"Getting some anger out i see." Yeua tried to lighten the mood but failed. "Well we better get moving so that we can get to Satsuki as quickly as possible."

"If you need to know where the gaurdians are they are just over that hill." THe girl said pointing at a large hill that contained a dessert on the other side. "They are inside of a hidden temple under the sands not to far from the edge of that hill."

"Well isn't that convenient that they are just beyond that mountain." Yeua turned and placed the real key on the same string as the gem that he held so dear. Then he hid it away again. They would need that later, but right now it was best if they didn't know that he had it, maybe. "Let's get walking."

The three of them began to walk, a two day journey was ahead of them. One to get just over the mountain, the other to rechieve the gaurdians.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki sighed as she looked out the window, her door was locked to all but Jericho. She heard the lock turn and saw the thin light as he entere dher room.
"You will warm up to me soon dear."
"I would sooner die."
He grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked her head back to look him in the eye.
"That can be arranged."
"Do it than. You can't becasue you need me for bait for them, fir him."
"Your an observeant girl. I like that."
He forcefully kissed her making her gag. She bit his lip vicously, drawing blood.
"Bitch!"
He slaped her and went to the door wiping his lip.
"Serves you right bastard."
"Your lucky I need you girl or you'd already be dead."
He walked out shutting and locking the door, she rubbed her cheek and went back to the window staring out to the mountains where she knew the gaurdieands were, where Yuea and Omrie were headed. she placed a hand over her heart and wept silently. She wanted to feel his arms around her, one of them...how long would it take for them to find her?
"Please hurry you two...I don't know how much longer til he tries something really bad...Yuea...Omrie..."
She sat on the window sil and tucke dher knees to her chest and buried her face in them crieing. She sniffed and took out her hair fromt he elegant bun Jericho had made his people put it in and changed back into her normal clothes out of he black gown he had made her wear...he was trieing to turn her into his barbie doll, she frowned...what was he scheming that could envolve him needing her that badly? She was just a slight frightened to find out...

[Makurayami]

Omrie walked through the woods, heading towards the mountain. He was still angry, frustrated with himself and his lack of weapon and what ever else crossed his mind. He needed a weapon badly. He looked down at his belt quiver. It was empty as well. Omrie punched another tree. As he walked on it fell over as well.

Suddenly Omrie's keen hearing picked something up. He looked to his left and saw a small band of two Nine Army hunters. And they had bows! Omrie grabbed Yeua and pointed to the two. He nodded and Omrie silently began to approach them. He got behind on of them and grabbed him by the neck. There was a sharp twist and a loud crack. Yeua ran in and gutted the other one.

"Nice job!" Omrie said as he picked up the bow. It was a nice one, made out of a black type wood. Omrie couldn't determine what it was, but like it anyways. He collected the arrows and put them in his belt quiver.

"Come on, lets get going. There should be a few more around and I don't think it'll be a good idea to meet them after what we just did to there comrades."

Probably was a good idea considering they were probably starting to get tired. Yeua knew that he was and he didn't want to have to fight more soldiers half asleep. Yeua turned around and saw that the girl was looking at his blade with sort of a worried look on her face. "Is something wrong?" He asked her.

"Not really." She replied. "It's just, killing really isn't a pretty thing is it?"

"No, of coarse it isn't. We only do it because we have to for our people."

"I wish that you didn't have to. Yeua when I see you kill I look at you in a different way then I see you all the other time. I see you as a soldier of a futile war. I see you as just another pawn causing the fighting to continue."

"Are you saying that you don't like death? But you wanted to kill Satsuki and Omrie didn't you?"

"Not really actually. I just thought that I would have to after what that man told me."

"Oh."

"There is something I have to tell you before we get to the gaurdians shrine on the other side of this mountain."

"What is it?"

"In the history of this world no one has ever been able to retrieve the gaurdians. All of those who have tried have died before reaching their goal. One of the main reasons is because they never find the shrine, but those who do. Well they don't ever come out. They get trapped inside of the shrine to never come back."

"Well then, the three of us are going to break tradition."

"Really?"

