RPG Dead Fate (M-LV)

Yeua held onto her that entire night just happy to be so close to her. At first they hadn't gotten along, but now she was just the perfect person for him to be with. She grew on him, as one may say.

It wasn't until the next morning, when the two of them woke up embracing the other. He couldn't believe that they had been together like this the entire night, but there was not one hair out of place. He slowly untangled himself from her so she wouldn't wake up and then he slide up to a sitting position. He was much better today. Those wounds heal fast thanks to Satsuki's medicines. He kissed her forehead before wandering around a bit just to streach his legs. They felt sore, but that was to be expected.

"So you feeling any better?" Omrie asked Yeua as he snuck up behind him.

"Much thanks to Satsuki." He replied.

"She really is a miricle worker. We are lucky to have her with us."

"And imagine I was angry when me and Jericho ended up on different teams."

"If what had happened didn't happen you would be dead." Omrie looked back at the tent. "Perhaps we should wake her."

"No. Let her sleep. She had a long day yesterday. She deserves it."

[Makurayami]

((Sorry about the lack of posting...life, computer problems...meh...))

"Yeah, she did," Omrie agreed. He was back in his normal clothes like the other two. He slowly stood up and tested his legs. A small ache, but otherwise, fine. He hadn't really taken that much physical damage, just a lot of energy was used when he had used his powers so much.

"I hate to be a party-pooper, but J. Walls is still out there," Omrie said as he looked at the sun towards the direction of the fight.

"I know," Yeua said quietly.

"I wonder what will happen next time we fight. I have a bad feeling. He might become more powerful after being with the tiger for so long."

'I doubt it,' Jenon said mentally. 'He wasn't meant for the tiger.'

'Yeah, but he has powerful magic. More powerful than I've seen ever.' Jenon fell silent. With a sigh, Omrie turned towards the woods.

"I'm going hunting. Just like I used to before all this stuff started." Omrie walked into the woods. After an hour, he came out with three small rabits. He felt better. Hunting had been relaxing. As he walked into the camp he saw Satsuki begining to get out of the tent.

"Morning," he said.

[Akieen Cloud]

"Omrie! You up and moving!, I'm glad...Lemme see your wound."
"I'm fine."
"Omrie...Don't make me."
He shook his head chuckleing and sat down for Satsuki to inspect.
"Looks good, looks like the spirit of the animal is healing you quiet quickly. That's good. How's your energy level feeling?"
"Kinda low, but better than yesterday."
"Still feels low? That's odd...Hang on..."
She pulled her pack to her and began to rumage through it til she pulled out what looked like dired meat.
"It looks like beef jerky..."
"I know that, eat some, it'll make you feel better. It is dried meat, but I put a certain ingredeant to it to make it give back energy faster. You should feel the effect in no time Omrie. Now, if you boys exucse me, I haven't bathed in days and I hear a stream no to far from here. See ya later."
she grabed her packa nd headed for the woods where she seperated from her spirit and took note of HER wounds. when she wasn't infuse with Desh.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'You look a little better Satsuki, they seem to be healing with some ease.'[/COLOR]
"I'm STILL bleeding Desh, how is that good?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'You got those while you nad I were seperarte, so I cannot help them heal.'[/COLOR]
"I'm aware of this, Lemme clean them while you go and find some herbs to help them heal would you?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Of corse Satsuki.'[/COLOR]
"Thanks, your the best."
Satsuki submereged her body slowoly into the creek, her blood mingleing with the water as her old wounds still bled.

Yeua leaned against a tree looking in the direction that Satsuki had walked off. He kept thinking. "Omrie," he spoke, "did she look a little odd to you?"

"What do you mean?" he replied taking a few bites of the jerky.

"Like there was something wrong." Yeua said. "Almost as if she was trying to hide something.

"What could she possibly be hiding?"

"Well...I don't know. I think there was just something in the way that she walked that I noticed."

"You need to stop stairing at her ass is what's wrong."

Yeua wanted to make sure that everything was alright, besides he wanted to be close just in case Jericho managed to find them this quickly. He tried to climb into the trees, but he was too sore so when Omrie was distracted he took off into the way that she went. "Just want to be sure." He continued to repeat to himself as he approached.

