OOC: It wasn't stupid cause I am posting now.

Brielle opened her eyes to feel a blanket over her. She stood up, grabbing the blanket before it fell off.
" Where did this come from?"
" Heero put it over you and said thank-you before," Scythe answered and he got to his feet.
" Oh...remind me to thank him later..." Brielle started before she heard the commotion of the other Riders training. " Well, they've become more enthusiastic!"
" Yes. And Valo and Lionel had a fight before," Scythe said.
" Those two, they're so immature! Can't they just get along with each other?"
" Apparently not."
Can no one post until I do? Thanks. Sorry i was away. I've been sick.
OOC: Extremly stupid. I hate to say it, but you might have just killed the RPG. Of course, I was recently in one that seemed able to survive anything, so I could be wrong. Oh, and Deimos, a couple things. First, I doubt that Lionel was as obsessed with his training/practicing as Valo. That's all Valo did for those 20 years. The only other things he did are eat, drink, and sleep, and I mean that literally. And I'm not exaggerating. Oh, and occasionally he'd travel, but always on dragonback, and never more than about an hour a day (he didn't want too much time taken up). So unless Lionel was just as obsessed, Valo would still be better. But you don't have to edit it so he wins. Flukes do happen, after all. The second thing is that Valo doesn't give up. I would like you to edit that, but Valo can still lose (Maybe have him on the ground and Lionel over him. Lionel jabs staff downward, but stops before hitting Valo's chest. Valo would have dies in real combat, so he loses).

Cyrus walked over to Heero with his head hung low

'Hey, you did well,' smiled Heero as he rubbed the beast's nose

'Maybe Lionel was right,' sighed Cyrus, 'I've let you down here and i'll proberly let you down on the battle field,'

'You know for a fact that you never let me down and that you never will,' smiled Heero, 'He is very experienced but he only got you by clouding your vision, I know what your abilities are and i know what you can do and what you will do..in my eyes you are strong at heart and in mind, to me your always a hero no matter what,'

Cyrus smiled warmly at Heeros words which he knew that Heero meant, Cyrus was proud to be his dragon and he was proud to have Heero as his rider

Heero looked around and saw Brielle standing with her dragon SyctheWing, feeling a little embarrassed as SyctheWing smiled at him, he quickly turned to focus on something else to stop him from going red, he saw Lionel and his dragon taking a rest under a tree, other riders were also chattering amoungst themselves, and Fireworks rose out of the kingdom as more cheers were heard

'Well lets go relax for a while and watch the display of fireworks,' smiled Heero as they sat down under a tree, Cyrus rested his huge head next to Heero as they watched the display

'Thank you Heero for having such a strong faith in me,' smiled Cyrus

Heero lent against him, 'You know i always will,'

Occ:thats what Lionel did too.He was forced to train from age 4-10 to become a dragon rider. Then he became so used to it he has become obsessed. Then he kind of found it fun.Instead of finding other ways to have fun he only trained with his dragon all day some times a full day non stop.Thats his way of spending time with his dragon. He only eat, drank, slept, and trained. He didn't want to disappoint his parents so thats all he did.But I respect all that you say.And I am going to put that. Also I am going to give you a special technique that you have that I just thought up.But since you said I could win I still am letting myself win. ^^

Brielle looked upa t the sky as it reddened.
" I suppose its time to send our fellow Riders to the Elusian Fields," she said sadly as her heart ached. Scythe felt her pain.
" That's the fate of our kind Brielle. We too will one day share it," he replied.
" Ah but remember Scythe, we are like the others."
" Perhaps."

As the sky darkened and night cast its eye over Celebrynn, a great fire was conjured in front of the Palace. Orion spoke his words. Brielle and Scythe watched on sadly as bodies of their fellow Riders were placed into the flames. Tears welled up in Brielle's eyes.
" I wish that this threat never came. Then the others wouldn't have to share this fate," she said, turning her back on the fire and entering the Palace.
" Me too Brielle."

They walked until they found their room. It was big enough to house Scythe and Brielle comfortably. Brielle moved over to her dresser, sat down on the chair and burshed her hair. Scythe curled around Brielle's bed and fell asleep. The moon, red from the smoke of the pyre, flooded the room with its light. Brielle now in her night garments, moved into bed, covered herself with sheets and soon was fast asleep.