"Of coarse." Only if he knew the other part of the problem that she was keeping from him.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki gasped as the cloth ripped and she fell tot he ground below the window.
"He can't keep me here...I won't be a part of this...I have to find the others...And I'll do it no matter what."
She gripped the sword that she had stolen from the room wall. She ran a few steps and jumped the fence. Jericho smiled from the window of his room.
"That's right beauty, find them for me...Let me kill them and allow it to be your fault."
He laughed and dissmissed his scouts to follow her. She dropped to her knees a day later and smiled as she found the dead bodies of the scouts.
"Hang on guys...I'm coming..."
She stood and ran, her dress shreded. She had been forced into another gown that she detesseted and ran. She jumped throught the bushes and fel onto Yuea who was asleep underneath it. He yelled as she fell and had her pinned to the ground the sword at her throat.
"SATSUKI?"
Satsuki blinked and gasped.
"YUEA! Oh god!"
She flung her-self into his arms and began to sob.
"I thought I'd never see you agian...I was so scared..."
She pulled back and wiped her eyes and hugged his neck kissing him.

[Makurayami]

Omrie, who was up in a tree on watch duty, looked down to find Satsuki and Yeua hugging and sobbing. He smiled and jumped from the tree branch. He flipped in the air and landed neatly on his feet. He looked at Satsuki and smiled again.

"Hey Satsuki. I was wondering when you were going to show up." Omrie looked at Satsuki in her gown, though ripped and torn. She still looked beautiful to him. But this was one emotion that he could hide still.

Satsuki broke off of Yeua and jumped onto Omrie as well. Yeua could only smile, he was glad to see her again. He didn't really think that he would until after they got the gaurdians. Here she was though. Dispite the ragged clothing she was wearing she looked to be perfectly fine, of coarse he had to make sure.

"Satsuki, did he do anything to you?" Yeua asked. "Hurt you, touch you?"

"I'd prefer not to talk about it." She replied. "It was so horrible, like..."

"Like feeling like there is going to never be anything better in your life." The little girl inturupted with a glazed look on her face. "No hope is left in your life and all of your love has been drained from you. You dread tomarrow because you know it is just going to be even more painful then the last. That's the way I felt when I realized that Yeua wasn't going to come back for me. I knew he had forgotten me. That hurt so terribly."

Yeua just froze for a moment. He knew how that felt too and it was so dreadful to hear that others had to go through that. It was the way he felt before he came to the school. He felt sorry such a young child had to go through such tragedy.

"I'm sorry about inturupting." She spoke apologetically."If we hurry now we can reach the temple of the gaurdians before mid-day." She turned and began to leave them.

[Akieen Cloud]

Stsuki was smileing nonstop, she was back with the people she loved the most. They reached the temple as the girl said.
"Can we take a rest? I have't slept in two days fellas..."
Omrie nodded and went to look for food while Yuea started the fire.
"Satsuki, are you okay?"
Satsuki looked up and around, the girl was gone too, they were alone.
"Yeah, I geuss...Yuea. Whale I was there al I wanted was to get out..."
"Well thats understandable."
"You didn't lemme finish. I remember wanting to get out so I could see you. I remember telling my-self that I had to get out, to see you agian, and Omrie too. But you were there the most..."
By this time Yuea had stoped moving.
"Satsuki..."
She jumped up and ran to him wrapping her arms around his waist.
"It's not fair Yuea!. I love you so much, but I love Omrie too...what am I supposed to do?"

[Makurayami]

Omrie's face set into a grim expression. He was right outside the camp. He had found some food rather fast and was on his way back when he had heard Satsuki. His unatural hearing had picked it up right away but they couldn't hear them, he was out of their hearing range.

Omrie did have feelings for Satsuki. He had had them ever since the first day of their assignment but he had kept them hidden for a long time. Then after he got in touch with his emotions again after the controler fiasco he had still managed to keep them hidden pretty well. He had kept telling himself that she derserved better. And that "better" was Yeua.

With a sigh Omrie turned around and faded into the woods again. He still had some time before it would be thought odd that he was gone for so long. But he didn't intend to hunt in this time. He needed to clear his head. Think a bit and figure out his goals.

Yeua held on for a moment and then replied to the question. "Well what you really need to do is hold on. I love you a lot, but it's going to be your heart that tells you what you want to know. Listen to it and let it lead you to who you truely fall for. Even if it is Omrie if it was your heart that made the decision then everything will be fine. Of coarse we need to worry about the task at hand first." He was so happy to hold her. Just the slightest touch was intoxicating. He didn't want to let go, but knew he had to so he did. "I wonder where Omrie is, he should be done hunting by now." He looked around. "I'll tell you what, I'm going to look for him while you stay here." He got up and walked off towards where Omrie left.

