[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=2]A salty breeze rushed passed his face as she gently rocked to the waves, the warm sun beat down on him as he opened his eyes, he sat up and looked around, running his fingers through his hair he realised that they had drifted into a harbour, one he knew well, rushing to his feet he ran upon to the bridge deck to grab the huge wheel, and spun it anti clock wise, he then pulled down the sails and let her drift towards the dock and then dropped the anchor

'Welcome to Evenil Harbour,' he whispered to her, 'where the drunk get drunker and mad get madder,'

The huge vessel shuddered to a stop, Heero then threw out the ropes and pushed out the plank and let it drop onto the deck with a hollow thud, he watched the dock crew tie her down before walking off

'Young Master......Heero...De...vellan,' chocked an old man sitting on the side fishing, he put his fishing line down and walked over to Heero

'Hello Old timer,' smiled Heero

'It is ye boy...I thought...it's good to see you lad,' smiled the old man with tears in his eyes, 'what of ye father?'

'Buried at see with... everyone else,' replied Heero with a sad gaze, 'I just managed to escape,'

The old man looked down and shook his head slowly then looked back up at him, 'He was a good man...a very good man but it's good to see you lad,'

'It's ok old timer,' smiled Heero

'So what brings you back here boy?' he questioned

'A crew...I'm looking for a crew,' spoke Heero as he looked around, the old man then looked at the devils rose and gasped

'Young lad...it's...she's....'

'What is it?' questioned Heero with a frown

Lad do you have any I dea what that ship is?' spoke the old man in dismay

'No but i don't have time to talk,' said Heero and he walked off, 'Look after her, I'll be back,' Heero called back to the old man, who looked up at the ship

'So you still live...' he smiled at the ship

Heero entered a pub along the water front where he always went with his father, everyone began asking him questions on what happened but he took no notice, he ordered himself a jug of ale and drank it down, the bartender he knew very well smiled at him

'Well lad, how you been?' asked the bartender

'Good,' replied Heero looking around, 'I'm here for supplies and a crew,'

'So she is yours,' smiled the bartender

'What is?' questioned heero, he forgotten how quickly news travelled around here

'The Devils Rose...many pirates are after her you know, they've been searching for her for many years,' smiled the bartender

'Why?' asked Heero as he skulled back the rest of his ale

'That ship holds many secrets...many secrets...to riches beyond your wildest dreams, adventures of the unknown...yes she holds them all, beautiful but deadly to those who don't own her...the thing also is that she choose's her captains and after all these years...she chose you...she's a loyal ship she is,' said the bartender with a smile, 'I'd be very careful...like i said many pirates are after her..not because of how strong and fast she is but because of the wealth she knows of,'

'You speak as if the devils rose is alive..' frowned Heero

'If only you knew lad...if only you knew,'
'Yeah well, i'm after revenge and adventure but right now I need supplies and a crew,' said heero as he stood up and left the bar....[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Ok now thats set, everyone needs to meet Heero while he's gathering supplies....

As he left, a girl walked right past him and nearly knocked Heero down. She stormed over to one of the tables where a huge man sat with his 3 lackey's beside him.

"You sold me a broken ship!!" she yelled.

"No madam, you [i]bought[/i] a broken ship." he corrected.

His men started snickering but were cut short.

"I demand you return my money at once."

"Well, you've got a lot of nerve. And you expect me to just hand it right over without a fuss."

"I'd rather that be the case, but I can draw it out of you if I need to use force."

"Really? You think you can take me and my men?"

"I don't have to take you anywhere." she quickly flipped the table over, spilling the drinks all over the men, and she drew her sword to the huge man's neck. "I believe that will be a hundred and five dollars." she said never moving her sword.

The man mumbled loudly as he removed his wallet and gave her the money.

"It's been a pleasure doing business with you boys."

She walked over to the bartender and handed him the money she had just recieved. "I hope this covers for the broken table and chairs."

The bartender looked at the money and smiled, "Well, I'm sure it will be enough for just that little lady. Thank you."

She smiled, "You're very welcome." she tipped her head to the men she just handeled and walked out of the bar.

"So you buy a ship without looking at it first?"

Katrina turned and saw a young man not much older than her leaning against the wall.

"A mistake I don't intend to make again."

"So you're in need of a ship?"

"What's it to you if I am?" she replied cooly.

"Are you in search of a ship, or just work?" he replied.

"Any will do. Why?"

"I think I have a job for you. Meet me at the harbor tomorrow. And if you like the ship I have, I'd like you to be a part of my crew."

"Sounds fine. By the way, how big is your crew?"

Heero smiled. "Just you and me for now." and he walked off.

[Akieen Cloud]

Vey rounded the corner as she shoved the last bit of bread into her mouth almost choaking.
"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE THEIF!"
Vey turned her head and stuck out her tounge.
"Ya gotta catch me first savvy?"
She laughed as the baker gave a frustrated growl. A nearby pedestrian grabed the back of her shirt as she blew pat.
"Hey let me go you scurvy dog!"
The person shook her roughly to quiet her but it only made her fight him more.
"Pillard bunk rat! I said let me go!"
She all of a sudden went limp in his grasp.
"Bloody hell...why is it alway the stronger ones that catch me?"
she twisted form the large baggy shirt and slipped out, the crude cut white shirt framing her and showing her midrift. She looked up at Heero and frowned.
"Hmph, yer no older than me...whats ye name?"
Heero arched an eye brow as the baker round the next corner and began asking people if they had seen her.
"Old bliter... oy, ye think ye hide me...just for a round?"
He looked at her funny.
"Please?"
He nodded and she his behind the corner. He led the baker in the other direction and looked at her.
"Your pretty crafty...you needa job or a ship?"
"Sure...when do ye need me?"
Tomarrow meet me at the dock."
"Got it sailor. See ye than savvy?"
Heero nodded and left with Vey looking for more food to pilfer.

[Galvatron]

The infamous Jericho Inblade had already got himself with a master sowrdsmen and know was going to pay for his mistake.

