RPG World Cup Dreams [PG-VLS]

[Bullet Theory]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]There was a shot near the top of the box...it went screaming toward the top left corner of the net. The goalie dove with his arms outstreched but to no avail, for it was a goal. The final whistle blew, ending the US National Soccer Championship game. Jac's team had lost.

The teams lined up and shook hands and the captain of the winning team, the Lions, turned and shouted to Jac, "Thanks for the free goal, buddy!" This infuriated Jac. Saying that you got a "free goal" is the worst possible thing to ever say to a goalie, let alone at the National Championship. Jac turned around and charged Kevin, who was the captain. Jac's team, the Cyclones, followed him and the fight began. Goalie fought Goalie, striker fought striker, and captian fought captain. Once the dust settled, Only Jac and Kevin were left on the field. The other players had been restrained.

"This isn't over Kevin, you know that." Jac said with fire in his soul.

"Oh, but it is, Jac. You will never be able to play against us ever again." Kevin retorted.

Jac began to pull back his fist once more but stopped himself. He knew better and was better than that. Instead, he held out his hand.

"Dispite my hate for you, Kevin, you won. Good game." Jac said through clenched teeth.

Kevin shook his hand. "Good game."

After Kevin walked away, Jac walked toward his team with his head low.

"Well guys, I'm sorry. This was all my fault." Jac said.

"Jac, none of this was your fault. The defence was taxed by the end of the game and Kevin just blew past us." Mira said, trying to comfort him.

"No. I should've blocked that last shot...I've let you guys down." Jac told the team. "I'm sorry."[/COLOR]

[Ezekiel]

[COLOR=SlateGray]"You shouldn't beat yourself up over something like that, Jac, it's a team game." Imric was again left to be the one comforting his friend, Jac always done this every time he missed a shot. Even though it was never his fault.
The blue haired teen nursed a bruise forming on his cheek,
"I'm striker, so I should have scored more goals, ne?" Imric nodded a couple o times, "So, feel free to blame out loss on me."
Jac opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by one of the girls,
"Eh? What are you talking about, you boys, I play in defence, I should have blocked the shot!"
"No no, we have to blame this on one person, Mira," Imric was about to continue but Katie-Lee cut in, blaming herself.
"Okay guys, you've made your point..." Jac grumbled, rubbing his jaw where Kevin had landed a hard punch.

Imric smiled slightly and hooked his right arm around Jac's neck, pulling him down, "That's right, kid, just think...next time, we'll thrash 'em, right?"

Jac grinned and nodded,
"Um...you can let me go now, Imric."

"No can do buddy. Hey! Everyone! Who wants ta give our rubbish gaolie a noogie?"

A cheer rose up from the corridor and Jac laughed, trying to pull out of Imric's strong headlock as he was being attacked from all sides. After that, even though Jac's head was throbbing, everyone was in high spirits.[/COLOR]

[Persona]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]Mira had stopped laughing and began to look at her friends in their cheerful moods. She was glad to see Jac happy and the others, but she couldn?t stop blaming herself for lack of defense. But she rubbed it off and joined in the laughter.

?Hey you guys how about I treat you guys for a trip to the ice cream place after school?? Mira said all cheesy.

?What! We lost and you wanna go celebrate?? Imric said passing one hand through his blue hair.

?No you idiot! I want to celebrate on our friendship?.at first we didn?t start off good, but now we?re all close and that?s what I wanna celebrate. You got a problem with that, Imric!? Mira said pointing her finger at him.

As Imric was about to speak Katie push him out the way and spoke.

?Well I think it?s a great idea, so after school right?? Katie said with a sweet smile.

?Well it does sound cheesy, but I?m up for it!? Imric said with a big grin on his face.

Mira spotted Alex, he was quiet and seem to be thinking of something.

?Hey Alex you in or what?? Mira purposed

?Yea, sure? said Alex with a slight smile.

?Hey Jac you to?? Katie said hoping to hear yes.

?Just as long as you guys don?t beet me up, I?ll go.? Jac said feeling his head.[/COLOR]

[Skye]

[color=orange]Katie-Lee laughed, and ran a hand through her choppy, silver hair. ?Promise? Sorry, no can do. We can try, though.? She chuckled, and breathed in and out, watching the other team doing a victory dance. ?Gods, and you?d think they had just been awarded a million dollars the way their dancing.?

Jac sighed. ?They might as well have.? Katie flicked him in the back of the head. ?What did we say about negative emotions?? Jac grinned sheepishly, ?Sorry, Katie.?

The silver-haired girl reached up, and took out her contacts, and grabbed her glasses from the bench. ?I hate contacts. Unfortunately, I can?t play with glasses on.? Her dark blue eyes sparkled behind the small, rectangular frames.[/color]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]Jac stood there, marveled at Katie-Lee. He found himself standing there frozen, gazing into her eyes.

"...What? Jac?" Katie said.

"Oh sorry. I don't...know what came over me..." Jac said slightly blushing.

