyes slowly.Looking like he wanted to go back to sleep?

"What is it?"replied the Styx in a drowsy voice while resting his head on the soft grass then resting his eyes.

"What do you say we train those wings so you don't let yourself go and get lazy!" said Lionel in a eager voice.While getting ready for take off.

"Sure,I can go for that."while he laid down so Lionel can get on his back easier.

Lionel put the saddle on Styx and they were about to fly away untill a soldier came up to him screaming

"Wait,don't go!!" While Lionel is looking at him puzzled.And the soldier is trying to catch is breath.

"I have been trying to catch you for a while now!,The king has sent this letter to you.He needs your help!

The soldier handed Lionel the letter.

"Ok,I will be right over there,by the way do you need a lift to the castle I can ride you there."Said Lionel.

"No thank you,I will take a rest in the village near by,But good luck!" said the soilder

"Ok thanks,Ok Styx TO THE CASLTE!!!!

Then Lionel flew off to the palace leaving a big impact of wind hitting the ground,blowing the soilder away.

"Wow,they are fast!" said the soilder.

Then the soilder was on his way back to the village.

?Seen anyone suspicious around here?? Captain Aceras whispered as he placed a coin on the counter. The bartender leaned towards him. ?That lady over there. Just came in.? He raised his eyebrows and looked sideways towards the end of the bar. There, a figure was running a finger around the mouth of a bottle. Her eyes were shadowed by a brown cloak yet Aceras felt that they have been on him from the moment he stepped in. ?Thanks.?
As he approached the end of the bar, the red lips under the cloak arched and thinned into a smile.
?Oh, how I love persistent suitors,? the lady began. Aceras rubbed his nose and his operatives behind her slowly stood up. ?Want to see me locked up in your cell?? She stood up and leaned against the bar. ?Pretty kinky, isn?t it?? Aceras? eyebrows met. ?Yes, I?d like that very much,? Aceras said. His grunts started walking towards the hooded figure.
?Well then...?
The figure threw off her cloak,
pulled Aceras closer...
[I]... and kissed him.[/I]
?You?ll have to do better than that, lover boy!? Vanilla smashed the bottle on his head, threw him towards the advancing guards, and made a run for it.
The guards struggled to get Aceras up. And in gratitude, he gave them each a whack on the head. ?After her! You! You! I?ll kill all your families if she gets away!?

[B]In the outskirts of Celebrynn...[/B]
?Hey, Caramel!? Vanilla waved a piece of paper at the silver dragon grazing under the tree. ?Look! Mail!?
[INDENT][I][SIZE=2]Vanilla: Urgent. Go to castle. Bring dragon.[/SIZE][/I][/INDENT]
Moments later and they were aloft. Caramel turned her head towards her rider. ?You know, you shouldn?t have teased them like that.? Vanilla hugged the dragon even tighter and gushed. ?But he?s really cute!?
?And what if he manages to catch you??
Vanilla and Caramel burst out laughing.

[COLOR=Sienna][SIZE=1]Alex yelled over at Tsubasa,"On my mark...kay?" Tsubasa nodded his head and stretched his wings. Alex grabbed the reins of his stallion,"3...2..1..GO!!" He pulled on the reins and galloped off. Tsubasa took flight and soared at full speed.

Tsubasa laughed at Alex," How can you hope to win a race against a DRAGON, my dear [I]Alexander[/I]?"

Alex laughed as well, "Like this!!" He steered his stallion in front of Tsubasa. Tsubasa laughed even harder."Do you plan on blocking my path?"

Alex shook his head and untied his cape, "No...AHA! Specialty Technique! Blinding Cape!! " He let his cape go and it landed right over Tsubasa's eyes. Tsubasa landed and snorted, burning a whole in Alex's cape. Alex breazed right by the marked finish line. He then turned around and trotted towards Tsubasa. When he made it to the dragon he hit him with his sheath,"Stupid!" Tsubasa snorted again, almost frying Alex.

"What did I do to deserve that?!?" Alex growled,"1. You allowed yourself to be blinded, with...my..[I]CAPE[/I]! That was stupid. And 2. YOU BURNED A WHOLE IN MY CAPE!! Now I'm gonna have to go back to the cabin and get another." He turned his stallion around and bolted off,"Hurry Up!!"

