[COLOR=SlateGray][SIZE=1]Taking out her kimono out of her bag, she laid it down. Examining the shades of blue, thinking of Blynd's comment earlier. She didn't really want to know why she was even thinking of his comment. Ryu had been talking to him, before Lyn had pulled him away during the middle of their conversation. Trying to recall what they had talked about...She couldn't. Zen had been pulled away by Ouka a few minutes after she had heard her yell his name. [i]"I'll ask Ryu or Blynd next time I see them."[/i] she said, whispering to her-self.

Taking off the over hang netting she folded it and placed it next to the out stretched kimono. As she eventually finished, she slipped the skirt like half of the kimono. Looking over next to the sash she made sure every thing had been folded correctly, lifting the pile she lightly slide it into the bag. Taking up the slash she held it in her mouth at one end. The other was wound around her right hand. Folding the left flap over the right she tied it around her waist. Lining her fingers around the bow in the back, she knew it was slightly crocked. Walking over to the more still water she turned to the side. Trying to adjust it made it a bit loose. Pulling on the bow again she tightened it. Spinning she held grasp to the basic ideal of how she looked. Noticing that she still had her black and blue bonnet on, she untied it. Slipping it underneath the slash around her waist, the two long black strings tangled out. But it looked just find to her.

Getting her bag, she walked over back to the water's edge and stared down.

Not lifting her head Zen called to the other "Let me know when your all ready."
"Your done?" Ouka replied.
"Yes."
Lyn came over, "Then how about guarding the area. So Ouka can change too."
"Alright."

Standing, Zen went over to Ouka was. They exchanged a quick smiled and Ouka went further back to change into her kimono.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Magenta]Rena, Mistrial, Hotaru, Zen, and Lyn were done changing. They were all complimenting Mistrials Kimono "Oh I just love your Kimono Mistrial it looks very beautiful on you." "Very" "Aww so kawaii" " Yeah Mistrail why didn't you get me one " Mistrail was laughing with the attention " puahaha I love being a rare hunter " Ouka was done changing. "alright you can come done Zen I think they're being good boys" Zen smiled and nodded. They were all waiting for Naomi. Mistrail jumped up and down "HURRY HURRY!!!" Naomi laughed "Hold on I'm almost done"[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Trying to hurry Naomi quickly got done she had picked out a white Kimono with a little purple on it to match her hair. "Alright I'm done."said Naomi she started to walk towards the girls when she tripped and fell right on her face."Oh that hurt,oh I'm am so graceful."said Naomi."Its ok I'm fine."yelled Naomi.She got herself up and brushed herself off. Looking up at the other hoping they wouldn't laugh to much at her.The others asked if she was ok"Yeah I'm fine lets get going."Said Naomi.So they started to walk to where they had left the boys.

Blynd frowned at himself, having just finished changing into his wine-red kimono with the sash to match, his black boots a decent pairing of color with the deep crimson of the cloth. He did not, however, unclip the two longswords at his sides, in case they should become necessary. Blynd felt naked without his weapons anyway, and would rarely part with them under any circumstances. Stepping out of the armor shop, he adjusted the sash before sauntering off moodily towards the Chaos Gate. With a dramatic wave of one hand, he whispered as quietly as he could.

"Ahh....[i]Lovers Passing Road.[/i]"

Blynd watched his surroundings disappear, replaced with forest and a pool below. The Twin Blade had appeared atop a small cliff, beside a river that became a waterfall and flowed down into the pond below. He caught movement at the edge of the pool, though whoever it was, they were on their way out. Blynd sighed to himself.

[i]Why am I here again?[/i]

[i]Oh, I remember. Mischief. Mischief, disorder and chaos....[/i]

Without a backward glance, Blynd leapt off the edge of the cliff on which he stood. Rotating twice in midair, the warrior landed in a crouch in the shallow end of the rock pool below. Deciding to follow whoever it was that was at the pool before him, Blynd scanned for footprints on the ground. There were several sets, and Blynd began to follow them, hoping they would lead to the main road. He must have been walking fast, because after a few minutes of walking through woodland, Blynd began to hear voices a few meters ahead of him. Slowing down so as not to be heard, the Twin Blade accidently stepped on a dry stick...

Ryu sat down at one of the tree's and started telling balmung"you like lyn don't you"? Balmung blushed Ryu said"you should show her your emotions" suddenly he heard the girls walking back. Ryu stared at all the beauties and said "WOW" suddenly he heard a crack. only Ryu and Ouka heard a crack Ryu told everyone stay where you are we'll check it out lyn "What the hell are you talking about" Ouka responded "We heard a crack" Suddenly both Ryu and Ouka ran to where they heard the crack I smell something ouka said. yeah i smell it too. they started growling Grrrrrrrr then in an instant they attacked the stranger. the stranger drew his sword and tried to hit Ryu. Ryu dodged it but then crashed into a tree Ouka didn't miss she tackled the stranger and suddenly....