"Jac...are you blushing??" Katie asked.

"Um...no?" Jac replied trying to hide his embarasment.

"Haha. Suuure you're not. Anything you wanna talk about?" Katie said, nudgeing Jac's chest.

Jac looked around him, seeing his team still messing around. "Maybe later. Too many people."

She took his arm and walked his over to the consession stand about 25 yards away from the rest of the team. "Better?"

"I guess." Jac replied. "Well Katie...ever since we met at the beginning of this season...I've been drawn to you for some reason. I can't put my finger on it, but I think..." Jac paused.

"What is it?" Katie said, blushing.

"Well...I think I'm falling in love with you..." Jac told her, blushing madly.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue] Mira notices that Katie and Jac left. She grabbed her to friends and pulled them down in a huddle.

"Hey what you suppose they are talking about...I know they probably are in love!No thats not it...damn." Mira said tugging at the boys.

"Hey can you be more gentle...seeeesh!" Imric said in a hurtful voice.

"Well anways....maybe I should....no I'm not ready." Mira said blushing a little.

"What are you talking about?" Alex said looking confused.

"Oh nothing..lets go, they'll catch up." Mira said lettong them go.[/COLOR]

[Ezekiel]

[COLOR=SlateGray]Imric fixed his hair and huffed a little as he watched Mira walk out. He just totally, completely did NOT understand that girl...at all.
He pushed his glasses up his nose and shrugged as he walked out the door to follow his friends.

The sky was clear and the day was getting hotter, it was a time to relax and calm down form a hard match.

"So, what are you guys doing today?"

His question fell on deaf ears as Alex and Mira talked. He pouted slightly and flushed red with anger.
He stalked up behind Mira and grabbed the back of her hair, pulling her back so her head rested just above his stomach.

"Did ya hear me?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]Jac noticed that the others were walking off and motioned for Katie and himself to run to join with them. She agreed and they caught up.

"Where you guys gonna just leave us?" Jac asked.

"Well you two lovebirds were just chatting it up over there alone, so we figured we'd leave you guys alone." Imric said.

"We're not lovebirds!" Jac yelled, blushing.

"Then why are you blushing, Mr. Goalie Man?" Mira asked, nudging Jac's arm with her elbow.

"I'm...not blushing! I'm just sick okay!" Jac said, blushing more-so now.

"Suuure, you are Jac." Alex laughed.[/color]

[Skye]

[color=orange]Katie-Lee punched Alex (who had mimicked her ?suuure?) on the shoulder. ?Cut it out!? Alex?s grin got bigger.

?Love-birds!? Katie took off after him as he started running. The two ran around the field, Katie determined to catch up. She finally tumbled him to the gorund, then the two lay on the ground, laughing helplessly. The rest of the team came over, also laughing.

?TO much! You two are to much!? Alex and Katie frequently ?fought? despite the fact that Alex wasn?t much of a people person.

Katie-Lee sat up, and grinned, giving Alex a noogie. Alex pulled away, and said, ?Watch the hair!?

[COLOR=RoyalBlue] As Mira watched her freinds goof around, she turned her attention to Imric.

"Damn you! I gonna get you for pulling my hair like that!" She said shouting at him.

Imric didn't show concern of Mira's threat, so he just wrapped his arm around her neck and put his hand on her hair.

"Hey stop it you jerk......weren't you listening to me." Mira said trying to break lose.

"Yea I heard ya...but I'm bigger than you and really why should I be scared of a girl?" Imric said in laughter as he let her go.

Mira was furious and so she jumped on top of him, bringing him ti the ground and giving him a noogie.

"Hey stop-" His words were cut off by the teams laughter.

"Hey your the one who started it Imric." A;ex said in a slight smile.

"Hey man why you taking her side for?" Imric said still struggling to get Mira back.[/COLOR]

[Ezekiel]

[COLOR=SlateGray]Imric wasn't struggling much, he wasn't sure if Mira would notice but he was actually smiling...or smirking rather.
He just watched as she pinned him and down and tried to keep him from standing up.

"Just because she's little doesn't mean you can take her side, come on, what about me?"

"Yeah, what about you?" Mira cut in, Imric was taking this whole thing as a joke and it annoyed her.

After getting bored of being shouted at from up above, Imric grabbed Mira's wrists and flipped her over, pinning her down on the pitch.

Everyone turned and stared at the two.

"Im...Imric?! What the hell are you doing?! People are staring, dammit!"

"Oh, so when you've got me down it doesn't matter, but when I'm on top of you...." Imric smirked and watched as Mira blushed, realising what this situation would look like.

"Just get off!" she shouted, but Imric cut her off with a gentle kiss to the lips.[/COLOR]

Mira was redder than a tomato and didn't know what to do. Imric looked at her with a romantic smile. Everyone's eyes were upon them looking confused and surprised.

"Ummmm.......well umm can you get off me now!" Miea said embarressed.

