[Heero Darkangel]

Heero groaned at the feeling...he didn't want to be scared anymore...he wanted only to see her...her in his dreams..her smile..her warmth..her beauty...her grace

'Vey...are you sure?' he asked tremebling

'I've never been more sure...but I've made my move...it's yours for the taking if you want it...if you want me,' she smiled, her eyes glowed without a hint of fear

Heero began to kiss her neck and she tingled all over, her body shievered with goose bumps, as she ran her hands up and down his back and groaned, the water surrounded them again, and again, Heero ran his hands over her body caressing every curve with his hand as they kissed passionately, Heero shakely undid her top and began kissing her all over her body, Vey arched her back as she felt a wonderous sensation rush over her

'Heero...' his name escaped her lips in pleasure as her heart beat rapidly, Heero quickly sat back fearing that he may of hurt her, his breathing was heavy and he rubbed the back of his neck

'Did...I....I hurt you??' he whispered shakingly

Vey moved towards him and wrapped her legs around him then pulled him back down on top of her

'No, you won't hurt me...you could never hurt me...I love you,' she whispered as she kissed him on the mouth, 'You won't hurt me, I promise,'

Heero ran his hands up her arms which lay above her to her hands and then brought them back down she shuddered warmly under his touch and groaned, she brought her hands down between them and undie his pants and hers, they both lay naked looking at each other, Heero shievered and blinked back tears as memories poured into his head

'It's ok...just look at me...look at me..i'm not them...I'm Vey..Vey Flower...Just look at me,' she whispered her voice soothing the demons that haunted him and he kissed her

Vey put her arms around him and drew him closer, she wanted him

'Take me..' she whispered and suddenly without warning she felt him inside of her, they both groaned and looked at each other, Her eyes filled with tears of pleasure as he smiled warmingly at her, Heero could feel her warmth..her love as he moved slowly inside her, she too joined thr rythm as he kissed and bit her neck gently and she arched into him feeling every naked part of him against her as her body tingled with excitement

Vahn's comocence changes, the [I]Lady[/I] goans, and she wants to leave. But Vahn can't overcome the feelings he had, he wanted to be near Heero.

"My [I]Lady [/I] ...... I am now your master....... I know that you at least will never leave me....."

Vahn rests his hand on her, and she seems to like his touch. "the only woman for me......." Vahn smiles at his own joke.

"I shall return, if anyone comes on board, don't hurt them."

The Lady groans in protest, but will obey.

Vahn seeks out Heero, and finds him and Vey on the beach. He is silent, so when they finally notice he's there, they jump. Vahn's cloak hides his eyes, and his cheeks, hideing the fact he had been crying.

"DON'T DO THAT!!!!" Vey yells, not really mad.

"I'm...... sorry."

Vahn's words seem reverberate his feelings, making Heero look closer. "you've been crying again....."

"you're seeing things." Vahn is cold, making Heero's suspect he was after all.

"the [I]Lady[/I] wishes to leave. She's not one for patience, either." Vahn looks away, not wanting them to see his eyes filling with tears, he wanted to leave as well, and not look at Heero. He didn't understand why, either.

OOC: Now thats one hell of a way to kill the moment!!

Heero ended out wrapping his shirt around his waist as he covered Vey who put on his Jacket, Heero felt somewhat angered and Violated as he frowned at Vahn

He grabbed Vey's hand and they walked back to the dock, Heero then turned back towards Vahn

They stand on the docks and watch yumura leave into the mist that she arrived on, her haunting shilloette slowly disappears in the mist and Vahn's eyes swell with tears

Hey, it'll be alright Vahn, at least now your not alone, we're your friends, she'll return again...and anyway..we leave at dawn so get some rest or go back to the celebration,' smiled Heero as him and Vey walked up the walk way

'I'm sorry for ruining your evening...' called Vahn looking up at Heero

'I know that but for future reference...please don't walk up on us like that when were naked...you freaked the hell out of me..' smiled Heero still feeling aroused after being rudely disturbed as he looked back at Vahn, Heero and Vey then disappeared into the captains quarters

OOC Don't I know it............ but hey, such things also happen in real life, trust me, people are always walking in in me when I'm with someone. They always get more than an eyeful as well........... :D


Vahn is deep in thought, but the strange mist that guided the [I]Lady[/I] to him does not completely disipate. She's nearby, waiting for Vahn to call her. Her dark hulk is unseen, yet there.

Vahn thought of seeing Heero naked. He began to fel his cheeks heat up, like he was blushing. He was feeling things he had never felt before, yet he was not really feeling them.

"Why am I like this??"

Vahn climbs upward, into the Crow's nest. The Rose shudders, as though he is not welcome. He sets his hand on the rail, and strokes her aged wood. The ship groans, enjoying it.

"You're so much like my ship..... But I have to admit i am more attached to you..... Let's not tell her.. okay?"

The [I]Rose [/I] wobbles. It soothes Vahn, makinging him think again of Heero naked. Once again, his cheeks heat up. But, he is suddenly very uncomfortable below the waist, something that had never happened.

The Lady can be heard in the distance, moving her massive form around, creaking and groaning. Vahn purses his hans together, concentrateing with all his power.

"[I]Lady Yumura's Rose[/I], aid me now. Summon my power, my form to your majesty."

Hero comes out of his cabin and sees Vahn looking like he's praying. Vahn glows, and disappears in a flash and sparkles, vanishing completly, leaveing only a swirl of mist.

Vahn appears on the [I]Lady Yumura's Rose[/I], he smiles. My [I]Lady[/I], you knew I could do that, didn't you? I only had to ask to be here, didn't I????"

Vahn Heads down below deck, to where his own room once was. The room had changed, somewhat. It was dark, but not dreary.

Vahn smiles, and heads to the wardrobe. It ws filled with clothes to his taste, size, and age. Vahn pulls on a knife holder and a new Black cloak, the ends all coated a a strange subtance that was as sharp as any blade.

"I am a weapon now..." Vahn seems disconcerted, and thus wishes to be back on the Rose. He appears there, wearing his new clothes, in a swirl of black mist.

"You are light, my [I]Lady[/I] is dark........"

Vahn is suddenly caught by Heero. "Where'd you go???" He demands, looking scared.

"It was-" Vahn starts, but is interupted.

"you scared the shit out of me, disappearing like that! Never do that again, whatever that was!"

Vahn does not flinch, does not back away, does not blink. "It wasn't anything big. The [I]Lady [/I] welcomes me back to her at any time......"

"You were..... on the [I]Lady Yumura's Rose??[/I]" Heero is taken aback.

"Yes. She is now mine, you know. Watch."

Vahn shows off his seemingly newfound power. He moves to the railing. "[I]Lady Yumura's Rose[/I]!!! Come to me!!!!" Vahn calls out over the water. The dark mist becomes thicker, but it disipates, as Vahn wishes. The Lady looms into view, her form sinister in the fact she sails with no crew. Her repaired sails roll up, and her anchor drops. She looks so sinister,. what with her being all black.

"you yourself posess the same bond with the [I]Devil's Rose[/I].....

Vahn does not smile, he seems to become depressed. "I will leave you to your thoughts. I have no room here, so I shall return to [I]The Lady[/I].

Vey lay down on Heero's bed, frustrated at Vahn.
"I can't belive him!"
Heero shut and locked the door looking at her he smiled and shook his head.
"What?"
"Your whining agian."
Vey blinked and smiled.
"Well, where were we?"
Heero moved to the bed and lay down beside her she shed his jacket and sighed as his hands ghosted over her body. She smiled and kissed his palm.
"Heero, I love you."
Heero rolled ontop of her and smiled down at her, she arched agianst him as he entered her for a second time. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his collar.
"Gods Heero..."
Her face was flushed as she lay back down, she twisted her legs around his waist and moaned as he kissed her neck. Her breathes became short and she arched agianst him.
"Heero..."