" Hey, hey can't we all just get along with out getting into one giant brawl ? " said Jericho as he shruged his shoulders.

" Don't take me as a idiot boy, just pay off the debt and I won't hurt you." said the swordsmen

" What did I do ? "

" Let's see you managed to shoot up some priceless paintings of myself, I waited months for those paintings ! "

" Oh those paintings, okay well .....bye." said Jericho as he ran for it. Jericho Inblade ran as he quick as he could, Thud ! Was the sound of impact as he ran into Heero knocking both of them down. Jericho got up and dusted himself off as helped Heero back up.

" Sorry, about that. My name is Jericho Inblade and i'm very sorry, I don't want any trouble."

Heero looked at Jericho awkwardly as he tried to figuer him out.

" Apology accepted Jericho , I will not give you any trouble."

" Oh thanks , I can't afford any more trouble, pepole are jealous of my marksmen skills with this pistol." said Jericho.

" Your good with a pistol huh , are you working as of late." asked Heero

" No, i'm not working, why do you ask."

" I need a crew and a skill such as yours could help, intrested ? "

Jericho stood there and gave it some thought.

" Sure why not, I need to escape this harbor."

" Meet me here again tommarow , by the way my name is Heero."

Jericho saw this as a perfect chance to escape his trouble with the master swordsmen and countless others.

Katrina was walking home when someone bumped into her.

"COME BACK YOU SCUM BAG!! YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!!!"

She looked at the little weasel and instantly recognized him.

"You!!!!"

"Oh Crap, this isn't my day." Jericho sighed as he tried to run.

"Get back here you worthless Bum!! You owe me money!!" she yelled at him.

"Where did he go??" screamed a fellow.

"He couldn't have gotten too far, he's got to be around here somewhere."

Jericho glanced back and looked at Katrina. "Come on Lady, get out of my way already. I promise I'll pay you back."

"Tell me when and I'll make sure they don't find you."

He swallowed hard trying to think of something. "How about tomorrow at noon?" he said. He knew he'd be gone by then. It would be perfect!

"Not good enough. I want it at 6:00 am tomorrow at the bar. Be there, or I swear I'll kill you, Jericho."

"Fine, I'll be there. Just get them off my tail." he ran full speed over the south wall. He wasn't going to meet her tomorrow. He'd be gone an hour later. And then he'd be rid of this place once and for all.

Two men came running from around the building. "Have you seen a no good kid coming around here?"

"You mean Jericho? That idiot, he went that way." she pointed North.

"Thanks ma'am. Much obliged."

"Think nothing of it," she said as she walked into her apartment. "He just better be there tomorrow. I'll hunt him down if he's not."

[Heero Darkangel]

Heero walked along the docks looking for the supply booth when he a whole heap of voices coming from behind a huge shed, He walked around to find an auction going on. Making his way through the crowd he stood infront of a stand where they were auctioning slaves, he felt disgusted. He looked up and just about choaked when he saw a man who he knew very well chained down, This man was a very close friend of his fathers, he stood at 6 foot 8, Bald, dark skinned, very muscular, strong and broad shouldered, but he was one big softy when he wasn't fighting.

Anger built up inside Heero as he stepped out from the crowd

'Let him go!,' roared Heero, the auctioneer looked down from his pedistal and raised an eyebrow while the chained man looked at him in disbelief

'And are you willing to pay for him?' questioned the auctioneer

Heero pulled out a bag of gold and threw it hard at the auctioneer knocking him off the pedistal, the auctioneer rubbed the bump on his head and looked inside the bag

'Good doing business with you lad,' smiled the auctioneer, Heero drew his sword and aimed the tip of the blade at the mans throat

'Don't ever smile at me,' snarled Heero, 'Now let him go!,'

The auctioneer signalled to a man holding a set of keys, he unlocked the chains and Heero put his sword away, the dark figured man slowly walked towards Heero and followed him away from the crowd

Heero then stopped and turned to the man who had tears in his eyes

'Heero it is good to see you lad, thank you for that' said the man as he picked up Heero and hugged him tightly crushing his mid section and then put him down, Heero felt dizzy and took deep breaths trying to get his wind back

'It is good to see you too Cliff Raiden,' gasped Heero forcing a smile, 'But just don't hug me again,'

'I heard that you were all dead..' questioned Cliff

'They all are...including my father...I survived, i wondered if you'd be here,' replied Heero looking out across the sea

'I'm sorry to hear that, your father was a good man,' said Cliff as he blinked back the tears, 'So how'd you get here?'

'I have my own ship, I came here looking for crew and supplies and i'm going to avenge my fathers death,' replied Heero

'Well you can count me in lad i too want to hunt the dogs who did this to your father and after what you did for me, I owe you my life,' smiled Cliff

Heero looked at Cliff, 'you don't owe me anything, but i would like you aboard...Thank you,'

'So how many crew members do you have?'

'Well so far three and with you four,' said Heero looking around, 'and we leave tomorrow at noon,'

'Good,' smiled Cliff

'But right now i need supplies,' said Heero

'I know where you can get some, follow me,' said Cliff and they walked off along the dock

[Galvatron]

" For crying out loud everyone is after me today." said Jericho as he gasped for air after so much running. Looking in every direction taking in all of his surroundings , Jericho decided he could walk safely. Suddenly he stoped in his foot steps and quickly turned around.

" So have you seen that no good Jericho around ? " asked a skinny tall man.

" No, I have not seen him in a long time." replyed an short fat person.

Jericho thought it was clear sailing as soon as he lost the two brothers, knowing his luck he would end up running into some one else. Jericho continued to walk , he decided if he could make it into the bar across the harbor he would be safe.

" Finaly I made it with out any trouble, I hope Vick can help me out."

Entering the bar Jericho looked around to see if his buddy Vick was working. Lucky he was that Vick was working now. Jericho walked up to the counter and talked to Vick.

" Hi Vick , I was wondering if I could..." Jericho was cut off by Vick durring his sentence was done.

