[COLOR=DarkOliveGreen]Danny paused and turned around. It was obvious teh action had calmed down, if not stopped completely. He ran back to where Imric and Soulin should be and looked at each of them in turn. His eyes begged teh question... did they get her?

Imric shook his head sadly, and he was obviously angry at himself for letting his sister slip through his grasp again. Soulin's suppressed his powers the best he could, witch seemed to fade out on their own now that the threat was gone. Danny's gaze sunk to the ground.

They had attempted a rescue and failed. Even with just about every powerful mutant from the school, this mysterious antagonist evaded them yet again. With Steffanie. It was at this point Danny snapped. Something clicked in his head, and he couldn't stand it any longer.

Without waiting for anybody, he set off in witchever direction they had aparently gone. He didn't care how long it took. He would walk for miles if he had to. He was sick of this. Sick of them. Someone was gonna burn, and they sure as hell deserved it.[/COLOR]

Soulin looked at Imric with rage in his eyes

'Well that was a pathetic rescue!,' Soulin snapped slamming his fist into the palm of his hand as he looked around, everyone had come back

The Banshee walked up beside Soulin

'Hey calm down lad,' he spoke in his Irish tounge at that moment Soulin stared at him coldly, Bashee then gripped his head as he felt his powers being drained, he tried to scream but he could

'SOULIN STOP IT!!!,' growled Jean as they all ran over them, Soulin then took his attention of The Banshee turned towards the woods and let out a thunderous ear piercing scream, which tore a huge path through it, everyone covered their ears and the Soulin stopped and turned around to look at them

'Is that calm enough for you!,' he growled

'Damn,' gasped Wolverine as they all stood up and frowned at Soulin who folded his arms and made out that it was normal to do such a thing

'So what do we do now?' questioned Sage

Soulin then began walking away

'Where are you going?' questioned Sage

'Well Danny's taken off to find Steffanie...so might aswell follow him instead of standing around here talking about it,' growled Soulin sounding annoyed

*Sorry for posting so late*

Through all the comotion of the fight with Pyro and the clones Jim lost trace of where he was, there was too many explosions from Pyro's fireballs and the smoke made everything hard to see. So far when everyone gathered Danny and Steffanie were missing, Danny must have gone to look for her and whoever took her away again. Once everyone decided to follow them whereever they went, they split into groups of 5 so they could help eachother in battle. Imric, Soulin, Jim, Jean, and Wolverine stayed in a group and searched the gorund together.

"We need to find a sigh of them somewhere, or else we might not get to themon time if their in any danger" Jean spoak up to break the silence in the group. IMric's eyes grew wider as he heard what she said, he was worried that his friend and his sister were in trouble and there was nothing he could do to save them from the clones.

"We need to keep our hopes up and continue the search" Jim replied after a while, the gorup went deep into the woods until they could hardly see. Jim got around ok since he phased through most of the tees, but the others kept on walking into them. Jean just floated in the air using her powers, good thing wolverine had a flashlight on hand.

"Its really humid in these parts of the woods" Soulin said whiping some beads of sweat from his forehead.

"Yes it is, this part of the woods is next to the greenhouse which gives off intense heat for the plants to grow" Jean replied, for a moment the group stopped when Wolverine gave them a signal to.

"Pyro's here!" Wolverine spoak up after a minute of silence, before the group knew it the woods around them cought fire.

Soulin looked around at the fires that roared out of control...just looking at them made his ability slowly go wild but he held it together

'Soulin put it out!,' called Jim as the bushes around him went up in flames, at that moment they began to get seperated by streaks of flames that ran across the ground

'You guys go!, look for Danny and Steffanie, surely they can't be too far if Pyro's here!,' said Soulin, 'I'll deal with Pyro,'

'Hey we can all take out Pyro!,' called Imric

'I know that..but if who ever took her knows that we're here they'll run again!, your the only one in this group who'll have the speed to catch up to them and stop them! and hopefully your sister will let Jean in long enough to find out where the hell she is!,' roared Soulin sounding fustrated, 'NOW GO!!,'

They all made a dash for it, Pyro saw Jean, Wolverine, Jim and Imric sprint through the woods

'Not so fast!!,' exclaimed Pyro as he threw fire balls at them, suddenly they stopped in mid air and then thrown back at him, they hit Pyro hard causing him to smash against a tree and set it on fire