Heero groaned as he moved on top of her, His breathing becoming short as they moved together, they rolled and Vey ended on top of him, moans slipped from her mouth as Heero hands ran caressingly over her body and down to her slender waist, pulling her down on top of him both moving in sync with each other, Vey ran her hands up and down his arms, she could feel his muscles tense, she put her head back as Heero sat up and pulled her closer kissing her neck gently, she moaned again as excitement ran through her body giving her goose bumps, she lent back as Heero made his way over her chest and a louder moan escaped her lips, as she pulled him in closer running her hands threw his hair.

Waves crashed against the side of the Rose making it rock slightly

Heero rolled Vey until he was on top of her again, both groaned, Vey wrapped her legs around his waist again as he kissed her passionately, she bit his lip as she ran her hands down his body to his waist where she pulled him in deep and harder, she could feel him throbbing inside of her, filling her wildly, Heero groaned as he lifted his head, their bodies drench in sweat, as their movements got fast and more wantingly and their moans became louder, Heero's body tenses as vey arches up into his as she pulls him in,

'Heero....oh god....' were the words that escaped Veys mouth loudly as Heero drove into her deeper and deeper as if searching....then at that moment a rush of pure pleasure serges through their bodies, Vey arched into Heero more as her fingers dug into his back as Heero flung head back and gripped the sheets as he drove in one last ime, both letting out a moan of ectasy and fullfillment as their bodies shuddered together, Heero colasped on top of Vey, their breathing heavy and short and their bodies soaked

Heero lifted his head and looked down at Vey, she ran her fingers through his soaked hair pushing back his bangs to uncover his eyes

'I love you so much...' she whispered as she kissed him gently

'And I love you...' he whispered

Throughout the night they made love, caressing each other as if they couldn't get enough, their bodies became intangled in one another and their moans of pleasure were captured in the waves that broke against the Rose...

The next day Vey awoke to find herself alone in the bed, she smiled at what had happened and her heart raced, she jumped out of the bed with the sheet wrapped around her and ran out onto the deck to find Heero just jumping from the mast and into the water, she ran to the side and looked over to find him to find him looking back at her

'Morning lover..' she smiled

'Hey,' he winked at her as he climbed up the rope, grabbed her around the waist and kissed her passionately then looked at her, 'I can't seem to get enough of you....'

Vey smiled as she kissed him again, ' me to...I love you so much,'

At that moment Vahn walked out from below

'Morning Vahn,' smiled Heero while Vey smiled at Vahn

'Morning..' he spoke as he waslked to the side of the ship, Vey kissed Heero and went back into the captains quarters to get cleaned up and dressed

Heero walked up beside Vahn and lent against the side, 'You know Vahn...there's one difference between you and I with these ships...'

'Whats that?' questioned Vahn looking at Heero

'You control Yumura...but I don't control Rose, yes I may be the captain but to me she is more than a ship...she's beautiful and strong...and I trust her dearly with my life and she trusts me, if there's something that she doesn't like she'll let me know and I trust her judgement, she's loyal to all of us...I'm not saying that Yumura can't be trusted or anything like that but there's something that does disturb me about her...it doesn't scare me because Rose is also a ghost ship...the only difference is..Rose never sank...she rose above all of Revonairs ways and rebelled against him...but with Yumura...I see her pain..her fear...her needs....how because I see it in you...if your not careful..you will sink her Vahn,' spoke Heero with a serious look in his eyes

'What!...I'll never sink her!!,' snapped Vahn slamming his fist down on the side, at that moment a rope knocked him at the back of the head, 'Ouch!,' he growled as he rubbed his head, Vahn jumped down from the ship and ran to the side

'YUMURA! COME NOW!!,' roared Vahn...but this time she didn't came..., 'what...YUMURA NOW COME TO ME!!,'

Still she didn't come

Heero jumped down beside him, 'Vahn can't you hear yourself...she isn't a ship that will come when you call her like that...Yumura is more than a ghost ship...even though her ship may have sunken...her spirit lives on,'

'And what would you know!..I'm her master not you!,' growled Vahn

Heero then moved to the side, 'Yumura...come...it's ok....' spoke Heero softly at that moment mist appeared and Yumura floated gracefully into the bay and up to the dock

'WHAT!!...NO!!,' exclaimed Vahn as he looked at Heero, 'How?? your not of Yumura decendant..how??'

'When Yumura wrapped her mast around Rose she not only connected with Rose...but she also connected with me...Devils Rose and I we are more or less one...I feel her pain she feels mine...but the only thing is Rose didn't connect with Yumura..why?..because Yumura is only a cousin to Rose and because she bears the name of your family... not hers meaning..she wasn't built by Revonair...if I remember rightly, Revonairs brother Shaylin, he was a kind man a warm hearted man, he hated violence and couldn't stand Revonair..he loved Yumura very much..and treated her as if she were human..but the day he died her spirit was broken...and her spirit has been broken ever since...you are the only one left who can heal her spirit and set her free...but in doing that you have to heal yourself first..and if you don't open you eyes..then she'll be trapped here forever haunting these seas and you'll be trapped living in misery forever...and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want that..because to me...it wouldn't be right to do that to a beautiful thing,' spoke Heero as he gently stroked the side of the ship, she shuddered under his touch as Heero then walked back onto Rose

'Vahn..if you want to leave with her...then you can leave but I'd hate to see you go,' smiled Heero as he looked at Vahn whos eyes filled with tears

At that moment, Jericho, Byron and Tanzin ran down the docks laughing at what they did at the celebration

'We leave in an hour,' said Heero looking at Vahn, 'You can go with her...or come with us...it's up to you,'

Vahn is disqiueted, and he disappears in a flash of light.

"Lady Yumura...... Did you really sink?"

The Lady creaks in disagreement. Apparently, there were elements far beyond him and Heero, And the Lady was one of them. She was majestic, and the very power that bound Vahn to this world.

"Lady, I have a choice. I want to Go with Heero....... I don't know why, but I feel i must...... He was the first person to show me any kindness...... with no strings attached."

The Lady creaks again, in support.

"You will follow, yes?"

The Lady veers to the Rose, and soon she anchors alongside her. Vahn smiles, his eyes filling with tears. "I'm such an emotional fool....."

Vahn leaps to the Rose, his cloak hideing his face. He stands there, leaning against a wall, playing it cool.

He watches various members of the crew walk by, and the groaning of the Lady Yumura's Rose. She's restless, and begins to hoist anchor.

"Lady??? Please stay. I need someone i can count on."

The ship begins to sail around, never out of sight. She seems to want to leave, and take Vahn away.

The twins creep up on Vahn, grabbing him from the side.

[I]"Heit tia ne!!!!!!"[/I] Vahn shouts, and slams the offending twin into the deck, making the Devil's Rose twitch her ropes. Vahn realizes who it is, and lets him go.

"Never do that again to me..... Lest you wind up in peices." Vahn's cold gaze is unshifting, his eyes filled with only an echo. The twins hastilly back off.

Vahn returns to sulking, deep in thought. He thinks of Heero once more...... and he feels it as his heart sinks. His eyes do not water however.He becomes more dismal in his thoughts.

[I]He makes me feel this....... but have I fallen in love with him???[/I]

"As long as I am near...." He mutters. "I shall question this feeling."

Vahn takes out his knife, and an apple he had bought earlier. He carves it up, peeling off the skin and into peices. He eats them, but some birds swoop down before he can eat them all.

Vahn holds his hand up, offering them to the gulls. They land on his outstretched palm, eating the peices. There are all together three gulls and tiny eagle. Vahn laughs, and for once, it rings with a melodic quality, like a soothing chime. The Lady Seems to lighten her color as well, becomeing a dark brown.

But, once the food is gone, the birds leave, and Vahn returns to his thoughts. He's more upbeat, and the Lady retains her dark color, though it is no longer black.