" Sure go in back Jericho , when will finsh the trouble you start." Grinned Vick.

" Don't worry old man tommarow this will be all over." smiled Jericho as he walked into the back room to hide untill tommarow.

OOC: I don't know where dead Alice Is so i'm setting sail ( i've sent her a pm)

The next day the dock hands loaded the supplies with the help of Cliff,

'Little Captain, where'd you like this crate?' questioned Cliff picking it up and hoysting it upon to his shoulders

'Cliff call me Heero, not Captain,' smiled Heero as he pointed to the opened cargo doors on the deck off the ship

He watched Cliff walk down in the cargo pit and then come back out,

'She's a beautiful ship,' smiled Cliff

'That she is,' said Heero

At that moment there was alot of shouting coming from the docks, Heero and Cliff looked over the side and saw Jericho and Katrina argueing, Katrina held a dagger to Jericho's neck

'You owe me!,' exclaimed Katrina, 'You were ment to meet me and boy if you don't pay up i'll tear your god damn heart out!,'

Heero stormed down the ramp with Cliff right behind him, he grabbed the dagger off Katrina

'Hey!!!,' exclaimed Katrina as she turned around to find Heero glaring at the both of them with a raised eye brow,

'If you two are going to kill each other do it now so i can find two more crew members before i leave at noon,' growled Heero not looking at all impressed

'He owes me money!!,' exclaimed Katrina

'If you two don't stop fighting around the cargo you'll both be paying me money!,' snapped Heero as he threw the dagger at the dock between them and they both jumped, 'Now if you two have finished playing there's work to do if your coming aboard my ship,'

Heero then grabbed a crate and threw it at Jericho who caught it but stumbled backwards, Katrina laughed until Heero did the same, Heero picked up a crate and carried it aboard, Katrina glared at Jericho as she carried the Crate aboard, they stood on the deck looking around

'Man this babies huge,' smiled Jericho

Katrina walked around the ship, 'Man she's a beaut,'

Heero stood leaning against the mast pole, 'Glad you both like her, your rooms are on the second lower deck from the top, but you can take alot around after the cargoes loaded, by the way this is Cliff Raiden,' they looked at the tall man who stood next to Heero

'Pleasure to meet you,' smiled Cliff

'Nice to meet you too,' said Katrina and Jericho

Heero walked down the ramp and saw Vey standing by the cargo

'Reporting to be imported,' she laughed, Heero frowned

He picked up a cargo box and threw it to her, 'Start by importing these onto the ship,'

'Ai Ai Captain,' she smiled

'Don't call me that,' he growled, she just smiled again as she went aboard, Heero followed after her
and introduced her and they all began loading the cargo

'Man you can have a huge rage on here and still have room to fight,' said Jericho still amazed by the huge decks, Heero stood on the main deck up by the wheel, he was checking the time by looking at the sun, it was noon, He grabbed hold of a rope that hung down and he swung down to the deck below where the others stood looking around

'Hey can i have i turn?' begged Jericho, Heero pushed the rope over to him and he ran up to the main deck and swung down, 'Cool,'

Heero laughed then his face turned serious, 'Well lets set sail, maybe we'll find more crew along the way I don't know but i want to get out of here,' said heero

Cliff pulled up the ramp with ease, while the others pulled up the anchor and Heero spun her around as the sails dropped and slowly they drifted out of the harbour

'Good bye you wankers!!,' called Jericho as a heap of men ran to the end of the docks and began cursing his name, Heero laughed as Heero let down the three huge sails which filled with wind and the ship flew across the water as if to be flying

[Akieen Cloud]

Vey was hanging off the stern of the ship, her bandana gone so the wind ruffled her already messy balck hair. She turned and gave the rest of what little crew they had a huge smile and looked up. Her eyes got over bright with excitment and she took a running leap and latched onto a rope and begun t climb up to the top of the mast.
"WOW! You can everything."
"Get down here! There's work to be done!"
"Ai Ai mon capiton!"
"Don't call me that!"
Vey laughed and returned to doing her chores. Katerina looked at Vey and frowned.
"You act like a child."
"So? I live longer."
She heard Cliff chuckle and smiled.

[Vash IDK]

After the immediate work was done, she decided to take a look around the ship. It really was a beauty. She went over to her quaters and looked at all the space. She sat down and laid her dagger next to her. It had been a while since the last time she was at sea. She didn't have any trouble getting use to her sea legs.

"Wow.... this is GREAT!!" Vey commented as she came inside.

Katrina put her dagger away and walked past the girl.

"Sorry mate, where's my manners, I'm Vey, and you're...."

"Katrina." Katrina said without turning.

"Well it looks as if it's just you and me in this here room. Where do I sleep?"

"Go ahead and pick a spot. I'm not partial to an paticular bed."

Vey's eyes lit up as she laid on every single bunk in the room.

Katrina couldn't help but smile. "What are you doing?"

"If I'm going to make he best decision, I have to test out every single one of them. Just to be sure."

Katrina shooked her head and smiled.

At that moment, Jericho came walking by. "Hey, the ladies quarters, looks like I'll have to walk this way more often. I'll be making my rounds, so I hope you ladies will be decent." he laughed as he walked in. His face got serious. "That's not right. Why is it the women always get the most room?"

Katrina shook her head and turned, sh didn't want Jericho to see her smile at his comment. She was still upset with him.

Well... sort of...

"We get the nicer rooms because we ARE women. Now get going, I'm trying to decide which of these bunks I'll have for mine." she looked at the beds intently as Katrina turned.

"What seems to be the problem?" she asked

"They all feel the same."

Katrina laughed a little. "Well what do you expect?? They're BEDS for crying out loud. Just pick them by location if not comfort."

Jericho laughed as he still leaned on the door frame.

"How long are you going to curse us with your presence Inblade?"

"Until I recieve an apology." he said with a smile.

"An apology? Alright, I accept your apology. Now you can leave."