Imric got off and helped her up, but she refused his help. Instead she got up herslef and was ready to leave when Imric grabbed her arm.

"Hey were are you going so fast?" Imric said still smiling.
"None of your business!Umm.I just forgot something at my locker thats all." Mira said trying not to look into his eyes.

"Yea sure you do...huh!" Imric was about to finish his sentence when he noticed that they werem't alone.

"Well well and you had the nerve to call us lovebirds huh!" Katie said with a smirk of satisfaction.[/COLOR]

[color=DarkSlateGray]"Seriously! Hypocrits(sp?). So how long has this little thing been going on Imric?" Jac asked.

Imric pulled him to the side, which was pointless because the rest of the team was following them. "I've liked her...HEY! Could you guys give us some privacy!?" Imric demended. "Jeez. Anyways...you too Alex!!" Alex ran off. "Finally. I've liked her for a little while and I decided to act on it whether we won our game today or not."

"Oh I see. That's cool." Jac replied.

"What's up with you and Katie?" Imric asked, nudgeing at Jac.

"Oh...that..." Jac started.

"Well..." Imric said.

"Well since I first got to know her, I fell in love with her. It's strange because I've never felt this way for anyone before..." Jac told Imric. "It's new to me."[/color]

[Persona]

[COLOR=Magenta] As imric and Jac talked, Katie approached mira and grabbed her arm with a gentle touch. Katie escorted Katie to the girls locker room, while Alex on the other hand was left by himself.
"Hey! Where yous going? Man you girls are wrong leaving me alone." Alex said standing there like a forgotten stray.

The two girls ignored Alex as they walked towards the locker room. As they walked the other socker guys looked at them both and started to hit on them. But they ignored, because they had other business to attend to.

"So whats with you and Imric.....and don't dare say nothing!" Katie said desperatly listening to what Mira had to say.

"Well ummmm.I really don't know what got into him...i_I don't even know if he was just joking or was he for real.I mean I did have a crush on him..but never tohught to take it far, cuz he and I always argue and stuff. See I don't know if he even likes me." Mira said gazing at the sky.

"Well I'll see about it but I do think he does." Katie said while she was changing.

The two girls got dressed and headed out. The boys had finished babbling and were also dressed. The group were all ready, but for what. No one had plans and Imric was trying to talk to Mira , but she was afraid. Instead she went to talk with Jac about something.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]"Is something wrong Imric?"[/COLOR] Andy walks up behind Imeric. "Not really. It's just..." He sighs and looks down. [COLOR=Red]"Do you like Mira?"[/COLOR] "I'll be right back." He goes into the Boys bathroom and splashes water on his face.

Andy rolls her eyes and goes over to talk with Alex. *He's the only other person on this team who isn't falling in love with someone.* she thought to herself. [COLOR=Red]"Hey Alex, What's up?"[/COLOR] "Not much Andy. Everyone is acting so weird, though." [COLOR=Red]"I noticed. Their in love.[/COLOR] Alex sighs and walks over and leans against a wall. Andy follows and then asks, [COLOR=Red]"Is something bugging you?"[/COLOR] "Not really, I just can't believe the sudden outburst of love. I don't think I could ever love someone." [COLOR=Red]"Why?"[/COLOR] "I'm not a people person. I don't think I could like another person." [COLOR=Red]"You'll find someone some day."[/COLOR] She gets off the wall and walks over to where the others are standing. [COLOR=Red]"Have we decided what we're going to do yet?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=SlateGray]Imric clutched the sides of the basin, a slight grin on his face as the water dripped from his chin onto his shirt.
He shook his head and looked in the mirror,

"Why the hell did I do that?" he asked himself, still staring at his reflection.
The boy shook his blue hair from his ponytail and let it cascade down his back, touching the back of his knees.
As he looked back to the mirror he blushed, he looked like a girl.

"Damn..." the teen quickly pulled his hair back into place, putting his glasses back on and getting dressed into his normal clothes. Now the match was over he?d be in his usual, serious and arsey mood.

Grabbing his bag, Imric stepped out of the changing rooms, avoiding Mira's glance and taking off in the opposite direction from the team.

Of course they were all used to that, but it still worried the girls, Imric's mood swings were never good things.[/COLOR]

[Persona]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue] The group walked along without having a clue to what to do next. Mira noticed Imric walking a distance from the group and started to ponder why.

"Hey there goes Imric in his mood swings again." Alex said in a slight giggle.

"Oh give it up....you know it's about Mira and Imric." Katie said giving Alex a shove.

"Hey Andy glad you can join us...Anyways back to the topic." Jacsaid wanting to know Mira's story.

"Jee...thanks for the greetings Jac...you idoit!" Andy said slapping Jac in the back of his head.

"Well come on Mira either you talk to him or spill it to us?" Katie said in frustration.

"Can you guys just give it a break...it was just probably an accident or something." Mira siad sadly.

All of the sudden Katie caled out to Imric, for him to join the group and go eat. It was about time someone thought of someplace to go.[/COLOR]