((OOC:Takuya that was not needed at all. You have no reason to claim that this RPG would die because of that. Also...I'm getting tired of you're explaining the 20 years of training. We all read the bio and we all read your SEVERAL explainations as to why your character would win. Well put he has trained vigorously. Training alone cannot win battles I'm afraid, take note that we are ALL dragon riders, all skilled in combat. On the battle field training only keeps you in the fight physically. It is NOT decisive. Also...I'd appreciate not posting a little thing like that again without contributing to the story, unless you're resigning.))

Zeddrick knelt there, his head bowed low and his eyes peircing into the marble floor.

"You've failed...I expected more damage to be done than that. Perhaps giving you this chance to redeem your family was a mistake on my part?"

"I beg your forgiveness your Lordship." His left fist clenched tightly with hot rage.

"You do eh? Tell me Commander, what happened that you came back with your tail between your legs like a worthless mut?" He stood directly infront of Zeddrick, placing a dagger's blade against the back of his neck.

"The corrupted dragons were found out before they had their chance to attack. On top of that, the enemy had several battle ready elemantals. More than we had thought. They slaughtered the men and dragons. It seems that your new toys have proven obsolete." He stated in a cold flat voice.

"Hmph....you have YET to see the wonders of my new toys, those dragons were but babies, once we learn how to accelerate their growth even more, then those elementals will suffer. Funny, I knew the number of elemental eggs when that idiot king first found them. I made sure to trim down that number, it seems those have found there way to the palace. You are dismissed Commander. I'll expect you're immediate action on the following dawn." With that said he replaced the dagger in its sheath and walked back to the throne. His attention now on the group of harem girls attending to him.

Zeddick stood up and tromped off, his anger evident. He entered the stable seeking the comfort from Ragnrok.
"He's pushing me too far...We ended up killing more innocents in that battle. But I must get my family's good name back."

[Is that name so immportant to you? It matters not I'm simply talking foolishness. Don't fret, he's simply stressed out, defeats do that to leaders. Be happy that we made it out alive. That had been a daring attempt at your life.]

"Yes.....yes is was, it was quite interesting really, if the battle were not lost at that time I would have loved taking him up on his offer, but with you in danger and the remaining forces retreating...."

[You need not worry about me, I won't go off an kill myself, I have you to look after don't I?]

"Hahahahaha....Yes Ragnrok...you have me to look after..." Zeddrick laid down there and slept huddled next to his only friend.

Heero looked at Cyrus who was stretching his long body, he then looked back up at the stars, he began thinking of Drewell...the man who raised him when he was little

'Is ther something wrong?' questioned Cyrus looking looking at him

'Just thinking of Drewell and how it must of been like for him when he fought in the last war,' replied Heero

'I too often think of that,' said Cyrus looking up at the sky, Heero inhaled deeply

'Well we should get to bed,' said Heero, 'although i'm a little uncomfortable with sleeping here,'

'I too feel uncomfortable sleeping here but you need to rest to rest properly, we don't know what tomorrow will bring,' said Cyrus and they bgan walking across the grounds, they passed Lionel and Styx who were resting under a tree, Heero keep his wits about him while passing not knowing what he might do

Seven Riders were lying on the fiery platform of Celebrynn fir. Their weapons glowed bright red across their chests as the hands that held them blazed. Of the seven dragons that once stood near the platform, only four remained; three had walked into the fire, sat and burned silently. A foul stench rose from the bodies, overpowering the scent of smoldering wood. People approached the platform and threw flowers into the fire. And then they left.

Nine Riders wearing the force?s distinctive cloaks remained with their dragons. One of them held a bouquet of white roses and a bottle of wine. The Rider approached the pyre, opened the bottle and poured the sparkling pink liquor on the roses. A second later, the roses were set ablaze.
?I got you the best roses and wine I could find. Had the mind to drink half of this but then half a bottle isn?t enough for seven Riders, right?... I wonder how many bottles would they throw in if I was with you?? There, the Rider lingered. A silver dragon approached and gently nudged her rider.

Caramel? This is so sad.
[I told you not to come. Now you weep for people you do not even know.]

