RPG Dead Fate (M-LV)

[Makurayami]

Omrie looked out the window as the train moved. The country side was passing by them at a rapid rate. He smiled and looked at the other two.

"Just like the first mission, huh? Except now we're going to fight someone a lot tougher then the first." He leaned back a bit and closed his eyes behind his sunglasses. "Just what do we know about our enemy anyways? Walls said something about a queen...so are we fighting a 'queen'?" Omrie thought a bit more. This queen was a powerful sorceress, obviously. Why did a sorceress with a high political power sound like a deja vu?

"Wait," Omrie said slowy as he sat up. "Didn't the king have a powerful sorceress adviser? And didn't she go missing right before the war started?"

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki shrugged and used Omrie and Yuea's shoulder to hoist herslef onto the shelf above them, Omrie looked up.
"What are you doing?"
"Looking for bugs, I figured you would have done the same thing before you started to talk about that."
Desh appered infront of them and streched, Yuea and Omrie blinked.
"How are you diong that?"
Desh sat down and looked at them.
"As you grow in power so do we and inventually we can gain our own apperance."
He looked at Satsuki.
"If there was anything we would have sensed it."
"Well there si nothign, but it is really cool up here."
She giggled as she looked out the window above them. She moved her ehad back and forth singin softly.
"Train train take me away, take me away far away, to find my dreams and things I long for, Oh train take me away to my dreams..."
She slipped and flew fromt he space as the train lurched to a halt, she landed with a heavy thud and rubbed her butt.
"What the hell? We're not due to stop for antoher half haour for the next pick up..."
Omrie shook his head.
"It's regulation, a search by the base at check points befroe wee enter a new town."
"Oh, I get it...I'm gonna go look!"
she got up and raced out into the hall and over to the big side windows looking out with large bright eyes. Omrie looked at Yuea and laughed.
"Is it just me or has she softened up since we met her?"
"It's because she knows that she's not alone Omire, none of us are anymore, we have each other, like a small family."
Satsuki jumped onto the seat next to Omrie and threw her arm around his shoulders.
"Right! Which would make you like a brother to me!"
Omrie smiled half heartedly.
"And what would that amke Yuea?"
she froze and looked at Yuea.
"He doesn't count."
she smiled and looked up as the food cart went by and ran off after it chaseing it down for food. Omrie shook his head.
"Wish everyone were more like her...but not everyone can be that pure of heart."
Yuea nodded.
"She is special."
Satsuki opened the door, they blinked as she was hidded behind a moutain of food.
"Anyone but me hungrey?"
They laughed and helped her sort the food amougnst themselves and ate together talking about what things were going to be like, every now and then laughing at one another.

[Makurayami]

Omrie ate and smiled with the other two. It was nice to jsut talk and not have anything else to worry about. For the remaining half hour they talked until they came to a stop. The train unloaded its passengers, a few walking towards the city, a few going to other trains. Omrie wracked his brain for his mission specs.

"Lets see... we have to board train 472 here then board train 361 after that," he said as he looked over the train schedule posted. "472 isn't due for 35 minutes. What to do till then?"

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki jumped infront of them and smiled.
"Lets go look around."
She began to run a short distance and looked back laughing. Omrie leaned over to Yuea and whispered.
"She's like a little kid."
THey heard satsuki giggle as she looked at small animals as the played with her fingers.
"They're so cute!"
she looked around and spotted another booth.
"Oh! Look!"
The girl from before she left was standing by a booth looking at short swords.
"Ragina! Your okay."
She turned and looked at Satsuki and Satsuki froze.
"For the most part Satsuki, what about you?"
Satsuki looked at the young girl a patch was over her right eye and a porthesis arm replaced her left.
"I'm okay..."
She gave the girl a hug and said a few words to her and then walked back to the others, her face now set in a grim expression.
"Let's go guys, I think we should head for the station and get a good car for the trip. We have a while to got this time, nearly 4 hours, I think we should find a comfy one."
she walked away and wiped a stray tear off her cheek as she walked towards the train station.

[Makurayami]

Omrie nodded and followed the two through the crowds to the train station. They still had 15 minutes till departure, but Satsuki was right, they should get a good seat. They wondered for a bit then found a compartment that had two roomy benches and a big window. They sat down, Satsuki next to Yeua on one side and Omrie by himself on the other, and waited for the train to leave.

"Satsuki, who was that girl back there?" Omrie asked cautiously, tread on her feelings.

"I knew her back at the academy. She was sent into battle about the same time as our first mission," she said. Omrie nodded understandly and became quiet. The train suddenly gave a lurch and started going forward. Omrie laid back a bit and started thinking of his father again.

The trained jerked again as it took off again. "I'm going to go wander around a bit." Yeua said smiling a bit. He didn't really want to be cramped inside of the car the entire ride.