He laughed again. "I mean from you Katrina. My throat still hurts."

"yeah, well tell that to my wallet, and see if it has any sympathy for you."

I GOT IT!" screamed Vey.

"You got what, girl?" said a startled Jericho.

She ran to the bed where Katrina sat. "I'll have this one mate, much obliged." she smiled.

Katrina smiled as well. "Sorry, this one's taken, you took too long."

"Then I'll sleep right here." she climbed to the top bunk and put her head on the pillow.

"Tell the Captain I'll be up later," she said jokingly.

Katrina laughed again. "I'll try to tell him that as he's thowing you overboard."

Vey laughed as she closed her eyes for a bit.

[Heero Darkangel]

Heero grabbed hold of the rope and run off the main deck he swung right around and grabbed another rope which took him to the top, he stood in the crows nest looking around, it was beautiful, he smiled at the rolling waves and endless sea, grabbing another rope he then swung down from the top, Cliff watched Heero land on the deck and smiled as it reminded him of heero's father

'I see you've mastered it well,' smiled cliff

'case of having to when your father....' Heero's voice trailed off as he walked to the side of the ship and looked down at the water, 'I miss him,'

Cliff walked up to Heero, 'I know you do lad, but he has taught you well, so don't forget that,'

Heero looked at Cliff, 'There is never a day when i don't think of him...but...I know he is here,'

'That he is, i see him in you lot so i'd be careful of the women,' laughed Cliff

'Very funny,' said heero not finding any amusement in that comment as he raised an i brow at cliff

Cliff then looked around the ship and smiled

'So where are we off to?' questioned cliff

'Where ever the maiden takes us,' laughed Heero as he went back up to the wheel, Cliff watched the boy as he stood by the wheel looking out at the sea, He had grown up fast and his attitude seemed alot older than his age,

'Your father be proud of you lad,' he whispered as he turned his attention out at see

[Akieen Cloud]

Vey was up and about in little than 2 minutes and wondering around trying to find the kitchen.
"Man doesnt this place have a mess hall or something?"
Cliff walked down and laughed.
"What seems to be the problem little one?"
"little...yea, I'm starving and there seems to be no food here savvy?"
Cliff smiled and nodded, he motioned to her to follow him and she did obediantly.
After eatting she walked back up to the deck, now full she acted somewhat mature and older.
"This really is amazing...I wonder how he came upon this particular ship..."
She looked up at Heero standing infront of the mast and smiled, she ran for the stern and poped up infornt of Heero startleing him.
"HI! whatcha doin?"
"Nothing."
well thats apparent...whatcha doin?"
"Nothing."
"Yea, we got that...what are you doing!?"
"I'm looking at the water happy?"
"Yup, thanks. Look I know that I may be immature and not listen well. But you can count on me for the tought things. I know how to get ouuta a jam if ya know what i mean k?"
She gave Heero her best smile and ran off once she spotted Katrina .

"Hey Katrina!!"

Katrina smiled. She was starting to like the girl. "Hi Vey, what have you been up to?"

"Eating to my hearts content. Oh, and don't bother the Captain-er, I mean Heero. He's busy looking at water."

Katrina laughed as Vey walked off.

She walked up to where Heero was standing and leaned against the side. "In all the setting up, I never got to ask you where we're heading off to." she said as she looked at Heero.

Heero didn't avert his gaze over the water.

"We're going wherever the wind takes us." he said

"Well that's a little vague. I was hoping for a bit more detail."

He was quiet for a while. "We're out on the sea looking for treasure."

"Do you have a map? Any idea where this treasure is?"

Heero looked at her. "Well you're one for questions. How about answering a few of mine before I go on."

Katrina nodded. She knew he was hiding something, but it was only fair that she answered his as well.

"First of all, how much do you know about life out on the sea?"

"I lived on a pirate ship for 2 years of my life. There, they taught me every job, from sails to cannons."

"Family trade? Working on a Pirate ship?"

"No, something more along the lines of falling into the business."

"Now you're being vague." he said with a smile

"No, I just don't feel like explaining my life story right now." she said as she looked him straight in the eye.

Heero nodded as he looked up toward the sea. "Well, then you can understand why I'm being vague as well."

[Akieen Cloud]

Vey walked around the deck sining an off version of B-I-N-G-O.
"B-O-R-E-D, an that o yes is what I am now...hmmm a weird looking dorr to who knows where...looks intresting."
Vey shifted from where she was heading(no where by the way) and went to the door. She looked around and hopped in.
"WHOA! wonder if the captin knows about this place...to tell or not to tell....tell."
Vey jumped back to the decka nd called the captin over.
"Hey Cap...Heero! Over here think I found somethin!"
She droped back down amoung the assortment of pappers and boxes. She looked up as Cliff, Heero, Katrina, and Jericho looked in on her. Jericho smiled.
"Congrats, you found the cargo hold."
Vey flushed crimson.
"I know what a cargo hold looks like you ass! I DID grow up on a ship. And THIS is no cargo hold...what do you think captin?"
Heero looked at her.
"It's Heero and I dunno."
Vey rolled her eyes.
"So cool headed."
Cliff smiled and walked away with Jericho.

[Galvatron]

" So tell me, why dose every one dislike you ? " said Cliff. Jericho looked at Cliff and chuckled softly as he found a response.

" Well pepole can't take me serious you know. I have a fun game of cards and someone end's up taking it serious. Once in a great I get some lucky streak going then bang ! Just like that one persons sends me on a lossing streak. Pepole need to relax around me or else they end up to hate me." said Jericho as he smiled.

" I'm going to clean out my bunk before some one tries to kill me." said Jericho, soon after he was making a theme song for him self that mostly glorified him.