[COLOR=SlateGray][SIZE=1]After Ouka and Ryu left, the tree tops begun to shake. They could hear breaking of a few, Lyn shook her head in disapproval. They listened as a few more trees begun to snap. Green leaves fell to the ground, Lyn smashed the ones that landed near her into pieces. A small wind came and picked up the pieces. Zen watched as Lyn grew a bit angry.

"Argh!" she exclaimed, "They're going to mess up the event!"

Suddenly, Lyn and Balmung walked threw the trees over to where they heard the fighting. The two moved back, dodging a tree that fell in front of them. Lyn grunted as the rest of them came threw the trees.

Lyn raised her hand into the air, calling upon a fairly weak ice spell. She cast it around Blynd's feet. Ryu moved back, still in a stance motion of fighting. Ouka stood in a ready to move position, she licked her lips quickly showing a smug smile. The two resumed a normal stand point. Lyn no longer had an angry look on her face. However, since she had choose to use her level one spell the ice was almost completely gone. Still she was happier now, hoping they could get back to the event. Zen smiled, waving to Blynd.

"Hi, Blynd." she called out.

Lyn and Ryu glanced over at her, [i]"You know him?"[/i] they said symmetrically. Zen didn't answer instead she backed down, Balmung grunted. His grunt went off replaced by a small laugh. The other confused and no real reaction of which they thought would have been appropriate.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Magenta]Lyn and everyone else just stared at ouka and ryu Lyn whispered to Zen "What the hell are those two doing don't they know thats Blynd?" Zen shook her head "Well they're in for a suprise..." Blynd began to feel agrivated and drew his sword "Back off you mangie mutts." Ouka and Ryu changed back to human form "Blynd?! o_O" Ouka and Ryu apologized to Blynd while he yelled his head off about how childish the attaks were. Lyn shook her head and walked over to Balmung and wrapped her arm around his "So..." Balmung blushed in all sorts of Red "Are you all ready?" Balmung practically melted in her arms "Uh...e-everyone come on let's get going to the event" Balmung and Lyn started walking back to the Chaos Gate Mistrial jumped in the air " YAY! R-A-R-E all of those rare items are all for me!" Hotaru, Reina, Zen, and Naomi fell back anime style. Mistrial stared at them "Was I that horrible?" Reina helped Hotaru up "You can say that Mistrial" Hotaru picked up her grunty "I'm sorry Mistrial but Reinas right you could say that" Zen and Naomi sorta snikered at Mistrial. Mistrial pouted and walked to the Chaos Gate. They were all at the Choas gate they waited until Ouka, Ryu, and Blynd caught up. "Ready?" Lyn asked. Everyone agreed by nodding their heads. Lyn smiled "Alright!" She put her right hand up "To the Tanabata Event" Rings surrounded them and materialized them to the Event. Pink Red and White Laterns were lit and everything seemed to glow. "Whoa..." Ryu said. Everyone looked around with aw except Blynd. He enjoyed the view he just didn't want to show it. Lyn walked around "Come on lets put up our wishes in the bamboo trees" Mistrial had a twisted smile I know what I'm gonna wish for [FONT=Lucida Console]TO HAVE ALL THE RAREST ITEMS IN THE WORLD PUAHAHAHA![/FONT] "Yeah" Ouka sighed [FONT=Lucida Console]I HOPE I CAN GET STRONGER MONSTERS TO FIGHT.[/FONT] "I've been wanting to make some wishes" Hotaru said cuddling her grunty [FONT=Lucida Console]I WISH THE WORLD WAS AT PEACE[/FONT] "Come on big brother lets go make some wishes too" Reina said pulling her brothers arm "Okay take it easy Reina" [FONT=Lucida Console]I WISH MY BROTHER WAS LIKE THE REAL KITE[/FONT] Shugo was smiling widely [FONT=Lucida Console]I HOPE I BECOME STRONG LIKE BALMUNG AND SANJURO[/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE]

Blynd was in a foul mood. Those kids had gotten the jump on him, but that wouldn't happen again. He was shamed. Upon proceeding to the Tanabata Event, Blynd slipped away from the group quietly. Walking along one of the lamp-lit paths, Blynd stopped before a smaller bamboo tree and knelt before it. So...he was supposed to...put a wish on it? What the hell did that mean?

Or better yet, what did Blynd want to wish for?