Alex and Tsubasa made it their in no time at all. Alex brought his stallion into his stall, then brushed him,"Good job out there---" A yell from Tsubasa interuppted him. He closed the stall door and ran out towards Tsubasa. He spotted him by the front door of his cabin."Tsubasa, what is it?" Tsubasa nodded his ead towards a note on the door. He read aloud;[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Century Gothic]Alexander Lightwind,

King Orion and Queen Lillyana request your presence at the pallace. Would you and your dragon partner please arrive as soon as possible, it is an urgent matter. Thank you for your time.[/FONT] [/COLOR]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Sienna]Alex grinned at Tsubasa,"Well, my [I]dear dragon [/I] partner",him and Tsubasa chuckled slightly,"are presence is requested in the castle." Tsubasa lowered his head,"Well than, my dear [I]Alexander[/I], we should be off than. Shall we make haste?" Alex went inside, grabbed the saddle, and put it on Tsubasa. He then jumped on and they tok off into the sky. Alex laughed,"Taveling in style...Once you've traveled by dragon, there's just no other way." He grinned slyly at Tsubasa,"But maybe by horse..." Tsubasa snorted and spun around in the air, almost dropping Alex. Alex yelled between laughs,"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!!"[/SIZE][/COLOR][/SIZE]

Valo folded the letter and stuffed it in his pocket. ?Why would the King and Queen want us?? he wondered.

[Perhaps things are starting to happen again,] Angelus replied. [You haven?t exactly made your goal a secret. You?re a natural choice if things are once more beginning to happen.]

?Well, if things are happening again, then it?s certainly not a well-known fact. You know how much gossip I listen to. I know the most far-out rumors, and there?s nothing that concerns us.?

[That only means that nobody knows].

Valo nodded his agreement. ?True. We should go. If whatever?s happening does concern us, then I need to be there. I can?t take the chance that it doesn?t. Let?s go.?

[B]OOC:[/B] Sorry I'm late. I changed my appearance because the picture doesn't seem to work.

[COLOR=Navy]Saenia wiped sweat off her forehead with the back of her hand and grinned. She twirled an oak brown staff in her hands and faced her opponent. Her opponent grinned back at her and held his large blade at the ready.

"You're getting better, Ryo!" she said, using her nickname for him.

"Sure, you're just saying that 'cos you don't want to admit that I'm gettin' better than you." Ryojin smirked.

Saenia and Ryojin charged each other fiercly. They were pressed up against each other with his blade, and her staff locked together. They pushed with all their force, seeing who would give up. They both twisted out of the lock and backflipped away from each other skillfully and landed in crouched positions. Saenia held her staff horizontally and pulled at it, the staff slid apart to reveal the two blades that were hidden inside. They glinted in the early sunlight, reflecting the clear blue sky.

They got up from their positions and ran at each other again. Saenia slashed with her two blades, while Ryojin dodged and blocked. Then he used his large blade as a pole vault and jumped up, tucking his knees up into his chest and doing a somersault, his momentum freeing his blade from the ground. Saenia spun around but it was too late, he started slashing with his Dragon Blade, which to her and anyone that had to fight him was a cleaver. Saenia blocked with a flurry of her blades and let one go with the flick of her wrist. Ryojin saw the glint of metal and did a cartwheel to the side. She smirked, knowing he would do that and threw the other at where he was about to land before flipping off down the field to retrieve her first one. Ryojin barely had time to do an aerial flip and the blade grazed him as it went past. Saenia caught the other as it continued to slice through the air.

They faced each other again, slightly panting and sweaty. A slight breeze blew throught the field they were sparring on, ruffling the blades of grass and blowing their hair around. They were about to go for each other again when they heard a voice in their heads. It told them to go back to the house. It was their mother, using her powers to reach them. They got up from their fighter's stance and Saenia slid the blades together, making it a staff again.

"Good match, Ryo." she said, shaking her younger brother's hand.

Even though Ryojin wasn't her real brother, she treated him like one. Because before she had been an only child and was lonely. And then fate brought him to her family, the same night when Sideria came.

They walked back to their home talking about the battle. They saw their house and they went to it. Inside they leaned their weapons near the door and went off to look for their mother.

"Mom?" Saenia called.

Her mother emerged from the kitchen, drying her hands on a towel.