[Akieen Cloud]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Satsuki, you need to get out of the water, your still losing alot of blood...'[/COLOR]
"I'm aware of this Desh, but I think I would rather be clean than anything."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Even dead? After what you shared with Yuea last night?'[/COLOR]
Satsuki froze and turned on Desh.
"Look I know what I'm doing Desh. You have thiose herbs?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'As always.'[/COLOR]
"Thanks, sorry I snapped."
She climbed from the creek, the spot she was washing in now completely red from her spilling blood. She sat on the bank, her back to the woods and began to apply the herbs to her wounds on her legs and arms.
"Hey Desh, you think you can gimme a hand?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Of corse.'[/COLOR]
Desh trnsformed into his human form and began to apply the herbs to her bare back and shoulders, his form a ghostly white, and smokey clear.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'This is what you get for useing oyour healing powers.'[/COLOR]
"I know, but I can't let them suffer."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'So you take on their wounds instead? Kill yourself slowly, unless you stay fused with me? Quiet frankly I would not care for that...something like last night could have gone further, and I would not want to witness that.'[/COLOR]
"Oh, Desh...he's not like that."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'He stares at your ass all the time.'[/COLOR]
"You do not approve?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'To be honest I do not care who your heart goes to Satsuki, but I wonder sometimes, if Yuea could really take care of you the way Omrie has proven he can.'[/COLOR]
"I know he can desh..."
Satsuki swerved alittle into Desh's arms, being her spirit partner, he could only hold her.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Satsuki? Are you alright?'[/COLOR]
"D-Desh...I think I might have taken to much this time..."
A fresh wound showed on her side and leg, Omrie's leg wound and Yuea's side wound, they began to bleed fresh and quick.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'SATSUKI! Your dieing...You have nothing to wrap it with do you?'[/COLOR]
"No...I'm so sorry Desh...I should've listened."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'You have to stay awake. I can only hold you, I cannot carry you, Yuea is on the way...I feel it.'[/COLOR]
"Y-Yuea..."
Satsuki's head fell to the side as she passed out.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'SATSUKI! SATSUKI STAY AWAKE DAMNIT!'[/COLOR]

Yeua could hear some yelling. He moved faster in a panic. He was afraid of what might be over the hill.

'What's going on?' His spirit partner asked.

"No time to explain Chu." Yeua yipped back as he ran faster. He then came right out and saw the glowing figure Desh holding Satsuki, trying to keep her awake. Yeua came up and was horrified to see that she was bleeding terribly from a fresh wound. "When and how did this happen?" He asked as he took off his shit and began to tear it into peices.

"Just now, it just started." Desh replied. "It's your wound."

"What?" Yeua was a bit confused, but he didn't care. He began to wrap the wound at tightly as he could with the scraps of clothing that he had.

"You know how to do this?" Desh asked.

"Yeah." Yeua replied. "I didn't go down to the medicle facilities at the school without picking up something. So how long has she been out?"

"Not very long."

"I'm going to do all that I can to stop the bleeding. Give me some of those herbs and get one of those mice bones from my pouch. I'm going to do a little improvised stitching." Desh did as he asked and he went to work as fast as he could to try to help Satsuki.

[Akieen Cloud]

WheDesh looked at Yuea.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'n she looks at your's and Omrie's wounds, she's taking them to her own body, since it's her magic, I cannot help her heal.'[/COLOR]
He looked at Satsuki.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'I think she took to much this time, she still hasn't recovered from the others a little while ago. Didn't you ever wonder why your wounds healed so quickly?'[/COLOR]
Satsuki moaned alittle and whimpered from the pain.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Is she gonna make it?'[/COLOR]

"Well I'm not the best at medicine, but I'm praying to every deity there is that she will be alright." Yeua finished stictching the wounds and put down the needle that he had. He scooped her up himself and held her tightly. "You know," he spoke to the uncouncious Satsuki softly, "when I first met you I'll admit that I wasn't really the greatest person in the world. I was a little rude and really I wouldn't have blamed you if you hated me. Everything I got I deserved, but it all changed. We came to know each other better. Even Omrie began to change. He isn't as cooped up as he used to be. You did all that. You changed me Satsuki. I don't know when it was that I realized that I loved you. It could have been anytime in the past month or so. Ever since the beginning you've been trying to keep us together and you've done it. I love you for that, but along the way I had no idea you were destroying yourself. I didn't know that you suffered like this. I'm so sorry."