The girl then came from around a tree and sat down near Satsuki. "There is something that I need to say and I can't tell Yeua. I need to say that there is a dark part to the summoning of the gaurdians. They require a little more than a key. They need a sacrifice to awaken to. Sort of a welcome back feast, and after what I just saw I decided that I want to be the sacrifice."

[Makurayami]

Omrie was sitting up in a tree. He had been thinking for the last few minutes. But now his hearing picked up something. It sounded like someone was coming. Without think Omrie knocked an arrow and jumped out of the tree, his bow pointed at the approaching person. As he landed his arrow came right into the face of Yeua. It wasn't even an inch away.

"Woah!" Yeua shouted and backed up a few feet, stumbling as he did. He fell to the ground.

Omrie let out a sigh of relief. "Sorry." He helped him up, putting away his arrows and bow while doing so. He grabbed the squirels and the two began walking back to the camp.

"You really need to take it easy with that bow Omrie." Yeua said to him as they were walking back to the camp. "Not every sound that you hear coming up to you is an enemy. I swear if I had be one if further I'd have three nostrils right now."

Omrie stopped and knocked and arrow onto his bow. He swung around and let it fly towards a bush. It went into the bush, a loud clang, and pieces of the arrow went flying through the air. "There is something there." Omrie shouted.

"I see that." Yeua drew his sword just in time to deflect some sort of yellow sphere. The sphere evaporated a rock that it struck next. "What the hell?"

Something that resembled a gorilla with scorpian claws emerged from the bush screaming like a banshee.

[Makurayami]

"Shit! It's a scorpape. And that sphere's from its controller," Omrie shouted. He knew all to well that controllers had magic to trap and enslave humans and animals alike. Omrie knocked another arrow and let it fly at the scorpape. The scorpape knocked it away with his claws. But as he was doing that Omrie was able to get a shot into his armpit area.

The scorpape let out a screech of pain. He charged forward and swung at Omrie. Omrie ducked and darted back. He then began to dart around the creature, ducking and dodging moves. Omrie knew that he possesed magical abilities that were equivalent to a controller's. But it was a matter of unlucking those abilities that held Omrie back. But if he could he might be able to control the scorpape.

"YEUA! DISTRACT THEM WHILE I TRY SOMETHING!" Omrie shouted while dodging another blow.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki felt the hair on the back of her neck prickle and she erached over grabbing her weapon.
"Get down...something's coming."
She screamed as she was tackled from the left side by a large creature that made ice cold fear rush through her veins. A large beast stared down at her, fangs bared. Four monsterous paws, it looked like sphinx but Satsuki knew it was no friend. She stood and faced the creatrue head on. It bared down on her fircely, growling and snaping at her, she screamed as it ripped her front with it's claws drawing blood. She brought her arm around smacking it in the face with her pole, seeing the black blood she knew it was a wound, but the beast came at her again.She grabbed her whip and lashed out tripping the monster making it howl. She strode forward and slamed the pole down on it's head, it only howled with rage and froced her back, her dress now n rags that hund off her shoulders she fought for her life and she knew it. She screamed again as it pusehed her back slaming her against a tree, she heard bones break knowing they were her's. SHe felt the tears streaming down her face. She lifted the pole ne last time to block a side swipe of a paw and found herself on her back, the beast over her growling evily, she screamed as one of the monsters paws found her shoulder and dug it's claws there drowning the ground with her blood. She concentrated and foucesed all her streagth and put both hands on the underside of the beast chanting se froze it and then kicked with the last of her strength shattering the form above her. She looked at the girl.
"You okay?"
She nodded. Satsuki found herself wanting to be in someone's arms.
"Omrie...Yuea...Omrie!....Yuea!"
She grabbed the grass around her and sobbed.
"OMREI! YUEA!"
She opened her eyes as the girl took her hand.
"I don't wanna die alone..."

Yeua felt something fade in the distance. Not very far from where they were. He needed to go see what it was, but Omrie needed his help. "Okay Omrie you want a distraction I'll give you one." Yeua concentrated as hard as he could and drew the powers of flame that he controlled into his blade. It began to flow over and onto his body takeing him into it. Then the flame figure rushed the beast leaving Yeua standing with the dead sword in his hand. He sheathed it and ran back towards camp. "Good luck Omrie, but I have a feeling that I am needed somewhere else." He said to himself as he came over the top of the hill to see little bits of frozen flesh and animal carcass thrown about. Blood had been pooled on the ground, both black and red. That means one of the girls...