Vey smiled as Heero climbed to the wheel deck.
"Alright gang, Let's go!"
Vey pulled back on a sail and let go releasing it. The wind caught it and the Rose began to move. She spotted Vahn and turned her head sideways.
"Hey Vahn, whatcha thinkin' about?"
He stayed silent.
"You know, you ARE a member f this crew, your part of the family now, so come on brother."
She placed a flute she had made a night before into his palm.
"I figered you could play since you seemed the type."
She ran to Heero and jumped into his arms laughing as her spun her.
"Vey, will you play for the Rose?"
"Always."
She placed the flute to her lips and began to play a sweet tune, Byron and Tanzin smiled back at Heero and Vey. Jericho leaned on the railing watching the water happily. She smiled as Heero hummed along with her. Another flute joined in as she began to increase the tempo of the music, Vahn played the downbeat as she sped up even more. She held the last note out and sighed as it rand along thwe deck. She climbed up to the crows nest and sighed.

[I]Vey, take good care of Heero for me...please, I'll be watching over you all.[/I]

Vey smile dand nodded as she felt a hand on her shulder.
"Don't worry Katrina, I'll make sure we all make it in one piece."
She looked down at Heero who was in he middle of being interagated by the twins, asking him about the relationship of him and Vey. She giggled as Heero tunred a bright red and had a slight nose bleed.

Heero wiped the blood from his nose with a cloth, he looked back over his shoulder and there the ghostly form of Yumura followed, she was a very beautiful ship but daunting, Heero spun the huge wheel as rose spun towards the open sea

He then jumped down from the wheel deck and walked over to Vahn and put out his hand

'I'm glad you stayed..Friend, you and Yumura you both hold a place on and beside the Rose always..just remember that,' smiled Heero holding his hand out, Vahn looked at Heero and then looked at his hand and with a slight smile he shook Heeros hand even though his face went red

'Th...thank you,' said Vahn as he looked back at Yumura who seemed to shine with Vahns smile as if she felt his happiness

'She's a beautiful ship...look after her,' said Heero looking back at Yumura

'I will,' spoke Vahn

'Hey watch out!!!,' they both heard Jericho's voice bellow out with a laugh behind it, Heero and Vahn looked at each other as they heard heavy footsteps hitting the wooden floors, as they got closer Vahn and Heero ducked down and out of the way as the two brothers flew passed them, hit into the side and flew over board, Vahn and Heero looked at each other then quickly peered over the side to find the two brothers laughing in the water

'Dammit we missed you both!,' Tanzin called up as the Rose pulled them out laughing, Heero and Vahn then laughed aswell as the two were dropped on the deck, Vey laughed from the crows nest as the two brothers hugged both Heero and Vahn soaking them

'Bastards!,' laughed vahn

'Watch me!,' called Jericho as he swung from the wheel deck and hit into Byron who didn't budge but laughed instead

'Ouch!..man thats like hitting a brick wall!,' exclaimed Jericho trying to get his wind back after being winded, Heero ran up to the wheel deck

'On ward to find Captian Raverns treasure!,' bellowed out Heero from the wheel deck

and they all roared as the left the cove of Sandor, Heero then walked to side and pulled out a saphire jewel, he kissed it and flung it over board

'Farewell Katrina...may your spirit live on..,' he smiled as he turned to look up at Vey who smiled down at him and he winked at her

Vahn stands apart, his smile fades away as he sees a mechanical bird flying torward the ship.

Heero spots it too, and watches as it lands on Vahn's arm.

"A freind of yours?"

Vahn is silent as he takes a message from the bird's leg.

[I]Domas Vesh wishes to hire you.He wants you to assassinate his corrupt Lord Orkam and his closest followers. Lord Orkam is a pedifle, and violates his own daughter, and is well known for attempting to get the sacred Sisters of Mille Seasu. Your price is three hundred million oolongs each.[/I]

Vahn looks from the message to Heero.

"You leaveing?"

"I am unsure. " Heero snatches the message.

"Someone wants to hire you??"

Vahn is suddenly cold. "It is my profession."

"Do you want to go???"

"I am the best of the best. Plus, the money is exeptional."

"You didn't answer me."

"and as I said before, It is my profession."

Heero looks at Vahn his expression hard and cold

'OK THATS IT!,' Heero roared over the top of the crashing waves the swayed the Rose, 'I"VE HAD IT!....THE MORE I TRY TO KEEP THE CREW TOGETHER THE MORE I GET IT PUSHED BACK IN MY FUCKING FACE!!!!....FUCK IT...!,'

At that moment the Rose shuddered violently

'Hey! Heero stop the anger your making the rose shudder,' said Vahn as they held onto the side

'They deffinately aint my doing....' replied Heero

'HEERO SHIP IN THE WATER!!!!!,' yelled Vey as she scurried down the mast, Heero ran to the other side of the ship and looked out across the water and there it sailed..a huge redish bown vessel..which stood strong and proud and there at the top of it's mast flew the flag of Revonair

'Oh shit...' whispered Heero as they all stood beside him

'Heero whats wrong?' questioned Byron

'It's Revonair...oh shit!,' whispered Heero, 'He's built a new ship,'

'Oh god...' whispered Vey at Heero's side, suddenly the stomping of running feet caught Heeros attention, he spun around to see Vahn making a run for it, and he jumped across to the Yumura

'Vahn where you going!!,' yelled Heero as he ran after him

'Yumura and I will take care of him!,' called back Vahn

'You fool!!,' exclaimed Heero as he ran and jumped for the Yumura rose just managing to catch the side and he pulled himself up

'I can take him down!..me and Yumura,' exclaimed Vahn as she spun towards Revonairs approaching ship

'JERICHO GET THE ROSE OUT OF HERE NOW AND KEEP HER AWAY!!!,' called Heero from the ship

Jericho then took the wheel and spun the rose in another direction even though she pulled towards Heero

'Heero!...get off I can take him,' called Vahn from the wheel deck

'Vahn listen to me!!!...Revonair will slaughter our god damn lives if we go after him!!...Don't you understand!...we're fighting with fire if we go after him!...Vahn trust me for god sake!!!,'

but it was too later...a voice so haunting and full of hatered roared across the waters

'YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!!...WHERES MY ROSE!!!,' roared a decaying form that stood at the wheel of the huge ship that aproached them

'Oh what the fuck do you call that!!!,' exclaimed Vahn actually looking shocked as a strong smell of death swept across the water and onto the Yumura which shuddered violently, the decaying form looked at Vahn and then very slowly turned his head towards Heero

'YOU!!,' he roared again, Heero raised an eyebrow, 'WHERE IS SHE....I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT SHE HAS CHOOSEN YOU!!!...AND I WANT HER BACK!,'

Heero then laughed and Vahn looked at Heero with a deep frown

'Do you honestly think that I'd tell you where the Hell she is!,' laughed Heero pyshcotically

'HOW DARE YOU MOCK ME....,' roared Revonair even louder

'Lady get ready to fire your canons...' whispered Vahn

At that moment Revonair looked at Vahn and snarled, 'Boy I wouldn't even think of doing that...,'

Vahn looked up at Revonair coldly

'Satans Soul will sink you and you blasted ship within seconds...I I have nothing against my brothers ship...' Revonairs voice hauntingly drifted between the two ships

Vahn looked at the ship and saw five rows of canons aimed at them and he raised an eye brow to Revonair

'Do you think that scares me!,' growled Vahn

'No...but if you knew that ship aswell as i did you'd sense it's fear....and as for the LITTLE BASTARD THAT STANDS WITH YOU...WHERE"S THE DEVILS ROSE!!!,' snarled Revonair

'You should know..' smiled Heero wickedly

'You know for a fact that that isn't possible...since she choose you....and once I do get my hands on her I"LL TEAR THE BITCH APART!!!....THAT BETRAYING......WHERE IS SHE!!!,' growled Revonair

'I'd rather die first than hand her over to the like of you,' growled Heero his face expressionless

'THATS IT...I WANT THEM ALIVE!!!,' growled Revonair as over eighty men appeared at the side and suddenly they began swinging across to the Yumura who tried everything to kill them off but for some reason they just kept coming, Heero drew his sword and began fighting the decaying horde that ran towards him and Vahn...Vahn then began battling with one group

'YUMURA GET RID OF THEM...' exclaimed Vahn coldly, the Yumura shook violently as more entered on to the ship....