OOC: Maybe people have read the explinations, but you don't seem to have done so. If you have, then why did you make the battle between Valo and Zeddrick end so quickly? I post that multiple times to make sure that people remember (also note that I said Valo would probably win). When people start taking that stuff into account, I'll stop reminding everyone of it. Oh, and training/practice is not only physical. Valo's developed his abilities as well, and he also has some actual battle experience. Quite a bit, actually.

About my RPG dying out comment, I've been in RPGs that have died out because people ask others not to post.

Oh, Diemos, I'd like you to remove the part where Valo gives up. Valo never gives up. It's part of who he is.

Oh, one more thing, Gelgoog. In the future, we should probably confine our discussions and/or dissagreements (what the hell do you have against me, anyways?) to PMs.

-------------------------------------------------------

Valo saw Lionel assleep, and shook him awake. lionel was startled. He looked around, then saw Valo. "What do you want?"

"You don't go to sleep after a practice battle," Valo said. "You discuss the battle with your opponent. You get more out of it that way."

"I've never done that."

"And yet you're good enough to take me on. How long have you been at this?"

"I've been training, practicing, whatever you call it, for 24 years. I started at the age of four. eventually, I began to enjoy it. and I didn't want to... I'd rather not say."

"That's fine," Valo said. "I'm not going to tell you what happened to me. Tell me one thing, thoug. is it about vengence, fulfillment, pleasing someone else, what?"

"Fulfilling expectations, I guess."

Valo nodded. "That's what I thought. You've trained/practiced-you know, you're obviously used to calling it training, so let's just call it training for simplicity's sake-for twenty-four years, and for the reasons you gave. My reason is vengence. Twenty years ago, a few weeks before the end of the war, something happened to my family and I. I'm not telling you what happened, but I do know who's fault it was, who made it hapen. That man is Ilthazar. I'm going to kill him for what he made happen.

"Vengance is a more powerful motivator than yours, and I probably have more battle experience than you, but you've been training-I'm not comfortable using that term, but it's easier to use one term than two, and you're used to that on. So's everyone else, probably. so I'll use it-four years longer than I have. We're probably evenly matched, and the opposite elements certainly makes things interesting. When we have a rematch, I'll have to break out the dirty tricks. I have a few of those up my sleave."

Lionel yawned. 'Whatever. Now, can I pleese get some sleep?"

-------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Diemos, if you don't want Lionel to have said any of that, tell me, and I'll edit.

Heero walked passed the blazing fire of bodies and stopped, he remembered when they burned Drewells body...he remembered trying to get in to bid him fairwell but the guards wouldn't let him in...he remembered running along the top of the walls and then getting caught and thrown out

'You look towards the flames as if you knew them' came a familiar voice behind him, Heero spun around and saw King Orion who gave him a warm smile, Heero turned red

'No i don't know any of them,' replied Heero bluntly

'Seeing this reminds me of the last great war, so many men fell and so many bodies were burned and so many dragons, this is just one reminder of why we are doing this...hope fully when this war is over we wont do this ever again,' sighed the King

Heero, Cyrus and the king watched as people paid their respects with flowers, Heero looked around and picked a rose from the garden, the King smiled as Heero walked towards the roaring fire, he kissed the rose and held it out over the flames and let it go, it instantly turned to ash and floated up into the air

'Good by Drewell and thank you,' he whispered as he turned his back on the fire and walked back beside King Orion and Cyrus

'I thought that you didn't know them?' questioned the king

'I don't, but that was for the one i did know who died in the last war,' said Heero and they walked away leaving

