[color=orange][size=1][font=veranda]The student?s at Xavier?s Institute For The Gifted looked up from what they were doing in the halls as a man walked past, someone held gently in his arms. The man was the mutant Wolverine, and Jean Gray, as well as Kurt walked swiftly behind him. The student?s exchanged surprised looks as two teen-aged boys followed closely behind.

Murmurs ran through the halls of the add-on building, and Wolverine silenced them with a glare. Jean had her forehead wrinkled, and the bundle held in the powerful mutant?s arms struggled. The five turned a corner, and Jean opened a door. They all went in, and Logan laid the bundle on the small medical bed. It was a girl of about 13, and her clothing was ripped and bloody.

She had long, fierce rips down her left thigh, and more claw marks along her right shoulder and arm. Her stomach had five bullet punctures, and her right thigh had two.

Kurt breathed a prayer, and said, ?[b]I will go get Xavier.[/b]? He disappeared in a small cloud of smoke, and Logan?s ear?s popped as the air rushed to fill the empty space.

The two boys stood near the wall, shifting uneasily. Logan said without turning, [b]?You two ? what happened??[/b] The taller of the two boys said, looking at the ground,[b] ?We we?re running from two clones ? they looked like duplicates, and one had fierce claws. The other had a gun.?[/b] The other boy bit his lip, and continued their story, [b]?We we?re trying to get away from them. They had already shot as us a couple of times, though no one had gotten hit.?[/b]

Jean looked at them. [b]?Why didn?t you call for help??[/b] The tall boy swallowed.[b] ?We did, Ms. Gray, honest. Steffanie called, and someone answered. Only, no one came. The one with the claws caught up, and attacked Steff. They wrestled, and she tried to get away. That?s what those scratches are from. So she blasted apart the clawed one?s mind, and the other one shot at her.?[/b]

The smaller boy looked ashamed. [b]?We didn?t notice until it was over ? it only took five seconds. I saw the bullets, and fried the gun-wielder. ?[/b] Jean came over, and hugged them lightly. [b]?It?ll be all right, you two. We?ll take care of her.?[/b]

Steffanie felt the pain all over her body. The gashes in her leg burned, and she could feel the blood. It felt like it was crawling along her skin. Her head fell to one side, and she moaned in pain. The pain block Jean had put on her had shut down. Steffanie was a strong telepath, and Jean?s power?s canceled out.

She felt someone come into the room, and her body lurched in a spasm of pain as she felt the bullets being taken out of her stomach. The pain caused her to black out.

A woman sat cross-legged at the base of the tree, and watched as three figures slinked up out of the shadows. She said in a low, sultry voice, [b]?My servant?s, where are the other two??[/b] Two of the figure?s knelt, while the other bowed its head.

[b]?Destroyed.?[/b]

The woman raised a delicately arched eyebrow. [b]?Oh? And are the three mutant children also dead??[/b] The one still standing shrugged. [b]?I do not know. We lost them. Five and Four followed them where we could not.?[/b]

The woman closed her eyes, then opened them, enraged. [b]?They are not dead! Did I not warn you what would happen if you failed me again?!?[/b] The clones stepped back, each mutant form standing out.

[b]?We could not follow them!?[/b]

The woman stood, her pupil?s dilated to mere slits. Her pointed ears twitched in irritation as she lashed out at them. Long, feral claws raked across their skin, piercing the metal beneath. [b]?Do you see what they made me? Do you see?! I am a mutant now! And it is all their fault!?[/b] She swiftly sliced their heads of with her razor sharp claws, then folded herself back down at the base of the tree as they crumpled.

[b]?I will kill those three. I will destroy them, and anyone else who stands in my way.?[/b]

You know, I actually have an idea of how this should end. ^_^ This is a unique story, loosely and roughly based on X-men. I am not paying the movies any attention for this RPG (though I have seen both and love them), or the comics. Pretty much the only thing the three have in common is the characters, the setting (though a new building has been added on because of more students), and the fact that everyone hates them. This RPG was based off a weird dream I had, and so a lot of the things will be different. Let?s hope the detail makes up for it. It may be a long read, so sit back and relax.