Revonair began laughing at the top of his lungs, 'Yumura can't kill whats already dead fool!!!,'

Vahn looked at Revonair coldy

Heero fought off as many as he could but it got beyond him and Vahn and they were suddenly captured and because Yumura wouldn't leave...she too was taken captive and dragged behind Satans Soul

'ROSE....IF YOU DON"T COME TO ME BEFORE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...YOUR PERCIOUS CAPTAIN WILL DIE,' mocked Revonair as the decaying crew tied up Heero and Vahn

Jericho hand set Rose behind as Island not far from them and they heard everything, the Rose desperately tried to head for them

'Rose stop it...if he gets ahold of you then who know what he'll do...we need to figure out a plan...of how to get them back...we'll follow them but at a safe distance,' whispered Jericho, the Rose shuddered as if she sighed

Revonair walked up to Heero and grabbed his chin hard...Heero gave him a crooked smile, suddenly Revonair struck him in the stomach, an immense pain shot up through his body and he hunched over as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth......Heero and Vahn were then knocked out

Vahn awoke chained to a wall, he looked around

'Dammit I have to get out of here...' he whispered

'I wouldn't do that if I were you...' spoke a decaying figure who stepped out into the light the shone through a gap in the door holding a rusted but sharp dagger, Vahn looked at him coldly

'Dammit...' whispered Vahn

Heero awoke on a stone cold floor

'Pick him up!!!!,' roared Revonair....'she will come...I'll make damn sure...,'

Revonair began beating Heero against the wall, smashing his fists into Heero's stomach, he then made two of the rotting pirates hold him down on the table on his stomach as he grabbed a whip which had small spikes on it and began whipping him, the spikes stuck into Heero's back and as Revonair pulled the whip back it tore into his flesh making him cry out in pain as it also tore his shirt, blood poured out everywhere as Revonair repeatingly did this, he was then ripped from the table and bashed again

Vahn looked around trying to figure out where Heero was, suddenly heard a blood curtling cry which came again and again and then it stopped

'Heero...his whispered, then there was an eerie silence suddenly the door opened and a figure was thrown in, landing in a heap at his feet and then the dorr closed again, Vahn looked down, as the figure struggled to get up, falling in a heap everytime it tried to stand, it was like watching a bird with a broken wing trying to stand but when the figure did, Vahn realised that it was Heero, his body was bloodied, torn and bruised badly, and all he had on was his pants

'Heero...' called Vahn as Heero looked at him as if to ask who he was, his breathing shallow...and suddenly his eyes rolled back up into his head and he fell over

Vahn begins to act funny. His breathing becomes shallow, and comes in short gasps.

His eyes seem to glow with a power far beyond that of any man, alive or dead.

"No one......." Vahn growls. "No one...... no one........" Vahn's eyes become livid. "NO ONE HURTS MY FREINDS!!!!!!!"

Vahn snaps his chains like they are made of straw, his power frightening. "Heero...."

Vahn falls to his knees. "Heero..... Come on... Wake up......" Vahn begins to feel around for a pulse. "Heero...... Please don't leave me....." Vahn's eyes fill with tears once more.


Outside, the Lady Yumura's Rose Begins to heave and convulse. Her wooden hull becomes as black as pitch. It seems to chage, becomeing more steamlined. Her sails become filled with holes, and her ropes begins to untie. They flap in the wind, making even Revinor's crew antsy.

Vey was watching from the Devil's rose. "Heero....... Vahn...." She sees the transformation of the Lady, and fear sets in. "Please come back to me....... both of you...."

Vahn is shaking Heero, trying deperately to wake Heero. "NO....nononononononono
This isn't happening...."

Vahn stops. "Please wake up..... I can't lose you...... You....were the first... to care. You have so much here...... Don't leave us..... You have me...... jericho... the twins... the crew.... " Vahn pauses......

"And you have Vey......"

Vahn cries, suddenly hugging Heero close. "Please...Stay with me..."

Vahn lays him down, and cries.

A single tear falls on Heero's cheek, Stirring him from his slumber of the doomed.

"Vahn???" he asks, sitting up.

Vahn gasps, and is suddenly crying into Hero's chest. "You bastard!!!" Vahn's small hands ball up into fist, and he hits heero as he cries. "You almost died.....You almost left Vey..... You are the one person she loves... Damn you!!!!" Vahn is saying things that only partially set his feelings. Vahn's small body shakes in anger and saddness. Heero is offfed at this display of emotion, but he is able to see into Vahn's heart.

He says nothing of this newfound information, but only put's his arm around Vahn, who begins to calm down.

"It's alright....... Calm down..... I'm fine."

"Shomhai....." Vahn snorts, feeling slightly better. Heero smiles, knowing Vahn just called him a dumbass.

Vey screamed as it began to get dark around them.
"Jericho I can't stand this! I'm going!"
Jericho swung down infront of her.
"NO! You can't what would Heero say?"
"Lookk, you and the twins keep the Devils Rose here, I HAVE to go and see if I can find Heero, I am a thief after all."
"Vey that doesnt't matter you'll be caught and you'll die and then what will Heero do?"
"I won't die, I haven't yet right?"
"Vey..."
"No Jericho you can't stop me this time. I've made up my mind, I'm going."
Vey ran and took a flying leap over the side and into the water, she began to swim to the ship and climbed the rope on the side. She scanned the deck, nothing. She ran down below and covered her nose, the smell was so putried she almost vomited there and then. She took off her bandana and wrapped it around her mouth so the smell wouldn't go through and continued to look fr Heero and the others. She head a sob from one of the cells as she passed it.
"Vahn? Heero?"
"Vey?"
It was Heero, Vey felt her heart swell and the tears flow as she heard his voice, though it was weak it was him.
"Heero! Is Vahn with you?"
"What are you doing here? You could be killed!"
"I had to I had to come and find you."
Vey began to pick the lock and as she finished a hand clamped down onto her shoulder. Revonair stood over her. He smiled wickedly.
"Been a while since I enjoyed the company of a women. Hold the boys."
20 men came in and held down Heero and Vahn, they were abnormally strong. Revonair picked Vey up and held her in the sir, ripping away the cloth form her mouth she whimpered, he was dead...dead.
"Oh gross..."
Revonair forced his mouth down on her's and kissed her, she turned an interestign shade of green. She gagged as she felt him force his tounge into her mouth. He pulled away leaving her to couhg and sputter.
"She's extrodinary. Have you taken her young captin? She's lovely."
Vey's eyes widened as he pushed her agianst a wall.
"No...Not agian...please...HEERO!"
Revonair's laugh filled the cell as Vey screamed.