Imric, Jean, Wolverine and Jim ran as fast as they could, Imric bolted through the trees but suddenly was smashed against something solid and cold, he fell to the ground feeling dizzy, the others caught up to him and stopped when they found him laying on the ground, Jim on the other hand kept running as he watched them suddenly he phased through the solid wall that Imric had hit into and came out in a corridor, He stopped and looked around

'What the hell is this place?' Jim whispered to himself, he looked up and noticed some cameras which were scanning the corridors moving left and right, they began to turn in his direction so he quickly phased back through the wall to the outside where the others stood

'Hey...this must be some kind of compound...there's cameras all over the place,' spoke Jim rubbing the back of his neck from the heat

'This may be where they're holding Steffanie,' spoke Imric as Jean helped him up, Wolverine sniffed the air

'Smell anything?' questioned Jean

'They deffinately came this way alright...' spoke Wolverine, 'Come on,'

They then followed Wolverine around the side

Soulin watched Pyro as he stood straight up

'You little..' snarled Pyro as he glared at Soulin, 'You'll pay for that,'

'Yeah..how much?' spoke Soulin sarcasticly suddenly more trees began to burn from Pyros anger, he then threw fire balls towards Soulin, he stopped each one of them in mid air and turned them to Ice, pyro then began throwing more but still they turned to ice, Pyro was now that enraged that he let loose with everything, and engulfed Soulin in a fireball, Soulins breathing had became heavy and he could feel himself slipping again as the fire began to close in around him

'What are you going to do now!!!,' laughed Pyro

They fire walls closed in fast and Soulins heart began to race from Claustrophobia and suddenly he let loose, the walls exploded as Heero's breathing became heavier and faster

'What! NO!!,' exclaimed Pyro as he began to throw more fireballs at Soulin but they were reflected, the burning trees suddenly went up in flames, turned to Ice and then were uprooted and thrown at Pyro who dodged them, he tried to protect himself but Soulin put out eveything he did, suddenly a fire and ice ring began to swirl around Soulins body as he walked towards Pyro who tried to run but was lifted off the ground, Soulin then brought him closer and pulled him into the fire and ice ring which began to expland as Soulins breathing became more rapid, Pyro stared at the teen in fear as Soulin stared at him at that moment Pyro let out a blood curtling scream as Soulin began to obsorb his ability, Soulin's eyes widened as Pyro's memories flowed into Soulins head

'STOP IT!!!,' screamed Pyro as he clutched his head in pain but Soulin couldn't...his abilities were too far gone to control. Pyros veins began to popout of his skin as his face turned red, tears ran down Pyro's face suddenly they turned to blood as Soulins ability kept absorbing his,

Soulin clutched his head in pain as Pyro at that moment Soulin also let out a blood curtling scream and the Fire and Ice ring exploded sending out a massive shock wave of Fire and Ice, Pyro screamed againon last time before falling to ground in a heap, Soulin's eyes rolled back up into his head and he dropped to the ground beside Pyro whos eyes were wide open with blood running down the sides of his head, his nose was also bleeding and his mouth was opened slightly and he drooled...Soulin had stripped his abilities and memories from him and left him paralized and comatized as his body twitched violently from nerves

Wolverine suddenly stopped them again

'What is it?' questioned Imric as they looked around them, jim looked over his shoulder to find a hughe wall of Fire and Ice roaring towards them

'OH SHIT! RUN!,' exclaimed Jim as they quickly ran behind the building and ducked down as the Fire and Ice wall roared passed them making eveything shake violently, everything was turned to ash within seconds as it passed

Wolverine looked up, it's gone,'

They all stood up and looked around as they saw that nothing was left standing accept for the huge building that now was burnt badly

'Soulin..' whispered Jean

'Jim and I will go back for him,' said Wolverine as they took off across the black charcoaled ground

'Dammit so much for the element of surprise,' said Imric as him and Jean ran for the doors of the compound

Wolverina and Jim ran back to soulin

[FONT=Palatino Linotype][COLOR=Teal]Danny crawled through the narrow space of some kind of ventilation shaft. He had found the small entrance hatch alomst on a completely different side of the building, and thought it odd that they would be so careless as to leave it in the open. Nevertheless, he took the chance.