When he spoke softly into the moonlight, it was not a wish that Blynd sent forth...or was it?

Deep in thought, Blynd did not notice Zen approach him from behind.

Here, Blynd paused and touched one hand to his forehead reverently, finishing the verse even more quietly than before. Had he not been wearing the blindfold, one might have been given the impression that Blynd was weeping.

[i]With a wish that would not be granted
I start on a journey to the sky all by myself.[/i]

Remaining kneeled for a moment, Blynd rose and began to turn...

Lyn walked up to a tree and put her wish on [FONT=Book Antiqua][U]I wish that I could get my brother to wake up[/U].[/FONT] she looked around to see if anyone was near to where she put her wish up they were all far enough. Lyn never talked about her brother in THE WORLD its too heart breaking for her. Mistrail called to Lyn "Hey Come on Lyn lets walk on the trail it will lead us to the lake where the event is being held!!! Come on!" Lyn smiled "Alright I'm coming" The areas time of day turned to a beautiful calm night scene the moon up in the sky was bright and beautiful and the trail was alined with the Laterns. Balmung looked at Lyn "You alright?" Lyn looked at Balmung and smiled "Yeah" She wrapped her arm arounds his and they started down the trail together. Lyn rested her head on his shoulder. "Its nice out tonight." Mistrial was way ahead "Come on shake a leg!" Ouka and Ryu were walking togehter hand in hand. Hotaru and Sanjuro were walking together side by side Shugo and Reina were walking togehter talking and laughing.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=SlateGray][SIZE=1]With Blynd turning, Zen's hand was slightly knocked off from reaching upon his shoulder. Taking a step back, she bowed. Although his blind fold was on, Zen knew he that he would know it was her.

"Zen..." he said almost in a hush.

She still didn't raise her head, "I'm sorry, Blynd. I didn't mean to..."

Blynd grunted slightly, listening to her apologizes repeatedly but never finishing. Every time she tried, her words never came out right. Taking a small step back she bowed her head further, finally making the words that were on the tip of her tongue come out.

"Blynd, I-I'm sorry," she said feeling as those she was about to cry, "Please forgive me, I had never meant to listen in on you but...I just wanted to find you. Please forgive me."

He was silent for a moment, moving forwards, Zen was about to take another step back. But her steps were small and only half of his. He lifted up her chin. She opened both of her eyes.

"Please don't be mad." she said, almost not hear able.

"Don't cry." Blynd paused, "I forgive you."

Feeling as those she could not help her feelings. She dropped her inking brush and the cloth like paper of which she had been given for her wish. Wrapping her arms around Blynd she held him as tight as she could. A slight wind blew, rolling the paper along the ground. Wavering it caught on a tree trunk. Blynd looked over, not knowing what to do. He could help but feel the need to read what he could.

Zen's Wish: My wish, for Blynd to be find happiness.

Another wind came and the wish blew away into the darkness of the trees.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Magenta]Lyn and Balmung got closer "Lyn..." Lyn answered looking at him she caught the moons reflection in her eyes "Yeah..." Balmung kissed her on the cheek. Balmung blushed slightly "I had to get it out of my system" Lyn smiled and returned a kiss on his cheek "Payback." He smiled. Mistrial watched from affar "Take it easy wuvbirds!" Lyn looked at Mistrial "Mistrial watch your step!" Mistrial was walking backwards and caught her foot on a nearby rock "WAA!" Mistrial fell on the ground. "Owie..." Ouka ran over to Mistrial "You okay?" Mistrial brushed off some dirt "Yeah..." She turned around and her eyes glowed "Yay we're here! we're Here!"[/COLOR][/SIZE]

As if in a trance, Ethan rose from his seat at the computer, still wearing the visor that connected him to The World. Feeling about for the door handle of his room, he shut and locked it.

Blynd stood stock-still as Zen's arms encircled him, the young girl burying her face in his kimono. He touched her hair gently, unsure as to what to do, when he caught sight of Zen's wish pinned against a tree turnk by the wind. Though he thought it would be unwise and disrespectful to read someone else's wish, Blynd did not avert his sight quickly enough. What he read caused his mind to go blank with shock.

She had wished, not for her own happiness, but for [i]his[/i].

But how could she have known? Was it all too obvious that Blynd was on a quest to find something that didn't exist, and the pain it caused him? And why, why of all things, did she wish for HIS happiness? They had met only a short time ago, after all, and he hadn't even been particularly nice to the girl...

Which only made Blynd feel even more guilty. It twisted his stomach and made him sick inside. Had he really been so cold? The realization was painfully clear. He had pushed away everyone who had come close to him, just to keep himself from more pain...but he did not realize the pain that he was causing others with his actions. And the truth was...Blynd had forgotten a long time ago what it felt like to have a friend...