Vahn tried to bring on the force that serged through him once again..but couldn't..he was in shock by their strong hold,

Heero stopped struggling as the two pirates looked at the teen whos body hung lifelessly in their arms

'HEEERRROOOO!!!!,' came the words that skretched out of Veys mouth as her clothes were torn

At that moment Heero litfed his head, anger swelled inside of him...a hate so deep...so sinister..something even he had never felt before...his eyes suddenly began to glow red as his breathing became shallow and quick

Outside the Rose sailed towards the bank and embedded itself in the sand, Jericho, Byron and tanzin were thrown forward by the Rose's attempts to get to Heero, suddenly she glowed with a red aura the same as Heero...an aura of pure hatered and evil,

Jericho adn the other two jumped down from the ship to fight the oncoming horde suddenly Devils Rose opened up her front canons and opened fire

VEEEYYYY!!!!,' roared Heero as his muslces tensed and he drove both pirates back into the wall crushing them hard, He stepped back and began smashing them, bones crunched as he slammed his fists into their faces and their faces caved in but still they stood, Heero's heart burned with rage and he smiled as he grabbed the burning torch of the wall and drove it deep into one of the dead pirates faces burning them from the inside out...the power he felt was that of Rose

Heero then ran over to revonair and ripped him off Vey who hurried out of the way, he had managed to undo her pants but that was it, although he had tore her shirt, Heero's rage became more wilder and agressive...noone had seen him like this before...not even Vey...

Vahn had gotten out of the pirates grips and tied the chains around their necks and pulled it, banging their heads together and then tearing their heads off...but what shocked him was that they still moved...laughing at him tauntingly..no blood was spilled....

'Oh shit!!!,' exclaimed Vahn as the heads began rolling towards their bodies, him and Vey looked at each other then suddenly they kicked the heads clean out the door and in doing so their bodies ran after them

'Oh GROSS!!,' grunted Vey and they turned to find Heero and Revonair looking at each other in a haunting silence Heero still had a red aura around him...Then Revonair spoke

'So...you hold the power of the Devils Rose...that was my power you stole..' snarled Revonair

'Stole???...' spoke Heero in a distant tone, 'She chose me....'

'You little bastard...she belongs to me.!!!,' roared Revonair his eyes filled with rage...at that moment a red mist entered the room and slowly spiralled around Heero's body, he closed his eyes...then opened them

Vey and Vahn gasped as they saw his eyes had turned black...there was no hint of colour...they were like black pits of emptiness, his face was pale, his smile sinister and his image ghostly

'What the...' gasped Revonair as he looked at Heero, 'Who are you!!!...I want my Rose!!,'

'I AM THE DEVILS ROSE!!!.' Heero roared but not in his voice...but in an evil demonic echoing tone as if two poeple were speaking at once, 'The ship you built with your own blood and sweat...the ship you killed with...all those lives you slaughtered for your own power and greed!!!...I AM THE DEVILS ROSE!!!...THE ONE YOU CREATED!!!...,'

'Ah yes...my Devils Rose...the ship that holds a power far greater than that of any other and feared by many who sail the seas...the one who I created and put my soul into...the BITCH WHO LEFT ME TO DIE!!!!....I CREATED YOU...YOU ARE MINE!!!....AND I"LL RIP YOU APART!!!,' roared Revonair

Heero began to laugh sinisterly, 'I am not yours anymore Revonair...I belong to Heero...he is my captain...my heart...his heart is good..and with his strength, compassion and loyalty I will over come you......we will always be one in soul and in heart.. and no amount of power will ever part us..not even you,'

Revonair laughed, 'Then you also know that you have a brother...one stronger than you... Satans Sin...he is more powerful than you and the yumura put together..he is pure evil!! and We'll sink you both!!!,'

'We will meet again...and you can guarantee...I will sink you for good,' snarled Heero as the mist suddenly slammed into Revonair holding him against the wall so he couldn't move, a huge explosion then shook the ground as Heero colapsed, Vahn quickly grabbed Heero and put him over his shoulder as they ran from the room

Running out of the stone building they found the Devils Rose firing wildly at the many pirates who ran towards her, Jericho, Byron and Tanzin fought violently with the ones who had made it past with missing limbs and heads, the Rose lifted them all onto her deck and pulled back, her form shuddered as she slipped into the water and sailed out of the bay with the canons still roaring, the Yumura joined her side as they sailed off quickly

Vey rushed to Heero's side as Vahn put him down on the deck, blood spilled everywhere from his body

'Heero....Heero..please,' cried Vey as Vahn sat on the other side looking down at him, Jericho, Byron and Tanzin looked torn up, blood stainned their clothes from the fighting

'HEERO!!!,' roared Vahn suddenly Heero stirred and looked up...his eyes were back to normal but his face still pale...he had remembered what Vahn had done for him but he couldn't remember what happened after pulling Revonair off Vey, raising his hand shakely to rest on Vahns shoulder

'Thank you....,' whispered Heero as he slowly sat up and smiled at Vahn, he then turned to Vey and placed a hand on her cheek and wiped the tears away, 'are you alright?'

'Yes..' she spoke shakely, 'but look what they did to you....,'

'I'm ok...they'll heal...more scars to add to the collection,' smiled Heero weakly, 'Is everyone else ok?'

'Yeah Heero,' said Jericho

Vahn and Vey then helped Heero off the deck, he up and down the deck, 'Thank you Rose and Yumura...' he whispered before passing out, Byron then took him off Vahn and Vey and carried him to the captains quarters

Vey sighed as Tanzin and Byron laid Heero down on his bed.
"I'll take it from here, thanks."
She retrevied the bandages and began to wrap Heero's back, as she finished ahs fished around his room for an extra shirt to wear other than her torn one, finding one she pulle dit on and lay down beside him and slept.

Vahn hadn't seen what the Lady had become, she was back to normal.

Vey Soon left Heero's room, and was at Vahn's side. Vahn pretends he is unaware of her, lost in thought. He has his own thoughts. After a few minutes, Vey speaks.

"Vahn???" Vey is tentaive, she's slightly afraid.

"Yes?" Vahn is trying hard not to look at her........

"You..... like Heero." Vahn is caught off guard, he wasn't expecting this. His cheeks redden. Vey laughs.

"You're interesting......really wierd too.."

"I am who I am." Vahn's voice is small, like he's on the verge of tears.

"Please, don't be insulted!!!! I like you as well, you're a great fighter...."

Vahn's quiet is strange, and Vey continues. "You really like Heero, don't you?"

Vahn nods, glad his cloak his his face. His cheeks were burning now.

"Vahn..... Look at me."

Vahn turns to her, but his head is bowed. "I'm...... sorry."

"There is nothing to be sorry about. You fell for him, its natural....... " Vey smiles. "Heero likes you too, you know."

"No......" Vahn feels empty, like his organs have been ripped away. Vey only embraces Vahn. "It's alright....... You are so confused..... So helpless."

"I'm not-"

"Yes, yes you are. I know too well the story of your family..... your upbringing..."

Vey hugs him tighter. "I'm here for you.......So is Heero."

Vahn pulls away. "I thank you..... but this is not needed." Vahn turns, his cloak billowing in the breeze. "Do you mind if I talk to Heero?"

"No.. go right on ahead."

Vahn enters the room quietly, Heero is lying on the bed. "Are... you asleep?" Vahn asks, in a tiny voice barely audible.

"No." Heero's eyes are on Vahn, and Vahn suddenly feels self-concious. "Do you want me to go?? I'll leave you alone."

"No. please stay and talk to me for awhile."

Vahn sits in a chair at Heero's bedside.

"What.... do you want to talk about??" Vahn is scared, and his redish eyes show it. The dark innocence wasn't there, but fear.

"Come closer."

Vahn scoots some, but is still at a distance. Heero becons more, and soon Vahn is at his side.

"You were talking to Vey just now, right?"

Vahn nods. "Yeah.... yes I was."

"What did you talk about?"

Vahn's slight intone captures Heero's smile. "Don't ask a question to which you already know the answer."

Heero thinks on that, and his smile widens. "Tell me about your family...."

Vahn conceeds. "Why?"

"Because I know next to nothing about you. Only what I've heard. I want to hear it from your mouth."

Vahn sighs. " There's not much to tell."

Vahn sighs again, settleing into his chair.

"I was young.......when I first expeirienced the touch of Death. My people were desacrated.... And my Mother and those few who survived fled aboard the Lady Yumura. The crew was really fun, always supplying mje with learning and fun. I got strong. The Lady Yumura entertained me as well, often playing rounds of hideing my toys. But two years passed, and We were attacked again by Revinor or whatever his name is."