"Well be careful." Satsuki said wrapping her arms around him and giving him a big hug. he returns it and slides out of the door and into the hallway.

Yeua gets a few cars down and hears a deafening scream. he could tell it was coming from a woman. From under a door a small stream of blood is beginning to seep out. Yeua rushes to the door and forces it open with only a small dagger drawn to his hand. He looks to find a horrible site. Torn flesh lying around in bits and peices and a mangled torso. Blood was soaking into the carpeted floor in large moroon pools. Her head was halfway seperated from her body. The cavity of the chest was nearly emptied. Nearly because something inside of it was moving.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki ran out of the campartment and down the hall slipping on the blood, thankful that Omire was behind her to grab her before she fell.The sight made her want to vomit.
"Yuea, what's going on?"
"I have no idea, it was like this when I found her..."
"What is that?"
she pointed at the thing moving in the womens chest and felt the bile rise inher throat once again.

[Makurayami]

What in hell's name?" Omrie muttered to himself. He reached out with his tamer sense and felt the creature's mind. It was extremly primative. But something disturbed Omrie. No one was controling the creature.

Suddenly the creature shot out of the woman's chest, splashing blood and flesh everywhere. The creature resembled a weasel with short fur, which was coated in blood, and extremely dangerous looking teeth and claws.

The creature flew through the air at the three. Omrie quickly threw himself into Satsuki, who fell onto Yeua. The three landed on the ground in a heap but barely dodged the creature. It flew over them, letting out a loud growl of frustration.

"We can't fight in here." Yeua said as he slide out from under the heap and helped Satsuki back up. "There just isn't going to be enough room."

"May I suggest this." Satsuki said throwing herself against the train's window causing it to begin to break. Yeua smiled when he got the idea. The little veins where already there. He just had to finish the job. His sword was unsheathed and he stabbed it through the glass causing the veins to break apart and shatter around it. He turned to see the creature lunging out towards them again. Yeua was caught by it in the shoulder and he grabbed it falling backwords out of the window and rolled furiously on the ground outside.

Satsuki and Omrie followed closly so they wouldn't get too seperated. The train zoomed on as the three of them began their battle with the monster, being left in the dust.

[Makurayami]

Omrie had his bow out and an arrow knocked, but couldn't risk a shot. Yeua was too close. Then Omrie got an idea. "Yeua, throw it up!" he shouted. Yeua grunted in acknowledgment and wrestled with the creature a bit more. He suddenly gained control and tossed it into the air. Omrie aimed and shot at the creature. It hit it and went through, half of the shaft poking out the other side.

Yeua was getting up as the creature hit the ground with a dull thud. Omrie smiled. "Wasn't that hard..." he suddenly stopped. The creature was getting back up and was running towards the thrio, the arrow still sticking out of it.

"You got to be shitting me!" Omrie shouted as he knocked another arrow and took aim.

Yeua was taken by total surpise when the arrow began to sink into the creature, from both sides. It was like the creature was absorbing the arrow. "What the hell is this thing?" Yeua pulled out his sword still pretty sure that he didn't need to both Chu about this. "Hit it in the face and I'll cut the little gnat in half."

Omrie release the arrow catching the creature right between the eyes sending it flying back at Yeua. Yeua raised his blade and brought it through. The creature split down the center sending little bits of blood flying through the air. Yeua watched as the two halves thudded against the ground. "Now that should be enough."

All three of them looked on in horror as the two halves began to shake again. They reformed into two little creatures. "Oh shit." Yeua responded. "This isn't good at all." The creatures flew at him again, this time from two angles. He wouldn't be able to stop both of them. He knocked one away, but ther other dug it's teeth into his arm and bit down hard. Not enough to tear the flesh from his body, but it was hard and his blood was flowing quickly from underneath the creatures mouth. He punched it a couple times before it let go of him.

He kicked it away and stood at his gaurd. "I can't believe I'm getting my ass wupped by a ferret." He mumbled before turning and running towards Omrie. "Get ready to fire again."

"But it doesn't work." Omrie protested.

"Yes, but it stuns them. Maybe just long enough that I can get a warp around my arm. If I continue bleeding this badly I'll be dead in about an hour."

[Makurayami]

Omrie nodded and knocked two arrows. He waited for the creatures to come towards him, chaing Yeua, and fired, both arrows hitting. The creatures fell back and laid on the ground for a minute or so. Omrie hoped Yeua was putting on his wrap. The creatures quickly got up and shook themselves, the arrows starting to be engulfed by their bodies.