And so Blynd raised his arms slowly, embracing Zen's trembling form as gently as he could. Tears slid down his face from beneath the blindfold as Blynd wept in silence for all the pain he had caused. With one hand, he stroked Zen's light blue hair, trying to comfort the young girl.

[i]"There, there...Please don't cry, you've done nothing wrong...It is I who should ask forgiveness..."[/i]

...And for the first time, there was genuine compassion and caring in the hard-bitten warrior's words.

Unconsciously, Ethan depressed a button on the remote for his CD player, switching CDs and punching in a number he had long since forgotten. The music that flowed from the speakers spoke of Blynd's pain...and Ethan's as well.

Ouka, Ryu, Hotaru, Sanjuro, and Mistrial went ahead. It was a magnificent view. There was a stage with a Huge screen right on it. Next to it was a Huge bathhouse 10x bigger than the stage. The furnase was working to a smoke players were going in and out. Reki was on the stage "Alright the contest is about to begin! Hurry up this might be your chance to date a random beauty." Balmung shook his head "Reki was always a loud mouth" Lyn laughed and looked behind her "Hey Blynd Zen hurry up the events gonna start!" Lyn tugged on Balmung "Come on lets go" [/COLOR] [/SIZE]

[b]IC:[/b] "Hey Blynd Zen hurry up the events gonna start!" Lyn yelled, loud enough that it was able to break the silence of which was around the two. Drawing back, Zen felt as though she didn't want to let go. However, knowing that she'd have to eventually. Taking a few steps back she broke the embracement. Staring up, gazing, she smiled sweetly. [i]"Thank you..."[/i] she whispered.

Zen watched as a single tear left the blind fold and hit the ground. Remembering her bonnet she took it out, turning it inside out. The bonnet seemed to be made out of solely the black material. Standing up her tiptoes she wiped what was left of the tear way. Placing it back underneath the sash, she bowed.

"W-We should get going."

Blynd nodded, "Right."

The two begun to walk out of the area, suddenly Blynd paused. Zen turned, pondering what was wrong. She waited as he walked up along side of her. The two then walked out into where the majority of the people were. Where the event was being held. Emerging from on the path from behind a group of trees, Lyn waved.

"What took you guys?" she said.

"Sorry." Zen said bowing.

"Nah, it's alright." she replied, "You made it in time for the event. All that really matters."

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Magenta]Reki moved his pointed index finger around "Who will be the weaver maiden..." Rekis finger pointed to Zen. "AND HERE SHE IS!" Zen materialized onto the stage "Wha?" Blynd looked around for Zen "Where did she run off to?" Reki walked over to Zen "Hello there! Please say your name, age, and hobbies." Zen looked around blushing. Some players were cheering and whistling "Oooo Hey babe whats your Address?" Zen took the microphone blushing [/COLOR] [/SIZE]

[COLOR=SlateGray][SIZE=1] Blushing, Zen stammered to speak. Not knowing entirely what to say. She never discussed her age only, and begun to figuring that her character model's age was good enough. Not to mention she begun to grow afraid of the large crowd. Never before had she actually stood infront of group this large. Looking over to Reki he smiled.

"M-my, my name is Zen, m15." She said her age so quickly no one seemed to even care, "My...My hobbies, are studying, Martial Arts--"

Before finishing, Reki took the microphone away. "Isn't she lovely now? By the end of this event this beauty could be on a date with anyone of you!"

There we're cheers and whistles again. Reki quieted them down, "To build up anticipate, we shall release this days event, however to be fair, it will be brought for within a matter of minutes allowing you all a few seconds to prepare for the challenge."

By this time a few of the others had managed to get to the front. Getting out of the chair she leaned down shouting to them, hoping they would hear over the other people's voice.

"Do anyone of you want to trade places?!" she yelled over, but none of them could hear.

"What?" was each of there reply.