The King just smiled and then carried on his way

Sef watched the flickering blaze solemnly, the remaining riders clumped, witnessing the emotional farewells from the victims loved ones. The newly formed band, stood silently at one end of the enormous clearing, Saenia, comforted by her brother Ryojin, stared transfixed at the pyre, Vanilla slowly walked from beside Valo in her own way showing the melancholy she felt, casting a rose into the flames and offering up a bottle of what looked like good hooch. Sef watched as a lage silver form comforted her companion.
He knew that every rider in the clearing felt for the fallen even though most had never laid eyes on them before today.
For Brielle he knew it was stronger, growing up with these people in the keep, she shared their trials and triumphs, the connection they shared, must have pained her like the cut of daggers. Sef himself had only arrived several months ago but had developed a deep kinship with one of the fallen, Xanthoes, a veteran who had been an able archer and tutor of wood craft, as well as an avid debater on skirmish tactics, Sef knew that the loss of the old codger was a loss to the world as were the lives of the others who fell.
But he saw that the tragedy had hit Orion the hardest, the mantle of responsibility weighed heavily on the monarch?s mind, his people had died valiantly for the kingdom, and he would never forget their bravery nor forgive himself for their deaths.
As Heero left the clearing, Sef rose and walked to the king?s side, saying nothing, he waited patiently.
?So much death? said the king wearily.
?What is on your mind, sire??
Orion gathered himself ?I need more warning, of attacks, this atrocity can not happen again!?
? I understand, sire but we cannot very well split up the riders to patrol every inch of sky on our borders, the enemy have a very capable young commander, he and his elemental dragon, I believe are more than a match for any one of ours, it is in our unity that our power lies. Perhaps teams of 3 would be enough, to spread thin without loosing airpower??
?Perhaps?
?Ill speak of it with Brielle, she holds a greater understanding of tactics, and would be able to choose suitable combinations? said Sef turning to walk to her.
?No, you can leave that till morning, ?the old monarch?s face softened ?she?s been through enough today?
?You, on the other hand can still patrol the border for any unusual activities?
?As you wish sire?
King Orion turned and strode from the clearing, leaving Sef to his own thoughts,
Sef was sweating profusely, from the heat of the pyre, whispering a short prayer to Sung goddess of death, Sef opened his eyes.
?Find peace Xanthoes. Find peace defenders of Celebryn?
His wounds were starting to itch from under the coarse bandages, the salve he had applied to the deep gash on his shoulder stung but was bearable.
?No rest for the wicked? muttered Sef
Winding through the trees and out of sight, Sef conjured a loose fitting grey poncho, over his brown tunic and leggings.
?Well that?s a fashion statement, oh well at least it?s real enough to keep you warm?
?Come on brother we have work to do?
Adull rush of wind signalled Mykkael?s approach, griping hard, Sef propped Waiu against the ground and opened it forcefully, the staff lengthened sending him 60 feet into the air, to land gracefully astride the dragons back.
?I thought I told you not to watch,? chided Sef
?I knew some of the dragons too, besides when have I ever listened to you??
Sef lost himself in thought, it was so easy to think of the enemy kingdom as monsters, devoid of feelings, but deep inside he knew that across the border the same morbid wails would be heard as friends and loved ones mourned the loss of humans and dragons slain by the ?monstrous? Celebryns.
A prickling on the base of his neck roused him from his wonderings; Sef turned Mykkael and waited for the rider following him...

OOC: About what? My calling amagoddess's "don't post" request stupid? Like I saud, I've seen that kill RPGs before.

-------------------------------------------------

Valo looked at the king. "Well, I have a few things to say about that guy's plan. First, that Death guy isn't any more powerful than any of us. His strength lies in his skill, which I greatly underestimated. Hr used that to his advantage, and it's a mistake I won't be making again. Also, we shouldn't split up. If I know anything about Illthazar, it's that he doesn't send small forces. Oh, and if you don't want any more attacks to happen, then I'll lead the group straight to the source of the attacks."

"You mean Ilthazar?" King Orion replied.

"Yes. Ilthazar. I know where to find him, how many men and dragons are probably at his castle, what their deployment is likly to be, basically everything you can know without being there. There are two things I don't know, however. One is how to get in by myself. I don't need to do that because we have a group. Thing two: there's something going on in that castle. I don't know what, but there are enough rumors floating around withing a 150 mile radius of Ilthazar's castle that something's definatly happening. Until we know what, we can't formulate an accurate plan. I am supposed to be getting some information tomorrow morning. I won't learn what's going on, but I'll learn how to find out. I suggest that we all remain here until I have that information, which will tell us what to do next. Now, I'm going to get some sleep."

Lionel just finished waking up from his deep slumber. He was thinking about his staff and how it did little damage,he was thinking he needed a new weapon.

"You know what I need Styx....A sythe." said Lionel calmly

"For what" said Styx curiously

"To do more damage to any enemies,I will get no where by trying to do damage with a staff.I am going to buy one now since we have town on our hands." said Lionel calmly

He put a saddle that was laying on the grass on to Styx back and flew high into the sky. They were flying into the nearest village to get to a black market. They flew into the village and landed with a big thump. The impact blew some people down to the ground. They searched the village for any black markets and found one near a auction. He walked into the black market.