"Ah you're back. A message came for the both of you a while ago." she said, pointing to a sealed envelope on the table near the door. They walked over to it and Saenia picked it up, examining the seal. When she realised what the seal was, she gasped. It was the personal royal seal of the Kingdom of Celebrynn.

Saenia got one of her blades and carefully lifted the seal off so it didn't break, then she pocketed it. She unfolded the letter and read the cursive carefully.

Saenia relayed it to Ryojin and then they told their parents. Their mother quickly packed them some food and put it in a bag for them to carry. They thanked her and rushed out the backdoor to the stables. Saenia entered Sideria's cubicle and saddled her, telling her in a rush what was happening, while Ryojin did the same for Dryoga. They led their dragons out of the stables and closed the doors behind them. Saenia and Ryojin quickly mounted and within a matter of wingbeats, they were sailing through the sky towards the palace. [/COLOR]

[Redemption]

[COLOR=Purple]OOC: If any of you didn't realise, Gelgoog Pilot is King Ilthazar.

Brielle and Scythe flew along easily in the wind, watching the fields and towns fly by underneath them.
" Its a beautiful day today," Scythe said happily, enjoying the warm sunlight on his scaly body.
" Yes, that it is."

As they neared the palace of Celebrynn, a rider and dragon pair cut across Brielle and Scythe's flight path.
" Hey watch out!!!" Brielle yelled from atop her perch, but it was too late. At the spped Scythe was going, it was enevitable that scythe clipped the other dragon's wing. The other pair were sent into a dive, the rider falling off. Brielle heard the rider screaming the name of his dragon and vice versa. Brielle was about to prepare for a high spped dive when she noticed that the rider fell into a wagon of hay. She breathed a sigh of relief. Just then, she noticed Orion pacing in the courtyard and talking to the fallen rider. The dragon landed in the courtyard, collected its rider and took off again, almost collecting Brielle and Scythe again. They had to perform a magnificent roll to avoid another collison.

Soon after, Brielle and Scythe landed outside the palace and calmly walked in, waving to the servants and guards on the way. As soon as they entered the Great Hall, they were greeted by Kai, Brielle's brother. Kai was a little younger than Brielle, had short black hair and bright green eyes. He was fairly muscular and handsome. Lots of women were after him because of his status being the Prince of Celebrynn and his handsome looks. But he was a good man. Never a cheater or a gambler, always trying to do what was right, just like his father.
" Brielle, you're back! And Scythe too!"
" What do you mean Scythe too?" Scythe snorted in reply. Brielle shook her head. Kai and Scythe always managed to have some sort of arguement when they met.
" Ok ok you two. Knock it off," Brielle said. The three of them walked to the courtyard were Orion was pacing around. He glanced up.
" Ah Brielle, you're here."

Lionel and Styx were flying violently through the air trying to get to the palace as quick as they can.They saw a glimpse of the palace.

Lionel:Faster!I wanna see how fast you can fly!

Then a boost of speed came from Styx.Lionel was surprised he didn't even know the speed of his own dragon.Lionel was nearly blown off him by how fast they were going.Everything was a blur in Lionels eyes except the castle.That was his one focus.Before you know it they were at the castle.The sun beamed in their eyes,and they couldn't see and didn't want to hit the palace so the turned their direction around, crashing down to the surface.Before that happened while in the air Lionel fell off the dragon and fell on the top of a house.

"Uhhh...my head." Lionel said in a silent voice.He injured his arm.So he ripped off a peice of his clothing and used it as something to hold his arm up.

"Styx,where are you are you okay?" Lionel said in a worried voice.

He found him just outside the village.Styx wasn't hurt.

"Uhh....lets try not to do that again" said Lionel in a ashamed voice.

They walked to the palace on foot.When he reached there he pretended no one was there.He just walked by the gaurds and servants with out even looking at them.He didn't know the palace well.So he started searching around to see what the king meant by the palace was in danger.