Yeua pulled her even closer to him with tears running out of his eyes. He kissed her forehead and just kept praying. He wanted her to come out of this. He couldn't lose someone he loved so soon again.

[Makurayami]

Omrie's ears had picked up some some yelling in the distance. As soon as they did, he had fused with Jenon and unfurled his wings. He was now in the air and was flying towards the sound. Using his eye-sight, which was enhanced even more by his spirit partner's eyes. Jenon caught sight of Satsuki and Yeua and they swooped down to them. Omrie quickly took the scene in.

"Yeua," Omrie said. "I can help her I think. If we're where I think we are, their shold be an outpost around here. It would take half a day to get there. I could fly her there 20 minutes if I push it." Yeua looked up at Omrie. "But If I do that," Omrie continued, "You'll be alone and open to attack. It's your call, Yeua."

"Take her," Yeua said without hesitation. Omrie nodded and picked Satsuki out of Yeua's arms and into his own.

"I promise I'll take good care of her," Omire said. His wings unfurled and gave a mighty beat. He rose into the air and shot off towards the east. They wind shot up under his wings, giving him a boast.

"Hold on Satsuki. Almost there," Omrie whispered to Satsuki as he rocketed through the air.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki moaned lightly, her body aced and lanced with pain.
"Yuea..."
She opened her eyes slightly and saw Omrie and then passed out agian. Her cheeks flushed as a fever took to her as well. Somethign other then the wound was getting to her, she was getting sick for no reason. Omrie looked at her and blinked, she was glowing a sickly green at her chest where her heart would be.
"Magic..."
Satsuki groaned as it took a stronger hold.

[Makurayami]

Omrie starting descending as he saw the base. Satsuki was still glowing that sickly green color, but he didn't know what he could do about it. 'Better hand her over to the healers,' he thought. As he landed his guardian armour disappeared in a flash, leaving him in his traveling clothes, and he started running towards the entrance.

One man saw him and immediatly started shouting for others. Two men with a stretcher came running out and took Satsuki. "We're from the academy. She's infected with some type of magic," Omrie explained. The man nodded and took her away.

Half an hour later, Omrie looked up. He was in one of the rooms that could be described as a waiting room. The head healer was walking towards him.

"We got it under control. However, we can't get rid of it. She'll have to stay here or else the magic will take hold of her again," the healer said with a grim face.

"How do I get rid of the magic?" Omrie asked.

"Kill the caster," the healer said.

'Omrie!' Jenon suddenly yelled mentally, "I can sense the tiger. It's near Chu.'

"WHAT!" Omrie shouted. He ran out of the building, yelling to the healer to take care of Satsuki. Once outside he fused with Jenon in a quick flash of light. His wings unfurled and he flew into the air, shooting off in the direction of Yeua. 'We're going slower,' Omrie said testily.

'My energy's low. It'll take us forty minutes to get to Chu,' Jenon replied. Omried grimmanced. Hopefully he would be there in time.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki could hear the voices outside but coulsn't make them out.
"Desh?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'I'm here Satsuki, your sister's spirit is closing in on Yuea and Chu...'[/COLOR]
"I have to help them."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Your in no condition...'[/COLOR]
"No, But you are."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'How did I know you were going to say that?'[/COLOR]
"I'm fine as long as I'm fused with you right?"
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'It will ware on you Satsuki...'[/COLOR]
"I can do it Desh. I'll just have to come back here."
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'If you wish.'[/COLOR]
Satsuki felt better as Desh took over again and into his wolf form and dashed from the tent and in the direction they came.
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Yuea and Omrie are going to kill me for this...so are Jenon and Chu...'[/COLOR]
"Don't worry you'll be fine. Now, let's go!"
Satsuki felt Desh's mighty legs give a great heave and the speed increse dramticly.

'You know he's getting closer right?' Chu asked inside of Yeua's head.

"Yeah I can sense him." he replied watching the trees for any sign of Jericho. There was a subtle dust cloud that seemed to get kicked up to the side of him, but he sawa small bird fly out of there a few seconds later. "Just as long as she is getting treated I am fine here."