[Heero Darkangel]

Heero jumped down beside Vey,
'hang on...this is like some kind of treasure room...but not the kind thats filled with jewels or diamonds but it's kind of like a place where the captain of the ship keeps all his most valued belongings,' explained Heero, 'Vey help me clear out all of this and we'll take alot properly,'

'Yes Sir!,' she smiled

Heero frowned at her

'I know...I know it's Heero,' she smiled

They cleared out the room and all sat on deck going over what they found, Heero then found the two captains log books One was the tale of Devils rose and the other... was filled with a story of the Revonair Treasure

"whats the Revonair?' questioned Vey as she sat down beside Heero

'If i remember rightly, Revonair was one of the most ruthless pirates around, he stole that much gold and jewels but noone knows where it is, pirates have searched everywhere but they could never find it and looks as though we have the key right here,' explained Heero looking at the others

'Do you think this ship belongs to Revonair?' questioned Katrina

'No, Revonair owned a ship called Calesterina Ghost, I heard that she was beautiful but it was sunk along time ago...now who ever owned the Devils Rose...we'll find in here,' smiled Heero as he held up the other book

'Oh Goodie!!!!,' exclaimed Vey as she got comfortable, 'Read It!!!,'

Heero looked at her with a deep frown

'Oh come on grumpy,' she smiled, everyone laughed and Heero smiled as he opened the book

'Well it has no dates...but lets see: " At last i have built her...The Devils Rose...as she will be known...many will stare at her magnificent beauty but many will die by her thorns, she'll ride the waves on the wings of wind that will carry us to victory over these waters, I built her by blood and sweat from my own two hands and i rose as Captain Ravern", spoke Heero as he looked down on the book

'Now thats not much of a fierce name,' said Vey looking at Heero

'Actually...that name was feared by alot,' spoke Cliff as he walked over by them

'What do you mean?' questioned Heero

'When i first saw the Devils Rose, I knew i had heard it somewhere and now hearing the name I've come to remember,' replied Cliff

'Well what is it?' questioned Jericho he walked up from below after over hearing what everyone was talking about

'Well Captain Ravern was the one who struck down Revonair with the Devils Rose that might of been how Revonairs Log book became apart of this ship, you see Captain Ravern was very cunning and far too clever, his strategic mind went beyound any others, and his skills as a fighter...well lets just say noone dared to challenge him...if i remember rightly he treated this ship like how he treated women...and it wasn't good,' explained Cliff

'So if he was SO clever then what happened to him?' questioned Vey

'She destoyed him,' replied Cliff, 'The Devils Rose destroyed him, they had stopped to celebrate their victory over a small town they plundered, they raped the women and killed their hausbands, the sky was filled with stars and there was no breeze at all and the sea was calm, as they were drinking themselves stupid somehow the ship...she turned, she dropped her sails but instead of going forwards she went backwards into a huge rock...'

'And thats how she ended out with a massive hole in the back,' spoke up Heero not knowing that he had spoken out loud

'Thats right,' agreed Cliff Heero looked at him with a raised eyebrow, 'But the thing is....she sunk with the crew, because they were too drunk to swim she swollowed them when she went down and caused a massive undertow, they were all found two days later dead but the ship...she was ment to be at the bottom of the ocean,'

'So where did you find her?' questioned Vey

'Thats just it, I was washed ashore on an Island which was never on the map, and thats where i found her, she was up right lodged between two rocks,I saw the hole and I fixed her up it took me two months but i did it,' replied Heero looking down at the book

'Well then Heero, looks as though the story is true...' smiled Cliff

'What?' questioned Heero looking confused

'Well the saying is, she choose's her captains...and looks as though she chose you or else none of us would be standing here right now...you see written in the sand next to Ravern was a message in blood which said...I'll find him, the one who deserves, to ride on the wings of the wind, He'll be not like you, the one a chose, to own me...The Devils Rose,...it's sad but very true,'

'Now thats freaky...how can a ship write in the sand?' questioned Katrina

'Well for years everyone tried to figure that out but noone figured it out, like i said The Devils Rose had enough,' said Cliff as he smiled at Heero, Heero just looked down at the book and ran his hand over it and smiled

They had all retired to their quarters that night. Vey had to sing herself to sleep which made Katrina even more restless that night. She was still thinking about the journal they found, and what Cliff had told them all.

"She chooses her captains?" she thought to herself. It didn't seem real. The Rose had only been a legend.

Until now.

Katrina had just found a bit of sleep when she heard Jericho yell from the main deck.

"THERE'S A STORM AHEAD!! MAN THE DECKS!!!!"

Katrina got up as soon as she heard the call. Vey was awake as well, and had this serious demeanor that she found most unusual.

"Do you know the nature of the storm?" she called to Jericho.

"I can't tell yet, no lighting as far as I can see. A pretty nasty winds a blowing from the direction where headed to."

Heero was up steering the ship. "WATCH THE SAILS!!" he called as he tried to ease the ships passage through the storm.

Katrina ran up to the masts and started tying the ropes down to keep the sails from flying up.

Vey ran to the otherside and followed suit.

Jericho was on top the masts trying to keep it down, but the ropes threw themselves free.

At this, Heero stopped steering. "Cliff, take over for me, and whatever you do, don't leave the wheel." he ran to mast and grabbed a rope as he proceeded to climb up it and shifted his weight to land where Jericho was tying. Heero walked over to the otherside and held the rope down as well.

The ship suddenly hit a wave, causing Heero to lose his balance and fall into the water.

"HEERO!!!" Katrina screamed.

Heero hit the side of the ship as he fell into the water.

Jericho jumped down to the bottom and called to Cliff. "MAN OVERBOARD!! HEERO'S FALLEN!!"

Cliff tried to keep the boat from moving too much so not to hit Heero wherever he lay.

Then Jericho felt something wrap around his waist, the rope was tying itself to him. Without a seconds hesitation he ran past Katrina and Vey and jumped off the side.

Without thinking, Katrina started taking charge. "Vey, grab the rope. We'll give him slack when he needs it, and when he finds Heero, we pull him in. Cliff, keep the ship heading north, we don't need to lose two sailors today." she looked out and saw Jericho, who had found Heero.

"PULL!" she yelled. She and Vey pulled the ropes as hard as they could until both Heero and Jericho were aboard.