A red dragon whizzed by on their right, missing them by an alley?s breadth. It was heading straight for the castle!
?I suppose that was Styx?? murmured Caramel.
?And wolf boy Lionel,? Vanilla added.
The pair hovered for a while and watched the red dragon and its rider dive as they struggled to avoid the castle.
?Oh dear? That?s the marketplace, isn?t it??
?Correction. That [I]was[/I] the marketplace.? Vanilla sighed and shook her head. ?The boy never learns. His dragon may be fast but his reflexes aren?t. Nor his wits? And with that, Caramel made for the castle. ?You?re too full of yourself, Vanilla. Someday, it will get the better of you.? Vanilla laughed and patted her dragon?s back ?Yes, I know. But I have you to make sure it doesn?t.?
Caramel snorted at her but she just hugged the dragon tighter.

[B]As they neared the castle,[/B] the rider straightened up. ?Hey, do you think Sir Valo will turn up?? ?You have been after him for half a year! If you can?t find someone for that long a time, he?s sure to be hiding from you. I?d rather have you tease Aceras than go after Valo. At least the former does seek you.?
Vanilla sighed. ?Yeah, whatever.?

[B]They landed [/B]in the courtyard and got the customary ?Hail, Dragon Rider!? from the palace guards. The lady rider led her dragon to the waiting royalty. When crowned heads came in sight, the dragon turned her head towards Vanilla. ?Why don?t you dote on Prince Kai instead, like every other girl??
?Because I?m not one of them ?every other girl?,? Vanilla snapped. ?And besides, I don?t go for royalty. They?ve a penchant for problems??

[B]At this point,[/B] the pair stopped. Vanilla bowed and Caramel lowered her mighty head. ?Glory to the Lord of this Realm in whom the blood of the great Celebrynn dwells. And glory to his faithful Lady through whom the stars shine here on earth.?
?Welcome, great Dragon and eloquent Rider,? replied King Orion in acknowledgement as Queen Lillyana gave her a graceful nod. Only then did Vanilla raise her head and turn to face the remaining three. ?To the Prince, upon whom the Hunter twinkles in the hours of darkness, I give my best wishes.?
?And to the Princess, tamer of the Spirit Dragon and dear guildsister to the Dragon Riders, well met.?
?And my regards to the Sir Lionel,? and she turned and winked at him. ?I trust that you are well??

[Heero Darkangel]

Heero and Cyrus Sin were once again looking down on the castle, there were alot of dragon riders with their dragons standing in the court yard

'It must be big why King Orion has requested other dragon riders,' said Cyrus

'Well lets go see what the comotion is all about...at least this time i wont get thrown out,' laughed Heero as Cyrus dived.

They landed out side the gate where the guards quickly drew their weapons

'Oh man,' growled Heero as Cyrus let out a deep loud growl which shook the ground

'We were requested by King Orion!,' snapped Heero as he held out the paper

The guards reviewed it then let him passed, 'Please excuse our rudness but we had to make sure,'

Heero nodded as they walked in, everyone stared at the both of them as they passed by other riders and their dragons, Heero frowned

'Hello again,' smiled the King as he walked towards them, Heero quickly backed up while Cyrus growled, 'It's ok I'm not going to do anything,'

Heero stared at the king for a few seconds and then slowly relaxed, 'It's..Ok Cyrus,' said Heero calming him down

'So what is your name?' asked the king

'My names Heero and this is Cyrus Sin,' spoke Heero as his face turned red from everyone looking at them

'Well Heero welcome to my home,' smiled the king,'Please follow me,'

They followed the King around to a garden out the back, Heero felt more relaxed now that they were out of the eyes of public

'I thought you may feel a little more at ease around here,' said the King as he sat down on a long wooden beach, 'please take a seat,'

Heero looked at him as Cyrus laid down behind Heero, Instead of Heero sitting next to the King he sat down on the grass and lent against Cyrus's huge foot

'So tell me, where'd you get Cyrus Sin from?' questioned the King

'He fell off the back of a wagon that was going through the forest where i live,' replied Heero with a raised eyebrow

'I see,' smiled the King, 'Did you know that Cyrus Sin was ment to be delivered to our special hatchery here in the kingdom, Cyrus Sin was the only one missing, I thought that he was gone for good until i saw you and him this morning,'

'Your not taking him away from me!, I wont let you!,' snapped Heero as he was ready to draw his sword, the king laughed

'I can't do that, once an elemental dragon has chosen their owners they're together for life and from what i can tell Cyrus Sin chose an excellent owner, but what i am requesting is that you and Cyrus Sin fight with us,'