'Perhaps you should let me take control.' Chu suggested with much concern in his voice.

"No. I must be the one to fight him."

Yeua waited a few more seconds before a sudden jolt threw him against a tree. He slid to his knees and looked up at an armored figure looking down at him. "You know that this is going to be the last time right?"

"Yeah." Yeua choked out.

"Either you or I am going to die here."

"That's right."

"I have no plans on it being me. This country has fallen to my queen's army one city after another. We can't be beaten."

"That's what you think."

[Makurayami]

Omrie shouted at himself in frustration. He still had twenty minutes of flying. He just hoped Yeua could hold on for that long. He tried to calm himself and look down at the ground. Looking he saw a great big wolf bounding along the ground at the same speed as Omrie. Omrie imediatly knew who it was.

"Satsuki, what the hell?" Omrie asked himself, knowing he was too high for her to hear him. He gave his wings a mighty beat and proceeded to shoot towards Chu and Yeua. And J. Walls.

[Akieen Cloud]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'Satsuki he's there!'[/COLOR]
'Hurry Desh, he'll need our help.'
[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]'This could kill you, you know that?"[/COLOR]
'I know, just hurry.'
Satsuki could sense Omrie above them and figered he could feel her below. Desh let out a might howl and put on an extra boost of speed and barred his teeth as they drew closer.

'They are coming' Chu said inside of Yeua's head. He hadn't realized it, nut just then he felt them. He could feel the power of the other two drawing nearer. From the look that was beginning to form on Jericho's face, he did too.

"Well then are you just going to rely on your friends helping you out of this one as well?" Jericho questioned. "Remember all of those times that I had to pull your ass out of tough spots. You seem almost useless without someone else there to pull you back and keep you from your selfdestruction."

"Jericho..." Yeua began, but he could not find the words to respond. It did seem that nearly everytime that Yeua got into something like this someone had come to help him. He came to the conclusion that he could not rely on them forever. He would eventually have to face things on his own, even with Satsuki's love and support. He decided that now was a great time.

"They won't interfer. Don't you worry about that." Suddenly a sphere formed around Jericho and it swelled. It grew and ingulfed Yeua and kept spreading until it took up a huge area of land around them. "This is a containment feild. You can't get out and your friends can't get in."

"That's probably for the better."

"What do you mean?"

"Omrie is weak from flying so hard today. He needs to rest. And Satsuki is still injured. I would never let either of them come into harms way for me when I'm in the best condition out of all of us. I just may be a little stiff that's all."

"Ha ha ha." Jericho laughed. "You have grown foolish in your fear."

"NO. I've come to care about people other than myself. You were the first person that I cared about and you betrayed me, but I know that they won't. Omrie has been with me and so has Satsuki. I love them both in different ways, but I love them just the same."

"Love isn't worth anything when you are just going to lose it."

"I will never lose this one."

"You stand no chance."

"You want a bet? How about this? Since you are so confident how about we drop all of these powers?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean let go of the gaurdians for a second. You know go one-on-one. Like the old days when we sparred. If memory servers right we were even in the amount of wins and loses. The only difference will be instead of lunch it will be our lives."

"Are you serious?"

"Dead serious."

Suddenly the armor on Jericho dissappeared, but the sheild remained standing. Yeua dropped his as well and pulled his regular sword up. Jericho's sword was brought up to his face and he grinned. The two of them were about to begin a fight of life or death.

[Makurayami]

Omrie finally reached Yeua and J. Walls only to find a sheild between him and them. He recognized it. It was a containment field, like the one he had been imprisoned in back on their first mission. Frustated, Omrie rammed into the sheild. He hit it and bounced off. Cursing loudly, Omrie punched the shield again and again, trying to get in. Nothing.

Omrie slowly lowered himself to the ground and furled his wings. As the two fighters inside let down their guardian armour Satsuki ran up besides him.

