[font=Arial][size=1][color=#4169e1]Skateboarding was a big thing in those big cities, full of poverty and drugs, and other things of the type. You'd actually be hard-pressed to find a single person who hasn't at least once rode a skateboard.

Kids and teenagers always had conversations about who was the best pro skater, or which was the hardest move to pull. No matter where you went, it seemed as though skateboarding was a fad that wouldn't die out. Only problem was, it was a fad that was almost almost completly followed by trendseekers, who only followed what was said to be hot and hip.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=#4169e1]Soon, though, the trendseekers forgot about skateboarding. They started to switch to other sports like rollarblading and snowboarding. They didn't think skateboarding was cool enough for them anymore. After the trendseekers had left, the only ones who remained were the diehard skaters who still aspired to be professional skateboarders.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=#4169e1]Well, those who stayed loyal ot the sport and still thought they were as good as pro got their chance to prove it when a announcement was heard about a new Skate Competition. They said any skater was welcomed to cpmpete, and all the pros would be their as well, competing. Turned out their only problem was that the competition was being held in Miami, Florida, and skaters these days were almost always low on cash.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=1][color=blue]So each character can live and start out in whatever city you want, but they all have to make their way to Miami, and skate the competition. Also, I'll add a few twists myself later on if enough people sign up, post, and we actually make the competition.[/color][/size][/font]

Bio: Sean grew up in the ruff part of Illinois, Alton. Sean grew up with the worst of them. The town of Alton was nothing more than a ghost town, which he was merely a ghost living there. His life had tuffs and turns from day one, the druggies pissing him off at the skate park, and his friends abondoning him a few years ago when they cheated a sponser.
He was left, no-where to go, only him and his skate-board by his side. Since his friends left he'd been at the skate park nerely every day of his new life. The skate park now dead from any activity apart from him. But one day, in his local Skate Shop which was about to go under a poster was shown.

"Skate Comp. Miami. Come All Skaters"

This was his break, he needed to get there, and by needing to get there, he had to get a sponser from his shop which was about to go under.That was his only hope. He returned home to get his camera and record some footage......and thats where his story begins.

Description: Sean's black hair brings the most out of his bright blue eyes. His hair has a finge just lying in his eyesight. Sean's hair he usually keeps down or maybe spike it up, but mainly keeps it down. Sean usually wears a wripped Atticus t-shirt or an Emrica top. For his jeans he usually wears cut 3?4 lengths and a pair of éS Skate Shoes. Either that or a pair of average baggy jeans.

Board: A simple Birdhouse deck, black and red in color. The griptake is an average black.......The board might change if he gets sponsered by his local skate shop.[/COLOR]

Bio: Seth Lakes is the kinda guy who doesnt really care about school or his grades, all he wants to do is skate. He doesn't care what other people think of him but he likes attention and almost always has to have it.
Seth was busy showing off at the skate park Doing the simple kickflips and and 50-50 grinds when he stacked, he fell onto the gravel and grazed his arm and chest badly. His white school shirt (his favourite shirt) was now red. He ran over to his friend and they skated back to his friends place.
When they got there the bleeding had stopped but he had to change his shirt. His friend told him to use one of his brothers shirts. So Seth went up to change and when he pulled down one of the shirts (birdhouse) a flyer fell out. It read "Skating comp Miami. All skaters welcome" thats when his dream unfolded.

He heard about the competition from his only friend Jake. Tyler decided on entering the competition because he might make some new friends who see him as a skater not a rich kid.

[B]Bio[/B]: When Ben was young, his parents signed him up for the "ordinary" sports, like baseball, but he wanted no part of it. One day while at school, he noticed come kids skating. He was entranced in the sport from then on. He always wanted to ask his parents to buy him a board, but was afraid to. He finally built up the courage to ask, and his parents didn't blow up, like he feared. They said that they would buy him one THAT DAY. He was so excited. They drove to the nearest Ambush and he began scanning the shelves. Then he saw it...his board...the Darkstar deck. From then on he had taught himself how to skate and has competed in a few comps. Now that he is 17, he has driven around to many skate parks and one day he saw a flyer. "Skate Comp - Miami - All skaters welcome." He went home, packed some essentials, and bid farewell to his parents. He was off to skate in Miami.

[b]Bio:[/b] Shenlong grew up with Sean as his best friend, and best skate buddy. He used to take up the sidewalks with his board, while Sean was over at the skate park. Shenlong was a loner besides a few local girls and Sean, because of his funny bronx accent before he came to Alton.

Shenlong used to live in New York in a heavly populated dark urban town. Skating was the only escape from drug houses, (which he grinded some heads with his custom board.) However, his mother sent him to Alton in an attempt to give him a better life.

On the day when Sean and Shenlong were in the Skate Shop, and saw the flyer, he was hyped.