Yeua moved as fast as possible to find someone. He was horrified to find that Satsuki was laying with her clothing and flesh both torn apart by what looked ike claws. "Satsuki." Was all that came to his mind and he pulled her up into his arms putting pressure on the worst wounds. "I'm going to take care of you. Don't worry whatsoever. You won't die." He used his own clothing to tie off as much of the bleeding as he could, but she was still seeping out all around her. "No, you have to be all right. I don't want to lose the only person that I still love." He kissed her forhead and rocked back and forth a bit before the girl spoke up.

"I can help, but not like before." She said.

"What?"

"I can help heal her, but I will be practically giving her my life. I see how much you love her. It's not likely that you will ever find anyone else in your life that loves you and you love just the same. This world is full of viscious people and I don't want just one to end such a beautiful love. Sure I can't be with you, at least you will be happy."

"You don't have to."

"I know, but I want to. What else am I good for? Walls probably sent these monsters after you to kill and he should not be alowed to succeed. She protected me, it is the least I can do." The girl placed a palm onto Satsuki's forehead. She already could tell that it was growing cold. If she wasn't fast enough Satsuki would die.

"What!?"

"What's going on?"

"It's not working!"

[Makurayami]

Omrie silently thanked Yeua for the attack. Now he had the time he needed. Omrie begna to concentrate. Nothing. But then it was as if someone had suddenly opened the door for Omrie. He could sense the scorpape, sense the tamer who was in the bushes behind it, sense even the small insects that were crawling on the ground.

Omrie concentrated on the scorpape. He could feel the tamer inside it, controlling the beast to his own will. Omrie tried to take over. The tamer fought him. The two wills battled back and forth for a while inside the beast. Then one won, the other thrown back and stunned.

The scorpape reared and jumped into the bushes. Seconds later he emerged with the tamer in his claws. The tamer was dead. Omrie smiled a grim smile. He had won. But now this beast needed to be killed. Omrie mentally commanding the beast to use its own claws to rip its throat out. The beast complied and seconds later Omrie had a dead scorpape at his feat. Omrie could feel it fading away into nothing. But he could feel something else fading.

"Satsuki!" Omrie took off at a full out run towards the camp. He could feel Satsuki slipping. Something had to be done otherwise should die.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki felt the arms around her body but they felt so distant.She was so cold. Yuea and Omrie began to flash though her mind, she was getting colder by the minute but something else was happening too, she felt warm, she gasped as her body seared with heat and her eyes flared open. She was alive. But how?
"Yuea? Where's Omrie."
She looked up as Omrie came crashing throught the bushes.
"Satsuki!"
"I'm okay, where's the girl is she okay?"
Yuea looked at her and than to Omrie.
"Yuea? What's wrong? Is there something you need to tell us?"
Yuea told them about what the girl had done for Satsuki,by the end Satsuki was crying. She stood and winced as a small wound on herback that wasn't completely healed hurt.
"I'm going to go clean off, I'll be back."
Going to the stream she begane to clean the small sctraches and scrapes that were left but when it came time to clean the one on her back she found she couldn't reach.
"Omrie can you come gimme a hand with this?"
She heard him come throught the under brush and stop as she stood her body from waist down covered by water, her bare back to him, her hair pulled down and over her shoulder hiding the rest of her.
"I can't reach my back...can you um...clean the wound for me?"
She felt her fce grow hot and her cheeks flushed.
"Please?"

[Makurayami]

"Sure." Omrie let out a smile. He was happy that she was ok. He reached his hand into the water and began to gently wash the cut. Satsuki winced once and gave a shudder. "Sorry," Omrie murmered. He lightened his touch even more. Soon he was done. He walked to the edge of the stream and sat down.

He could still sense the creatures around him. He was truly intuned with his tamer abilities now. But it concerned him. He was really becoming something different. Ever since he had gotten rid of the control of the tamer he had seemed to become more like him. Then it hit him. Maybe he hadn't ousted the tamer. Maybe he had merely had absorbed the tamer. And now the merging was complete. He was still Omrie Sunaga, but he was also par tamer now.

Omrie looked at Satsuki. She was finishing washing herself. He looked down out of curtesy. A few minutes later she was out of the water and dressed.