Heero's expression saddens. "you were on the run for two years?"

"Yes. Revi- whatever boarded us, and had all his pirates slaughter everyone. My Mother hid me away in a lifeboat, and lowered it, before Revionor attacked her as well...... he...did things to her.I was forced to watch."

Heeor looks at Vahn now, Vahn's begining to shake. "How horrid..... For so young a child to go through with that..."

"He threw me into the waves, and I was thankfully a good swimmer.... and we were near our homeland. I was treading water as I watched his sword peirce my mother's belly,through her all the way. He left, laughing, back to his ship. She called to me as she bled, wanting me to swim away. I obeyed, and i was soon a target for cannoinballs. I became an assassin after........"

"You're one tough cookie..."

Vahn smiles at this, his reddish eyes livening. "Why on earth did you want me to tell that??"

"Because i wanted to hear it."

Vahn stands, to leave. "I should be going. I'll leave you to your thoughts...."

He begins to turn, but Heero has clasped onto his wrist. "No... Stay."

Vahn obeys, unsure why. "Alright."


Vahn and Heero discuss many things, and Heero hears Vahn laugh for the very first time. "You.....laughed."

"Is it so strange?? I am happy now, is it wrong to laugh at a joke?"

"Nope." Hero smiles as well, before Vey comes in and hands out food. It's green, and Vahn's color soon matches.

"You made this????" He asks, unsure of what it was.

Vey gets huffy. "Yeah, I did, now eat!!!"

Heero takes a small bite, and hacks it down. Vahn stares. "It's not poisonous????"

Vey slaps the back of Vahn's head. "You little brat!!!! How dare you make fun of my cooking!!!"

Vahn stands. "Hmph. I think your cooking skills are in need of refinement."

Vahn whirls away, and returns withing the hour, carting what seems to be a feast.

"try this in for size."

"On, Vahn, it 'on for size'"

"Oh." Vahn passes out the food, and Vey seems to become angry.

"Something wrong???" Vahn is alarmed.

"No," says Vey, cracking a smile. "I just don't like it when people cook better than me."

Heero laughs, and as Vahn goes to leave, asks Vahn to stay and eat with them.

Vahn is highly suspicious, but hesitantly agrees.

Vey's eyes enlargen as she wolf's down the food.
"Ish is gweat!"
Heero choked trying to laugh as well as Vahn. Vey's cheeks began to burn as she swallowed the food in her mouth.
"Actually, the twins helped me make that...why do you think I wasn't touchin the stuff? But this is way better than what I've EVER made!"
Vey became somber and looked at Heero.
"Heero, do you-Do you think Reonair will come back after the Rose? Like he did the last time?"
Heero stopped eatting and thought a moment.
"I dunno."
Vey set the plate on the bed-side table.
"You know he's following us right? We shouldn't just sit here and wait for that to happen again...we should do something about it."
Vahn looked at her.
"What's in your head girl? What do you have in mind?"
"We lure him into a false hood and attack."
"They can't die."
"No, but I noticed something, did that ship seem...I dunno, hesitant to listen to him?"
Heero nodded.
"Like it was afriad."
Vey smiled and nodded.
"Perhapes if we can...I dunno, convince that ship to join the Rose, we can win."
Heero frowned, he didn't know what to think at this moment, and Vey could see it.
"Look never mind, we'll discuss it later, right now you need your rest."
She led Vahn out and went back and sat at the foot of his bed.
"Heero, what should we do? What can I do? I was afraid Heero...I thought he was gonna-gonna..."
Her sobs cut off her voice, Heero wrapped his arms around her and rocked her back and forth.
"It's alright Vey...It's alright."
She buried her face in his chest and began to settle down.
"Heero, I don't want to lose you so please, please becareful, don't leave me alone..."
She looked up at him and sighed, kissing him lightly she pushed him onto his back and cuddled up to him.
"Sleep Heero, you need it."
She kissed his neck and thoguth about what they were gong to do about Revonair, Heero hugged her tight and sighed.

Heero lay there in the dark for what seemed an eternity, he knew Revonair was looking for them...he could feel it through Rose...he couldn't sleep..he kissed Vey on the forehead as she slept soundly

'I won't belong...' he whispered as left her side and staggered sorely to the door, without touching the handle the door opened, and he smiled knowing that it was Rose...He slowly walked out onto the deck and walked to the front of the ship and sat down looking out across the water that glistened in the moonlight like diamonds, Heero then pulled out his fathers medallion and looked at it deeply

'Father...what do I do?...Revonair will find us again...no matter where we go I know he's following not far behind...' whispered Heero

At that moment a red mist swelled over the deck, Heero frowned as he watched it...suddenly a voice startled him and he jumped from his spot, pain shot through his body and he dropped to his knees

'Please...don't be afraid....Captain' came a haunting but soothing voice, Heero looked up and there in the middle of the deck stood a ghostly form of a young lady dressed in red, the moonlight shone right through her casting no shadow of her form on the deck

Heero stood up...in didn't feel afraid as she walked towards him, her hair and dress blowing in the warm gental breeze

'Who are you?' questioned Heero as she now stood infront of him

'I am the Devils Rose...I am this ship,' she smiled, she was beautiful all Heero could do was smile at her

'Why does Revonair want you back so badly?' questioned Heero

The ghostly figure moved to the side and looked out at the sea

'Revonair is a cruel...cold-hearted man...he always was...when he built me he built me out of hatered, anger, greed everything horrible which makes him who he is..who he was...he practically built me with a soul...and treated me like how he treated his women...which was very poorly..I grew to hate him with every moment...he destroyed so many innocent people which I couldn't bear any longer...but the one that made me turn was a girl..she was only fourteen...he killed her parents and brought her aboard me and there...he stole everything from her...he tore her apart steeling her innocence...I can still hear her screams...I felt her soul get crushed with every moment...I hated him so badly...him and his worthless crew...that night after he finished with her they hung her from my mast...i tired so hard to stop them but she whispered to me...that she wanted to go...because if they didn't do it...then she would...so I let her go,' spoke the Rose as tears rolled down her face, 'and the next day I killed his spirit...I still remember his words..."I will hunt you down and I don't care how long it takes me but I'll make sure I sink you"....I knew he would..and he knew that I had already choosen someone to commande me but he didn't know who it was,'

'But...that was a very long time ago...I wasn't even born...how were you able to choose me?' questioned Heero looking at her

'It was the day he struck down your father...with Satan's Sin..my brother...I saw you threw my brothers sails...I saw into your heart that night...I saw everything...and I knew...right from that moment that it had to be you and only you...thats how your wraft ended out on that Island because I led your wraft to me...and I knew that you wouldn't leave me there...you patched me up...you showed me love...your heart showed me more than Revonair...and I'm happy to be your Devils Rose...because I vow never to be with any other captain..and...the day you go down...I will too..my soul is yours forever..and thats how it'll be..I will always stand beside you..with you,' spoke the Rose as she turned around and looked at Heero

'And for that...I am greatful...and so...our souls are forever,' smiled Heero, 'Thank you...for saving me,'

'No my Captain...thank you..for saving me,' she smiled

'There's one more thing I must ask...your brother do you think we can get him to join with us?' questioned Heero

'Vey is right..he is scared but he will not join with us...his loyalty is with Revonair...he will never rebel against Revonair...and Heero...he is following us but i'll take him a while before he'll catch us because of the link has gone btween us...I'll let you know when he is near,' she smiled at that moment she disappeared and the red mist was gone..but he could feel her pressence as always

'Thank you Devils Rose,' he smiled as he sat back down for a moment, suddenly Jericho walked out onto the deck

'Heero??...what are you doing? your ment to be resting,' spoke Jericho as he rubbed his eyes

'I just needed to think for a moment,' spoke Heero as he smiled at Jericho who sat down beside him

'How you feeling?' questioned Jericho

'Good and You?'