Heero wasn't breathing.

"Dang it, Vey, when I tell you to, you blow air into him." Katrina pumped his stomach 3 times over until Heero finally came around. The storm had died down, and he coughed out water.

"Eww, gross..." Vey said as she backed away.

Jericho looked on his waist, and the rope was gone. He looked at Heero dumbfounded.

"You NEVER... risk the life of another ... to save a down man, Katrina." Heero said as he looked at her angrily.

Jericho bent down and helped Heero to his feet. "It didn't look like we had a choice in the matter Heero." he said with a smile.

Heero looked at him sharply.

"The Devils Rose wants you alive."

Heero looked at him puzzled.

"She made me go, Heero. She won't let you die. This is no ordinary ship."

Heero stared at him and looked at the rest. His eyes stopped at Katrina. She was angry for being yelled at.

"I'm sorry." he said

"You better be." she said and she walked back to her quarters.

Heero grabbed the wheel as Cliff ran down on deck and tied down the sails with the help of Jericho and Vey. as they did that a freak wave rose from the sea infront of them

'OH SHIT!!!,' exclaimed Heero, he had seen one of these before but it capsized the boat that it had done it to, 'PULL THE SAILS DOWN!!!,' roared Heero as rain poured down on top of them, Cliff then began pulling down the sails as fast as he could, again with the help of Jericho and Vey, they tied them down

'HOLD ON!!!,' exclaimed Cliff as he grabbed Jericho while holding onto the mast, Vey stumbled backwards missing Cliffs stretched out hand while The Devils Rose swayed violently, she fell against the side and then was tossed to the other side

'HELP ME!!,' screamed Vey as she tried to reach Cliff but the violent waves keep her from doing so, Heero looked down at her, He quickly grabbed two loose ropes that were flicking around in the wind and tied the wheel to them so's the ship wouldn't loose control, he then grabbed another rope that flickered in the wind and wraped it around his arm and he swung down and grabbed Vey before she was thrown against the side, she clung to Heero digging her nails into his back as they were slammed against the front of the wheel deck

'HOLD YOUR BREATH!!,' cried out Cilff as he clung tighter to the mast and to Jericho who was already having trouble breathing,

Heero and Vey looked up as the huge seventy footer wave steared down at them

'OH HELL," screamed Vey as she clung tighter to Heero, and Heero pulled her in closer to get a better grip

'Hold on,' whispered Heero, he felt the rope around his arm tighten and Vey put her head down against Heeros shoulder, Heero buried his face in the side of her head as the wave crashed down on top of them, their bodies slammed harder against the front of the wheel deck, Cliff and Jericho were slammed against the mast

Below deck Kartina was thrown around like a rag doll, she was slammed against the walls

'Oh my god!!!,' she cried out

Suddenly it was over and they found themselves on the other side of the storm with the sun blaring down on them, Cliff and Jericho were laying on the deck breathing heavily

'Oh shit!!!,' gasped Jericho, 'I don't know which one was worser...the wave or being held by Cliff,'

Vey still held onto Heero as they slid down the wall and sat on the ground

Katrina then bursted out on deck from the lower deck, 'What the hell happened?'

'We came up against a freak wave,' said Cliff

'And i came up against Cliffs grip,' coughed Jericho

Heero looked down at Vey who was unconcious but still had a tight grip on him

'Vey...Vey...VEY!,' yelled Heero, Vey's eyes shot open and she looked at him, shakely she let go of Heero and flopped back on the deck

'OH...MY GOD!!!,' she exclaimed while heavy breathing, 'That is the most hideous wave i have ever seen!!!!,'

'And your nails are the most hideous thing my back has ever encountered!!!,' gasped Heero as he rolled his shoulders around, Vey giggled and smiled at him as he stood up, Heero looked around the ship and nothing was damaged, still rolling his shoulders around he turned to look up at the wheel

'Oh man...I did that!!!,' gasped Vey looked at the tears in heeros shirt that was covered in patches of blood, 'Man I have a good grip,'

Heero tried to look over his shoulder to see how bad it was

'Man Vey...talk about shredding,' said Jericho

'Well as my father use to say...there's only one thing for it...' smiled Heero as he took off his shirt, his muscles tensed as he grabbed a rope and swung himself to the top of the mast

'Heero what are you doing?' called Katrina

'Swimming!!!,' he yelled down from the top as he jumped off the tip of the mast and dove into the water,

'I'm coming too!!!,' called Jericho as he grabbed ahold of the rope and swung off the side and flipped into the water, Heero surfaced along with Jericho and they laughed

[Akieen Cloud]

Vey whooped loudly and ran for the front of the deck on jumped performing a perfect dive stright between Heero and Jericho, she poped up and splashe Heero in the face. She looked up At Katrina and smiled.
"Come on in!"
"No thank you!"
"Why not?"
"I'm not as immature as most."
Vey held her laughter in as Cliff threw her in. He called down to them laughter in his voice.
"I'll mantian ship Heero, You all have fun."
Vey dived under the water and floated to the top.
"This reminds me of my family on the ship. Every time there would be a storm we lived through we always took the opprotunity to relax and be thankful that we lived. My mother...my mother would alway go below and help the cooks make the best meals...and father-father, he would play cards and laugh with the crew. When we were kidnapped and taken hostage, well I was so young but all I know was that I haven't enjoyed being inthe water til now."
She lay on her back and sighed, closing her eyes ahe relaxed and floated there for a while. Heero cleared his throat.
"Well, lets get underway."
Vey poped up and begun to climb the anchor chain.
"Ai Ai captin."
"Vey..."
"It's a sentament!''
Heero blinked and Vey gigled she hopped onto the deck and shook rather doggedly getting Cliff wet in the process.
"Sorry."
She ran and jumped releasing the sials and helpe dhte others back aboard. She stoped Heero as he walked past her and held his arm in a firm grip.
"Look I wanted to thank you for what you did for me, no-one other than my parents risked them-selve for me and that means a lot to me whether you know it or not Heero. So where ever you go. I'll be following right behind you."
She ran and began to relaese the rest of the sails and help get the ship ready as Heero took his place by the wheel once agian. Vey looked up.
"Where to captin?"
Heero smiled at her antics.
"Where ever the wind taked us."
Vey nodded and took her normal spot at the stern looking out at the water.