'But i'm only a peasent,' said Heero looking confused

'In my eyes you are a great warrior after seeing you fight with my guards, the way you handled your sword was very impressive and the way you ride Cyrus Sin is amazing...especially without a saddle,' smiled the King, 'Please we need all the help we can get...there's a war coming and i fear it'll be worser than the last,'

Heero looked at Cyrus who cocked his head around, 'It is up to you Heero,' said Cyrus

'Well then...yes, we will fight with you,' said Heero

'Good...Thank you,' smiled the King at that moment a a young lady walked up to them, 'Ah hello Brielle,'

'Hello,' she smiled, Heero went red in the face but didn't say anything

'My names Brielle,' she smiled as she put out her hand

'Heero,' he replied not shaking her hand but looking at Cyrus, 'and this is Cyrus Sin,'

'I'm pleased to meet you,' she said

She noticed that the dragon was elemental and wondered how he got it but she didn't want to ask at that moment because she noticed that he looked uncomfortable

'He'll bejoining the fight,' smiled the king

'Oh good, we can use all the help,' smiled Brielle, Heero just looked at the ground with a red face

Angelus flew around the castle, and Valo spotted the King and two others in the garden. "Let's do this the unofficial way," he said. "Low and over the garden, then land."

"'Oh good, we can use all the help.' smiled Brielle. Heero just looked at the ground with a red face. Then, they both noticed a dragon flying toward them. The King saw it, too. All three of them were surprised when the dragon came in very low. A man jumped off its back and landeg a few feet in front of the King. He turned to face the King. "You called?"

"You must be Valo," King Orion said.

Valo nodded as Angelus landed behind him. "Correct. Oh, this is Angelus."

Brielle introduced herself and Heero. Valo turned back to the King. "Now, would you mind telling me why I'm here?"

"I would prefer not to have to say it multiple times," orion replied. "When the rest of you arrive, I will be glad to explain."

"As long as they get here quickly."

Lionel asked one of the servents where the king is.Getting tired of searching around.

"Go to the court yard,and go to Breille.She will show you where to go."said the servent

Then Lionel ran to the court yard to see another servent.

"Where do I find the king,and are you Breille?" said Lionel in a frustrated voice.Staring him down.

"No,I am just a servent.Follow me."said the servent.

The servent took Lionel to where the king is supposed to be.

"Nice dragon,you've got there" said the servent in a jealous voice.

"Just keep walking" said Lionel is a angry voice.

"Wait here.This is where he is supposed to be.You will find him here in a few minutes."

The servent left back to doing his work.Lionel started searching around to see if he can find the king quicker.He started walking around and saw a glimpse of the king in the garden.Then he started to run as fast as he could to the garden.Then he got out into the garden.

"Finally,I found you king."said Lionel in a releived voice.

"Ahh,your here Lionel,what happened to your arm?" said King while he was puzzled.

"I broke it when I fell on top of a house from riding my dragon to fast."replied Lionel

"Meet,Breille.She is a dragon rider too"

Brielle walked up to him and introduced herself.Lionel just stared at her not caring.
Then he introduced himself.

"So whats the problem king?" Said lionel eagerly

ooc: whats happening players, ive just joined this tread courtesy of its starter (sorry) ill put up my charecters stats in the inn.

rushing silently through the undergrowth sef tailed his quarry, the ambush had not gone as well as planed, two had escaped his arrows mykkael was pursuing the black dangshi by air which left sef to finish the red he had wounded. Even restricted to land, a grown dangshi was sure to be a handful, its powerful hind legs could propel it faster than a horse, hopefully it would tire out before long. Vaulting over a decaying log sef was reassured by a favourable gust of wind. the red was close. Sef marvelled at the agility of the red, he had loosed four arrows before the leading dangshi fell, with frozen shards petruding from its torso but the agile red had banked abruptly and the arrow only punctured the thick carapace of its wing, the spell extruded shards of ice through the wing, how it had survived the fall sef didn?t know. The black had seen the others fall and had spiralled left only to be set upon by the silver blur of mykkael. This momentary lapse in concentration nearly cost him dearly as a powerful tail lashed at his face, sheer instinct allowed him to raise waiu in time to block. But the force sent a jolt up his arm and sent him sprawling backwards hardly had he scrambled to his feet when the infuriated red belched a tongue of flame at him. Sef rolled out of the way but his legs were alight. Sef lined up with the creatures chest and opened waiu forcefully the rod shot forward crushing its ribcage. The red staggered back with a roar then charged at him, a lethal tornado of enraged fang and flame. Sef ducked as best he could twirling he pulled an arrow from the air and plunged it into the side of the dangshi, and in moments it froze solid with jagged spikes petruding through its skin. sef wasted no time in opening waiu into a staff and shattering the dangshi. It was an unreal sight as the solid ice burst into flame. Sef emerged from the forest still smouldering, his outer pants had charred to a crisp but his dangshi hide leggings were still intact.