Suddenly, she was pushed back into the chair by Reki. "Please wait to talk to your friends afterwards, thank you." he said. Reki turned to the crowd, rasing his left hand three lights burst off around the stage.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Magenta]Reki raised his hand and the entire stage materialized 2 miles away from the shore "Alright! Gentelmen please take your places!" Zen watched nervorusly as she saw all the charaters line up. Then her heart lept when she saw Blynd line up "I coming to get you Zen" he whispered. Reki raised a gun "Ready...." Lyn and the others get to higher ground to get a better view "Hehe look Blynds gonna get Zen" Ryu snicked "Get Set..." Lyn and ouka punched him "Shut up its cute!" Ryus legs twitched. Ouka helped him up and smiled. "Go!" Blynd and the other players started crossing the river "GO BLYND! GO!" Lyn and Mistrial cheered "YOU CAN DO IT BLYND!" Ouka and Ryu screamed "GO GET HER!" Balmung said[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Caught up in the feverish excitement of the moment, Blynd barreled forwards into the river, followed by at least a score of other players. Though he was faster than most of the other characters, Blynd caught sight of a few trying to freeze the river with their magic to make crossing easier. Pulling out one longblade, Blynd tossed it to his other hand blade-first, using the long handle to ward off those around him. Sending players tumbling left and right using a combination of the clublike sword hilt and several kicks in each direction, Blynd emerged dripping from the river at the head of the mass. Running forward several paces, he stopped dead about a foot from where Zen sat.

"What are you waiting for?" yelled Lyn.

[i]There's no way I'm going to sweep her up in my arms like some knight in shining armor. I'll do things my way,[/i] thought Blynd with a crooked smile.

Whirling to face the oncoming army of characters, Blynd hurled the sword upwards into the air. The others quickly lost sight of it as it spun upwards into the night sky, then streaking downwards to land point-first in the ground, mere centimeters away from the frontrunners of the crowd. Immediately Blynd drew his second sword and planted his feet, grounding himself in front of Zen.

[i]"If anyone fancies a go at the lady, you'll have to come through me first,"[/i] laughed Blynd almost good-naturedly. But his challenge rang out, strong and serious.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Magenta]Lyn and the others had anime screwed up faces " O_o What the hell is he doing?" Lyn smirked " What a Blow heart " Lyn started to laugh out loud "He so embarassed about his feelings. It reminds me of the first day we me Balmung." Balmungs head fell off anime style "What's that suppose to mean?!" Lyn got up and started to laughed then she walked down the hill "If any of you need me I'll be in the bath house" Ouka got up "I'll come with you I got a bit bored of snickering" Ryu's ears twicthed mischieviously "Can I come?" Lyn and Ouka gave Ryu a cold stare. Lyn smiled "Ryu...the bath house is to much fun for you so...NO." Ouka and Lyn laughed while walking down to the Bathhouse Bridge.Hotaru and Mistrial followed them. Mistrial turned around "You 2 be good okay?" Ryu pouted. Balmung elbowed him "What they don't know won't hurt em." Ryu and Balmung smiled. "Let's wait for Blynd though I'm sure he's bad enough to do this" Ryu said Laying down and watching Blynd beating the crap out of the other players "O_o Damn he has a strange soul" [/COLOR] [/SIZE]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=SlateGray]Sitting in amazement, Zen watched as Blynd beat the other players down. He was laughing, she was happy to see him so glad. But it wasn't in her character to let him beat up so many characters. He had already taken out 3/4 of the crowd. Standing, Zen walked up to Blynd's side. He had a somewhat surprised look on his face as she leaned over and quickly kissed him. Reki laughed as he raised his hands to the two.

"The official winner: Blynd!" Reki announced, "Congratulations!"

Blynd glanced over to Zen, "You ruined my fun."

Zen smiled, "You would have kept on fighting."

Blynd smiled, he looked forwards as people walked out of the water. Once everyone was out the stage materialized back to it's original location. Reki waved, [i]"Enjoy the rest of the day."[/i] He added as he transported them to their original place before the event had started. Looking around they could see where the girls had went. However they did find Balmung and Ryu, Ryu was snickering.

"Where did everyone else go?"

Balmung looked at Zen and Blynd, "Congratulations on winning the event."

Blynd nodded, adding in a "Thank you."

Ryu stopped, "The rest of the group went to the bathhouse."[/COLOR][/SIZE]

"Well that was good I see." said Naomi She looked over to the side and saw the girls headed to the bath house. She took a glance at Ryu and Balmung they had some werid grins on there faces. "What are those dummys up too." said Naomi. So she got up and headed towards the other girls to the bath house.Zen looked very happy from where she was standing!

Still in shock from receiving a kiss on the cheek from Zen, Blynd walked over to where he had thrown his second sword. Pulling it out of the ground and resheathing it, he returned to where Zen, Ryu and Balmung were standing. His step was somewhat awkward, and he had no idea what to say. Arriving back to his original location, Blynd acknowledged everyone present with a brief nod. Zen smiled at him, causing Blynd's heart to beat faster. Now that he was able to see Zen in a new light, Blynd began to notice how truly beautiful she was.

"So...I guess I won," said Blynd simply. He looked at Zen and smiled. "The prize was well worth the effort."