"Do you have any large sythes"said Lionel curiously

"Yeah, just one in stock. If you want it,it'll cost 9 peices of gold."said the store cashier

Lionel handed the store casheir the gold that he took out of his inside pocket and hopped back on Styx. Then he flew back into the air.He was taking time sailing in the high skies getting a breaze then landed back into the garden.Luckily nothing important happened yet.Lionel lifted the sythe.

"Wow,its heavy" he wispered to himself

The wind started blowing furiously, leaves were blowing off trees, and the grass started silently rustling. Then Lionel started training himself how to use it easier.

?Hey, how about this?? Vanilla pulled out a dark green dress from a rack. ?What a lovely silhouette!?
?Um, we sell it for three gold pieces.?
?Wow? that?s pretty steep.?
?Of course. It?s the only dress we made in that style.?
?In that case, I?ll try this on too!?

~o~o~o~o~

?Ask me what I was doing these past 2 hours,? Caramel sighed as her rider finally left the store.
?Well?? Vanilla twirled in front of Caramel. She was wearing the three-gold-pieces dress. It was sleeveless, body-hugging and had a high slit down the right leg. ?Lovely, isn?t it??
?Don?t you feel cold in that dress?? And the dragon laughed at her own joke. Her rider, on the other hand, frowned at her.
?What, it took you two hours to think that joke up? Anyways, I?m done shopping.? Vanilla put on her cloak and led the dragon down the well-lit streets of Celebrynn. ?Where do you want to go now? Every pub?s offering beer at half-price!?
?Well, I think it is time that we went back to the castle.?
?Are you sure don?t want beer??
Caramel shook her head. ?Let's call it a night.?
?Whatever suits you, loves.?
As they soared above the city, Vanilla tapped the dragon and asked, ?Hey, do you Aceras will like this dress??

Valo noticed Lionel with the new weapon, and walked over to him. 'Not the best decision ever, Lionel."

Lionel stopped training and looked at Valo. "You mean the scythe?"

Valo nodded. "Yes. You don't have time to learn how to properly use that. Stick with your staff until this is over."

"My staff isn't very affective."

Valo chuckled. "then you're lucky we didn't do weapon combat yesterday. If you think a staff can't be dangerous, then you obviously don't know what you're doing with it. you hit someone hard enough with it, and you'll do damage. trust me. Your staff isn't that different from my poles. While neither of us will be removing any body parts, our weapons are still very dangeroug when used properly. Stick with the staff is my advice."

Valo looked up, and saw Caramel coming toward him. Vanilla was undoubtably on the dragon's back. "And here she comes again," Valo said.

Lionel didn't care about what Valo said.Lionel then staired at the beauty of the double headed sythe. It was all black and was very large. It was large because if he wanted to he can take off one side of the sythe so he will have 2 hand sythes that were very big to give him a big advantege on the enemies.Lionel then decided to take the sythe apart and train using the 1 handed sythes. They were very heavy because of the size.He raised the one handed sythe that the bright sun was reflecting off of and started slashing a tree to practice.

"Wow,this is hard styx"said Lionel exhausted

"This is how you trained with you staff anyway"said Styx calmly

"Your right, also when the tree is very messed up fix it"said Lionel calmly

Lionel then started attacking the tree again making deep slash marks showing that he was gaining alot of experience already. But not enough to beat any dragon riders yet.He slashed and slashed about for 2 more hours and the tree got real damaged and fell down.Lionel was sweating bullets and hair was wet.

"Ok *deep breath* Styx do your stuff"said Lionel exhausted and about to collapse

Styx's eyes were starting to over flow with a dark mist. Then the broken peice off of the tree floated on top of the stump. The tree got surrounded in a tornado of darkness and then the tornado lifted leaving a smokey mist. The tree was patched up and looked like it was never hit.Lionel took a minute to breath and started slashing at the tree some more and using some combo's he made up.

Zeddrick breathed in deeply. His eyes went wide with astonishment. Before him stood hundreds of dragons, similair to those used previously. These though, were adult, and big. Very big. THe size was only half the surprise. They were mutated further than the last, their carapace as thick as steel, and claws noticably were sharper cutting into the stone floors like butter.