ooc: a dangshi is a lesser dragon native to the Inga mountain province, only about 10 feet tall on its hind legs. it is more serpentine in apearance with spines and horns. they do not possess elemental powers and so are prone to magical attacks, however thier thick armour is as strong as a dragons and its agility if not its speed is superior to most dragons.

sef waited in the shadows of the large tree to the left of king orion, mykkael has opted not to come "insisting he did not play well with others" instead listened and saw through sef using thier mind link. sef saw through the young dragon's evasion, and knew he was shy of meeting a certain dragon named caramel. As yet still unseen by the congregation milling around his grand uncle. sef waited for orion to introduce his elusive grand nephew and relay his warnings of the live-amoured dangshi scouts sef had encountered on celebrynn's borderlands and of how celebrynn's safety was now in perril.

The sun was setting, the village was falling into a deep sleep. A young couple sat on a hillside watching for shooting stars. One passed and they embraced and kissed. Another passed, but this one was different, it seemed so close.

I had been, the ground shook with the fire ball's impact. THe young couple again embraced themselves in terror as the siloette of a giant beast was outlined in the sky. In an instant several more similar fire balls fell onto the hapless town. It came awake then, with the screams of terror. Men gathered in the square as the women and children ran for the woods. Arrows were shot into the air zipping past the Dragon and its rider.

"Shall we finish this quickly Zeddrick?" A low and almost sad voice sounded from the black dragon.

"Yes, Ragnrok, we'll finish this now" He whispered from the neck of the dragon, petting her gently.

The group of militia men huddled together firing arrows into an oncoming group of enemies. In an instant they were torn apart. Some still clutched in the talons of the black dragon. The 'special' forces ravaged the villiage, all of the women and children were rounded up and hauled away acroos the border.

Zeddrick and Ragnrok watched the village burn to the ground.

[COLOR=Purple]OOC: So Skillgannon, we're related then. Oooo that's scary!!!! Skillgannon is one of my friends from school if you wanted to know.

Brielle looked at her surregete (sp?) father, who looked back at her.
" Brielle, could you show the Riders and their partners to the Council Chambers?" Orion asked.
" Yes father. Oh, what about Sef?" Brielle replied.
" Ah Sef. Almost forgot. Riders," Orion started, " I would like to introduce you to my grand nephew Sef. He too, is a Dragon Rider."
Sef stepped out from the shadows and half smiled, although the serious look in his eyes never faded.
" Alright everyone, follow me," Brielle instructed. The Riders and their dragons assembled behind Brielle as she started making her way to the Council Chambers. Sef joined the group rather unwillingly. He wanted Mykkael at his side. But, with his dragon refusing to mix with the others, he had no choice.

Brielle and the Riders walked along one of the vast halls of the Palace, their dragons following closely behind. A voice piped up from behind Brielle's back.
" Why are we wasting time going to these chambers? And what is going on?" Vanilla's voice said impatiently.
" The Council Chambers is where the King deliberates whether or not to wage open war. And the answer to your second question I don't know myself," Brielle replied coolly. Vanilla crossed her arms angrily.

The Riders rounded a corner to see a pair of gigantic gold doors. Two guards stood either side of the closed doors.
" Open them," Brielle commanded, her voice full of power.
The guards gradually pulled the heavy doors open to reveal a vast rooms, enough to hold many more dragons and people than there were. In the centre of the room, a huge circular table was situated. Brielle turned to her fellow Riders.
" Take a seat guys and girls," she said casually. As they passed her, she smiled warmy to them, especially to Heero as he and Cyrus Sin passed her. The doors shut with a thud. Brielle took her seat at the north side of the circular table, ScytheWing sitting behind her.