Katrina walked up to Heero while Jericho scaled the mast laughing psyhoctically as he went and singing an ugly off tune of "what shall we do with the drunken sailor"

'.....What shall we do with the psyhco sailor...what shall we do with the psyhco sailor..' Jericho sang as he reached the top

Everyone laughed

'So what are we going to do about Revonairs Treasure?' questioned Katrina

'Well only one thing to do,' he smiled at her as he turned to the others, 'WHOS IN FAVOUR OF LOOKING FOR REVONAIRS TREASURE!!!!,'

'YEAH!!!,' came the loud roar from the others

'Well then that settles it,' he said smiling at Katrina, Heero then handed the book to Katrina, take alook and see what you can find, I'll start working out, where abouts we are, and you try find where Revonairs ship went down,'

Katrina smiled, 'Yep...at last adventure,'

'Yes it maybe so but it could get ugly,' said Heero seriously

'Heero!!, i'm going to start on lunch,' called Cliff, Heero gave a slight nod,as he made his way below deck

'we may need to stop for more supplies and other things before we actually set off for this treasure who knows how long we'll be out there,' smiled Heero, 'plus we looks as though we could all do with some more clothing or what ever,'

'But how are we going to get clothing?, none of us actually have the money,' replied Katrina, 'Mind you we can always steal it,'

'There will be no such thing,' smiled Heero, 'Take the wheel,' he said as he jumped down from the wheel deck and went into his captains quarters, he started dragging out huge chests half the size of him, Vey quickly ran over to help him and so did Jerciho

'Man you don't travel light do you,' she mocked, he just smiled,

'whats in these?' questioned Jericho as Heero dragged out the last of fifteen chests, he then went back up by Katrina and tied the wheel down again and she followed him down to the others and then he called out to Cliff who came up instantly

'I found these while i was fixing her up,' said Heero as He sat on one chest and kicked open another, they all gasped in awe as they saw the amount of gold and jewels that over filled the chest and fell out onto the ground

'Oh shit...' whispered Jericho

'Now what i'm willing to do is split some of this between all of us, we will get a chest each but we will sort it so we all have the same amount and that amount will last you until we get more, the rest will go towards The Devils Rose for repairs, supplies stc...sound good...so there will be no stealing off each other or from towns we visit well, I'm putting alot of trust into you all...so is it a deal,' explained Heero as He folded his arms across his chest and looked at them seriously, they all agreed without hesitation

'But why?' questioned Katrina

'Because my father did it and he always said to me to carry on that tradition, and so thats what i'm doing,' smiled Heero ,'Now lets get to work,'

They had sorted everything out and carried their chests down to their rooms and placed them beside their beds and then helped Heero put other ten and his one back inside the Captains chambers.

'Now as I've said, there will be no need to steal off anyone of one another, if you do run out and you need more then come and see me and i'll take it out of The rose's chests but you will have to pay it back, just as i will if i had to borrow from her,' said Heero, 'now thats said and done, lets EAT!,'

Katrina sat in the quarters in the chair closest to the lamp.

"How long are you going to read that?" Vey asked as she looked down at Katrina.

"Until I find some info worth finding." she said never looking up from her book.

Vey looked up at the ceiling. "UGH! I can't sleep with that light on mate!" she said

"Well, now you know how I feel whenever you sing your songs at night." she said as she smiled wickedly at Vey.

"You're cruel sister, but I'm relentless. I need my sleep. And so do you."

"Alright, Alright." Katrina picked up her books and walked to the door.

"Hey, where are you going?" she asked

"I'm going to go and read outside. There's bound to be a little light out there. I'll go sit under the lamps."

"It's 3 in the morning, katrina. You'll be dog tired for tomorrow."

"You underestimate my sleeping habits, Vey. I don't get much sleep." Katrina smiled. "Good night little one."

"Hey!!" screamed Vey, but Katrina quickly closed the door before she could finish.

[Galvatron]

It was early in the morning and poor Jericho found himself cleaning the deck.

" I hate this job why do I get stuck with an crapy job." said Jericho as he continued to clean.

" I got to sleep in a crapy bed while the girls get nice ones. Damn I sure hate the morning, why is know one paying attention to me. I'm hungray when the hell is breakfast I can't continue to work without some food." complained Jericho very loud trying to get someones attention, Heero walked past Jericho and said a few words.

" Hey stop complaining every one has to help out in one way or another." said Heero as he made his rounds abord the ship.

" Fine i'll continue to work. I'll be happy as long as that crazy Katrina dosent come by. Why dose she think I owe her money , she's just crazy." said Jericho mumbling to himself.

[Vash IDK]

"Because you DO owe me money." she said as she walked by him.

"Yeah, since when sister?"

"Since you had to pay off Mr. Grant when you shot his windows."

"Oh that, well that was a while ago."

Katrina laughed and rolled her eyes. She wanted to make sure he paid so no one would get word that she let someone rip her off. But now it didn't matter. She woul just enjoy having this over his head.

"Heero, I'm not sure what to gather from this. It seems that their last stop was Duego, to gather supplies, but he was very vague as to where they were headed afterwards."

"Did he say anything about the weather?"

"A little, he said the weather seemed to be very cold that year. Some of his crew died of pneumonia."

"Well, since it was cold, we can assume it was winter time right?" said Heero as he glanced at Katrina.

"I would guess so..." Katrina was a little lost as to what he was getting at.

"Let me see that," Heero held the wheel with one hand as he leaned over to look at the book. On the bottom corner of each page, he had faintly written a date.

"So, it was in the Summer. That's odd." Katrina said stil looking at the book.