"Well? What do you think? Are these not the fabled fighting machines from the legends!? I HAVE DONE IT! I Ilthazar have fulfilled the prophecies with my kingdom's strength! Well commander what do you think? Are these our tool into the heart of our enemy, or do you still believe conventional means are needed." THe king crossed his arms over his chest waiting for his minion to make the 'correct' answer. He didn't get it.

"This is what you created from all of those villagers? You used their energies to play God with dragons? These are monsters of pure evil, they will never win. The strength of the pact is missing, you're now just placing men ontop of mindless lizards. This is ridiculous!" Zeddrick had been trying to hold in his disgust, but his emotions overpowered him. He stood there with clenched fists, looking down and relising he'd messed up.

"You worthless lap dog! How dare you scoff at my genious. THese beasts are TEN TIMES stronger than my current dragon riders. The pact that you speak of is a weakness, riders and dragons being too causious in battle worring out there partner. THESE will go into battle with heartless abandon, riping the flesh of their enemies. And YOU my principaled friend will lead them. Also, don't worry about those villagers....their purpose has yet to be revieled....I asure you, when you see the rest of my plans you'll again become the 'Zealot' you once were." The king walked away still marvoling at the beasts he had created, perfectly secure in the fact that they were cold killing machines.

Heero awoke to the morning son rainning down on him, he had fallen alseep beside Cyrus on the wall

'Oh..man,' he groaned as he stood up

'You feel asleep, you looked peaceful...I didn't want to wake you,' smiled Cyrus

'In future...please wake me if i fall asleep on stone again,' Heero yawned as he stretched out, 'Now wheres a river or something?'

'Theres one beyond the Castle walls, it's surround by alot of bush so it'll be ok for you,' said Cyrus

'Good,' said Heero as he jumped onto Cyrus's back and they took off.

Heero quickly washed himself, he dried himself off and then put his clothes back on

'I need some more clothes,' said Heero

'Shall we go into town...you have money now, so maybe you should get you something,' suggested Cyrus

'Ok lets go,' agreed Heero

Landing in the town center, Heero slid off Cyrus and they walked around looking at all the stalls, he then walked into a clothing shop

'Steel anything and i'll skin you alive!,' growled the shop keeper, Heero frowned at the man and kept looking, he found a pair of black leather pants with a black belt,a pair of black leather boots with fur inside, a light brown leather vest and a full body lenght velvet blue cape with a hood, he tried them all on and they fitted perfectly, the pants wasn't to baggy which he liked, at that moment he walked upto the counter

'Thats ten gold pieces!,' snapped the shop owner as he steared at Heero with mocking eyes as if to say that Heero didn't have the money, he smiled wickedly and threw him ten gold pieces, the shop owner looked shocked as Heero turned on his heels and walked out

'THEIF!!,' roared the shop owner as he ran out into the streets after Heero, Heero turned around as everyone looked at him

'Dammit!!,' cursed Heero as he ran towards Cyrus as the shop owner and five others chased him, Cyrus let out a huge roar which made the men stop running, 'Cyrus no not here,'

Cyrus looked down at Heero, 'But they called you a theif,'

'I know but their are too many innocents around, not here,' smiled Heero as he looked back at the men

'You have an elemental dragon??' questioned the shop owner

'Yes I do, he's my friend,' said Heero as he patted the Beast's nose

'Are you one of King Orions Dragon riders?' questioned the shop owner

'Yes I am,' spoke Heero raising an eyebrow

'Then please pardon my stupidity, I'm sorry,' spoke the man sincerely as he looked down, 'I didn't mean to...well I thought...that you had stolen this money,'

'Don't worry about it,' said Heero as he jumped onto Cyrus's bare back and took off, Cyrus growled at the man as he flew over top of them and back to the castle

'Heero are you alright?' asked Cyrus

'Yeah,' smiled Heero

'By the way...you look very handsome in that outfit,' smiled Cyrus looking back at him

Heero just frowned as they began to land in the castle gardens

OOC: If people wish to continue their arguement, do not continue it through this RPG. Do it via PM. Thank you.