Orion, Lillyana and Kai entered the room. Every Rider, except Brielle rose from their seats. Orion waved a hand at them.
" My Riders," Orion started, " We are all equals in this room. There is no need to acknowledge anyone's status in here."
This stunned the Riders as they slowly sat back down. Brielle smiled. Orion, Lillyana and Kai sat in the three empty seats to the left of Brielle. Vanilla shifted uncomfortably in her seat as Kai sat next to her. Caramel snorted in silent laughter behind her.
" Oh shut it!" Vanilla whispered angrily to her dragon. Caramel didn't stop.
Orion cleared his throat, making Caramel stop.
" Now. I have all summoned you here to tell you all of a major threat to Celebrynn's safety. The Hundred Year War ended 20 years ago but it seems that Ilthazar is not content with peace between our kingdoms. Sef knows first-hand at what he has done. Ilthazar has taken over many other smaller kingdoms. Ours is the only one that has resisted him and his evil ways. I have reports that some of the border towns have been attacked and burnt to the ground. Now I ask you to help the people of Celebrynn and protect them. Will you do this for me?[/COLOR]

Zeddrick's footsteps made a hollow sound as he walked down the marble hallway. He pushed the two oaken doors open and entered the vast throne room. There King Ilthazar sat along with the group of brigands from the previous raid. Zeddrick didn't bother to bow he was too angry at the moment to care for formalitites.

"Your highness...what is the meaning of this!?"

"Commander Kieler, whatever do you mean?" A polite smile of confusion, covering up rage.

"The location of the villagers...you never told me about that factory!" He huffed his fists clenched in white anger.

"You had no need to know about that Commander. It is of MY concern only...You have done your duty and have earned my honor, now I have several more assignments for you to attend to."

"Are these more people for the slaughter!"

"You've just overstepped yourself Commander...GUARDS! Take your Commander to the courtyard for his lashings...It will keep his mouth shut and remind him of his purpose. As for you...you've served your purpose..." He waved his hand, and several concealed guards rushed out, slitting the throats of the bandits. Only a few were quick enough to get to their feet, only to be struck down by crossbow bolts. Zeddrick stood stunned as the guards finished them off and two more drug him outside.

He gritted his teeth as the leather whip cracked agianst his back.

Heero looked around, he felt uncomfortable sitting in such a royal place, he moved slightly adjusting himself on the seat, he looked around again and noticed Brielle smiling at him, his face went red again as he quickly looked away...

'Is something wrong Heero?' questioned the Kings voice as he smiled and everyone looked at him

Heero shot a glance at the king as his face went even redder and he folded his arms across his chest and shook his head without any reply, he sat there as if normal to be red in the face. He hated the attention and was glad when the King carried on talking and everyone turned their attention back to him

Cyrus Sin groaned

'Shhh,' whispered Heero as he looked around and saw that Brielle was still looking at him, he could tell that she was focused on what the King was saying but he couldn't understand why she keep looking at him, he then egnored her and focussed on what was going on

Everyone agreed to the kings request. Heero gave a slight nod even though he had already told the King that he would join

'Now because i need all of you close by, you will all stay within the Kingdom, rooms have already been set out for you and your dragons, now Brielle, you will show them to their rooms, I need everyone to keep their ears open and not to wonder far from the kingdom just incase of an emergency,' said The King, 'and i need everyone well rested,'

Heero felt even more uncomfortable knowing that he had to stay in the Kingdom, being a peasent in such a beautiful place felt strange and what was even more stranger was the way Brielle kept looking at him, he egnored her...well tried, He then walked out into the garden where it was peaceful while everyone spoke amongst themselves

From the back of her mind, she heard Caramel?s voice. Every word the dragon sent to her was accompanied by a subtle sound of whistling breeze. This was how the Caramel spoke to Vanilla in times when matters are grave and she must converse with her rider.