The main enemy is a woman called Katya, a used-to-be human who was warped by her daughter?s powers. Her daughter, Steffanie, is what is called a Mixed Blood. She was born to two humans, but seems to have a strong set of powers, not just one. Her friends do, too, but only a couple. When Steffanie was born, her mother went into a coma, and Steffanie was given to a foster family.

One night, on Steffanie?s twelfth birthday, Katya disappeared completely. All that was left was a few cat-like hairs. Katya spent a long time in the forest, the mutant changes completely estranging her. She was found, by the old enemies of the X-men ? Magneto and Mystique. Pyro was with them, and totally changed. Rogue and Bobby wouldn?t recognize him if they saw him now. The three helped Katya get her newly found powers under control.

Steffanie, unaware, called out for help when they were running from her mother?s clones. Mystique heard, and laughed at her mentally, giving the clones the trio?s place. Mystique, Magneto, and Pyro now tail the three, and are working beside Katya, though for their own purpose. Katya wants the trio dead; Magneto wants the X-men destroyed.

Now, where do Steffanie?s friends come in? The two boys are Steffanie?s best friends, and one is her foster brother. They both have their own powers, and have been helping the girl run from her mother. Thus, Katya wants them all dead. And, as the X-men are saving them, she willing joins Magneto in his efforts to destroy every one of them.

:p Okay, not as detail as I expected it to be. As I said: this is unique, and all it really relates to is the basic concept. You can be anybody; Jena Gray, Beast, Nightcralwer, Pyro, Bobby, Rogue, Shadow Cat, Katya, Magneto, anyone. I will play Steffanie; who ever wants play her buds needs to PM me first. You can be any of the X-men, any of the bad-guys, or you can make up a character. I don?t want to many made up characters, though, or it could get confusing.

[u]Appearance:[/u] Steffanie stands about 5?6?, and weighs 132 lbs., exactly. Her chestnut hair is wavy and falls mid-back, with a part down the middle, and no bangs. She often wears a black head band, wears black, short denim shorts, with frayed edges, a loose black tank top, a black hoodie with ?Bad Kitty? on it in white letters and a black and white kitten, outlined in white, black No Boundaries tennis shoes, and black ankle socks. She has five ear piercings: three in the upper cartilage (a jade stud, a silver hoop, and a aquamarine stud) and two in the lobe (medium sized silver hoop, and jade stud). She wears a silver choker with a pentacle on it, and purple beads, and a silver choker with a silver cathead charm. Her eyes are a dark green that often change to grey when she gets ticked. What the teen wears changes.

[u]Biography:[/u] Steffanie never knew her real parent?s. She grew up with Lily and Caleb Jacobson, her adopted parents. As the middle child in the family of three, Steffanie was content to not be noticed. Steffanie was born in Atlanta, and they moved to this town when she was five. Her younger brother was born when she was seven and her older brother nine. Steffanie had many friends, until she accidentally hit someone in the head with a math book.

Steffanie was in fourth grade when this happened. She was at her desk, doing her schoolwork, and someone came up behind her. When they touched her shoulders, the math book flew off the desk beside her, and slammed into the girl?s head. The girl had to go to the hospital with a concussion, and no one came near Steffanie anymore. First, they were afraid of her, and second, she had made it move without touching it.

Steffanie made it all the way to the sixth grade before someone would talk to her. She had gotten used to the only one talking to her being her older brother, and when someone approached her in the hallway, she was startled. The boy was nice to her, and apparently it turned out to be a dare. Unfortunately for the boy?s friends, he never spoke to them again. He thought she was nice, and cool, and (though he?d never admit it) very cute. They became fast friends, as well as him and her brother getting along. The three managed to become a lot closer than should have been possible.