Nothing to do but to wait.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki screamed as she saw the feild.
"NO! Yuea!"
she got there and transformed...her body still so weak.
"Yuea! I'm right here! I'm right here if you lose hope, I wont leave your side...I know I cant reach you...But I know you can feel me!"
She put her hands agaisnt the field and then put her forehead against it as well. Tears streaming down her face.
"I couldn't stand it if I lost you Yuea...So I want you to win! I want you to fight! show him that love is worth waiting for! I'll be here through everything..."
the feild turned a pale red glow as Satsuki's love spread from her and into the feild, it didn't help any fo them but Yuea could feel her love surround him.

"I know. I know" Yeua mumbled to himself as he felt the loving presence of Satsuki. He didn't dare look the way she was because it would just be a perfect oppertunity for Jericho to take a shot at him and get in an early wound.

Jericho took the first steps forewards, but Yeua did not react as he usually would. Usually he would take a few forewards, but this time he took a few to the side. Jericho didn't seem to notice the difference in his fighting pattern. As usual Jericho rushed forewards and tumbled to the ground and rolled twice before the blade came up towards Yeua. Yeua then rolled forewards and actually slid down jericho's back and behind him.

Yeua then slide his sword beween his legs to attempt to get Jericho in the back, but Jericho had rolled a bit more and the blade was there to stop his. Yeua cartwheeled to the side to get the blades out from under him and was suprised to when Jericho's sword flew past his head with a chain in follow. He looked at Jericho and say the smug grin on his face. Yeua took this with much suprise and spun sideways just as Jericho pulled the chain taunt. The sword flew back and gashed across Yeua's side just below his arm.

Yeua knew that Satsuki was looking on more worried than ever seeing a free-bleeding wound on his side. There was no helping it though. Nothing was going to be done until he got Jericho. "I always said your style was not of our kingdom." Yeua said to Jericho.

"It never was." jericho replied and jumped forewards swinging the chain on the bottom of his sword around towards Yeua. Yeua made no attempt to dodge it and risk opening his wound even worse. He took the full force of the chain to his shoulder and let it roll off. The momentum spun him around with enough speed to keep Jericho from getting his sword up fast enough. The tip of the sword dug deep into Jericho's collar drawing a massive amount of blood out of him.

Jericho slid back taking the sword out of him and sending his chain up around Yeua's feet and tripping him onto his back. The sword came down and peirced the meaty part of his thigh sending more of Yeua's blood into the air. Yeau used his other leg to kick Jericho in the stomach and send him tumbling back. Yeua rolled up and then launched himself in Jericho's direction and broke the number one rule that he fought by, the let his weapon fly into the air.

The reason that Yeua didn't do this was because it was more risky than trying to fight arrows with just a sword. He learned that the hard way when because he has a large scar on the back of his leg from when he did this.

Fortunatly this gamble that he just took paid off. The sword was dug strait into Jericho's gut and looked to be almost through his body. Jericho looked up at Yeua with suprise. "You never used to do anything like that."

"Well there is always something that I thought helped me back when we trained at the school." Yeua replied with a smirk.

"What was that?"

"I held back."

"You bastard." Jericho tried rushing towards Yeua after pulling the sword from himself, but he stopped and looked like he was in a great amount of pain. "No I can still kill him!" He shouted. "Please my queen!!!" Then Jericho began to dissolve right in front of Yeua. His entire body took off into the wind and the tiger spirit stood where he once was.

Yeua smiled and looked around to see Satsuki and Omrie standing at the edge of the barrier. It began to dissolve just like Jericho did. Yeua looked at Satsuki's eyes with tears rolling out from the edges of them. Just as she began to move towards him Yeua could suddenly feel the strength in his body give out.

[Makurayami]

Omrie rushed forward past Satsuki, who was to happy to really react, and caught Yeua as he started falling towards the ground. He could see that he had started to give out, Omriw's eye-sight being as keen as it was. He gently lowered Yeua to the ground and let him rest there. Omrie then took off his trenchcoat and tore it into a few pieces. He used them to tie up Yeua's wounds.

"We need to get him out of here," Omrie said to Satsuki. She nodded. Omrie turned to the tiger. "And what are you suppose to do?"

"I'll go back to the guardians home until my new master finds my" he replied.

"New master?"

"Yes. My new master will come to me in one hundred years, when the new masters of the others shall come as well."