He froze as a clicking sound came down another segment of the metal tunneling. He immediatly used his 'mind evasion' to make sure who or whatever was there wouldn't see him. It was dark, so he could hardly see, but he made out the outline of a clone, engineered to be small and fit through the vents with ease. So they [i]had[/i] thought of this. Whoever 'they' were.

To Danny's relief, the clone turned around and started along a different path. Though it couldn't see him, if it had no way around him it would know he was there. Dany started his careful half crawl half scoot down the passage. Every few second he would carefully call out Steffanie's name through telepathy, but wherever she was in the compound, she couldn't hear his calling.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Jim and Wolverine rushed back into what seemed to be the battle feild that Soulin and Pryo fought in, but the surroundings were destroyed and turned to ashes, some parts of the land were turned to ice and others were still burning very slowly without spreading. Wolverine picked up the scent of Soulin and ran off to a different direction, Jim followed right behind him until they saw their fallen commerade, Jim knelt by Soulin's unconcious body and tried ot wake him.

"He little guy...open youe eyes for me" Jim pleaded, but Soulin didn't respond. It was obvious he was out for the night due to the fight, he must have put all of his energy into the fight to defeat Pryo. Speaking of the devil himself, Pyro was layed next to Soulin but he was more busted up than ever, Soulin did a number on him for sure.

"I'll take stupid back to the institute so we can hand him to the police later after we get him some help" Wolverine said picking up Pryo by his legs and dragging him on the ground, Jim picked up Soulin and set him on his back and rushed as fast as he could to get back with the others, the must have enterd the compund by now. But that compund was weird....why did it have all those cameras inside???

"Guess well find out who took Stefanie later....but this person must be powerful to control those clones and convice Pyro to attack us" Jim wispered to himself as he found himself right by the compund again, there was a large hole on the side of the wall....looks like the others didn't fell like knocking. Before Jim could enter he was grabbed on the shoulder by a large pair of hands and thrown the other direction, he and Soulin fell to the ground hard. Jim struggled to get up and see who he was against, but he was shocked to see who it was.

"Oh God.....It's Juggernaut!" Jim gasped out loud as he saw the large tyrant standing there laughing at Jim.

"Hello runt...I came to finish what the fire-fly couldn't earlier. Now where are the others?" Juggernaut asked, Jim looked around for a minute and found Soulin, he ran over to his side and placed him on his back again.

"Wanna know do you now? Well if you can touch me again..I might spill" Jim said as he phased his whole body and Soulin's body in his place.

"I had a feeling you were gonna make it hard" Juggernaut said as he took out a large cannon and blasted the two on the ground, he actually hit Jim when he was phasing! The force of the blast made the two fall to the ground again, Jim held on tightly to Soulin so he wouldn't go flying off again. He tried to phase as well but couldn't. "This canon is specially made to disable any mutants power until I say you can have it back. So now lets get things started" Juggernaut said pounding his pist into his hand.

[SIZE=2][FONT=Book Antiqua]OOC I ran into a wall?! O_o;; What style!

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][I]Imric, they know we're here by now so we need to be careful, do try to talk to me telepathically.[/I]

Imric nodded as he looked at Jean, she used her powers and drifted off the floor so that she wouldn't make any sound. Imric cursed his abilities but jean smiled,

[I]You are too a telepath, aren't you?[/I]

Imric nodded again,

"But..."

Jean shook her head, the boy concentrated hard and finally managed to get out,

[I]But I....never...tried...[/I]

Jean smiled and drifted to the floor, pulling him around the corner,
"If you try to morph your telepathy with your warp you should be able to almost drift through the air." she whispered in a low voice.
Imric nodded and stood in the middle of the corridor, he figured he'd need some space just in case things went awry.

He concentrated hard and after he thought he should give up, Jean smiled and clapped. When Imric looked down he was floating, with Jean right next to him.