One day, near the beginning of seventh grade, Steffanie and her friends were climbing trees. Her friend fell out, and she reached out, even though she was to far away to catch him. He stopped two inches from the ground, and Steffanie lowered him to the ground in shock. When they all came down, they figured out that Steffanie was telekinetic. They spent the rest of the day experimenting, and found out the boys were, too. Now Steffanie and her friend are in 8th grade, while her brother is in 10th. The trio was out playing soccer, and they were attacked. They managed to loose the first three clones, but two hung on viciously. And you know the rest. Now Steffanie lays unconscious and dreaming, with the mutant?s watching over her.

Mutant abilities: He can create, manipulate, exstinguish and control Fire and Ice by a mere thought or touch aswell as control room temperatures, he has the ability of...Telekinesis, he also has Rogues ability which is obsorbing others memories and abilities but there's a slight difference...he can also use this ability pysically and mentally with the help of Telekinesis.. by touch or mere thought...he can keep his abilities under control to a very slight degree but when his emotions run wild so do his powers...making him a wild card

Personality: He stands a 5'11", he is very wiry and broad shoulder, very quiet (Too quiet) and shy, keeps to himself for fear of hurting people, His abilities rage with his emotion...thats either being happy, sad, angry...etc, so to keep them supressed he tries to feel nothing...and the only way he can do that is to be alone...although that doesn't seem to work to good

Bio: Soulin grew up in a number of Orphanages, he went from one Orphanage to another after either burning it down or causing chaos which wasn't his intention, at the last Orphanage he burnt it to the ground out of rage and killled three innocent people and they named him the Devils son, he desperately ran to save himself and he found himself at the school on the day that Steffanie and the boys were attacked, he had seen the clones and what they had done and then he saw a clawed man and lady ran over to help them just as he was about to but he stood back in the shadows watching, he noticed the lady with red long hair look around as if she felt his presence, he then ran across the field and banged into the clones, they were just about to shoot him when he flew into the air but then a girl knocked them out before he could do anything...she had a long brown hair with a white strip which hung down over her face and she introduced her name as Rogue....his face went red...

Personality: Not the easiest person to get close to. She doesn?t have friends, but those who do know her, and have gotten to know her, find her to be a very trustworthy. She?s very blunt and rather gets to the point then have a small chat. Not a social person, but speaks her mind when the time calls for it. Doesn?t let people walk all over her, and sticks up for those she sees is being treated unfairly

Biography: Sarah got her name because of her Sage green eyes. Her father was a mutant as well, but was killed by the neighbors out of fear. Her mother tried to conceal the fact that her daughter was a mutant, but the neighbors figured since the father was, the child must be as well. The mother was killed trying to protect Sage, when Sage was 13 years old. She teleported out of the house as soon as they came for her.

While wandering on her own, Members of Xavier?s Institute came and observed her as she teleported from one place to another. They took her under her wing, and she soon discovered their names were Logan and Jean. They were the only people she trusted and wanted to be around.

When she arrived at the school, she took a liking to it very quickly. She didn?t talk to many people because she didn?t want friends. She didn?t want people to feel as if they needed to protect her. Because her parents had both died trying to protect her. So she chose to be alone.

She?s very serious, and hardly ever smiles. But when she does, it?s only for a brief moment. When she first heard about Stephanie, it shocked her that any of the students there could be in danger. It angered her to think someone would hurt another person. She got information about her by overhearing conversations that went around the school. And she was determined to help her in any way she can.

Appearance: Long black hair, braided in a ponytail-type thing, Small styleish glasses, Leather overcoat. White skin, green eyes, pointed fetures, Black, baggy, pants, and a red bandanna that he wares around his neck. Also he has a red shirt under his coat, which is always unbuttoned and unkempt.
Personality: Mysterious, loner, almost constently smoking a ciggerette, sleeps through most classes.