"If you say so," Omrie replied with a shrug. The tiger darted off and dissappeared into the distance. Omrie picked up Yeua and walked over to Satsuki. "Come-on. We need to get you both back to the base."

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki nodded, she knew he was right, she looked at her arm where her hadn had been covering it, it was turning a sickly green color from the poison still in her body. she followed Omire carefully, he seemed to know where he was going. She looked around and sighed as they walked.
"Is it all over? I mean is that it? Are we done fighting?"
Omire looked back at her for a moment and shrugged.
"Who knows...we'll have to wait and see when we get back."
A few hours later and they dound them selves healed and bandaged back at the base from where they left in the head master's office, Yuea was doing the report, the other two were standing at attention behind him. They all saluted and walked out as the headmaster and his assitant began to have a deep conversation.
"So boys, now what?"
Satsuki threw her arms around her companions shoulders as they walked down the hall to the cafiteria. Omrie wiggeled free as awlays.
"Well, we wait for our next orders. I mean...who know where we go from here."
Satsuki let go of Yuea and held his hand instead as they walked.
"I know! We'll become national heros!"
She threw her free arm out in a big gesture and laughed as Omrie ducked smiling.
"I'm sure your dream will come true someday Satsuki..."
"Oh you suck Omrie...dashing a pretty girl's dream..."
"Who says your pretty?"
"You jerk!"
she let go of Yuea and chased Omrie down the hall when the entered the cafiteria they stopped as the rest of the school stood and applauded. satsuki bowed dramaticly smiling up at Omrie and Yuea as he walked in as well.
"A dream huh?"
They got their food and sat together at a table inthe corner as everyone setteled down.
"Okay, so we know that Jericho was under the control of another...but who?"
Omrie looked up swallowing a mouth full of food.
"We'll most liekly be sent to fnd out..."
"You think they'll give us some support?"
"We did this alone didn't we? I doubt it Satsuki."
Yeah your right."
They ate in silence for a short time before Satsuki looked at her bandaged arm, Yuea looked at her.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, they healed it perfectly, no more poison but the thing is...I have a scar there now."
"But they should be able to heal wounds so they leave no scar..."
"It was a cursed wound... they said it would pain me for the rest of my life..."
She went back to eatting enjoying the hustle and bustle of her school again, enjoying the feeling of being with her friends and actually having them. But she was worried, what would come next?

Yeua thought to himself that he would be more than happy to be there to help Satsuki throught the pain. He would promise it to himself.

Once they finished their meals they all took off for the night to their seperate rooms. Yeua sat on his bed silently and looked at a picture that he had sitting above his bed normally. The picture was of two happy children. One of them was him and the other was Jericho. The Jericho that he used to love. The Jericho that he was friends with for years. The picture was a reminder of good times, which laid heavy on his heart.

Suddenly there was a pounding on his door. Yeua stood up to answer it setting down the picture next to his bed. The door slide open and the whieght on his heart lifted slightly as Satsuki stepped into his room. "Hi." She said and smiled as she came in.

"Hi Satsuki." Yeua replied. "What brings you down here?"

"I wanted to see you." Her smile melted his heart. He really loved the way that she looked at him.

"That makes me happy to hear, but you know that seeing another student this late at night is prohibited right?"

"Yeah I know about that rule, but there are a couple things with it."

"What would those be?"

"First of all unless you or I tell no one needs to know. Secondly we are no longer students. We graduated remember."

"Yeah we did." Yeua said sitting back down on his bed. "But it seems like so long ago. Like that last mission that we went on felt like it took forever.

Satsuki sat down next to him and slid over so that she was up againt him. He put and arm around her and she laid her head on his shoulder. "But a lot happened in the last mission. We ran into so many problems along the way. There was a lot of pain involved."

"But it brought us together." Yeua sighed. "That was one of the few good things that came out of it."

"Yeua don't stress about it too much." She gently stroked his face with her fingers. "I know what happened just as well as you do. We need to move on with out lives and we are going to do it together."

"Of coarse we are." He looked into her eyes for a moment and thought of only her. Of only what she meant to him. A sudden urge made him move forewards and kiss her. It was a very passionet and warm. It lasted for some time, but was intruppted by the buzzing of the com system by his bed.

"Yeua please report to the briefing room." The person on the other end said.