"Tell me, how did you kill the scorpape?" she asked.

"Long story. It turns out that when I had the tamer controling me I actually absorbed him instead of destroying him. Remember when I spoke the Nine Army language to J. Walls?" Satsuki nodded. "Well, that's just one of my new found abilities. I also have all the abilities of a tamer, including the force bubble that I used on J. Walls and the control technique."

"Well that's good. You have some new weapons now," Satsuki replied.

"Yeah, but I have this extra sense now. I can feel every living thing around me. The insects, the birds, even you. And I can't turn it off."

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki ndded.
"I understand...do you, ya know...want it off?"
She looked up at him and smiled.
"You've changed Omrie. YOur still you only...more gental...not so cold. And you care about things more now than you ever did."
She yawned lightly and folded her hand under his, she felt so content with him, she felt this way with Yuea too, but there was something with Omrei hat she couldn't expalin.A certain warmth that he enjoyed. She sighed as her took her hand as wel and leaned in putting her head on his shoulder, she felt the droziness begin to take over and splashed her face lightly.
"Omrie. Thank you. For everything."
She streched up and kissed his cheek gently than put her head back on his shoulder and watched the water flow slowly by.

Yeau bowed his head towards the mound that was the girls final resting place. He had burried her body while the other two were off somewhere. He hadn't really felt a strong connection to the girl, but for some reason her death did sadden him. He was grateful to her, for saving Satsuki that is. He wasn't sure if she had died what he would do. Would he go after Jericho? Maybe. Would he just cry? Maybe. Would he have killed himself? That felt like the answer, but the girl gave them another chance. Satsuki had said that both Omrie and Yeua were there and she felt strongly for both of them. Yeua was sort of scarred of that now. What if he did lose her to Omrie? Could he move on like he said, or would he do the unthinkable? He wouldn't be able to tell now. All he could do was keep moving and trying to show Satsuki how much he cared for her, for the sake of her and the girl that gave up her life. He felt stronger in a way, but less whole as well. It was like a piece of himself was missing now. Maybe that girl was that piece, maybe it has nothing to do with her? So many questions, but he couldn't answer all of them.

Yeua walked towards the water leaving the grave behind him, a part of his past he must again forget. Now all he had was his two friends. And they were talking on the edge of the water. "Hey you guys." Yeua said. "Are you ready to keep moving?" He wasn't sure if he was though.

[Makurayami]

Omrie sat there with with Satsuki leaning against him. He felt so content with her. There was no hiding his feelings. He did like Satsuki. And he was begining to think that maybe she liked him the way he liked her. But there was Yeua. Omrie didn't want to hurt him, he was becoming a good friend. But he did want Satsuki. He felt a little guilty, but he pushed it off. It wasn't his choice, it was Satsuki's.

"Hey you guys. Are you ready to keep moving?"

Omrie heard Yeua'a voice. He looked at Satsuki. "Are we ready?"

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki squeezed Omrie's hand tightly briefly and nodded.
"yeah, I'm ready. I think. i m as ready as I'll ever be...Let's go."
She stood and winced slightly as her back painrd her.
"Lets go. We need to get the gaurdieans as soon as possible, and I mean as soon as possible...Omrie, will you gimme a hand? I don't think my knees are very strong right now..."
She smiled weakly as Omrie put his shoulder under her arm and began to walk.
"Wait! My weapon, and I have to say goodbye!"
"Goodbye?"
She picked up her weapon and bowed slowly to the grave that Yuea had made for the girl than turned back to the boys.
"Let's go. Time to win this war damnit and become heros!"
She put her arms around both boys leaning on Omrie more and Yuea a little less, but useing them both none the less.

[FONT=Palatino Linotype]sitting up in a tree with her barrier up, she looked down at the grave and two people. she scanned them both and the result was her own "they are weak" she glares at them and looks up at the sky[/FONT]

OOC: We talked and worked it out. She isn't going to come into this. She said that it was an accident and I'm just going to give her the benifit of the doubt.

Yeau could feel it. He knew that she wasn't really leaning on him. Well if she didn't want him then he wished she would say it. Just being able to think that he still had a chance was being stupid if it wasn't true. It would eat away at him. If he didn't and continued to think he did then the chances of him...NO. He didn't even want to think about it. He didn't want to hurt friends or even think about doing so. He just kept holding on.