Biography: A loner from bearth, he always seems to be alone. He lived a fairly normal life, apart from this, untill he was 10. No one really knows what happened. In an incredible flip of rage, Kieldro's mutant powers were unleashed. His house went up in flames. Everyone inside died. But kieldro, kildro walked from the inferno unharmed, but he then collapsed. That is his power. When kieldro harnasses his skill, a powerful entaty enters his body. It takes complete controle and goes on a rampage, unleashing the other powers of Kieldro, such as Flame creation and cousing spontanus explosions! That washis life. Xavier tracked him down eventually, and decided that he could help. Unpridictable, he is still undecided which side he is on. We will have to wait and see, now wont we?

Name: Nathaniel "Danny" Fern
Mutant Name: Nerve
Mutant Ability: Slight telepathy, telekinesis, 'mind evasion' (explained in Bio).

Age: 13
Gender: male
Appearance: Stands at 5'9'' with an average teenage build. He has bright blue eyes that may change very subtely from time to time. His hair is nearly black and he lets it grow out a bit. His face is rather innocent, though well on it's way to being a 'young man'. He prefers to wear a gray hoody with a big yin-yang symbol on the back, and a plain white shirt underneath it- Baggy black jeans, worn down and accidentally washed too hard a few times to make the black color fade a bit- blue and white Nike shoes with parts of the rubber underside peeling off and a dark green bandana he likes to wear around his forehead sometimes.

Personality: 'Danny' always tries to look more or less on teh bright side of his life, but usually ends up remembering the bad parts. He does his best to be friendly to others, and- like any other teenage boy- can be a little awkward around girls. He's very defensive, but tries not to let it show too much. When he has a problem, he'll mostly keep it to himself. If he does tell anyone, it's probably Steffanie or her brother.

Biography: Nathaniel Fern was born a more or less normal child. He never saw or knew his parents very much, as they were constantly away on 'Business trips' since he was a baby. Most likely, the real reason they were away so much was to hide from the child the fact that he was a mutant. His 26 year old cousin took care of him most of his life,so she was more like a mother figure to him.

He never really liked his name and started calling himself 'Danny' at school. He got along pretty well with other people and had at least a few friends up until 6th grade. A dare from one of his peers to talk to what most considered teh school outcast changed his life. Quite literally. The dare was a bit more specific, but Nathaniel/Danny can't remember what exactly it was anymore. The importantt hing was, he found that Steffanie wasn't as bad as they made her out to be.

He abandoned his friends, since they would never understand a person like Steffanie. He was her friend from then on, and even bonded a little with her older brother. f course, the thought of being something mroe than just a friend of Steffanie's has crossed his mind many times, he would be too embarressed to ever admit it.

And of course, it happened. Danny fell out of their favorite climbing tree, and- stopped in mid air? They found Steffanie was telekinetic, and after several hours of curious experiementing, discovered he and her brother were as well. They all, of course, had their unique abilities. Danny eventually discovered he could become effectivaly 'invisable'. Other people simply wouldn't notice him until he wanted to be noticed. He had in fact shown the trate since he was small, but only realized it now. People would walk right past him, even step around or over him as long as he didn't want to be seen. Strange indeed.

They were attacked. It still seems a slight blur to him, but Danny remembers that these... clones, seemed very interested in Steffanie.[/COLOR]

Mutant Name: Shadow
Age: 17
Gender: Male

Mutant Ability: Shadow has the abilities to change the molecules in his body and at will be able to phase through solid object like his mentor ShadowCat. But Jim can also breath underwater once he is trying to phase unlike Shadowcat which gives him a slight advantage over her.

Appearance: Jim/Shadow stands around 6'0'' with a very well built body. He has brown eyes to match his hazle nut colored hair going in all different directions (bed hair). He mostly wears black cargo pants with some of the ends trailing to the floor and wears a tight red short sleeve shirt with two red armbands on both of his arms.


Personality: Jim is very open and honest to his friends, he likes to bring out the happy side of them when they seem sad or mad about something. He's very easy to get along with and doesn't lose his temper.He likes to meditate a lot to clear his mind of any destractions that might upset him. Jim is very protective of his friends when they are in danger. He is not much of a fighter, more of a "quick escape" person to his allies in combat.