'Ok i guess apart from the aching from trying to kill those bastards...and anyway what are we going to do? we should hunt the bastard down and send him to his grave for good,' said Jeircho with worry in his eyes

'I'd love to do that but...lets not go looking for trouble esspecially something we don't need...we'll continue to look for Raverns Treasure,' said Heero

'And what happens when he finds us again?' questioned Jericho

'We'll have to trust the Rose...she'll let us know when he's around...I know that we can't keep running but right now we all need to heal for the next fight because after that fight in Sandor we aren't ready to take on Revonair at this moment...Like I said trust Rose...but i must say even she can't keep dodging him..there will come a time when we meet him again and when we do..we will be ready,' smiled Heero

'Ok Heero..besides i'm glad she's on our side,' smiled Jericho as they stood up

'Goodnight Heero,' said Jericho

'Night Jericho,' said Heero as they went back to their rooms

Heero slipped in beside Vey as she curled up closer to him putting her arm around him, He kissed her fore head and then fell asleep

Vey woke later to feel safe and warm. She steched, catlike against Heero elechting amoan from him.
"Morning Captin."
Heero cracked an eye open.
"Don't call me that."
She rolled ontop of him straddeling his waist and smiled kissing his forehead.
"Yes, I know, but it;s an endearment."
Heero thought on this a moment and smiled wrapping his arms around her and pulling her down for a kiss.
"Than I suppose it's alright, but only from you."
She smiled and licked his lips giggleing.
"You keep that up Vey flower we'll be late for breakfst."
"Who said I wanted breakfast?"
She wiggled her hip for emphasis making Heero smile and respond.
"Your insatable aren't you?"
Vey chuckled.
"When it comes to you and food, always."
"Yet your passing up food for me?"
"Any time Captin."
Heero ran his hands up her legs to rest on her hips.
"I had a dream last night Heero, about the Rose and you, you were talking to her and she could speak to you as well."
Heero paused.
"That was no dream Vey Flower."
"I didn't think so. She is very loyal, this dear Rose."
"That she is."
Vey lay down ontop of Heero, her head under his chin listening to his heart beat.
"Heero, do you think we'll ever fing the treasue?"
"Soon, yes, I think so."
"Good, I hope so. Than maybe we can live a normal life on the sea, just us and the others."
She sat up smileing.
"We could watch Jericho and the twins get drunk every night and I could play for them while they dance and you and me, we could be together without fear of loseing the other."
Vey kissed his eye lids as he closed them and imagine it as she described.

Heero loved the way she described their future together..it brought a sense of peace

'Well in hopes to find that treasure...we'd better get going and go through those chest that we found on the Calesteria, theres got to be something within there,' smiled Heero as he kissed her gently on the mouth

They both got up and got dressed and walked down to the kitchen where everyone sat eating

'Well wondered when you two were going to get up,' smiled Byron, Heero sat down with Vey right beside

Heero then spoke about the calesteria and Raverns Treasure, after having breakfast they all sat on deck going through everything, Heero suddenly found a scroll, going over it he found it to be written in code...a type of ancient writing that none of them have ever seen before, Vahn then found another scroll with had on it how to uncode the other scroll

'Great!,' smiled Heero, 'It's going to take a while to uncode all of this so lets get started,'

Heero lay the decoding scroll out flat and then laid the other down beside it,

After two hours Heero managed to uncode the whole book which seemed to read:

"Follow the moon that rises in the west which shall relive the Tellin glow, Turn left to go north 10 miles from the shore and follow the clouds of Garn, from there follow the winds of Twin mount to cross through the path of death...beyond this point is Zeldaria...an Island which hold me fortune

But heed my warning...only those who make it through Path of Death will be the only ones who will leave with my treasure"

'What the hell do you call that!!,' exclaimed Jericho

'Well it's the map...if i remember rightly Tellin is about three days from here but to make sure we are going to the right place we'll have to wait for tonight to start heading towards it...we must follow the map percisely or else we won't get anywhere, we'll anchor in Tellin and stock up on supplies, if I remember that place is quite nice and the people a very friendly,' said Heero

'Great I can't wait!! the treasure hunt begins!!,' smiled Vey as Byron and Tanzin laughed

'Hey Heero..whats the Path of Death?' questioned Vahn, 'not even i've heard of it,'

'I don't think any of us have,' said Jericho

'We have,' spoke Byron as everyone looked at the two brothers whos eyes grew serious, 'Path of Death is a huge dark long tunnel in the wall of the twin mount they say it's oppening is fifty feet and a half a mile wide and it stays like that throughout the whole tunnel,...you can't see nothing though..not even the ending...its twenty miles long and sometimes...the swells inside of it touch the roof and can easily crush any ship that sails through there..you have to time it perfectly before going threw or else you'll never come out a live...no ship has survived the path of Death, some have seen it and have ended out turning back because they were too scared,'

'Do you know where it is?' questioned Jericho

'No...we don't know..we have only heard about it,' said Tanzin

The Rose shuddered as if to tell them that she will make it through

'Well i'm up for the challenge..if anyone else is,' smiled Heero as he looked

'Well boy you are just like your father!!,' laughed Byron, 'and you can count Tanzin and I in,'

'And me!,' smiled Jericho

'Great!,' smiled Heero and he turned to Vey and Vahn, 'What about you two..there's no pressure,'

Vey walked towards him and pressed her body against his as Heero put his arms around her

"Let's find that treasure!"
She smiled as Heero nodded and looked at Vahn.
"Aren't you coming?"
Vahn nodded and she nodded back.
"Good."
She wiggeled free from Heero and ran to the side of the Rose and jumped onto the edge.
"Who's up for a swim?"
Heero blinked as she fell backwards and into the water, the Rose stopped as Heero followed her laughing, tanzin, Byron and Jericho soon joined them. Vahn looked down at them from the deck and smiled.
"What are you fools doing?"
Vey smiled back.
"Haveing fun, don't you know what that is?"
"Of corse I do, Iv'e just never done this before..."
"Well jump in and try it!"
She laughed as the Rose lifted him and dropped him into the water from the mast.

Heero laughed at Vahn as he appeared beside him

'Nice?' questioned Heero

'Yeah it is...refreshing,' smiled Vahn, at that moment Heero and Vahn were lifted up out of the water by Byron and Tanzin who threw them over to Jericho, they laughed as they came up for air, for the rest of the day they swam around...just relaxing

*nightfall*

Heero stod at the wheel, as they watched the Moon rise in the east

'Well...there she is,' said Heero as the sails filled with air and they headed east

'Man what a night,' smiled Jericho as he lent against the side of the ship watching the moonlight dance on the ocean, Vey stood beside Heero and lent against him, she looked at his face, the moon casting an eerie glow over his eyes and she could see the worried look

'Lover...whats wrong?' she asked softly as he turned his attention to her

'I feel him...Revonair...he isn't close...but I know he's there,' he whispered

Vey put her hand to his cheek, 'Don't worry..we've all been through too much now to let that bastard ruin everything...when he finds us...we'll be ready,'

Heero grabbed her hand and placed it on his chest, she could feel his heart beat thumping in his chest

'I know,' he smiled

At that moment Vajn called out from below

'GRUBS UP...COME AND GET IT!!!....TANZIN SPECIAL,' smiled Vahn

'Cool!!!,' exclaimed Vey as they went down below

Vahn munched quietly, thinking. He was so deep in thought he didn't realize that there was a food fightr going on untill a pie sailed by his face. a second later, he catches an apple from the air.

Vahn looks deeply disturbed, so everyone crowds him.

"Back off!!!!" he growls. Heero leans forward, and smiles. "what's bothering you??"

"It's -"


"Nothing. Liar. You've been quiet. You're thinking of possibilities or something."

"I..... want to return home."