"I hope you got that wrap on, Yeua!" Omrie shouted as he sent two more arrows flying, hitting the creatures again.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki tapped into her magic and froze the creatures and looked at the others.
"I dunno why you didn't just use your magic...it's not that big of a deal."
She smiled and walked over to Yuea and gently lay a hand on his arm helping him with the wrap when she felt a chill go down her spin and Omrie take a step backwards.
"Your kidding me right?"
Yuea looked around her and shook his head.
"Alright, I think it's time to let it all out."
She spun around and grabbed a creature by the throat as it flew at her face, her lips curling back in a feral grin as Desh emerged from his hold in her. The creature squealed and began to squirm as Desh launched from Satsuki and faced the two creatures on the ground, his fangs showing brutally.
"Desh, think you can handle them?"
'I am sure that I can handle them'
"Good you do that, we'll find a way to catch the train."
He nodded and attacked the creatures and began to fight them barking here and there, snarling to make them fear him. Sat suki looked at the others.
"Any bright ideas?"

[Makurayami]

"I got one," Omrie replied. There was a flash and he transformed into his guardian armor. "Stand still and trust me," he said as he held his hand out in front of him. The winds around them slowly began to pick up. The continued to increase and increase until they were at hurricane force. The winds then bent around them and formed into a tornado with the three of them in the middle.

"Ugh!" Omrie grunted as he willed the tornado in the train's direction. The tornado started to move towards the tracks. It slowly began to pick up speed as it kept going. It then suddenly lifted off the ground, whirling and flying at a immense speed with the three still in the middle, perfectly fine though they had huge winds ripping around them at dangerous speeds.

The train slowly came into view. Omrie, who was pouring in sweat from the concentration, locked his jaw and grunted, trying to will the flying mass of winds to become even faster. They quickly bgean to gain on the train. They were just about three feet from it when the tornado started to waver a bit.

"JUMP!" Omrie shouted to the other two. Without question, which Omrie was highly grateful for, they pushed themselves forward and shot out of the wind tunnel. Satsuki went first and landed on the back platform of the caboose. Yeua went next, barely making it because the tornado was moving away from the train when he jumped. Omrie was last, still in the tornado.

He pushed forward and jumped. But he was too short. He felt himself fall and heard the other two shout something at him, but he was too tired to distinguish between words. Omrie felt the darkness taking him. He tried to fight it, but he was too tired. He passed out.

On the caboose, the two watched as Omrie fell and blacked out, shouting at him with no response. The train started to turn the corner, making them loose sight of Omrie.

But suddenly a giant falcon flew around the corner, Omrie in its talons. It swooped low and desposited Omrie on the caboose platform, still passed out. Jenon landed on the next to him and looked at the other two.

"He's tired. He's exerted too much magical energy. Let him rest," Jenon squawked.

[Akieen Cloud]

Satsuki sighed and nodded. She helped Yuea pick him up and slide down the side of the train to get inside. He handed Omrie to her and slide inside himslef and then they slowly made their way back to their compartment. She sttod outside the door looking out the window watching the land go by when Yuea put a hand on her shoulder.
"Your troubled..whats wrong?"
"Things are getting strange, like what was that thing we fought back there...it ws unlike anything-"
"I know Satsuki...but we have to have trust in each other and believe that we can do this."
"Yuea, we're just kids..how can the fate of the world depend on us three...we won't be able to even know what it was like in the acadamy as a graduate...we won't have the knowlage of the younger days that they will."
"Maybe thats for the best. With everything we've seen do you think you could still look at the world as a teenager again?"
she sighed and leaned back into him.
"I know your right and that's why I wnat to argue with it but I jsut wish that we could enjoy our young years like the others will."
"I'm sure we'll be able to make up for lost time when we can. Till then we have to do what we were sent to do."
"Save the world...its funy, the fate on the human race rests on three teenagers shoulders..."
She turned in his arms and kissed him lightly.
"We'll be famous if we win."
"We already are."
"Pity..."
She kissed him again and then went to check on Omire.

Yeua let Satsuki check on Omrie undisturbed. Instead he began walking back up the cars of the train. He came across the one where the woman had been killed by that creature just a little while before. The door had been closed. He figured that someone had discovered the dead body and had closed the door to keep the gruel site from having to be seen. He was actually just going to walk past it, but he got a funny feeling. In fact it was tingly. It was a tingly feeling in his pocket. With curiosity and a bit of hesitation he reached into his pocket and out came a necklass with a rare jewel on it. In fact the same one that he had been given by Chu, the real Chu.

"What the hell is this doing here?" He asked looking at the glowing jem. He had left it where they had buried the young Kellege's body. Sort of a parting gift to her soul, but it was here with him. He then pointed it towards the door and the glow grew brighter. With peeked interest he slid the door open slowly. Then he found that there was no body left in there. He would have guessed that someone may have removed it, but there were bloody handprints that weren't there before. In fact they went strait out of the broken window.

Yeua ran back to the room that he left Omrie and Satsuki in. He almost didn't see Satsuki coming out of the room and he tried to stop, but he bumped into her and nearly knocked her over. Fortunatly he caught her and pulled her into him. "Satsuki...something really fucked up is going on." He nerviously spoke.