"Summer. Well, that could only mean they went south of Duego. Duego is near the equator, so it would be relatively warm, don't you think?" Heero asked with a smile

Katrina just stared at Heero. She was a little embarrassed that she missed that. She thought she went through the book inside and out.

"So South it is, but we're still lost as to where they found the treasure."

"Hmm, I have a feeling you'll figure it out. In the captains quarters, I have a map. You can use that and see where they could have docked."

"What good would that do?"

"Well, you can figure out his habits, and whether or not he liked danger, and see which course he would have taken. Study his behaviors. Here," Heero got the other book with The Devil's Rose logs in it. "Use this. See where they found Revonairs ship. I'm sure it may have been around that area where they found the treasure."

Katrina took the book. "I'll see what I can find." she said in her most professional voice.

She was beginning to admire her captain. But she didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea. He reminded her of her old captain. Respectful, and caring about the crew. She knew then she wouldn't mind working for him. Heero had her respect.

Heero looked down at Jericho who was still mumbling under his breath about scrubbing the decks

'Hey Jericho take the wheel!' he called down to him, Jericho was up in a flash, as Heero jumped down from the wheel deck and went below beck to Cliff

Jericho held the wheel steady while Kartina sat down on some crates behind him to read the book

Heero walked into the kitchen to see how Cliff was

'Are you alright?' asked Heero

'Young Heero you know i'm fine, cooking is one of my loves,' smiled Cliff, Heero sat down at a table, at that moment Vey ran up beside him and sat down

'GOOD MORNING!' she bellowed in Heeros ear, Heero looked at her with a frown while Cliff laughed

Above deck Jericho spotted something moving towards them,

'hey whats that?' questioned Jericho as he looked back at Katrina, she put the books away and looked to where Jericho was pointing

'OH SHIT!,' she exclaimed, 'It's a pirate ship!!,'

'Oh Hell!,' whispered Jericho as gripped the wheel tighter while Katrina ran below deck

'HEERO,' she yelled, Heero, Cliff and Vey ran out from the Kitchen

'What is it?' he asked noticing the seriousness on her face

'There's another pirates she,' she replied

Heero then took off up top while the others followed, He jumped at a rope that dangled from the middle mast and swung up to the crows nest, pulling out his retractable telescope he casted it over the water and gazed upon the on coming ship, he could see them loading the canons on the upper deck, searching around them he spotted one coming from the back, Heero picked both ships to be about fifteen miles away, he put away his telescope and swung down

'theres two of them, qucikly follow me,' said Heero calmly as they rushed below deck

'How are we going to stop two ships?' questioned Vey as they ran through the hallways on the second lower deck

'Simple...we blow them out of the water,' smiled Heero

'But we have no canons,' objected Vey

'Thats how much you know,' said Katrina, 'All ships have canons,'

They ran threw a door and down into a huge open third lower deck, it had four levels on both sides of long and short range canons, they looked to the back and saw three huge long ran canons, and then looking to the front were two more huge long range canons

'Oh shit she's like I war machine,' whispered Katrina...." i remeber reading it in the book but...how can she have this many canons?'

'Thats why she's so big,' smiled Heero, 'All Canons are loaded and ready even the three at the back and the two in the front...the canons on the third and forth levels are short distance, they shot up to about 5 miles, the canons on the front shoot up to about 15 miles, maybe even more and the ones at the back 10, now Cliff i want you on the front canons and Vey and Katrina on the back,' explained Heero as he ran down to the back and Katrina and Vey followed,

Heero then turned a wheel on the right and suddenly the back part of The Devils Rose opened up and the canons rolled to the edge with a rumble, Vey looked over the side and saw that they were about fifteen to twenty feet away from the water, Heero lined the canons up to shot a range of 7 miles

'listen out for the call to light the fuse on the right, go from right to left don't light them all at once just incase we might miss,' said Heero as he took off down to Cliff who was already opening the
doors for the front canons

'Cliff are you ok?' asked Heero

'Yes Heero,' said Cliff turning the wheel, as the nose of the ship opened up, the so that the tip was facing upwards and the two huge canons rolled forward with an even louder rumble, Heero then lined it up to shot at seven miles he then ran back up to the first level and looked down at them

'Listen out for my call, light one at a time,' he belloed down to them and they nodded and focussed on the on coming ships

Heero ran back above deck and relieved Jericho of the wheel, he was still in awe of seeing the front tip of the ship pull upwards, he ran to the fron and peared over the side

'Oh shit are those canons?' he questioned in disbelief

'Yeah and theres three at the back too,' smiled Heero, 'now Jericho I need you up in the crows nest and to calculate how far away they are,'

Heero handed the telescope to Jericho who scaled the middle mast and sat up in the crows nest

'They're about ten miles away now,' called Jericho gazing through the telescope

'Tell me when theyre nine and a half away,' Heero called back, 'Because when the light the fuse's they should be bang on when the canons fire

Heero picked up a horn shaped shell which had a tube melted to it

'Don't forget to block you ears, move away and hold on to something!' yelled Heero into the shell

In the third lower deck they heard Heero

'Man this is so cool...A ship that fires from the sides and front and back!,' cheered Vey

'Shut up we need to be focussed,' said Katrina

Vey stuck out her tounge and wiped some sweat form her face.
"You think I don't know that mate? I do but whats the point in being so down when you can have fun?"
"FIRE ALL!"
Vey lit the fuse and held tight to the cannon infront of her as it blasted."
"Hot damn these things have some power!"
She and Katrina rolled the cannons forward agian and listened carefully for another command from Heero.
"captin everything alright?"
"Get ready!"
Vey rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Thats nice,I just realized somethin...Those dogs ruined my breakfast!"
Katrina looked horrified.
"How can you think of somethig like food at a moment like this?"
"My father always told me to make the most and I'll be damned if I'm going back on that now. deal with it, or leave me the hell alone Katrina."
Vey looked at Katrina, her eyes serious and full of determination.