Heero almost falls over. "But... Your home was once destroyed, right??"

Vahn stands. "I want to return to Aras Meshthai...... The land of Eternal Winter.... There is somnething I want to do. We're siling torwards there right now, I won't be long."

Heero looks at Vahn and sat down

'Well ok then...if you want me to come...I can..but if you don't thats fine,' spoke Heero as he finished off his meal and went up top to the wheel deck

Heero sat on the crates on the wheel deck in deep thought as he looked at his fathers medallion

'So father...I just remembered...I never got the chance to say good bye to you...mind you...it's not good bye is it...we'll meet again...I know it..but I hope I can make you proud of me,' whispered Heero

Heero looked up and saw Aras Mesthai, in the moonlight the island looked haunting...for some ungodly reason it made Heero smile...he had never been there before...and he felt hypnotised by its haunting beauty

'What a beautiful place,' smiled Heero as the Rose lowered the achor and awaited Vahn to come up top to go over, around the island it was too shallow for the rose to get any closer so she anchored just off shore but as close as she could get, Heero leaned against the side looking out at the Island

The bitter cold was peirceing, and Vahn was seemingly unaffected.

"Vahn.... how could your people stand this???" Asks Heero, holding himself. Vahn smiles cruelly in response. "Why do you want to know that?? I think it feel wonderful."

Vahn jumps into the water, ans swims to shore. Heero stares after him, his eyeswide in disbeleif. "that crazy fool....."

Heero himself takes his time, and eventually he comes ashore in a small boat. He's alone, he had thought that was how Vahn would want it.

Vahn himself is up ahead, slowly making his way up the island. Heero looks around as he catches up. Everything here was old, looking far older than it should. Vahn was silent, but Heero dislikes the fact that Vahn isn't telling him anything.

"Vahn, what's up? What do you want to see??? Why are we here???"

Vahn sighs. "This island is one giant grave now. You see only so much, all the bones are now under the snow. I want to go to the palace."

"Palace???"

"My home." Vahn begins to walk faster, his cloak beginning to billow in the strangely warm wind. There was no snow here, and Heero notes that Vahn seems to be radiateing warmth. Vahn is red in the face, and Heero can only guess what's going through his head.

Vahn is thinking of just how alone the two of them were..... among other things.

Vahn stops before a huge oaken door, and swings it open. Inside, vahn snaps his fingers, and torches light up.

"How the hell?!"

"Don't be alarmed. It's just something my people came up with. Like I'm sure you noted the warm wind? That too was part of my city....... Why we could stand the cold here."

Heero nods in amazement, and the two of them make their way to the throne room.

But, there is is horrid surprise.

Revonair. He holds with him two beautiful women.

Vahn whirls. [B]"[I]How dare you!!!!!"[/I][/B] He screams.

The two women are dressed in torn and bloody white dresses, and are chained together.

"What's the matter. little Vahn, Aren't you happy to see your sisters?"

"You feind!!!! They died when you attacked the island!!!! You butchered them!!!"

"and I have brought them back from the other side, it is an easy task for me"

"They aren't my family!!!"

the girls shed tears, weeping for the brother that had denied them just now.

"I have been so kind as to give them flesh as well...... How sad to be family to you."

Heero watched Vahn, suddenly scared. He fears not Vahn himself, but what Vahn could do. "Vahn..... come on.. it's not real....come on......" He tries to coax Vahn to come with him, but is failing. Vahn's reddish eyes once again seem to emit a faint light. His dark looks seem to intensify his angered expression

"Vahn......." Heero whispers. His voice reaches Vahn, almost too late.

"I am Vahn Yumura, last prince of Ares Meshthai. You will fall, Revonair, I can promise that."

Revonair yanks on the chains that bind the girls. "I will keep these two as my prisoners...."

The girls whimper, and the youngest cries out. "Vahn, please, help me!"

"Yalia!!!!" Vahn suddenly has his knives out and poised to throw, he flings one into Revonair's shoulder, making him drop the chains.

The Girls run to Vahn, the two of them shaking and cold. Revonair smirks, and somehow fades into the night.

Vahn snaps the chains, and holds his sisters tight. They hug him as well, and then they turn to Heero.

"Vahn? Is this your boyfreind?" Asks the older one. Vahn turns a very, very, bright shade of red. "No!" He says, rather quickly. Heero looks away, embarrased.

"Heero, these are my sisters...... Yalia, and Aiyaika." They courtsy as best they can, and Heero bows.

"Vahn...... we know whet you've been doing lately... We know you have the Lady Yumura..... Please, we must see it....before we have to go back to the realm of the dead." Aiyaika starts.

Vahn sighs. "I know.... Most spells that return the dead only last so long..."

Vahn begins to make his way back to the ship, but he passes a huge monolithe, and the three siblings kneel before it and aknowledge those who lost their lives.

"Vahn.... almost twenty years have passed...." Yalia says, before gasping.

"Vahn?" Heero looks rathr angry. "You lied about your age.... How old are you?"

"I will tell later, after my sisters depart to the other side."

Vahn knows well how old he was, he was close to thirty, but he no longer aged, thanks to an enchanted gem he'd had sewn into his back. Heero looks like he'd like to pressure Vahn into telling him everything about Vahn, including just who these girls were.

They all make their way back to the Ship, the Lady Yumura's Rose creeks and groans. It reconizes its masters.

"Heero, we want to eat before I let my sisters leave..... Is it alright???"

"Yeah. Sure. Heero smiles as Vey saunters up to them. "Hm....... Cheating on me?"

Vahn makes a funny noise, but Vey knows full well what goes through Vahn's head."Joking Vahn, i asure you."

"Tell me, who are these two??" she asks, her eywes looking them up and down.

"Vahn's sisters, Yalia and Aiyaika."

Aiyaika bows, deeply, and she nearly falls over. Yalia seems to be scared. Vahn picks her up and caries her piggy back into the mess hall.

Aiyaika follows, and Vey And Heero watch, concerned.

"It's going to be hard for him to let go...... They are only here for a short time, you know." Heero looks down at his feet. "I feel baddly for him......"

Vahn comes running out, followed by his sisters. They leap onto the Lady. Thick billowing mist churns up, hideing the Lady. It is sometime before Vahn returns alone. He looks angered, like someone hurt his sisters.

"They...left..... And they are back on the other side." Vahn hides something, Heero can tell.

Heero smiles, and puts his arm around Vahn. Vahn sighs, and sinks to the deck. "So...Tired....." Vahn falls forward, but heero catches him before his face hits the hard wood.

"Vahn!!! Come one. Wake up Vahn!"

The girls appear again, but they no longer have bodies. "He was poisoned....... He shall never wake." Aiyaika says, her tears falling.

Yalia moves forward. "Only a kiss from the person her cares for most will save him... and they must be alive."

The two fade, departing to the other side."Please save him........ He is our last hope in this world........"

Vahn is carried into a room, and his clothes are taken off. Heero wants to do this alone, but Vey is just outside the door. Heero Painstakingly removes all of Vahn's plate armour, and then proceeds to look for the wound that did this To Vahn. "Damn it...... You're always so tough....... Why pick now to get poisoned??"

Heero notices a small mark of Vahn's lower back, and he decides that he will ask Vahn about that later.

"Damn it!!!! where the hell is that wound???"

Vahn's epression worsens, like he is in extreme pain.

"Vahn......" Heero whispers, looking over Vahn's body for the eighth time. "Come one, please wake up.... Those damn sisters did this to you.........right??? I'm never trusting any of your family....."

Outside, the Ladfy Seems to be wobbleing, sinking lower into the water. She seems to grow in worse condition as well, her sails becomeing little more than shreds, and her wood greyer with each passing moment.

OOC perhaps Heero can slip on something and accidentially kiss Vahn???? This would make a lot of things clear..... like who Vahn likes most....... if it isn't already.