Biography: Four years ago Jim started to get sick a lot and had to go to the nurse's office about 3 times a week at school. He was getting severe headaches that almost made Jim pass out in class. One day after school when a storm was coming towards his quiet little town Jim was running home after making up a test me missed a while back, but while running he started to fell pain in his head and stopped in the middle of an empty street to take a breather. Jim didn't realize that he was struck by lightening until he opened his eyes to see the ground had been burned badle and there was a large black mark where he stood. The next morning when Jim got up he noticed a few strange looking people talking to his parents while having some tea. The man in whe wheel chair was Charels Xavier and he had a school for gifted mutants, his companions Beast and Shadow cat expained his powers to him and how he could use them for good. Jim didn't hesitate and accepted their help to control his pwers.

For three years Jim has trained his ShadowCat to control his powers along with other members of the X-Men. He has also grew from a 5'6'' to a 6'0'' height, he also trained with Beast and Jean to control his anger and put it to a different use so as not to harm others. Now Jim goes by the name of "Shadow" when he goes on missions with the X-M, Shadow also goes to some of the peace talkes Xavier gives to the United Nations every month about mutants and humans living together. It really inspires Shadow that Xaviers dreams might come true some day.

Mutant Ability: Telekinesis, Weak Hypnosis, Warp (explanation in bio)

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Imric stands at 5'8'' with a slim build but strong none the less. His eyes are a deep green with no pupils and his hair is dark blue, long bangs covers his eyes most of the time unless he is using Hypnosis. He usually wears his 3 foot long hair back in a long, slim braid that reaches well past his waist.
His face is slim and some would call him pretty, although they wouldn't say it in front of him again after that. He usually wears a serious expression unless he is with his 'sister', she always makes him smile.
Note: he looks [I]very[/I] scary when he's pissed off.

Personality: Imric is a pretty honest guy. he says what he likes when he likes because if someone has a problem with him, he'll just Hypnotise them while he makes his escape. Of course, this only works on normal people, this power wouldn't even phase any mutant that is his level or higher.
Usually the boy is quite happy as he spends most of his time with his sister, Steffanie, but there was one incident when the two were separated, when Imric was brought to the school deans office for misbehaving in class....the headmaster almost lost his office when the boy went literally insane and was restrained by 4 teachers. He is known for having a short fuse, especially in battle.

Bio: Imric loves his sister very much, he has done from when they first became a family and the fact will never change.
Since they were little, the two dreamed of becoming heroes and saving the world but as they grew older, the talks and the games faded away to make way for more alone time.
This got Imric down and he'd try to spend every moment he could with Steff. Eventually this got her annoyed, she would shout at him and not talk to him for a couple of days, calling him possessive and clingy.
After a few years of this, Imric finally accepted that Steff wasn't a little kid who needed to be baby sited, especially on that day when Danny fell.

Throughout his life Imric had been labelled as weird, even a freak. Especially by his Uncle, who was, by coincidence, a scientists studying mutations.
One summer at a simple family gathering when Imric was 5, his Uncle decided to give the poor young boy a test.
He grabbed a hot skewer from the fire and thrust it at hard as he could towards the boy chest.
Imric's eyes widened but before he knew it, he was behind his Uncle, in mid air.

He had the power to warp, splitting time and his body enabling him to pass through the air at great speeds and end up somewhere completely different, not to mention destroying things at a great speed too. The only thing people would see was a blur and what looked like to be his body repeated in a trail of silver. (If you've seen Chronicles of Riddick, imagine what the Lord Marshal looks like when he 'warps').

From that day on, Imric was never viewed in the same way by his family, the only ones who truly loved him were his parents, and that relationship was starting to tear.
But on that day when Imric found that his two best friends had abilities, he was both scared and delighted at the same time. but who would have thought that the three would now be running for their lives? [/COLOR]