The pair laughed madly, much to the surprise of the Prince who was seated beside Vanilla. She promptly stood up and shouted: [B]?Then let the trumpets sing throughout your realm! Celebrate, Celebrynn, for the Dragon Riders have returned!?[/B]

The pair was again in the garden, much against the wishes for them to stay inside. The flute Dulcet sang to those they met and they passed without much resistance. Vanilla brought out a bottle of Celebrynn wine and swigged a mouthful of the rosy liquor.
?Ah! Lovely!? She smacked her lips and offered the bottle to Caramel. The latter shook her head and declined. ?So, Caramel,? Vanilla started, as she swigged another mouthful. ?Are you related to that other silver dragon??
?Hmm? it is interesting you should ask. Though dragon hides come in but a few colors, silver is rare. Yet it is only second in rarity. It is surpassed only by gold and I have yet to see a dragon of that color,? the dragon explained.

?Which means nothing,? Caramel smiled. ?Now heed. Yonder is the boy Heero, who is deep in thought---?
?OOIII!!! HEERO!? Vanilla stood up and shook the bottle at his direction. ?Come have a drink with me!?

Heero looked up from where he sat under a tree next to Cyrus Sin, He frowned

'Looks as though someone wants you to join the festivities,' spoke Cyrus sin in a mocking tone, Heero frowned even more not at all impressed by Cyrus's remark

'HEERO!!! COME DRINK!' called the girl

Heero looked at her then looked away, 'Its the one called Vanilla and her dragon Caramel,'

'Your not going to join her?' questioned Cyrus

'I'm busy,' replied Heero as he went into deep thought again but was put off when Vanilla called again

'OH COME ON...IT"S MY BIRTHDAY!!!' she wailed from the other side of the garden

Heero tried to egnore her but she kept calling out, He then stood up walked over to her, snatched the bottle out of her hand and skulled the whole lot and gave her back then empty bottle

'Happy Birthday,' he said bluntly as he walked back over by Cyrus Sin leaving Vanilla and Caramel speechless

'He drank the whole lot...' whispered Vanilla as she looked at the bottle, 'there's only one thing left to do,'

'What's that?' questioned Caramel cocking her head to the side

'Grab another bottle of course,' smiled Vanilla cheerfully

Heero sat back down beside Cyrus Sin and lent against him, Cyrus was laughing

'Whats so funny?' questioned Heero looking up at the beast

'Just laughing at what you did,' replied Cyrus as they watched Vanilla disappear back inside

'Yeah well, she wanted me to drink with her so i did, I drunk the whole lot and in the process said Happy Birthday,' said Heero seriously

'I don't think she ment drink the whole bottle,' laughed Cyrus

Heero egnored the last comment and looked up at the sky, they could hear people cheering and laughing and music being played

"They're the ones waisting it. They're not doing anything. They're screwing around. And that Vanilla girl's the worst. So it's her birthday. Good for her. That doesn't mean she gets to order people around. If you ask me, she's going to be a liability. I think I like Heero, though. He handled that whole thing nicely."

Lionel was lying on Styx's stomach using Styx as a pillow.While Styx rapped himself around him.Lionel was listening to some riders conversation.He was really listening to Takuya's conversation the most.Lionel was wondering the same thing.But relaxing felt good to him.Lionel was also examining the other rider's dragon.

"Look at Heero,stuffing his damn face"said Lionel menacingly

"But its for the birthday girl" replied Styx

"It looks like that guys is a person who pays no attention to his dragon and only on himself.His dragon looks weak to start with.For some reason I just really don't like him."

"But this is your first time seeing him!" replied Styx in a calm voice

"Still,he stole my spot on that tree.If I didn't injure my arm I would go up there and start trouble.Then if he trys to fight back I will definently beat him to a pulp." said Lionel is a menacing voice.

"Well,looks may be deceiving.He might actually beat you." said Styx in a calm voice.

"What ever,I am going to get a drink."said Lionel in a calm voice.

He walked up and grabbed a bottle a bottle.Then he gave Heero a dirty look.Then he went back to his spot and layed down.

"He styx,want a drink?"said Lionel curiously

"No,I only like to drink very little water." replied Styx.

Lionel finished his drink and took alittle nap,and so did Styx.

Alex blushed and glared furiosly at his partner. He then turned around and walked briskly over to Brielle. He walked up to her and introduced himself,"My name is Alexander Lightwind. But my friends and that annoying dragon who keeps calling himself my partner", he shot a dirty look at Tsubasa, who merely flashed his teeth,"call me Alex."[/COLOR][/SIZE]
