Akai'Teth, the story begins

The wind blew harshly that day across the land of Akai?Teth. Everyone could feel the same drop in the pit of their stomachs as they watched their loved ones leave only to be travelling to their deaths.

The people of Lei-Su all lined up along the outskirts of Enchant, casting luck charms and various other spells in a hope of aiding their families.
But one girl was not present, one who knew she would loose her brother. She instead stood on the roof of her house, looking out over the lands, checking the telescope to see how far the army had gone.

If she squinted she could just she the islands of Ru?ke-Whim. A frown crossed her face, she knew that the first army her brother would hit would be theirs. Even though the people of those beautiful cities were not as powerful with aggressive spells, they were very smart and once the two armies clashes, magic would be no use against a long spear to the gut.

She sighed and felt a tear run down her cheek, staring into the horizon she remembered the old days. How she had enjoyed them.
She even remembered a wine festival in Auro?shi, she had gone on her 6th birthday and the tribe she visited had given her special juice made from the first ripened grapes of the season.

Now, all of those days would end forever. Once a neighbouring realm crossed into Auro?shi they would destroy the vineyards.

As the girl was about to cry out loud she heard her mothers shout from downstairs,
?Blair, I packed your things?you should go?I?m sure you?ll meet others.?

Blair nodded and flicked her light pink hair back as she climbed the ladder down from the roof into her bedroom.
To travel to Light Peak was her only mission now, she just prayed that there were others who wanted peace just the same.

Okay, to travel to Light Peak is your mission! So, in your first post just talk about preparing etc. and we?ll eventually all meet up as we travel to our destination. I?ve decided not to use the chapter system since I haven?t planned too much ahead, I?ll just be prodding people in the right direction occasionally ^_^;
Right, the people who are playing are:

Crucifix-Blair Connor- From Lei-Su
Delirium- Kita Cannon- From Auro?shi
Kittychanann-Iris Bloom- From Auro?shi
Legacy- Kit Talbain- From Yul-kash
Undefeated- Garet Jax- From Yul-kash
Terra- Cerra Hayle- Ru?ke-Whim

Guest Midnight Rush
Garet Jax drained his glass, savouring the taste of Auro'shi's finest wine. He smiled as he knew that it would be a long time, if ever, that he'd have such a peaceful moment. Jax swirled the dregs of the wine around as he thought, When I get to Mount Akai, I guess I'll look for that sword dad kept talking about. But what to do from there? Dammit... I walk by the sword... may it guide me.

He sighed and stood, stretching out his full height. He was 19, and handsome, but his face was lined and worn from years of hiding. He had grown up too quickly, and if it wasn't for his youthful vitality, you'd think he was 40.

Picking up the small allowance of food he had packed, as well as his weapon, "Ex Hope" and left his small apartment. Stepping out into the greenery of the Auro'shi-an countryside made him feel warm inside, but he quickly reminded himself that it wouldn't be green for much longer. It troubled him that in the High Places and Temples of the Four Lands, the drums of war once more beat to a song composed by death.

Garet Jax whistled an ancient song, scanning the horizon for the Mountain of Light. Not twenty miles away, he figured on a leisurely two day trip. "Even the greatest journies begin with the smallest steps." He mused, taking the first steps of his journey...

Kit looked up from polishing hos sword, the moon's call beckoning him to look up, above the forested realm of nature. A cool, moist wind played across his pale skin, fluttering through his ivory hair.

The breeze reminded him of his former home, a place he'd left on no uncertain terms a year and a half ago, immediately after his coming of age. Kit scowled. There was no way in the name of Akai that he was going back to Yul-Kash. Never, if he could help it.

Akai....Kit smiled upon remembering the message plainly etched into the fallen god's skull, a reminder of days long, long past and a warning for days far, far yet to come. Or maybe not so far, Kit thought. Even now, he felt the skull beckoning him, calling him to it like an aroused lover waiting for her mate.

Kit crushed that thought firmly behind a wall of hate. He had no use for petty things like sex. He'd had enough of that with his father hovering over him, leather strap in hand. He'd had enough of it when Jaimie'd gotten pregnant with that rebel's child. He smirked viciously as he reached into his back and pulled out the letter he'd gotten from her, begging him to come home and take care of the child she'd suddenly claimed was his.

The child had red eyes. Eyes like that rebellious upstart. No way in Akai's name was that child his. She'd wanted him back ever since he grew a backbone, since he'd graduated as the best warrior Yul-Kash had to offer at the time.

Ever since Mikhail had left her.

Another, more vicious sneer replaced the smirk, and Kit knew it. He had yet to be bested by any who lived outside of Auro'shi's borders. Kit's clawed right hand curled into a vicious fist, sharp nails miraculously not cutting into his palm. Kit was prepared, Kit was ready. He lifted his pack, settled it across his back, and made sure his skintight tunic was settled properly on his body. He spared a tired, disgusted glance at the letter, now spread on the ground, and gave a quick spit.

He never turned back. He didn't have to see the ink running like a lost maiden's cold, wet tears. He knew that's what it was doing.