Brielle awoke to the warmth of sunshine on her face. She opened her eyes and looked out at the azure sky.
" A new day..." she whispered to herself before sliding out of bed, naked. Ever since she was a child, she had felt uncomfortable sleeping in clothes. She stepped over Scythe's tail easily, still feeling the pain from the loss of her fellow Riders, her friends. She soon was dressed in a flowing silver dress that was body tight, showing off all her feminine curves.

Steps on the granite floor outside her door caught Brielle's attention. A knock echoed through the room, waking up Scythe who pushed his head under Brielle's bed. She laughed and opened the door to find Kai at the door. He looked at her.
" Are you okay Brielle?"
She smiled warmly. " I'm fine. A little sad, but it is the fate of all Riders to die in battle. Or I hope that would be my fate. I'd hate to grow old in this world, wither away to nothing."
Kai wasn't shocked at this. After twenty or so years, he was used to Brielle's way of speaking her emotions.
" Good. The other Riders have slept in various places. That Vanilla girl, she's hot."
" Well, you'll have to work hard to get her."
" I know what you mean."
Brielle shut the door behind her, leaving Scythe to his restful sleep. The two walked down the huge corridor into the garden where they witnessed Heero just landing. Brielle left Kai's side and walked over to him.
" Thank you for the blanket Heero," her voice flowed like water. He went red in the cheeks. Behind them, Kai started sniggering. Brielle could hear this but she ignored him. Cyrus looked at Brielle, who smiled back. She turned her focus to Heero once again.
" You look very handsome in those clothes Heero. I like the look of black leather on you," Brielle said, admiring Heero's clothes. This time Cyrus started sniggering. Heero kicked him in the belly which made him stop.
" Well I see my compliments are not welcome here..." Brielle said, searching for a reply in Heero's face but could see nothing. Her eyes saddened once again before she walked off, heading for the Great Hall where the dragons whose Riders had fallen slept.

Once she had walked in there, all the dragons had woken immediately. She smiled at them.
" My poor creatures..." she whispered and gathered with them. She felt more comfortable in the company of dragons than most people. Soon, the group scattered as Brielle summoned the spirits of their Riders for a final good-bye. Brielle hated her gift she shared with Scythe, how she could call back the dead. Once she had tried to do that with her parents but with no avail. It was too long ago. After the heart-breaking goodbyes, Brielle walked back into the garden, waiting for Orion to come and greet her with news about the borders.

Heero saw Brielle walking in the garden, he went even redder as he watched her walk as if she floated on air, she looked beautiful in what she wore

'Why don't you go talk to her?' questioned Cyrus, 'Go on,' Cyrus nudged Heero who looked back at him as he slowly approached Her

'Brielle..' he choaked as she turned around

'Yes Heero,' she smiled,

'Your welcome for the blanket,' he said, 'You look really beautiful in that dress,'

She smiled as Heero's face went bright red and he looked away, 'Thank you again,' she smiled

'Ah....your welcome,' he said as he looked at her and gave her a soft smile then walked back to Cyrus who smiled

'You like her don't you?' questioned Cyrus

'Everyone likes her...whats not to like...she's beautiful,' whispered Heero still red in the face as he watched her

'Why don't you ask her to out sometime?' questioned Cyrus

'What!...No way...not in the middle of a war your mad...and besides I have nothing...I can't do it...such beauty isn't for one's like me,' sighed Heero as he looked down at the ground

'Heero...It could be good for her to get out for the day...you never know she may say yes,' smiled Cyrus

'And what if she says no..' sighed Heero as he slowly walked over to a tree and sat down, Cyrus looked at him and walked over and sat beside him

'And what if she says yes,' whispered Cyrus, Heero shrugged and watched her again then looked away

Suddenly, a large shadow swept across the garden.
Some of the Riders resting there seized their weapons and looked up. A brown figure alighted near the princess and faced the Riders. A merry voice called out from beneath the damp cloak:
"Tadah! I'm here!" Vanilla cast her russet cape off and looked around. ?And a good morning to you too!? She bowed at the Riders and the spears and broadswords pointed at her were lowered. When she caught sight of Brielle and her brother near the entrance to the castle, she smiled and bowed deeply.

Vanilla walked up to Brielle and clasped the princess? hands.
?Thanks for your help yesterday,? she said. The princess felt a cold object slip into her hands. Vanilla winked at her and smiled. ?A token of my friendship.? And she walked away before the princess could even reply.