"Well then." Yeua said. " I guess they are calling us down for another mission."

"This late at night?" Satsuki questioned.

"I don't know why, but we are being summoned."

Together they got up and went out. They rushed down to the same room that they had recieved their first assignment in. One of the teachers that had taught Yeua was in there.

"Ah glad to see you two arrive." She said to them. "Just wait a few as we wait for your final teammate."

Satsuki and Yeua sat down a the table next to each other. Only a few minutes passed before Omrie joined them.

"Okay" The teacher said. "Now I can give you your new assignment. I know this is a bit short notice, but this is of the most importance. The assistant to the king, Lady Remonko, has requested you three to be her personal bodygaurds on a trip that she is taking."

"Where is she going?" Omrie asked.

"She doesn't want for you to know the location ahead of time. You just need to follow her. That is all. Have a good day and be careful."

The teacher turns around and leaves the three of them together in the room.

[Akieen Cloud]

"WHAT! YOU MEAN WE DON'T EVEN GET TO SLEEP IN A REAL BED BEFORE WE LEAVE!?"
Yuea chocked on his laughter as Omrie hid his smile.
"What? I'm being serious...I'm not leaveing till morning."
Yuea smiled and hugged her.
"That is when we leave."
"Oh...ok. goodnight boys."
she turned and left leaving the two to disscuss the mission. Yuea walked down the hall and opened his room and blinked as Satsuki was sitting on the edge of his bed swinging her feet back and forth.
"Satsuki...you okay?"
"I couldn't sleep..."
"I see that...everything okay?"
"Not really I keep having nightmares..."
"You wanna talk about it?"
"Not really..."
"Okay."
She sat there as he sat down beside her and she moved to cuddle against him, she lay down with her wrapped in his arms and sighed happily, in no time she was asleep and dreaming peacefully.

[Makurayami]

Omrie wondered the halls of the great school. No one really gave him hassle for being out at night and if they did Omrie knew how to hide in the shadows so no one could find him. It was a trick he had been doing since he was little. He was going over what he had learned when he had returned.

"Omrie, I need a word with you," the headmaster said. Omrie looked around. Yeua and Satsuki weren't around. It most be important.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Omrie, your father...don't give me that look. We researched you after you entered. Do you think we would let someone just walk in without any history? Anyways, your father died this morning. I know this may be hard to take, that's why I wanted to tell you alone. I'm sorry." The headmaster nodded and walked away.

Omrie stood there, paralyzed. He was going to go see his father before his next mission. Apologize for all he had done. Make up with him. Be a family again.

But now that was impossible.

Omrie sat against one of the walls. He had wondered to the archery range, where he had spent most of his time at the academy, when he had been withdrawn and emotionless. His father was dead. Dead. He couldn't get over it. He bowed his head and as a few tears slipped out. He didn't remebered when he fell asleep.

Someone prodded Omrie. He opened an eye and looked up, seeing Satsuki standing there.

"We're leaving in a half hour. Me and Yeua have been looking for you." Omrie nodded, and stood up. "Omrie, is something wrong?"

"I'll tell you when I'm ready, Omrie replied, sounding a bit more rude then he had wanted to. "Sorry," he said as he walked to his room. When he got there he found a new set of clothes sitting on his bed. There was a note next to them saying they were gifts from the school.

There were a pair of black pants, a long-sleeve shirt the same turquiose color as his guardian armour, a new quiver, this one to be worn on his back instead of his belt, and a pair of boots, new looking but the leather felt nice and soft, as if they were already ready for hiking. Omrie slipped them on and slipped his bow over his back. He looked back at his room and found something he had missed on the bed. They were a pair of wrap-around sunglasses.

Omrie smiled and slipped them on, hiding his eyes that were red from crying. He walked out of the room and into the main hall, waiting for the other two to meat him.

The three of them were excorted down to the same train that took them out of the school for their first mission. Only this time they would be going a lot further on the train. They were also instructed to keep an eye out for any possible attacks on the train mby Nine forces or monsters. If that does happen they are to engage in combat and continue to the capitol where they will meet the King's assistant. The three of them found a small cabin to sit in near the one that they had taken the first time they had traveled. They sat together as the train took off towards their next mission.