Soulin was out, after what had happened in the woods it had drained alot of his strength leaving him unconcious

Juggernaut lifted Jim up by the neck, Jim began kicking frantically at that moment he kicked Juggernaut in the nuts as hard as he could, Juggernaut dropped Jim and bent over forward holding himself in pain as his eyes bulged out

Jim quickly grabbed a long rusted beam and ran over to juggernaut and smashed him across the back with it, Juggernaut then dropped to his knees then Jim smashed the juggernaut around the face with the beam as hard as he could, the beam broke in half and dented the juggernauts helmet and knocked him out

Jim got down on one knee as he lent against the other half of the beam breathing heavily, He looked around and saw Soulin's lifeless body laying on the ground, quickly he ran over to see if he was ok

'Hey come on little guy...please wake up,' begged Jim looking down at him at that moment Soulin stirred, Soulin opened his eyes and looked at Jim, 'Thank god your ok,' smiled Jim

'Where am I?' questioned Soulin slowly getting up and looking around

'Well...we found a compound...hopefully this is where Steffanie is,' said Jim, Soulin looked around and saw the man laying on the ground

'Who's that?' questioned Soulin

'Juggernaut...bastard,' said Jim, 'Are you alright to stand?'

Soulin then stood up with the help of Jim, at that moment Wolverine, Rogue, cyclops and the Banshee appeared

'What the hell...Juggernaut?' questioned Rogue

'I knew I could smell him,' growled Wolverine

'Yeah he took my abilities away by using his canon,' said Jim, The Banshee then walked over to it, picked it up, out it in reverse mode and shot it at Jim, Jim was lifted off the ground and into the air

'Oh shit!!,' Jim exclaimed, Soulin used his telekinesis to stop Jim from hitting the ground, Jim looked around as Soulin placed Jim on the ground softly, Soulin then dropped to one knee

'Soulin!,' called Rogue as she ran up to him

'I'm ok...just a little tired

Jim looked at Soulin then stood up, he then phased throught the ground and then came back up again

'Great!,' he smiled as he walked over and helped Soulin back up, 'Thanks,'

'It's ok,' said Soulin

'So the others must be inside,' said Cyclops

'Yeah but there's so many cameras around,' said Jim

'Well then we'll just have to take them out,' smiled Cyclops

They ran over to the hole in the wall, Cyclops used his kenetic beam from his eyes to destroy the cameras and then they entered the hallway

She heard the ecstatic response, but couldn?t understand the words. [I]I can?t understand you! Something is dampening my powers![/I]

Whatever he said next was cut off. [I]Oh, shut up! I?m in a large room ? thirty feet by fifty ? and the room seems to glow because of this gel pod their keeping me in. Hurry! And, whatever you do, Nathaniel,[/I]don?t get caught.

She panted, aware that the gel had taken a lot out of her. Steffanie hung in the gel as the link dropped, and closed her eyes. Her face was pale and drawn.

?[b]So. I see you?ve been attempting to contact your friends?[/b]? Her head snapped up, and she saw one of the most gorgeous women she had ever seen. The cat-lady chuckled. ?[b]Oh, did I startle you? The gel dampens your abilities, you know. You won?t be able to talk to anyone that way. Besides, Pyro took care of them. And if he didn?t, I?m sure-[/b]? She stopped, cocking her head to one side. ?[b]Ah, well. It seems I am needed. Tootles.[/b]? She spun, and left the room.

Steffanie hung in the pod, tears streaming down her face.[/size][/font][/color]

Steffanie's mental voice was hard to hear and several words were inaudable, but Danny caught most of it. He wasn't too much closer to finding her, but at least he knew what to look for. Being his typical self, he blushed when she called him Nathaniel. This was no place to be embarressed, he thought as he shook himself of the feeling.

Now there was the occasional opening in the vents that Danny could peek through and see where he was. They offered little help, but did provide a way out when he needed it. Speaking of witch, he could hear more clones making their way noisily down the vents. There was one on both sides of him and no side passages.

His heart started beating faster. What if they didn't turn around soon enough? What if they found him in this narrow vent? The rythmic clicking of their claws grew closer and with no option left, Danny slammed open the vent beneath him and hopped out, still trying to keep his 'invisibilty' active.

He saw one of the clones peer down through the open hatch and then continue on it's way, ignoring him. [i]Thank God, Buddha, Allah, and whoever else is out there.[/i], he thought to himself. Now he was in a long narrow corridor, a camera on one end and an ominous looking door on the other. The walls were metallic and oppressive, giving off a new-age gleam. He was just out of range of the camera and the door seemed like it might open when he got close.

Before Danny could move however, the door opened on it's own and a woman, obviously a mutant, strolled down the hall. He froze and even held his breath. She gave off an aura of power, of malevolence. He shuddered as she passed, thanking the numerous gods again that she didn't see him.[/COLOR][/FONT]