Kai looked over her sister?s shoulder. ?What is it??
The princess opened her hands and held the item up. It was a small leaf-shaped pendant fashioned from gold and set with flashing emeralds that reflected the sunbeams as warm green light.

Odd,[/] Valo thought. She doesn't even seem to notice me. Well, that's good. Surprising, but good. Maybe she's getting over her infatuation. Probably just doing other things right now, though.

three palace guards led a man into the garden and brought him over to Valo. "This man insisted that we take him to you," one of the guards said. "He wouldn't take no for an answer."

"That's all right," Valo said. "I think I've been expecting him." He turned to the man. "A'ki'il vos li'ilo stoli"

"A'ki'il vos a'si'ilo asi," the man responded.

"He's the man," Valo said. "That was the code." He looked at the man. "We'll talk in private. Come on." He led the man into the castle.

"GO! The plan has been set in motion. The informant was fed the false information...They'll be expecting the attack to occur at the capital. HA! I love spies....so useful." The kings laughed a sinister and insane laugh as the cloud of Dragons dubbed 'Hell Bringers' headed across the border.

The black Death dragon swooped down, taking several guards off a nearby tower. Zeddrick laughed, it was his plan after all. At first the king wished to dispose of the spy, but a point was made to slip false information to him. He took the bait. Now the enemy was perparing for an attack that would occur and hours flight away, while they anticipated it on their capital.

Hahahaha! One hour for the report to reach their ears and another for them to get to us. This will be spendid. Once they reach us the trap will be sprung.

The city of Plenal fell easily, though Zeddrick had his riders hold off killing everyone of the guards, he felt comfortable letting the city think it was still in this battle. His dragon flight awaited the enemy reinforcements in the town square. The rest hid for the ambush.

If this goes well.....I could be over. Finally it could be over, and I could find my sister. And who so ever took her will pay by my blade...

"I'm counting on you Ragnrok...."

[As I you Zeddrick...]

Brielle smiled at Vanilla's retreating back and then looked at the pendant.
" Thank you Vanilla..." she whispered before going back to her room to get Scythe. She walked into her bedroom, looking for her partner but he was gone.
" Probably flying somewhere..." she said to herself. Brielle changed out of her morning dress and into some riding clothes. Tan leather pants and a black short sleeved shirt with a silver cape to which she pinned the brooch Vanilla had given her. Brielle walked back out into the garden to see Heero approach her. She noticed the red tinge on his cheeks and Cyrus's huge grin. She cocked her head to one side in confusion. Heero cleared his throat.
" Um......Brielle....." he started.
" Yes?"
" Would you......I mean if its not a hassle or anything...if we could go out sometime?" he asked, looking at the ground. Brielle smiled. She never thought Heero would have the courage to ask her out to dinner or something.
" Sure. When do you want to?"
" Um....tonight?"
" Sure. Where?"
" Do you know any good places?"
" Yes. There's a very good tavern in the city. We can go there tonight."
" Ok." He quickly walked back to Cyrus who gave Brielle a smile and a wink. She smiled back and went to find Scythe.

"Sir, the van guard approaches....It seems they think this force a minor raiding party. I doesn't even come from the capital city." The soldier saluted then left running away back to his formation.

So you take this attack for a small annoyance hmmm....I guess our rouge was too good. No matter crushing this force should draw out the REAL reason why I'm here. If not I'll have to take matters into my own hands.

Ragnrok took off souring twards the oncoming riders and their dragons. They first tow dodged his beast as he closed in on a red one, he raised his sword and with passionate fury he grug the blade along the side of the red Drake. It cried out as its fluids escaped its scaled body.

The rider held on as his companion fell from the sky.

Ah...this is why I like actual riders and their dragons....the connection. That is the way I wish to go when destiny reveals herself.

Another dragon plumetts from the sky, this time the rider screams in terror at the pain cause by the beheaded dragons death. He swong his sowrd to the left of Ragnrok catching a rider in the chest, his spear sticking into Ragnrok's side. She faltered only for a second as Zeddrick gently pulled out the weapon. He picked up a large horn and blew into it. In an instant a dozen dark riders (as they are called by their enemies) rose from hiding and finished off all but one rider. That one was let go to warn the rest. He went back to hiding. Petting Ragnrok for a job well done.
